Darkness Rising
#3 of Chronicles of Sonic Fox
This story is rated "Y" for Yiffy. Reader discretion is advised. I swatted at a low hanging branch on a dead tree as I followed Falco, Slippy, and Fara through the Moon Mountain Pass. We had just landed on Sauria after the Star Fox team received a message from Corneria that a small band of SharpClaws were causing trouble for the numerous tribes on Sauria. Even though General Scales died when Andross forced him to give up the last Krazoa spirit to Fox when he first came to this planet, a few SharpClaws continued Scales' campaign with very little success. The reason why they are a problem now is because one of the members of The Remnant was spotted among their ranks; the Cornerian government believes that he is the reason for the SharpClaws recent success in their raids. When the Star Fox team received this message, Fox ordered all of us to meet at the bridge for the mission plan; we were to meet up with the Earthwalker Tribe and then search for the SharpClaws hideout. It was a little awkward for me on the bridge; last night Krystal had slept with me in order to test her relationship with Fox. Krystal gave me a smile every time she caught me staring at her; it's strange, at first I couldn't keep my mind off of her in a sexual way but now I can see her as a friend rather than a lover. However, even though Fox had suggested that Krystal should sleep with me, I felt like he was avoiding me; I guess he's upset about having someone else sleep with the one person he cares the most about. I would, too. Despite the past evening's events, we landed on Sauria and rendezvoused with Prince Tricky and the Earthwalker Tribe. I had never seen such a lush place; no paradise on Earth could be as amazing as Sauria. The vegetation was so different to the kind I usually saw and the water was much cleaner than I expected it to be; not to be girly, but I wondered what the sunset was like here. As cool as the scenery was, it paled in comparison to the living breathing dinosaurs that inhabited this world. I saw ancient creatures that were long gone back on Earth; the Star Fox team had to restrain me from touching some of them. When we met with Prince Tricky, Fox split us up into two groups; Fox, Krystal, and Tricky would go to the north of the Earthwalker's city to check out a fortress near Cape Claw while Falco, Slippy, Fara, and I searched for an abandoned outpost in Moon Mountain Pass. Even though the concept of facing a horde of SharpClaws and a member of The Remnant was daunting, I couldn't help but feel excited by exploring this world; plus, I had a new blaster and was itching to use it. "So Fara, what did you say the Cornerian government was going to give me upon completion of this mission?" I asked the vixen beside me. "General Pepper has promised to reward your service to the Lylat System with a ship of your own. It's a yacht class stealth vessel, not as big as the Great Fox or any other battleship in the Cornerian Fleet but it'll serve as a base of operations for you and possibly a few others no matter where you go," said Fara. "Really!? My own ship!?" I exclaimed, my voice echoing throughout the rocky mountain pass. My enthusiasm slowly died down when a thought passed through my mind. "Wait; if I get a ship, then how can I take it with me?" Fara smiled; she must really enjoy being the smart one. "Your father was able to take not only your mother, but his own stunt fighter to multiple dimensions; I think you'll be just fine." I gazed around at the eerie mountain pass, marveling at the bizarre terrain. "This place is so amazing," I murmured for the hundredth time, "I've never seen anything like this back home." "You do realize that we're trekking through a gloomy mountain pass possibly filled with a bunch of mutant lizards, right?" Falco irritably remarked from up ahead. "Oh come on, Falco; he's just excited to be on his first mission," Slippy replied, "Besides, most of the SharpClaws were killed when the Aparoids attacked this planet." I nodded towards Slippy, thanking him for sticking up for me. "How much farther is this place?" "It should be right around this corner," Fara answered, rounding the corner, "Yep, this is it." As I walked beside Fara and the others I saw the old outpost. Dense vegetation that seemed like the vines that grow out of Moon Seeds covered the outside of the building and a faint glow emitted from one of the few windows that weren't broken. "Check it out," Falco whispered as he pointed at the glow, "Isn't this place supposed to be abandoned?" "Yeah, but I don't hear anything," Slippy remarked, "There must not be many of them." "Well then," Falco said as he slowly crept towards the building, coolly drawing his blaster, "Let's get the jump on them." As silently as possible, the four of us made our way over to the large double doors of the outpost. Falco signaled to Fara and Slippy to open the doors while Falco and I took offensive positions. With our blasters ready, Fara and Slippy pushed open the doors. "Oh shit," I said aloud. Over fifty SharpClaws were jam-packed into what looked like a makeshift tavern; every one of them had either a tankard or a piece of raw meat in their hands, their weapons laying close beside them. I remembered these guys from "Star Fox Adventures," but they were much bigger than I recalled; almost all of them were a few inches taller than me. As the doors slammed against the walls, every one of their heads turned to stare at us. There was a long silence as we just gawked at the vast number of SharpClaws glaring at us. Suddenly, one of the SharpClaws pointed at us and yelled something in dino language and immediately all of the SharpClaws started to clap and cheer. Stunned, the four of us stood with our mouths agape at the sudden celebration. One of the SharpClaws made his way over to us and smiled broadly. "Oei Star Fox team; oei julo SharpClaws vhem General Scales. No veholoh whukovic!" "What did he say?" Falco asked. "One second; Nik, let me see your arm," Fara ordered. As I raised my left arm, Fara quickly touched the screen