#2 of Party at the Mansion: Extras.

It's okay, I won't mind if you leave or click back. This story really doesn't have any SEX persay yet. In truth its about me and who I am. Lots of things have changed and somethings don't. I still feel most of the core inside me is unchanged just maybe tweaked a little. This is me writing a story about looking back on who I am, was, sorta. I hope those who read can understand me a little better.

(Please remember Catprowler wasn't always Catprowler. Also Catprowler is me in more ways than one. My story is drawn from my life and feelings taking both what I wish and what really happened and blending them together.)

I hope to have more finished soon and I did label this as half even though it might end up being only a third, or less. I decided to cut the story here so I can keep parts manageable in the hopes it makes for a better story.

Cavet parked his car in the twenty-third spot and turned of the ignition. He took a moment to rub his head in the silence trying to ease the pounding in his head. He hadn't felt good since that clumsy customer had knocked over the small display on their newest perfume. He counted himself lucky that only four of the boxes had started to leak by the time he got there to pick things up.

Cleanup had been easy just drop the eleven boxes on a tray and a quick wipe with a towel before moving himself to the back where he could figure out which ones to save. At least that was what he was trying to do instead he spent the next ten minutes carrying the tray around following behind the manager as she worked on figuring out who had put the new fragrance out on display. She had asked him to follow her around while she stopped to ask several employees. Cavet was beginning to think he was just here to help spread the scent through the store instead of finding the answer to who had set out the display as several customers were sniffing quietly around him causing him to twitch his tail more than usual. By the time he had sent the perfume boxes back the scent had left him with a strong headache and it felt like it was clinging to every part of his fur.

He climbed out of his car giving his tail a firm shake and used a paw to comb through the fur. It was a pain because it never seemed to fit anywhere when he drove. Recently he had taken to pulling it across his body and strapping it in with the harness since that made it easier on the days he allowed his co-workers to carpool. Cavet never rode in a carpool only drove one once or twice a week. For him it was always worrisome if he didn't have access to a vehicle. He had been ditched or abandoned on more than a few occasions but as long as he wasn't stranded as well that was fine with the squirrel.

Cavet took the three flights of stars to the second floor slowly deciding that it had been long enough and another dose of headache meds was called for. He unlocked the door to number twenty-three and went inside turning immediately into the kitchen for water and the bottle of Advil on the microwave.

"Sarah?" He asked after hearing a bump which he thought came from inside the bedroom of the apartment. He repeated her name again after moving through the living room to the open bedroom door.

"Alright Cavet you're home, good. I'll be ready in just a few minutes. Wait when did you change?" He took a step back from Sarah's over energetic attitude as she turned and faced him walking back towards the door.

"Aren't you supposed to be working?" He asked.

"I took half the day off. I need to get out and party. I don't really care where but I AM NOT in the mood for some candle lit table understand?" She sat back down at the little vanity he had moved in just two weeks ago. He watched as she sprayed a little glitter over her head and shoulders. The squirrel had to take a second look at the female ferret realizing that the cream dress that matched her fur was not his towel but a dress and not one he had seen before.

She looked good, really good as she turned towards him with a grin showing off all she was holding behind the tight fitting fabric as she pressed her breasts outwards. "You shouldn't have changed. You would look much better in a nice shirt and slacks." She told him.

Cavet gave a serious sigh aiming for the bed an sitting down. He hated pants with a passion and tight fitting dress shirts were almost as bad he hated feeling confined in any way. He had changed today right after work hoping to the loose fitting attire would help with his headache and maybe getting rid of the clothes that held the scent would help more. He needed the extra help since pants always made him feel excessively warm where shorts seemed to allow him to be cool.

"Give me a half hour and I'll get dressed." He said flopping backwards on the bed. His head was still pounding which made him miss the absolute stillness in the room.

"Cavet." She spoke after a minute getting nothing more than a little grunt in return. "It's been ten months now. It feels... I just need one night to get out and get plastered and let loose."

"I understand. Just give me a little bit. I feel like crap and if I don't feel any better later maybe you can get me drunk too." Sara gave a little growl and snort from the chair. She was ready NOW, and Cavet never got drunk nor even really drank. Three Smirnoffs was the most she ever got him to finish and he complained about a headache after the second.

No he'd never get drunk, never really party, and even though her life had been a disastrous mess he'd never be what she wanted. Cavet had not noticed the bag she had next to the vanity which was packed with a few days clothes. She had actually planned on being out of here nearly an hour ago but this would be fine. Sarah put a few last touches on her makeup, rechecked her hair, and without even a note or a word slipped out of the apartment.

Cavet had stopped at six of the local bars and drove further checking the four big clubs around town, after three hours he gave up grabbing one of his friends out of 'The PULSE' before he was kicked out or the police were called. After driving James back to his street, where he insisted on getting out, Cavet went home hoping his friend wouldn't end up in to much trouble before morning.

He stayed up until two a.m. hoping that Sarah would come back before he finally went to bed. There wasn't much he could really say or do since she was just sort of staying here. Their relationship was what he totally classified as complicated. She spent nearly every night at his house and in his bed except the few occasions she was over at a girlfriends but, she wouldn't yet say that she was living here or that they were or were going to be a couple. It wasn't like he was going to insist either, she had been through quite a lot and he promised himself to wait a full year before really trying to discuss the issue.

After a broken nights sleep Cavet got ready for work placing a call to 'Electric Stripes' before he left. He left a message for Sarah to please call when she got into work and let him know she was okay. Most of the morning passed pretty easily but by lunchtime he was starting to get a little worried. Even if Sarah had been hung over she still would have gotten to work by now or at least called in and they would have given her the message.

The first thing he did on his break was to make another call and was put on hold for a few minutes before Trish herself answered. "She really did it didn't she?" Cavet wasn't even able to speak a work of response before the zebra was blurting out, "Sorry baby I really hopped she wasn't serious but she asked me for her pay and left early yesterday as her last day."

"Left?" He asked confused.

"Listen you are my friend Cavet and I can't count the times you've been there for me so I have to tell you upright. You aren't the guy for her. All she wanted someone to screw her brains out."

Clearing his throat Cavet responded. "Well we have a relationship! We were sleeping in the same bed and we do.. stuff."

"You don't understand she didn't want to cuddle with your tail. She already lost that. All she wanted, really was a good pounding and orgasms to help block the pain she didn't want to deal with." Cavet was left holding the phone in a sort of daze. Their first time had been rough and lasted all night. He still could feel a shadow pain of the bite she had left in his shoulder that had been deep enough to have him thinking about going to a clinic or something days after.

It had been the first time in his life that he had called in sick without actually being ill. The only thing that made the whole crazed night okay was that she was in worse shape than him the next morning. After that he had always been careful, tender, and loving in the personal pleasure they shared.

"I see you get it now." Her voice called him back. Actually he didn't get it. Why, why would she still hold and snuggle with him if what she really wanted was something else? Hadn't he proven he could care for her and was willing to meet her needs. "Trish do y..."