and managed to activate a universal translator. "This should do it." Immediately, the translator processed what the SharpClaw said into a written text that I understood: You Star Fox team; you save SharpClaws from General Scales. We forever grateful! "I guess these aren't the SharpClaws we're looking for," Slippy remarked. "Do you know where the rogue SharpClaws are?" Fara asked the SharpClaw. It was weird how in dino language almost every noun isn't altered; it was even weirder that the SharpClaw understood Fara. "No de joo kxom, rik no xouh kxo0 douh Cape Claw," the SharpClaw grumbled. We didn't need the translator to figure out that the best place to search was Cape Claw, where Fox, Krystal, and Tricky went. "I think he said that Cape Claw was where they were seen last," Slippy remarked. "We should head that way and help Fox and Krystal out." We closed the doors and started to hike back to ThornTail Hollow. After fifteen minutes of walking a panicked CloudRunner came swooping down from out of nowhere. "Xocf, semo giasb! 0eih vhaodtj xulo rood sufkihot!" the CloudRunner cried out. Falco grabbed my left arm and looked at the computer screen, waiting for a translation to appear. Falco's eyes widened as the translation came through. "Guys, Fox and Krystal have been captured!" "What? How?" exclaimed Slippy. "It doesn't matter how," Falco snapped. The blue falcon turned his attention to the CloudRunner. "Where are they?" "Kxo0'ho ad u jmucc vehkhojj douh Cape Claw," the CloudRunner answered, which translated to "They're in a small fortress near Cape Claw." "What are we going to do?" I asked. "Alright," Falco said as he took a deep breath, "Fara, Slippy, and I are going to go to the EarthWalker city and get some help; Nik, you head back to the Great Fox and stay there." "Hey wait," I protested, "I want to help them, too. You'll need all the help you can get!" Fara placed a hand on my shoulder and gave me a sad stare. "I know, Nik; but this is more dangerous than we thought. We need you to stay safe." With that the three of them ran off in the direction of the EarthWalker city. I couldn't believe it; first they want me to help them and now they want me to sit this one out. Well, I wasn't going to just sit around and hope Fox, Krystal, and Tricky are okay; this was my chance to prove to myself that I'm ready for what's ahead. "Hey," I called to the CloudRunner, "You know where this fortress is, right?" "0oj, nx0 te 0ei ujb?" replied the CloudRunner as it landed on the ground. I walked over to the CloudRunner, checking the translator. "Take me there."
The sun set on the dinosaur planet; the sky was painted with a brilliant orange hue. I didn't have the luxury of staring at it, though. After a terrifying flight on the back of the CloudRunner, we had landed on one of the battlements of the SharpClaws' fortress; the only reason they didn't see me was because they were all crowded in the courtyard, all eyes on the scaffold in the middle. As the CloudRunner flew away, I peered down at the courtyard filled with SharpClaws. On the scaffold was Fox, Krystal, and Tricky; Fox and Krystal were bound with ropes around their hands while each of Tricky's legs were tied down. Close to them was a figure in a black cloak; it was obvious he was a member of The Remnant. The figure removed the cloak and through it to the side, revealing a slim, blue-furred jackal dressed in a black tunic. On his neck was a white marking that resembled a twisted chain. The SharpClaws began to cheer as the jackal prepared to speak. I readied the translator as the jackal began his speech. "My friends," the jackal called out in Saurian, "You have been most patient with me, and today your tolerance has been rewarded!" The jackal moved back towards Fox and the others. "Did I not tell you that if you allowed me to help you I would have your enemies before you in a matter of days?" The SharpClaws cried out in agreement. "Behold," the jackal bellowed as he gestured towards the captives, "The prince of the EarthWalkers and the two offworlders who defeated your leader are yours to do with as you see fit!" The jackal slowly turned and face the three captives. "I feel sorry for you," he said in English, "These SharpClaws are most displeased with the three of you. I can already picture what they're going to do to you; I admit it makes me feel so warm inside just thinking about it." The jackal reached out at Krystal, his hand seeming to aim for her breast. Fox glared at him and kicked out with his right leg, striking the jackal in the chest. The jackal stumbled back, gasping for breath. The SharpClaws roared in outrage, but the jackal merely held up his hand and the SharpClaws fell silent. As he caught his breath, the jackal made his way over to Fox with an evil look in his eyes. "You should know that whatever the SharpClaws intend to do with you," he hissed as he grabbed a hold of Fox's neck, "Is nothing compared to what I'll do to the three of you. The SharpClaws will beat the three of you until you beg for them to stop, and your little friend here will be ravaged daily; but I will ensure that you share her shame, both you and your EarthWalker friend." "You sick freak," rasped Fox, "I hope Nik catches you one day and makes you pay for all of this!" Unable to just sit and listen to the jackal threaten my friends, I looked for a way to get down to that scaffold. I spied a rope that lead all the way down to the scaffold; a perfect zip line at my disposal. I unbuckled my utility belt and wrapped it around the rope, readying myself to zip down to the scaffold when the perfect moment arrived. "Nik?" the jackal laughed, "That little half-blood bastard can go fuck a cheese grater for all I care." That was the last straw; I leapt off the battlement and zipped down the rope at an incredible speed. As I neared the scaffold, a few SharpClaws noticed me and began to crowd around the raised platform. I let go of one end of my belt and landed with a slightly painful thud onto the scaffold. The jackal turned around but did nothing; I had taken him by surprise. "Go fuck yourself, asshole!" I shouted at the top of my lungs. I readied myself for the power I was about to unleash, feeling the strong yet subtle current in my right arm slowly build up. The jackal took a step forwards and I thrust my right arm forward as if to punch him. A bright blue light coursed through the length of my arm and sprang from my fist with a loud boom. The sonic blast hit the jackal in the gut and sent him flying off the scaffold, landing on top of several SharpClaws down below. I turned and faced Fox and the others, all of whom seemed surprised yet relieved to see me. I drew my blaster from my belt and aimed at the rope that bound Fox's hands. I squeezed the trigger and a bright red beam shot out from the barrel, severing the rope. "Nik, what are you doing here?" Fox exclaimed. "Practicing," I said with a smile. I tossed my blaster to Fox, who caught it neatly in midair. "You get Krystal," I said as I drew my sword, "I'll help Tricky." Fox nodded and made ran over to Krystal. Sword in hand, I dashed over to where Tricky was tied down; with four swings of the sword, the ropes that held the EarthWalker down severed. Now that he was free, the mighty EarthWalker prince leapt off the scaffold, scattering the surrounding SharpClaws. "Guys, hop on!" Tricky called out to us. I glanced back to check on Fox and Krystal; Fox had already freed Krystal and the two of them jumped off the platform landing on Tricky's back. "Come on, Nik!" Krystal shouted. As the SharpClaws started to crawl up on the scaffold, I ran in the opposite direction and leapt off the platform. I landed on Tricky's back behind Fox and Krystal, cringing as a sharp pain lanced through my lower body upon landing. As soon as I got situated, Tricky thundered forward, bowling over any SharpClaws dumb enough to get in the EarthWalkers way. Tricky dashed for the exit, but two SharpClaws started to lower a rusty gate in an attempt to trap us inside the fortress. Tricky sped up and the three of us held on as the EarthWalker prince carried us to safety. I couldn't help but feel exhilarated by the situation; I even started to laugh. Just as we were about to pass through the exit, one of the SharpClaws that were closing the gate leapt at Tricky and grabbed a hold of my leg. I lost my balance and fell off the EarthWalker, tumbling onto the SharpClaw who dragged me off. I gave the SharpClaw a swift kick to the gut and made a mad dash for the gate, but by the time I got half way there it was already closed. Tricky turned back around and trudged over to the gate. "Nik, are you alright?" Fox called out. "Yeah," I shouted, turning around to keep an eye on the SharpClaws that were slowly approaching me. "Listen," Fox yelled, "Find somewhere to hide and stay there! We'll be back with help!" Tricky turned back around and ran away from the fortress; I could see the worried looks on Fox and Krystal's faces. Heeding Fox's words, I ran towards a door in the side of the wall. I opened the door and slammed it back behind me once I was inside. I was in a tower; nothing was on the first floor but crates and eggs. I spied a staircase and started to ascend the steps. I could hear the SharpClaws from below and pushed myself to go faster. I was exhausted and I couldn't manage another flight of steps, so I stopped at the next floor and ran down the hallway. There were several doors in the hallway; I just picked one at random and opened the door. Inside was what looked like a dungeon room or torture chamber; there were rusty chains hanging from the walls and ceiling, dark red splotches on the floor, and in the far back was some kind of chair with metal clasps to hold victims in the seat. I searched for a place to hide and settled for a stone altar with all kinds of weapons on it. I ducked behind the stone altar, clutching my sword with both hands and praying I would not be discovered. I don't know how long I was sitting there, listening for the door to open and being as quiet as possible. Suddenly, the door slowly opened and I could hear footsteps; oddly enough, the footsteps sounded like they were from only one person and it sounded like they were taking their time. The door closed and there was a sound like the door was being locked; I was now trapped in the room with someone. "I know you're in here, Nikolas," a voice called out; it belonged to that jackal from before. "You must realize there's no way out of here; just give up and I'll ensure you have a quick and painless death." The footsteps trailed off to the other side of the room; at least he didn't know where I was hiding. "I don't know if you remember me from long ago," the jackal murmured, "But allow me to refresh your memory. I am Hunter Jackal; I specialize in capturing and torturing whoever gets in my way. Even though you freed your friends, you should know that they were the bait to lure you to me." I was shocked, even though I probably shouldn't have; I had fallen for the oldest trick in the book. "Tell me," Jackal called out from the left side of the room, "Do you remember anything about your parents? Do you remember their names? Do you remember what they looked like? Do you remember how they died?" Jackal's words seemed to stab at my heart and mind. The freak was just messing with my head; they couldn't be dead, could they? "I remember that day so well," Jackal said as he came closer to where I was hiding, "We found where you and your parents were hiding and struck in the late afternoon. Lance and his wife did their best to hold us off; they sent you out of the house with your father's sword in hand. I remember chasing you through the house and into the woods; I also remember the fiery explosion that engulfed your home." No, it isn't true; he's lying! But each time he spoke, my memories came flooding back. I remember sitting in the living room of our house; we lived in a high tech house in the middle of the woods. I was taking a small nap when something exploded from the other side of the house. When I woke up, the house was in flames. I saw my mother running down the smoke filled hallway, calling