"ELECTRIC!" She called out cutting him off.

"FINE, Electric do you know where she went?" He asked.

"Sorry Cavet I don't but, I promise to tell you if I hear anything alright? Listen it's time to strut a little I have to go but if you need to talk call me after the weekend." Cavet said goodbye and hung up the phone wondering what color pattern her white stripes were today before a wave of unhappiness stold those thoughts.

Sarah was gone and he had no clue where she went. Cavet went back to work after lunch still wondering if he should call her mother Ilene. Likely the older woman would laugh make some mean comment and hang up on him. Thankfully he had only met her once and had to deal with her for only a few days after she found out where her daughter was staying after the accident.

Ilene had spent an hour trying to get her daughter up and out of his bed stopping every few minutes to glare or make some horrible comment in his direction. Besides the fact he was a squirrel, five years older, and a male, Cavet had also learned after the first day why someone like him should have NEVER touched her daughter in the first place. Her thoughts hadn't changed much even after she found out that he hadn't done anything but hold and comfort her spending the last four days sleeping on his own couch. She did however stop making the rude sexual comments and changed to an assault on everything from his shoes to the generic hand soap he had in the bathroom.

When she finally realized she couldn't get Sarah up and couldn't figure out how to physically drag her daughter out of the apartment she decided to invite herself to stay. She spent the next four days as an unwanted guest and only left because she couldn't swing another day off work. That still hadn't stopped Cavet from having to answer the phone three to four times a day dealing with her attitude before handing the call off to Sarah.

Cavet had such trouble keeping his mind on working that two hours later in the afternoon the shift manager called him him back and spoke with him shortly before sending him home with the instructions that a few good shots ought to take the sting out of being dumped. The problem was as he sat on his own bed thinking, he had really hoped, even wished that Sara wanted this to be something more. It had been ten months tomorrow, he had memorized the day, since the accident.

Her brother had shown up at their house demanding a mens night out taking her fiancée. The best friends were to join up at a bar with several others and make a night of it while Sarah had left for a friends house to watch a movie and spend the night. Although they hadn't called it a Stag party Sarah had figured with their wedding a simple seven weeks away that the males would have some kind of party. She hadn't found out about the head-on collision until the next morning when her mother called finally getting a hold of her when she returned home. Seven people had died in the two vehicles including her fiancée, brother, and two more of their friends.

Two days later Cavet had come across the car that was partway sticking out of an alleyway but instead of honking or darting into the next lane he pulled around the corner and checked it out. He was never the kind of person to leave someone alone when they obviously needed help even when they told him to leave. By the time the police had shown up five minutes later he had convinced her to move to the passenger seat, learned her name, and where she lived. He was able to convince the tigress that he recognized the car and stopped to help Sarah out and would now drive her home.

Barely able to get more than half coherent answered and sobs she finally allowed Cavet to leave when the ferret insisted that she didn't want help. Later that evening after he had gone back to retrieve his car, the squirrel had Sarah cleaned up and fed since she would barely respond now unless coaxed. Working on simple compassion he crawled into her bed with her wrapping himself around her body from behind and curled his tail about her legs.

In the morning after a shriek and several screams he calmed her down by stating and showing that he was still wearing his clothes and so was she. Cavet made breakfast for them both and after making sure she finished hers he left leaving his phone number and getting her to promise to call if she needed anything. She had shown up at his apartment later that evening to cry on his shoulder. Now Cavet was the one crying as he remember the times that they had shared.

More than anything he tried to figure out what was wrong. Cavet always thought woman wanted a dependable, solid, and caring person. He hadn't even taken advantage of Sarah or anyone for that matter. He did his best to help those who needed it and always tried to be there for his friends. Sarah had been the fourth female that he had shared his body with. Of the other three only one had been what his grandfather would classify as a careless fling.

Waking up alone had been one of the worst mornings of his life. With out a note or a thought he had spent weeks wondering what had gone wrong. True he had only known Alexis for a week but his first time had been far more than anything he had imagined or heard of often leaving him a little aroused when he thought back to that night. The problem was his grandmother and grandfather had been quick to point out all the faults and potential dangers of such actions while again holding his mother up as an example of what a carefree sex life brought.

"Nice guys finish last." He quoted to himself, "AND wake up alone in the morning." He finished punching the bed next to him. Cavet gave several more punches and solid flat kicks to the floor trying to burn out some of his frustration and sorrow. After a bit more useless thrashing he was left wondering what to do next. His room now had a pretty flower quit top on the bed, two dressers against the wall, and the vanity near the door. That added to the items she had added here and there made it hard for him to keep his eyes dry. If the third time was the charm than he had struck out bad.

He couldn't stand it any more, finding his shoes he got them on and left the apartment letting his feet take him where ever they wanted. As it turned out his feet weren't interested in traveling to far from home as Cavet spent over an hour walking up a few blocks, over a few blocks, down a few blocks, back a few blocks, then turning in a new direction repeated the motion pacing out large rectangles from the different corners of his block. With his legs aching and his tail nearly dragging on the ground Cavet finally decided to head inside a bar that was just a block and a half up from where he lived.

The place was a lot larger than the outside front made it look like. A partisan stood a few feet inside prevented people from walking out onto a large dance floor making them choose to turn right and head to a long line of booths or turn left and move to the bar with its dozens of stools that seem to run the entire length of the building. The far back wall had bright neon signs in pink and blue. The pink stated MALES on the right where the blue on the left blazed LADIES. Cavet stared out over the wood floor that ran most of the building as well leaving a small area of tables and chairs in the far back.

Not for the first time he wondered if he should even bother as he turned left and headed for the bar. He hated the taste of alcohol and always seemed to get a serious headache well before he ended up with any sort of buzz. At least that is what he though since a pounding headache, was not what he was told would be associated with a slight drunk sensation, which usually started with the second drink.

His entrance and movement to the bar had caught every eye in the place whether he had realized it or not. It wasn't like there were more than a dozen other souls present at three-thirty on a Thursday afternoon. Still each and every eye in the place were trained on the tired depressed looking squirrel and its slow walk to the bartender.

"I have lots of stuff that can fix ya right up." The bat started flicking out his wings behind him, "But what is it that you really want?" He asked giving a little wink which Cavet had missed because he had closed his eyes.

"Anything strong that doesn't taste like alcohol." He spoke quietly.

Having that extra sense that most good bartenders seem to have the bat frowned slightly which he quickly put away. "There is no such thing as a magical drink to take you from sour to shitfaced in one gulp. I'd recommend shots or some hard liquor." Cavet just shrugged in response having no real experience to draw from when ordering drinks.

The bartender gave a quick look around the large room giving a small head shake at one one of his customers before he pulled a lime out setting it on a small cutting board. In a few seconds he had squeezed out a lime and vodka slipping a sliced piece of the fruit on the glasses rim. "Finish that and we'll hook you up with something else." The bat told him. He had almost grabbed the drink and walked away before he noticed the tap on the bar which had him take out a twenty and set it on the counter. "Take a seat I'll fill you up till it runs out."

Instead of taking a stool like he was expected too Cavet walked across the dance floor to the line of empty booths and chose one to sit down in. He tried not to gag at the first sour, bitter, and slight burning taste as it washed to the back of his mouth but at least the lime had masked some of the alcohol smell as he tried another sip. Not being able to suppress a shudder he stuck his tongue out for a moment and considered just leaving and heading home vs. staying.

Cavet took another sip pulling a hard face and kept his butt planted deciding here was better than home at the moment and as long as he stayed here trying not to gag he wasn't thinking about much else.

"You look like you need some help, or at least some company." Cavet could see the light tan shirt and a blue furred arm at the end of the booth. He gave another small sip before turning to see who it was and nearly ended up choking on the small amount of liquid.

He coughed several times trying to keep his eyes from bugging out at the fox. He was blue, light powdered blue, definitely 'THAT' color blue and the tight tank top must have fix closer that his fur leaving no doubt about what the fox would enjoy. "Are you alright or would you like a little company?" He spoke shifting as if to sit on the opposite side of the table.

"You can't, and I don't,... No." Cavet finally sputtered out trying to hold back another little cough.

"Well I though I would at least tell you you're very cute." The fox stated while smiling showing white teeth in a simple non threatening smile.

"And you're not!" Cavet spoke a little loudly. After staring at the fox for several more seconds and seeing that he still hadn't left the squirrel grabbed the glass and without thinking took a large swig feeling his mouth erupt with a sour flavor and alcohol taste. He had to open his mouth and suck in air shuddering from the taste of the drink not even really caring as the fox sat down in the bench across from him.

After gaining some semblance of normality Cavet felt like trying to growl at the smirking fox except he knew it was something that would sound pathetic. "If it's really that bad let me buy you something better." the fox offered.

Cavet quickly answered, "I don't need a drink."

The fox pursed his lips and blew out a half tuneless breath at the squirrel. "Just listen alright. You do need a drink, maybe a few dozen, and I know one you might even like but before I help you with that you should know something first." He waited until the squirrel stopped fidgeting. "This isn't just some bar, you're at the 'Fuzzy Tail'. One of the best and hottest dance spots in several cities and.... its a same gender friendly establishment." The fox paused just a moment for the effect, "That's Right GAY BAR!"

The squirrel sat there stunned for a moment while the fox continued, "So you have a choice, chug that down grab your tail and run or relax and hang out for a bit and I promise you, my promise, that no one here will push you farther than your willing. Tonight should be fairly tame anyway but I'll make sure someone is always keeping an eye on you."

Cavet did a once over on the bar gain thinking how different it felt with the knowledge even though it shouldn't, some how it did. "You're gonna say your straight right?" The fox asked while Cavet nodded. "Then let me just ask, have you ever hugged or held another male?"

Cavet gave a moments thought while shaking his head. But inside there was an awakening of sorts, he wanted friends, close friends who would hold him and still stick around. His mind did a quick rundown on all the rumors he had heard especially the ones that might seem true. Weren't guy guys always snuggling?

"Are you going to bolt for the door?" the question caught him off guard causing him to twitch a few times before he settled down. It was either here or go find another bar because right now he was not going back home. With another white toothed happy gleaming smile the fox reached out a paw across the table, "My names Danny."

"Cavet." He mumbled having to repeat himself louder when he took the fox's paw seeing the ears perk forward.

"Interesting." Danny said, "Can I offer you a drink?" With out even waiting for a reply he called out across the bar, "TONY! One, Quiet Moonlight Howl!" His words got a nod from the bat but seemed to make several of the other occupants turn and check out the fox and more importantly the squirrel sitting with him.

Cavet was again lost in his own thoughts when Danny interrupted him again. "So, Cavet care to tell me what's wrong?"

"Just a hard day." He answered quietly. The fox seemed content to wait for him to speak again so Cavet took another mouthful shuddering as he swallowed.

"Fuck! Would you stop that, its almost to painful to watch." The harsh word startled the squirrel and was just the reaction the fox was hoping for giving him an easy time swiping the drink away and pushing it to the far end of the table.

It was a quiet and compassionate voice that Danny used next. "Listen, you came in here looking like you just got run over, demanding a drink and trying to hide yourself in a corner. Whatever happened you need to try and let it go." Cavet was staring hard at his hands that was until the fox reached out and gripped his muzzle. He twitched once before going completely still as the other blue paw moved across his cheek for a moment. Danny worked on one side of the face before moving to the other trying to ruffle or at least hid the dried tear matted fur that help the squirrel look all the more pathetic.

"You know the rule." Tony spoke setting a rather large bowl shaped glass at the end of the table near the fox.

"Thanks Tony. This one I think will be well spent." He answered sliding the glass carefully across the table trying not to disturb the contents. Tony set the small shot glass with its light yellow contents on the table before he left.

"I hope it works out." He muttered as he walked away.

"Now relax Cavet, I gave you my word remember." Danny spoke trying to draw the squirrel's attention to the layers within the glass. The fox carefully picked up the shot glass and dribbled the yellow fluid over the surface before hunching down to watch the glass from the side waving the squirrel to do the same.

Cavet inspected each layer having never seen something like this before. The bottom of the glass had a thick brown layer settled on it followed by a wider light green layer that seemed to sit on top of it although there were wisps of green that were working their way upwards they seemed to stay towards the bottom. The center layer was a more opaque filling nearly half the total glass while the last layer was a cloudy milky white that was also just starting to break its way downward. As he watched the top color deepened gaining an off cream yellow like color, like clouds that were hiding the moon.

Just as Cavet was about to comment on the marvel of something so different, his tail was pulled his butt moved closer to the end of the bench with a painful yank. "Wow, hon, now THAT is a catch. You plan on sharing later?" He had to struggle to reclaim his tail yanking it across his lap nearly upsetting the glass if Danny's paws hadn't been there to protect it.

"Jax get lost NOW! Before I add a little red to that pretty wool coat of yours." the fox barked actually dragging his claws across the table to make his point. The ram took several steps back holding his arms across his body like he was trying to protect his middle.

"Whoa real rage there hon. It makes you looks so ugly." He spoke with a little tut. "Besides you would never touch this body." Cavet was still watching as the ram displayed himself. A black sheep sheered close with designs that were clipped all the way to the skin and painted white to add a sharp contrast. The ram was wearing nothing but a dark leather loincloth and had both horns filed down to disks that poked out of his forehead also painted white. "Looks like I have someones attention." Jax called with a little singing voice, turning sideways to shake his rear and stubby tail.

"Look again Jax and you'll find how little effect you have." Danny spoke still with a little growl. "Unless you have learned how to be a real lady I doubt he's interested." The ram stopped his body sway with his lips pursed carefully looking over the squirrel.