out to me. I ran to her, asking her what was going on. She just shook her head, placed my father's sword in one of my pockets, and told me to run. The look on her face was so sad, like she knew she was going to die. The wall suddenly exploded and a huge figure stood in the hole in the wall. An enormous blue scaled dragon stood before my mother and me. The dragon was thickly muscled and covered in a ripped up battle outfit; behind him where two impressive wings and a long, thick tail. I could see the tattoos from his tattered clothing; he had more marking than my father and I. From out of nowhere, my father tackled the dragon to the ground and told us to run. My mother pushed me to the other side of the room, but she did not follow; I remember trying to cling to her and stay with her, but she kept me away and urged me to leave. Finally, I did as my mother wished and ran down the burning hallway. I heard footsteps from behind and glance over my shoulder to see Hunter Jackal chasing after me. I ran as fast as I could, zipping down the hallways until I made my way outside. I jumped over tree stumps and swerved around boulders, trying my best to lose my pursuer. I spotted a bush and jumped behind it, listening to Jackal search through the nearby hedges. Suddenly, a huge explosion rocked the entire area. I peeked out from behind the bush and saw that my house was no longer there; all that remained were a few charred walls and several fires burning around the vicinity. I couldn't believe what I had just seen; my home was destroyed and I couldn't see my parents anywhere. I closed my hand over my mouth, trying to stifle my cries as hot tears welled up in my eyes; I was now all alone with the assailants. There was a rustling sound as seven cloaked figures emerged from the brush and walked over to Jackal. "Are they dead?" Jackal asked in a somewhat happy tone. "Take a look," Razor Cougar growled, "What do you think, you twit?" "Enough," one of the figures shouted. "Jackal, where is the boy?" Jackal shrugged his shoulders, "He could be anywhere in this forest. Why do we need that little bastard anyways; let's just leave him here and let him starve to death." The figure that stopped Cougar and Jackal's squabble stepped forward, causing Jackal to step back in fear. "I told you I want him alive!" the figure barked. "Why do we even need him," Jackal asked from a safe distance, "Lance and his mate are dead; what good is their bastard to us?" As The Remnant bickered over what course of action they should take; I felt a powerful emotion well up inside of me. I felt a horrible pain in my heart as I mourned the loss of my parents, but that sorrow soon grew hot with a new sensation. Rage; pure hate filled my heart and clouded my mind. All I could think of was ripping out each one of their throats for what they did to my parents. The markings on my back and shoulders began to heat up, but not like they had when I leapt to another dimension with my mother and father. This heat was painful and made me groan in agony. Something was stirring inside me, something that had never been there before. Let me out... A voice echoed inside my head; I had never heard that voice before, but I felt as if I should've recognized it. Without warning, my body started to change; my muscles became enlarged and fur turned from blue to black. My claws became sharper and my physique began to shift, tearing my clothing in the process. Make them suffer... I didn't know what was happening, but I wasn't afraid. Somehow, deep inside of me, I knew I wanted this. I let the hate grow along with my body, which was now covered in black fur and thickly muscled. There was a sensation like I was holding onto a rope, and I finally decided to let go. Kill them! Kill them all! My body was no longer my own; I was no longer in control. I jumped out from behind the bushes and charged at the cloaked figures with a savage snarl. A few of them gasped in shock while others fell backwards in terror; all but one. Rage fueling my heart, I lunged at the one figure who stood firm, claws ready to shred him to pieces. I lashed out at the figure, but my claws struck nothing as my target whirled around me like a wraith. I turned to face him, only to be picked up in the air by the throat. My hands clasped against the figure's scaly hand, trying to prevent the sharp claws on each finger from penetrating my esophagus. My vision began to wade as I struggled for breath, my legs kicking out in a futile attempt at escape. As I fought for air, the hatred that had empowered me faded away; my fur returned to its blue sheen and my body shifted back to its original form. I felt the scaly hand loosen, allowing me a little oxygen but not enough to put up a fight any longer. "What the hell just happened?" Jackal asked hysterically. The figure that held me pulled down the hood of his cloak, revealing the face of the dragon I saw inside the house. "Now you see why I wanted the boy alive," the dragon said in a calm voice, "He has a gift I've never seen before. The ability shift from a fox to a wolf without any drawbacks is a miracle of nature." "A wolf," murmured Cougar as he sheathed his sword, "Is that what he became?" "He's too dangerous," an enormous figure said from behind me, "He has no control as a wolf. Besides, we took care of his parents; there's no way he'll follow your orders." The dragon chuckled at his subordinate's remark. "You'd make a good point had I not obtained a special stone that can cloud one's memories." The dragon reached into his robes with his free hand and pulled out a small yellow stone. "I'm going to erase his memories and send him to another dimension; one that will make him see our way of thinking." "Where," a female voice inquired, "What place could you possibly have in mind?" "Do you remember that backwater planet we visited a few weeks ago? It's the perfect place for his desensitization, and with that artifact we stole we can disguise him as one of the natives. With no powers, no memories, and the constant struggle to survive in a superficial community his views