"Then what's with the drink? Hoping to confuse the poor boy?" He asked with a sudden grin.

"Sometimes it's just nice to be nice." Danny stated holding up a small red straw for the squirrel. "Start with the bottom." he suggested as the rodent took the plastic tube. Cavet dipped in parking the end at the bottom and taking a tentative slow sip realizing the thicker fluid didn't travel up the straw easily. He was surprised as the brown liquid finally washed over his tongue, the harsh bite of alcohol was greatly muted by a sweet and chocolate flavor. The squirrel quickly drew in more squishing it around in his mouth wondering exactly what it was. Both Danny and Jax were smiling at the squirrel's puzzled enjoyment.

"Tony makes them, one a week for each person who works here. He never give away a bit of his secret or what exactly he makes it out of." Danny told him.

"Honey you need to take just a sip off the top." Jax added in after the fox. Cavet tried not to gag quickly pulling back from the drink to take a breath. He had always had a problem with wine and hard liquor and the smell that came with it, always invading his nostrils and pallet long before the liquid splashed over his tongue. Taking a careful sip though proved it to have a much milder bite leaving a citrus flavor behind that seemed to out linger the alcohol.

Cavet gave a shrug before dipping back down to pull some of the dark sweet fluid off the bottom. "Go on try some other layers." Jax spoke sounding rather excited as he climbed into the next booth leaning over Danny's shoulders to watch the squirrel.

He pulled the straw back right to the middle of the glass taking a deep draw at the same time Danny shouted out waving, "WAIT!" Cavet's mouth burned along with his throat and nose as he tried to swallow. Gasping he ended up spitting out what was still left over onto the table as the fox once again had his paws over the drink to protect it. The squirrel took several minutes trying to recover glaring in between coughing spurts as Tony dropped a small glass of water at the end of the table.

Cavet was on it in a second rinsing down his mouth before trying to wash it down his throat. "You're supposed to mix it up before you get to the middle." Tony stated firmly flapping part of his wing while he glared at the other two with a good deal more malevolence than anything the rodent had been able to offer so far.

"Well hon I'll see you later." Jax stated giving a quick pat on the fox's head before quickly retreating.

"Sorry Cavet I should have told you first. I thought you were going to try the green layer next. It tastes a lot different." The look of near horror the rodent gave when he glanced back at the drink made the fox feel even worse. "Just sip the bottom if you want, I'll finish the rest."

Tony gave a small grunt with the statement sounding slightly irritated when he spoke. "The quiet howl is not for everyone. He should have kept his first drink."

"And what happened when his face freezes like that and he walks out of here with that look of disgust." Danny countered. Tony scoffed as he returned to the bar. "Cavet if you don't want to drink you don't have to but I would still like to ask why you're here. Your story was what I was going to ask for in return for the drink but now I still want to ask anyway."

Cavet stared at the glass giving the straw a short spin around the edge watching as the layers just started to blur. He wondered if he could even use the straw again feeling a slight burn seem to rise in his throat from the thought. "Why?" It wasn't that he really expected an answer he was just trying to stall for time and maybe an excuse.

"I would be very careful asking 'Why' around here, you're likely to get some very honest answers. For instance, Why don't you stand up." Danny asked sliding his legs off the end of the bench and facing the dance floor while motioning Cavet to stand. Although he was unsure what was going on he did move a few feet move a few feet out from the booth and stood waiting.

"Could you turn a circle?" Danny asked. The squirrel stepped to the side and began to turn suddenly seeing every single person watching him as he was moving. After finishing the turn he was flush and blushing with embarrassment trying to keep focused on Danny while his tail flicked behind him betraying his agitation.

Suddenly the fox was grinning beaconing him forward and had him turn so he could grip the fluffy appendage. "It's very soft and I really like the stripe. How much time do you spend on your tail?"

"I was every morning and brush it out." The squirrel responded quietly.

"And a good soap obviously but," His pause was enough to start making Cavet very uncomfortable as he could feel the fox picking his claws through the fur at the tip of his tail. Unable to take more he pulled his tail back and moved to sit back down. Still under the fox's watchful eye he pulled the glass close and aimed the straw at the bottom drinking a bit more of the dark fluid.

Cavet kept his chin tucked hoping that Danny hadn't seen the golden band their either. He knew most people assumed the golden stripe on his tail along with his cuffs at his writs and ankles was either a dye or paint meant to give a little more attention, something to make the squirrel stand out. The truth was Cavet often though about using dye to cover his natural marking. Given the right shading yellow could be gold and there was plenty of furs out there with such colors but Cavet had been taught from a very early age that he shouldn't parade or draw attention to his markings. What made him special also made him slightly ashamed, his grandparents had always accepted his gold bands but scolded him anytime they thought he was showing off.

"Its beautiful." Cavet shook his head in denial. "So soft and fluffy, I bet your able to please anyone you want with it." The comment left the squirrel puzzled and the fox's laugh was light and a little giddy and held a good deal of merriment. "You have heard of tail sex right?" Cavet's jaw dropped slightly, of course there was such a thing but, his tail? "I bet you could drive girls Nuts having it play between their legs and you could tease guys like crazy." He watched as the squirrel became more uncomfortable and embarrassed.

"I'm what they call a tail dancer, for many reasons, but one thing I know about is tails." Perhaps it was some part of the alcohol or probably the fact he had been somewhat sheltered when it came to anything but the 'normal' sexual interactions but Cavet said and did nothing to stop Danny as he began explaining with rather graphic detail how to use and apply tails. For a good twenty minutes the fox explained what could be done in public and in private, on both males and females.

He only stopped three times, twice to call out a greeting to someone who entered and a third watching the reaction when the squirrel took a timid sip off the green layer. "Don't go to far," He cautioned, "You'll want to save a little from each layer to stir up." The squirrel nodded as he continued to listen losing most of his embarrassment and filing information away that he was unsure he would ever use.

"Here ya go hon!" Jax called out interrupting them. He along with two canines were carrying out a shiny metal pole. As one of the dogs popped a cover out of the wooden floor the other two moved the metal into place. The pole was just over seven feet and didn't reach the taller ceiling until Jax twisted it and pulled it from the base. Cavet watched as the top raised several feet to fix into a hole in the ceiling and a ping sounded as pins locked it into place. As Jax pulled down again the outer sleeve moved back down until it was flush with the floor. "All set hon, if you want to give a special performance, or private lessons." The ram stated grinding up against the pole before jumping up a foot and wrapping a leg around and doing one slow spin around the pole.

Danny spoke quietly enough for just Cavet to hear. "He won't ever give up but just ask him to step back and he usually will." Cavet nodded with a grin on his face as the two black canines walked over to introduce themselves. He hadn't realized it at first the but two black labs were actually twins named Mat and Mit who seemed to be rather energetic constantly moving and wagging as they tried to keep the squirrels attention.

"Cavet what kind of name is that." One started before the other finished, "It's like something whispered through the trees." Mit felt the joke was good enough to poke his brother in the ribs. "Cavveettt eett eett." The squirrel winched and shook his head slowly.

Seeing the somber expression Danny reached out and spun the straw around the drink throughly mixing the concoction. Cavet was surprised to realize the glass seemed half empty now that he looked at it. With encouragement from all sides he gave a slow sip waiting for the horrible burn again. Instead it was a little sweet, minty, and citrus tasting before the sting of the alcohol started at the back of his mouth. It certainly wouldn't be his choice of drink but it seemed to make everyone happy as he took a second sip.

"So why don't you like your name?" Danny finally asked at the next pause. Cavet stopped studying the fox before looking over to the other two canines. Sensing he might finally crack the fox slide across the bench right to the wall allowing the brothers to hop in beside him.

"My mom was on you might call overly open, especially between the legs." It had taken Cavet years to craft that comment, one does not come right out and call your own mother a slut or whore. He felt it still left a small amount of respect he should give his mother while at the same time making sure to leave no doubt about who she was. "Having me was a serious inconvenience to her free lifestyle so she gave me to my grandparents and had a simple operation to make sure it didn't happen again. The only thing she gave me besides my name was the occasional toy or birthday card when she came for short visits. She passed when I was twelve and grandpa refused to tell me how or why." He took a long drink taking several swallows and not really tasting much. "Mom had no clue who the father was just another guy who she had spent several nights with. I can only guess she enjoyed herself. On my sixth birthday I finally tried to demand information on my father and all she told me was that she couldn't really remember if he had been driving a camaro or a corvette." The twins started snickering before he could continue.

"It didn't really matter she didn't know cars all she would likely see would be images out of the back seat. It still took me a few years to make the connection to my name." Cavet stopped looking to Mit and Mat to see if they would understand that too before closing his eyes and taking another long sip actually seeming to enjoy the after burn of the alcohol now.

Mit suddenly burst out with a short bark of a laugh before clamping both his paws over his muzzle stopping his mirth by biting one finger. "Your mom... she. Oh got that's harsh."

"You can laugh." Cavet informed the twins believing that Danny was already hiding his laughter behind that little smile.

"Am I missing something?" Mat finally asked still looking puzzled. His brother flicked his ears several times before looking over. "Really Mat? A camaro or corvette... CAVET." Although they both looked nearly exact it seemed that one didn't have quite the same brain power but he did finally put on a grin of understanding and a little snicker. "Ya it might all look the same from the back seat." Cavet just waited for the small giggle and grunts to pass that slowly escaped.

What ever was going to happen he simply let it pass leaning back against the booth seat relaxing. "Well sorry to break this up but maybe I should get ready." He spoke. Cavet watched as the trio changed up seats allowing the fox to get out.

"Maybe I should go home now." It wasn't very late, maybe a little after five almost six he figured.

"You're going to leave," Mit started while Mat quickly added on, "Just when we're getting started."

"It would be a shame if you left now and some how I get the feeling you don't want to be alone. Is there someone waiting at home?" Danny's words made him close his eyes bringing back everything he had manage to start forgetting. He jumped several inches off the seat surprised by the finger that had poked his nose. "Don't leave yet twitchy, another drink and you might find yourself enjoying the evening."

Cavet had to stop for a second to try and assess what was going on. It seemed a little different sitting here, he was kind of enjoying himself or at least he though he might be. "Am I drunk?" He asked the others seriously.

"Maybe a little buzzed twitchy but not drunk. I'll get us all a drink." Mat stated standing up and heading for the bar.

"Please stay Cavet I'd like to talk with you later." Danny spoke as he moved away his tail flicked out landing across the squirrel's arm. He stared as the blue fur then black tip as the appendage moved away following the fox. He was suddenly uncomfortable with the thought of the fox using his tail on him, after all he wasn't gay. It was a silent few minutes until Mat returned the squirrel at a loss unable to think of anything to say and he ended up finishing most of the glass he had before passing it over to exchange for the tall thin glass that had ice and a brown cola colored look. He watched as Mat downed the last of the howl in one gulp draining out the glass.

"I'll try not to be jealous. We've only gotten a few tastes never an actual Moonlight to ourselves." Mat told him.

"That's right hon, you are one lucky guy. I would never give up my howl for anyone." Jax suddenly appeared at the end of the table again. "So what's the dirty little secret you have on blue boy?" The ram crawled into the booth behind Cavet and was now trying to trace his ears as the squirrel hunched down and tried to flick them out of the way much to the delight of Jax.

Trying to force the issue like he was told Cavet finally sat back up. "Jax please stop!"

"Oh poo." He stared across the table at the twins with what seemed like irritation. "Alright then you want to be serious." Jax stated climbing back out of the booth, "I'll leave you alone tonight if you tell me why Danny was trying to cheer you up."

A roar with a squealing screech sounded distracting everyone at the table for a moment but Cavet continued to stare at the tiger that had stomped out onto the dance floor spinning a few circles with a small falcon at his shoulder. The squirrel continued to watch the pair for a moment as they spun together till the larger tiger dipped the bird down pressing his muzzle against the beak with a long deep tonged kiss. Cavet flinched with the harsh slap to the ass the cat gave the bird as he opened his mouth wide showing all his teeth and growling lightly. The bird stared up before dropping limp in the arms of the tiger.

"Cavet?" More voices suddenly brought him back to the table. "Maybe he really does like what he sees." Jax added in.

"I just wish I still had someone." Cavet replied quietly.

"Aaawww poor little squirrely gots dumped, mean old female told you to get lost? Move out? Vamoose?" Jax voice was now a taunt with out a trace of compassion.

"NO!... no, she left. No warning, no goodbye, just left it all behind with out even..." He trailed off. Not having anything else to do he grabbed the glass in front of him and took a big gulp bracing himself. The flavor rolled around his mouth; Tea, raspberry, alcohol. The first two making the third at least bearable.

"You know cutie, take my advice. Forget her, a few clothes and just a little work and you'd be H O T HOT! Little thing like you would have all the boys here drooling." Cavet hadn't been fast enough to move away as the blunt ram finger traced across his jaw causing Jax to giggle as he pulled away.

The next hour after Jax left was spent talking with the twins about his life and theirs watching as a few dozen more people started showing up and the occasional dancing of the feline/avian couple and others who now started on the floor with some background music. Danny did show back up in a rather provocative outfit of a black half top and black spandex shorts that came close to a full outline of his privates and a hole in the back that was three times larger than it needed to be for his tail. He did take several minutes off after hearing Cavet's story to six next him with a simple hug that did make him feel a whole lot better. He did have two more drinks somewhere along the way before they drug him out onto the dance floor.

Cavet was able to handle all of ten minutes before he was so upset that Danny had to rescue him. It wouldn't have been so bad for the squirrel except he was quickly surrounded by more than a dozen other bodies each trying to catch up the squirrel. He sat twitching in the booth with an extra flinch from each loud voice trying to call him back to the dance floor.