will slowly shift and change to our own; then we can allow him into our ranks and use him as a berserker against our enemies." There were murmurs of agreement from all the figures; not one voice spoke out in protest. The dragon brought his face close to mine and smiled; he raised the yellow stone and placed it against my forehead. "We'll meet again, Nikolas." There was a bright flash and the next thing I know I'm at the orphanage in Compass City. As the memories returned so did the hate I harbored for The Remnant; because of them I had suffered in one of the worst cities in the world with no family for eight years. The more I dwelled on the past, the more that strange sensation crept over me like a subtle chill down my spine. Once more my markings burned white hot, my blue fur turned black, and I could feel my suit constantly adjusting to my growing muscles. Before I realized what was going on, everything went red then faded to darkness.
I took my first breath in eight years, relishing the sensation of fresh oxygen filling my lungs. I opened my eyes gazed around the dark room. Even though I had slept for eight years I recall all that has transpired during my absence. The Remnant member Hunter Jackal drew nearer to where Nik was hiding, where I was hiding. I placed my father's sword into its holster and readied myself to strike. Jackal was approaching the altar; I could hear his footsteps growing louder and louder. In a flash I leapt over the altar and lunged at the terrified jackal. The jackal reached for a gun on his belt, but he was unable to draw it before I was upon him. I lashed out at his face, my claws raking the side of his face. Jackal screamed in a mixture of pain and terror, holding a hand to his bleeding cheek. Before he could react, I grabbed him by the neck and flung him into the wall. As he fell to the ground in a daze, I quickly leapt on top of him and began to mercilessly batter his body with my fists. I don't know how long I struck the jackal, but after he began to roll up into the fetal position I decided to shift gears, so to speak. As quickly as possible, I grabbed one of the rusty chains hanging from the ceiling and yanked the jackal up onto his feet. I raised his hands above his head and began to tie the chain around his wrists, making sure he wouldn't be able to escape. Satisfied with his immobilized arms, I stood before the frightened creature with a smile on my face. "So, we meet again," I said in a cold tone, "For eight years I have been lying dormant, waiting for the chance to see you and your comrades again." Jackal stared up at me with wide eyes that betrayed his overwhelming fear. "You changed," he muttered, "How can a half-blooded runt like you-," he managed to say before I dealt him a swift kick to the stomach. The jackal coughed and wheezed, unable to double over thanks to the chains that immobilized him. "What the hell are you, Nikolas?" I brought my face close to his and stared straight into his eyes. "Nik's no longer in control," I whispered, "Thanks to your ranting; I've been given a small opportunity to exact revenge on you." I wasn't just saying that to scare him; the fox known as Nikolas was now where I once was, sleeping peacefully while I did whatever I pleased. We were one in the same, but at the same time completely different. During those eight years on Earth, I had watched as the fox tried his best to survive in that cruel city. I was filled with disgust when the fox simply walked away from those who mocked him or when he went out of his way to help someone without so much as a thank you. It wasn't like I didn't have some control; whenever he managed to pick a fight, I joined him and relished the beatings we would give. But such times were short lived, and I knew that it was the same for this moment as well. "Now that I have you," I continued, circling the jackal, "I wonder what I should do to you. I could beat you, stab you, break your legs, but none of these ideas go far enough." I thought long and hard about what I should do to my captive, and then a smile formed on my muzzle. "Do you remember what you said to Fox McCloud and his friends?" I asked the jackal in a mocking tone; he didn't respond. "As I recall it, you said that Krystal would be ravaged daily while you saw to it that Fox and the EarthWalker prince suffered the same treatment; are you a bisexual?" I faced the jackal's back and grabbed a hold of his butt cheek. "For your sake, I hope so." The jackal began to struggle against the chains as I tore off his pants; I had to admit I didn't fancy men, but if it would bring this bastard pain then so be it. With his pants removed I gazed at his scrawny ass, thinking of the pain that he would soon feel. I undid my belt and slowly pulled down the bottom portion of my suit, taking time to undo the pants underneath and remove my underwear as well. Undressed from the waist down I began to massage my sheathe, feeling the impressive new length it had ascertained through the transformation. It didn't take long for my cock to free itself from my sheathe; I took the pillar of flesh into my hand and aligned it with the jackal's ass. "This is for my parents," I said as I pushed the tip against his sphincter, "And my friends." With a snarl I shoved my length violently into the jackal's ass, causing him to scream in pain. As much as I enjoyed hearing the bastard scream, I didn't want the SharpClaws to hear him and interfere. I reached down and picked up one of the tattered remnants of his pants and tied it around his muzzle. Now that he was silenced, I could go as hard as I wanted without the fear of being discovered. I didn't start at a slow pace like Nik did when Krystal slept with him; I immediately began to thrust into the tight ass as fast as possible, grunting as the jackal tightened around my cock. My claws dug into the jackal's rear as I gripped it tightly with both hands. The feeling of overpowering another creature like this was incredible; it was more than enough to excite me and encourage me to double my efforts. The most bizarre thing happened as I