All of it was becoming to much for the squirrel who had never liked loud music in the first place and the volume seemed to keep going up. With hardly a word to the group that surrounded his booth Cavet slipped out of the booth and nearly had to push his way through before dashing to the door. He dodged around a small group of females that was entering and jumped outside. He stood a little way away from the door closing his eyes although he still seemed to feel the heavy throbbing pound of the music even though the building walls, even though it seemed it was barely heard on the street.

"Cavet, Cavet what's wrong." A voice asked him.

"Just leave me alone!" he cried back when he realized it was the lynx he had just met just a little while ago staring at him on the dance floor when it all started he stopped trying to push him away. "Please. I've had enough. I'm, I'm going home."

"You're not fit to drive. I can call you a cab if you will just wait here." The feline told him.

"NO. I'll be alright. I am walking." He stated firmly pointing down the street although he seemed to have trouble picking out exactly which building was his. Somehow mixed up he turned around. The squirrel tried reorienting himself taking a deep breath and looking around. With a more firmer finger he pointed across the street and down a block at them more familiar front of his apartment building.

"Can I walk you home?" The feline asked seeming more interested than the squirrel wanted. Both his body and hazed mind throwing out different mixed emotions. "Listen I owe Danny BIG time so I'll just walk you down the street alright. He asked me to catch you."

Cavet was actually glad for the company as he started down the street. His head was pounding to a beat that his ears could no longer hear and the several times he paused to squeeze his eyes shut there was a comforting paw on his shoulder or back. Plus there was the time he stumbled trying to get back onto the sidewalk after crossing the street and the trouble he seemed to have punching in his code to get the main door open. By the time he realized he was alone he was laying back in his couch with his shoes off and an empty glass of water in his hand that had helped him swallow the headache medication.

Cavet had almost gotten to work on time the next morning and if anyone noticed the three minutes they chose to keep quiet. A hangover was not something that he had experienced before but his own grandfather's work ethics kept him going. The rule was simple, if you could get out of bed than you could work. However if you were unable to get out of bed then you didn't have to work and could take the day off.

Actually the hangover was probably helpful in fact it made him concentrate on work, stocking different departments and helping where necessary. Cavet had been working at Lele Troi Department store for nearly seven years starting part time when he was in collage to earn a little money. He had been shifted around the entire store at first but after the month were more than half the employees had called out sick at some point, his part time became full time as the department supervisors realized he didn't say no when asked to work.

The only times he hadn't worked were his very few sick days and the month off he took to go home and spend the last few day with his grandmother before she died. He had stayed the extra weeks to help his grandfather out with both emotional support and help working out a new routine. Cavet had become the fill in extra for any department, normally he would restock returns and pull in back stock but with a bit of his own creative thinking he was usually called in to set up and take down displays. His creativeness also allowed him to find ways to fix shelves or broken containers taking them back for a few screws or readjusting. Now he was give a crack at most problems before management called for repairs.

The squirrel ended up volunteering to work an extra day on Saturday just because he now had nothing planned since his date was now nowhere to be found. It was Tuesday after work when he felt so bored he went for a walk again something he had started doing nearly daily. At the end of his first circuit Cavet eeped jumping forward several feet spinning to try and figure out who had yanked his tail up and smacked his ass. JAX!

The ram stood there holding his sides and laughing silently keeping his jaw clamped shut and huffing through his nose. After a few more seconds he spoke, "Nice to see your fluffy tail again hon. Anyway can I talk you into changing out of those baggy shorts? We have some tight black goodies back at the club. OR..." Jax paused walking close enough to make Cavet feel very uncomfortable, "maybe we can go back to your place and change."

"Please step back." Cavet asked stumbling backwards as the ram kept pace at less than half an arms length.

"Sure hon all you have to do is let me buy you one drink." He had stopped allowing Cavet to move back. Before he could even decide the ram quickly moved beside him grabbing one arm and guiding him back to the Fuzzy Tail. "Put that tail in a seat I'll be right back." He was told with a nudge to move the squirrel all the way to the back of the club while Jax went to the bar.

Cavet quickly found out that Danny wasn't working today but thankfully the crowd was small and aside from a few awkward pickup lines he was mostly left alone as Jax went and changed to serve for the night. It was well after dark but he had only taken a little of the three drinks that had been brought to him in the first few hours. By the time Cavet left he was refusing both company and drinks from anyone even to the point of ignoring Jax as he tried to catch the squirrel into conversation before he finally decided home was a better place to be.

Mostly he had just been burning up time that he would have used tromping down streets or watching his TV at home. The past few months as he grew closer and closer to Sarah had left him seeing less and less of several of his friends. Now it seemed all his co-workers and friends were busy more often than not and had little or no time to spare. He had even called Trish who only had a few minutes to talk with him before she told him that she was far to busy with her business right now to just hang out. The squirrel had tried hard for two days after the incident with Jax a little worried now to even go out walking. In fact the harder he looked the more he found his true friends were engaged in activities that took up much of their lives. Business, family, new families, and serious relations had Cavet feeling like he was left out or worse left behind.

After trying friends he left home that evening and found himself opening back up the door to the Fuzzy Tail. It had seemed fruitless with his regular friends so he hoped that maybe he could find just a few new ones and more than anything he was hoping to just talk with Danny again. After all a club was just a place to hang out and have fun, it didn't have to be all about sex did it.

The place already had a few dancers and people moving at the bar in the early evening as Cavet moved to the bar seeing Tony again behind the counter but at the far end. Not feeling like standing there alone he moved down the the walkway suddenly attracted to a long fluffy tail which flicked out and back drawing his full attention to the slender form and the thin tipped ears that twitched out over the head.

Acting off of pure fascination Cavet gently caught the tail and stroked down half of its near four foot length. He couldn't help shivering at the light hiss and the clawed paw that caught his arm that was near the tip of her tail. The female feline had one of the longest tails had seen and as she hissed and spat at him again he could see very long sharp teeth. Trying to think fast as she gripped his wrist even tighter he did the only thing he could think of at the moment, tell the truth.

"Its as beautiful as mine, maybe even better." He got it out slightly louder than a mumble that was just heard over the music as her long ears swiveled forward.

"Let GO!" She growled and Cavet immediately opened his paw as she pulled her tail back and snatched as his in the process. She had one paw almost painfully clenched around his tail before she let go of his wrist to make a soft pet down a short bit of his length. He got a half grunt as she let go and asked, "What do you want?"

Cavet's eyes were suddenly drawn to the very tall female bovine who had stood up behind the feline. If it weren't for the wrong shape of the head and the huge breasts he would have thought it was a very tall horse. The squirrel watched as the smaller feline raised a paw signaling for the other to sit back down and he could see that even seated the cow was taller than both of them. "Well?" the feline got his attention back with a very irritated tone.

"I, well.... Can I buy you a drink?" He finally finished pushing the words together. Her hand was far swifter than his own reactions as the paw closed latching onto his neck. As Cavet's eyes went wide and his tail began flapping faster than a flag in the wind as the female stepped in close.

"You may," Her voiced hissed quietly so just he could hear. Her eyes closed to slits and her lips peeled back revealing all the sharp teeth, "as long as I get to shove the glass down your throat afterwards." A small gurgle was probably his best response. She wasn't squeezing tight enough to cut his air supply but her whole body dominated the rodent. With a noise of disgust she shoved him back forcing him to move back several feet before Mit caught his shoulders.

The canine had been doing his best to dodge his way across the dance floor when he saw the scene. He was surprised the squirrel hadn't ended up with claw marks across his cheeks or worse huddled on the floor cradling his nuts. Reylene was well known to never allow a male to hit on her with out paying a price. The slightest hint of interest from a man was usually the beginning of a lot of pain and likely a great deal of humiliation.

"Just apologize Cavet." Mit whispered carefully in his ear.

"Puppie if this is some kind of joke, you're going to seriously regret it." The bovine had again stood but this time moved to stand next to her companion. Cavet could now see the black leather jacket had several spikes all over it and the front was laced tight together barely holding back the chest as the tall creature snorted sounding exactly like a bull ready to charge as the whole jacket strained at the seams. The gloved hand she rested on the feline was also adorned with several wicked looking spikes as Reylene crossed her arms glaring at the pair of them.

"Reylene!" Danny's bark sounded behind them as he hurried forward. "Don't think I won't have you and your friend tossed out if you start trouble. Mit take Cavet to a booth." He waved back at the canine. He had almost dragged the squirrel out onto the dance floor before he pulled away and turned around.

"I, I'm sorry.... You still have a very beautiful tail, and, and nice ears." He spoke out dropping his own before darting through the few dancers in his way that had paused to watch the scene leaving Mit to hurry behind him. He missed the little smirk on the felines muzzle but Danny didn't having walked around the pair to face them.

"I don't see a problem here, right?" The fox stated loudly as he waved to Tony who was now standing on the other side of the bar.

Reylene turned facing the bartender. "Two shots, and charge the squirrel. That way there's no problem."

"Oh no!" Danny interrupted, "This one is on me, I insist. Tony make it a double."

Cavet had already in crewed a little group with in minutes filling up the booth. He was pushed towards the wall as the twins squeezed in beside him. By the time Mit had informed him of how lucky he was everyone was inquiring what had happened.

"I'm surprised she didn't allow that big friend of hers to twist you into a pretzel." Ron stated interrupting the canine before he had even finished explaining. The slender hare sat shaking his head staring at the squirrel. The two had been introduced last week but Cavet had felt the weird lagomorph was just a bit to much to handle. Ears tucked crosswise against his head, three piercing on each side of his muzzle, and fur that seemed dirty just from the color. Besides something inside Cavet was echoing a warning at him every time he looked over and he had never ignored such feelings.

His comment was followed by a short round of stories and laughter about previous unfortunates that had come across Reylene. "Maybe he has a soft spot for tails." With that comment Alex reached his paws across the table catching both Cavet's paws with his holding them together. Out of all the people he had met the wolf was the only one who seemed sincere all the time. "Listen Cavet you're a really nice guy and I know your hoping to meet the right someone But," the squirrel listened expecting a bit of advice on how this was the wrong place to look or maybe even some info on where to look. Instead the wolf pulled his paws a little closer, "anytime you need a tail to hold take mine. I'm here for you and I can understand such urges." He was speaking so sincerely that it took Cavet a moment before he could pull his hands back blushing with full embarrassment as the table laughed and made jokes. Twice he tried getting in a few words before finally getting upset enough at the laughter that he stated loudly, "GUYS, stop. It wasn't the tail."

There were several around the table that seemed more than a little upset over his word, not because they were making to much fun of him and they gave the squirrel a few hard glares as he sat there. Danny who had come up to the table setting down a serving tray began passing out drinks. "Cavet call them friends, fellows, furs, fruits, or faggots but you will find 'guys' is a term we try to avoid here. If it helps just say everyone. One water with lemon." he spoke setting the glass in front of Cavet. "You're paying for your own drinks now so just let me know if you want something and make sure you save some time for us to talk while I'm on break." The fox turned making a slow loop and flick with his tail that showed his entire rear and pink pucker through the hole in his shorts as he moved away from the group.

The music picked up to a fast techno beat and both Ron and another next to him tried to get Cavet to agree to a dance before the pair excused themselves to go have a shake. As they left the twins were having a whispered conversation which broke off as both turned to stare at the squirrel. He became uncomfortable as booth labs kept watching him, Mat looking over his brothers shoulder while Mit began poking his arm several times.

"It's cats isn't it. You have a pred complex and go after felines right?" Cavet shrugged trying to take a few sips of water. "It's alright Cavet you can let us know." Mat added on to his brothers words. "Cavet likes CATS. It's purrrfect." he said teasing.

After nearly a minute of silence from the table and several more jabs from the lab he finally half shouted out, "What!!"

"Admit it you like cats, kitty cats, growly cats, mean kitties who want to claw your face off." Mit stated while in the background Mate was chanting, "Cavet likes Cats, Cavet likes Cats, Cavet likes Cats." Giving his brother a little nudge Mit continued, "Tell the truth, you said it wasn't about the tail but really it was. The tail and the kitty ears."

Cavet sighed and gave a little nod. To him felines were all about grace of movement and smooth flexibility. He didn't even care a whit about the claws or the fact ancient genetics states he would be food. He was so envious of the smooth grace, even the lash of an angry tail was so much better than his own jerky movements. Sure he could be smooth when he got going, movement was easy once you started but he always felt himself clumsy in comparison. Still he had admitted to himself long ago that it did go far beyond that. The few times he had sought out porn there was always a feline hinted in it. The short videos of the male slowly dominated the female till the pair were coming together amidst yowls and screams. The picture files were just as bad, near impossible positions that sometimes made him think that some felines were made partly out of rubber.

"Cavet, CAT!" Alex said snapping his fingers across the table at the squirrel who had zoned out. "So what's your dream girl?"

Cave instantly thought back to his first year of Jr. High and the one girl he had almost kissed. Allison had been sleek and trim, almost to thin, and fast. They had often raced home from the bus stop and she always beat him to the corner where they split ways. Allison had bright emerald eyes that seemed to dominate her entire head leaving her light gray fur pattern unnoticed. Cavet though had noticed, the fur on the top of her head was darker starting just above the eyes and running down her neck and he guessed down her back. You wouldn't really notice it unless you compared the fur with the rest of her body. He had noticed because when they raced she always lifted a hand to shade her eyes looking back the half mile to the bus stop trying to look for him and keep a straight face as he panted next to her. It hadn't taken him long to realize her paw was the slightest shade lighter than her head. Her paw was the same color fur as the rest of her body fur he had seen with the exception of her tail. Allison was gray all over except her tail which darkened along the way to a solid black which fluffed out on the end leaving the impression of a small black ball attached to the end of a sleek and limber tail.