plunged into the jackal again and again; I felt the jackal press back against my hips and heard him moan through closed lips. The bitch was enjoying it in a weird way; his throbbing cock was proof of that. With an evil laugh I started to thrust as hard as I could, trying to get off as fast as possible. "You really enjoy this deep down," I grunted, "You like having your ass plundered by a big thick cock while your small balls get slapped by a bigger pair of them, don't you?" The jackal whimpered; I couldn't tell if he was agreeing or not. Suddenly the jackal tensed up and a single stream of cum shot out of his hard cock, landing two feet away from us. With a growl I came inside the jackal's ass; the cum overflowed from his quivering ass and dribbled down my shaft. I pulled out of the shivering jackal and wiped my dick clean with one of the torn pieces of his pants. After putting on my pants and suit leggings I walked around to face the jackal, stuffing the used piece of clothing down his tunic. "Well, that was mildly entertaining," I said with a sigh, "But now it's time for us to say goodbye." I reached down for Jackal's belt and picked up a small black cube with yellow numbers on each side; the same device Cougar tried to use with his last breath. I pushed the button on the top of the cube, tossed the beeping device at Jackal's feet, and I ran towards the door as fast as I could. I stole a glance at the soon to be deceased Jackal; he was smiling, probably thought his comrades would avenge him. Fool. I dashed out the door and down the steps; halfway down, I heard multiple SharpClaws scream as the bomb went off. I exited out into the courtyard, greeted by six SharpClaws with axes; all of the others must've been in the blast radius of the bomb if this was all that was left. Two ran towards me, axes waving in the air. Growling, I reached down and readied my sword, waiting for them to get close enough to strike. The first one to reach me swung vertically; I sidestepped the attack and swung my sword at the reptile's neck, severing the head from the rest of the body. The other SharpClaw stopped in his tracks, frightened by the beheaded corpse of its accomplice. Before it could regain its courage, I ran towards it and thrust my sword into its gut. The SharpClaw gasped and clung to me, trying to hold its weight as its strength faded away with his life. I removed my sword and watched the SharpClaw fall dead to the ground. Now there were only four, all of whom had thrown down their weapons and coward before me. "Fcoujo," one of them whimpered, "Fcoujo ted'k xihk ij!" I checked my translator to see what they had said, laughing when it turned out to be a plea for mercy. I was about to advance on them when an odd sensation worked its way into my markings. My strength started to wane and I began to lose focus. No, not now! I tried my best to keep consciousness, to keep that fox from regaining control. But it was no use; my time was up. My body began to shrink back to its "normal" size and my fur turned back to blue. As I fell into the dark abyss I called home, I managed a sleepy smile as the thought of killing a member of The Remnant crossed my mind.
I slowly awoke from a frightening nightmare; my eyes slowly opened and I regained my senses. As I shook of the drowsiness that plagued me, I was astounded to find that I was no longer hiding behind the altar and I was standing before four cowering SharpClaws. In one of my hands was my sword, its blade stained red. I gazed around and took in the carnage that surrounded me; two SharpClaws lay dead before me while the building behind me was partially dissolved from a huge explosion that couldn't have happened more than five minutes ago. My stomach began to tighten as I came to a horrible realization; that nightmare I had just experience was real. I had raped and murdered Hunter Jackal, killed the vast majority of the SharpClaws with a bomb, and murdered two SharpClaws with my sword. As I remembered more of what had transpired I started to panic and fell to the ground, unable to cope with the guilt. I started to cry as sat before the SharpClaws, afraid to move lest I transform again and kill them in cold blood. All of a sudden, there was a loud crash as two EarthWalkers broke through the gate. The two EarthWalkers plus three additional triceratopses circled the four SharpClaws, forcing the bewildered reptiles to submit to their orders. From the gate came more EarthWalkers; after a dozen made their way inside, Prince Tricky and the Star Fox team came over to me. "Nik," Fox called out as he ran over to me, "Are you alright? You're not hurt are you?" "Go away," I sobbed, not daring to look at Fox, "Don't get anywhere near me." "What's wrong? Are you okay?" Fara asked as she knelt down beside me. "They're dead," I muttered, taking a deep breath, "They're all dead. I killed them all; Jackal and the SharpClaws. I hid from them and then my memories returned and I...I changed; I killed them and I couldn't stop myself. I'm dangerous; please go before I hurt you, too." Nobody said anything; they must've been startled by what they just heard. "Nik," Fox said, "It's okay; you did what you had to do in order to survive." I shook my head, still refusing to gaze on my friends. "No, it wasn't. I did it...for my parents." I started to weep heavier as I thought about what had happened eight years ago. "My parents are gone; The Remnant killed them. I'm all alone; I have nothing to live for." I felt Fox put his hand on my shoulder; I shuddered at his touch. "Nik," he said gently, "It's okay; you don't have to be scared. I know how you feel; I lost my parents, too. But I doubt they would want you to throw away your life. You need to move forward in life; it's not your fault." Fox's words reached my heart; he was right, my parents gave their lives for me. I started to calm down, taking a few deep breaths in order to slow my throbbing heart. I lifted my head and stared at Fox; I couldn't find the words to thank him. "Now," Fox said softly, "As calmly as you can, tell me everything that happened."