She had been his first female in so many of the young boys milestones; his first real non gross female friend, his first crush, his first flash of panties, his first hand hold. She should have been his first kiss if his grandfather hadn't rumbled past in the pickup screeching to a halt, horn blaring as they had held paws on the corner leaning in with muzzles aimed to touch.

The young squirrel had been so startled he jumped back while at the same time clamped his hand around one of her paws. The action had almost pulled Allison off her feet while his grandfather shouts ordered him to get into the truck. She had proven how swift she was dashing down the side road to home before he even slammed the truck door.

The next week plus had been filled with long conversations explaining to the near teen about everything from how wrong his mothers actions were to proper choices for reproduction purposes. Both his grandparents had been upset when they learned the pair had been holding hands home the entire week. That caused one of them to start showing up at the bus stop for weeks either driving or walking home with him.

The extra attention was reason for the others to quietly tease him and it made sure Allison wanted nothing more to do with him. Finally with his promise Cavet was allowed to walk home alone but he was never able to regain a closeness to Allison always watching her from behind since he couldn't see her if he walked in front.

That was probably part of the main problem for Cavet, there was always the attraction to feline but he was never able to get close enough to explore that option. Again the snapping brought him back to the small group of males intently watching him. "It's like he's love struck, with no lover." Samuel a rather small human had been sitting squeezed right next to the wall across from Cavet. He had been quiet except for the odd joke or comment.

"No it's just sad and pathetic. Cavet listen I am totally serious you need to take some control and be in charge. We can go in the back right now, you can take me how ever you want. I'll even get us some of Ryan's toys." Alex told him. The squirrel wasn't sure what was happening only that he was struggling as the collective group pulled him from the booth. Their jostling hand his thrashing ended up tripping up Mit who stumbled backwards before he fell onto the dance floor nearly knocking over someone else and interrupting several dancer's moves.

Mat was preventing him from sitting back down but on one expected him to bolt for the front door. Cavet wasn't exactly sure what was going to happen or maybe he did deep inside, either way it was not something he was ready to face. He was stopped after turning the corner by the large bovine who glared him down with her hand on the door blasting out a snort at him before pushing her way out. Her body moved revealing the feline hybrid behind and Cavet checked himself again lowering his ears and tail seeing her glare. Her expression changed into a little smirking grin as his reaction. He watched as she turned further than she needed to when she left allowing her rear to stick out and her tail to make several lazy waves before the long appendage slipped outside.

He was still watching the closed door when Danny poked his shoulder leaning over the partition. "We need to talk." The fox half shouted at him crooking a finger to follow before pointing towards the back of the establishment. Cavet couldn't help a quick glance at the door before look back at the fox who was shaking his head. Danny beaconed again before he turned to the isle and headed towards the back. The squirrel slowly followed for no other reason than he had started considering the blue fox a friend who had done nothing but try to be nice to him.

He could see the booth was packed and several more bodies were perched on the benches of both sides all watching him as he walked. Cavet stepped a little faster concentrating on the black tip of the waving blue tail a dozen or so feet ahead. He listened but heard nothing but music as he passed the booth feeling every single head pivot with his passage. At the moment he thought he was safely past a cry from several voices made him jump. It wasn't until it became a chant did he understand the word. "Prowler, Prowler, Prowler."

Cavet wished more than anything that Danny would turn around and silence the group but the fox simply kept moving past the dance floor and to the back wall. It wasn't until Danny opened a door along the back wall did the squirrel realize that there were three other doors at the back besides the restrooms. Each was painted to blend in with the color scheme of the wall making them nearly invisible in the dim light until you looked for them.

He caught the door and followed the fox down a hallway hearing the noise cut in half when the door closed behind him. The walkway came to a 'T' and he realized the building must be as deep as the block as the new hallway showed a row of half a dozen doors leading even further back. Danny turned right and went to the last door opening it and slipping inside. The squirrel was right behind but stopped dead only a foot or so into the room as the blue fox walked to the back and sat down on a large bed that must have been twice the size of an average king.

Danny watched the squirrel twitch for a few seconds before he spoke, "Close the door and don't worry about locking it, we're only going to talk." Slowly Cavet stepped into the room allowing the door to swing close and click. With a sigh that sounded full of relief the other pulled his legs up and rolled twice stopping on his back and stretched out. "I don't have a lot of time so why don't you start by telling me why they were all shouting prowler and what is going on. You can also tell me why you came back." He added on.

After nearly a minute Danny rolled to his side looking irritated at the squirrel. "CAVET!" He barked, "Take a seat I'm not going to do anything. I'm a bottom so nothing happens unless you start it." As the squirrel moved slowly he asked. "Do you even know what a bottom means?" Seeing the head shake he quickly explained top and bottom and other things in between, putting out several slang words knowing he was covering stuff they had already spoken of before Cavet interrupted.

"So you want me to have sex with you?" He asked quietly after listening long enough.

The fox gave a half grunt shaking his head, "You're nearly hopeless. You don't realize nearly everyone here thinks you'll bottom. They want to grab your tail and ride your cute ass. Marcus has already asked me if you are interested in a job. He probably thinks I'm in here now trying to convince you." Danny burst out laughing at the stunned expression on the rodents face. "The bar is called the Fuzzy Tail for many reasons but one is nearly everyone who works here has a good tail and knows how to use it. Reylene even worked her for a whole week before she was fired." Cavet was still to surprised to realize the fox was moving across the bed until he was grabbed and pulled backwards. Danny pulled the squirrel in close maneuvering him to a laying position next to him snuggling close even with the squirrels struggles and protests.

"Danny stop I don't...." The blue paw stopped any further words. "Cavet relax. You don't know enough to even show me half of a good time. At best it might be amusing to watch you blow a load but not much fun." After a pause the squirrel jumped as his name was called. "Cavet!! It's like some horribly twisted joke when you realize who's inside." As the arms held him tight Cavet couldn't help to relax into them and return the gesture when the blue tail curled around his middle squeezing him as well. "Why did you come back?"

"I don't know." Cavet started realizing how stupid that sounded, "I guess I have no where else to go but home. Everyone I know seems busy or has other interests."

Danny continued holding him. "You're not going to find what you're looking for here. Sooner or later someone is going to pull you back here. They may hold you tight whisper sweet words but their only going to be interested in your rear."

"What about you?" Cavet asked.

The fox held him tight preventing him from turning. "Cat you need to stop being so helpless. Quit trying to help people and look after yourself." He could feel the squirrel go completely stiff with the name. "Cat, yes that does sound so much better than Cavet. Now if we can just get you to act a little more feline we might find a whole new you."

Suddenly the door burst open with a whole hail of barks as both a feral dobermin and its antro counter part rushed into the room on all four paws. Both stopped at the end of their leads staring at the bed and its occupants. "Relax." Danny whispered to the quivering squirrel as the feral canine began a deep threatening growl.