I walked down one of numerous hallways on the Great Fox; searching for Fox's room. The day had passed so quickly after the mission. Once the SharpClaws were taken away, Prince Tricky gave us a formal thank you in the EarthWalker city and saw us off as we headed to the Great Fox; even though I was still shaken up about my transformation it helped calm me down to here Tricky and the Star Fox team say that I was a hero in their eyes. At the fortress I had told Fox and the others all about what happened eight years ago and what I remembered from my transformation; I left out the raping, though. As soon as we were onboard, everyone sort of shut down and went to their rooms, but there was something that had been bothering me all day that I had to take care of. After taking off my suit, I started walking towards Fox's room. I finally found Fox's room and knocked on the door; it opened ten seconds later, revealing Fox wearing only pants and an unbuttoned jacket. "Nik," Fox murmured, "Are you alright? You still upset about earlier?" "No, I'm okay now," I muttered. "I wanted to talk to you about something; about Krystal." Fox seemed to tense up. "You don't have to say anything; I wanted Krystal to sleep with you." "I know," I said, staring at the floor, "But I still want to apologize. Even though you and Krystal arranged last night's events, I still feel horrible about it. Krystal was my first and I can't thank her enough for that, but I feel like I stole her from you even if it was for a brief moment. So although I'm not going to run off with Krystal, I still think I owe you something; you can take your best shot at me and I won't stop you." I spread my arms, inviting Fox to hit me as I shut my eyes tight in anticipation. I felt Fox push down my arms; I opened my eyes and saw the vulpine smiling at me. "Nik, you don't have to apologize to me," Fox said warmly. "I know you and Krystal have no special feelings for each other, and I know that I've been a little distant from you; for that I'm sorry. But I could never hit you; despite how it may look to others, you and Fara have helped my relationship with Krystal become stronger than ever." "I told you not to worry, Nik," a voice said from Fox's room. Krystal and Fara appeared on either side of Fox, smiling broadly; Krystal was dressed in the revealing outfit she wore in "Star Fox Adventures" that I loved so much. "How long were you standing there?" I asked, utterly embarrassed. "The whole time," Krystal said with a giggle; my face flushed bright red. Fara stepped out of the room and stood beside me. "Don't be embarrassed," Fara whispered, "I did the same thing last night." "Well, if there's nothing else," Krystal said as she wrapped an arm around Fox's chest, "Would you excuse the two of us?" Fox's face underwent the same color change as mine. "Oh God yes," I quickly replied. Fox and Krystal waved good-bye and closed the door. Not wanting to hang around to listen to their "noises," I started to walk down the hallway to my room with Fara close beside me. "So, you were a part of this, too?" I asked. "Yeah," Fara sighed dreamily, "It was great to be with Fox again. It got a little embarrassing when Krystal came in, and even more so when she joined us." I stopped walking and just stared at her; that was quite possibly the hottest thing I ever heard a video game character say. "Wow," I uttered, continuing my trek to my room. After a short while I finally reached my room and stepped inside. "Could I come in?" Fara asked. I nodded and allowed her inside. The vixen walked over to my bed and sat down on the edge, patting on the mattress. I sat down beside her, wondering what she had in mind. "So Nik," Fara began, "What're you going to do now?" "I don't know," I mumbled, "But I can't stay here any longer; The Remnant has already struck twice and almost hurt Fox and Krystal. I guess I'll take that ship that was promised to me and go back to Earth; it's the last place they would look...I hope." Fara put her hand on my shoulder. "I know you'll be fine," she said comfortingly, "You're going to do great things." "Thanks," I replied with a smile. Fara smiled back and pressed her lips against mine. Although I was taken by surprise I just relaxed and returned the kiss, wrestling my tongue with Fara's. Fara broke the kiss and started taking off her shirt; eager for what was to come, I began to undress as well. As I removed my last article of clothing, Fara was already naked and pushed me back on the bed. I scanned the vixen's body intently; she had an incredible body, almost identical to Krystal's. "You know what," Fara whispered, moving towards my crotch, "I've been waiting for this since the first day I saw you." Fara started to massage my sheathe gently, encouraging a few playful growls from me. The vixen's body had already started to arouse me, so the sensation of my sheathe getting rubbed was more than enough to get me fully erect. "You're as big as I remember," Fara said as she stroked the very tip of my cock. "What do you mean?" I asked between groans. "Well, when we were examining you, we had to take a semen sample. Although I used a machine to extract your semen, I still had to warm you up the old fashioned way. After the thorough examination of your body, I became a little...curious," Far whispered, licking over the length of my shaft. I moaned as Fara's tongue lashed over my sensitive flesh. "One night, I disabled the cameras in the room you were in and locked the doors. I was still a little shy, but after I got you hard I couldn't help but taste you." Fara paused to take another lick, causing me to shiver and moan. "After a while, I undressed, laid over you and played with myself like so," Fara said, moving on top of me, her hips directly above me. The vixen moved her hand down to her lower lips and started to tease her lips, giving me one hell of a show. "I don't know how many times I made you come, but after the second time you did something that scared the life out of me. While you were still unconscious, you grabbed my hips and started to lick me, albeit a little lazily. I had so much fun that night; I would've taken you inside me were it not for Razor Cougar's infiltration. When the alarms went off, I had to run down the hallways with half my clothes on." "Well, let me make it up to you," I whispered. I lifted my head up and gently licked Fara's nether lips. Fara moaned as I tickled her cunt with my tongue; the vixen retaliated by taking my entire length into her mouth and gently squeezing my balls. The two of us lay on the bed, gently licking each other and moaning in pleasure. I pressed my tongue deeper inside of Fara, tasting her sensitive flesh as she continued to suck on my cock with vigor. Without warning, Fara rose off of me and sat on my legs. "I can't take it anymore," she exclaimed, hovering over my cock. Fara slowly lowered herself onto my cock, taking my length with a happy groan. I held onto Fara's hips, gently lifting her up with slow thrusts. Fara moaned as she rode on top of my hips, her ass bouncing on my balls after each thrust. I groaned as I started thrusting harder, my orgasm quickly approaching. "Oh Nik," Fara cried as she came, her inner walls clenching around my cock as her hot juices flowed onto my thighs. I tensed up and moaned loudly as I came inside her hot pussy, my cum filling Fara to the brim. Fara bounced on top of me a little longer, milking me for all I was worth. Finally, the vixen lay on top of me, nuzzling into my neck. "That was wonderful," Fara sighed, "Krystal was right about you." I reached up and stroked the side of her face. "Tell me something," I whispered, "Aren't you afraid of me? I mean I don't know what could trigger a transformation, and I don't want to hurt you." Fara took my hand and kissed it. "Nik, I know you," she said softly, "You wouldn't hurt me or the others. You're a good person, and an amazing friend." I gave Fara a small kiss, grateful for her words. "Well, since you're leaving, I better have as much fun with you as possible." With that she rolled off of me and rose up on all fours, swaying her hips from side to side. It was going to be a long night.
The next day seemed to speed by as I prepared to depart from the Lylat System. The Cornerian Fleet had brought a yacht class stealth vessel christened the "Sonic Fox" in my honor. After Fox and his teammates loaded my ship with a few supplies and showed me how to work the ship, the six of us stood on the umbilical bridge that connected the Great Fox and the Sonic Fox. "Well, I guess this is it," I said. "It was good to meet you, Nik," Slippy said as he shook my hand. "Don't get in too much trouble," Falco said with high-five. Krystal came up and hugged me tightly. "Thanks for saving Fox and I." Fara walked up and kissed me on the cheek. "If you're ever in the Lylat System again, look me up," she whispered. Finally, Fox shook my hand firmly. "Good luck, Nik. If you ever need anything, we'll be here waiting for you." "Thanks for everything, guys; I'm going to miss you." I said, trying not to sound so sad. With a final wave, the Star Fox team made their way back onto their ship while I entered my own. I walked up into the cockpit and disengaged the umbilical bridge, listening to the ship power up. Taking the controls, I piloted the ship away from the fleet and focused on Earth. From out of nowhere, a blue vortex opened up and swallowed my ship. After a short trip, the tunnel opened up and I was now flying above Compass City. I engaged the stealth system and took the ship down to a spot I knew nobody would ever find me. With great care, I managed to land the ship in a cave near the special spot I would always visit before I was attacked by The Remnant. I stepped out of the ship and made my way to my special spot, gazing at the city's lights that shined in the night. So here I was once again, only this time I knew who I was. I would honor the life my mother and father lived, devoting my life to helping others. I knew The Remnant was waiting for me, and the wolf within me was waiting to be unleashed upon the city that treated me so poorly. I had to help those who needed it, all the while fighting of The Remnant and the angry wolf inside. Suddenly, I felt a small tingle in my markings; it felt like I was being pulled towards something. Someone needed help in another dimension. With a smile, I headed back to my ship; it was time to get to work. Star Fox characters belong to Nintendo. This is the end of the prequel chapters, which means I will now start writing in anybody who wants to star in a chapter.
