This story involves automail and alchemy, so you can call it a crossover with Fullmetal Alchemist

Hiccup H. Haddock III: a teenage Viking boy with a special ability of taming dragons by touching them, in this story, he invented the Fireworm Bracelets and the first Philosopher Transmutation(which broke WaveMark(OC)'s curse so she can finally confess her love to Toothless without her own body ruining everything), he also created the first automail(false limbs that could actually pick up brain signal) for his leg.
Toothless NightFury: an adolescent dragon with an automail tail fin and teeth too short for his species, in this story, he became anthro though regaining dragon alchemy, aka magic. He knew WaveMark was in love with him but couldn't make it official because WaveMark's curse prevent her from confessing her love, and without the female's confess, the couple could not became mates for life(because of the Constitution of the Dragon Empire, and the fact that I love trolling story characters) . He pretend to have a cruel personality but could not stand crying.
CloudJumper: an adult dragon, Toothless's mother, able to perform air-related dragon alchemy, ScreamingDeath's mate. Seems to know the story behind the unknown caster of WaveMark's curse, have eight wings( shoulder, back, rear, tail).
ScreamingDeath: an adult outcast dragon, Toothless's father(who think of him as useless because Toothless's relationship with Hiccup), CloudJumper's mate, is actually a Homunculus dragon created by Dagur.

WaveMark: an adolescent dragon, born with a curse that causes her stomach to swell followed with dramatic pain and discomfort whenever she tries to confess her love. The cause of this curse was because her mother never confessed her love to her true love, who's actually not WaveMark's father. She was named WaveMark because of the marking all over her caused by the curse, she is an albino Night Fury.
SeaWind: a dragon with unknown age randomly appearing and helping Toothless and WaveMark to defeat Envy(a Homunculus serpent who somehow traveled from the future to destroy alchemy after the Portal of Truth, the only way for him/her to return to where he/she belong, was destroyed, even if it means his/her death). He somehow knows what is going to happen next from a book-like object he called"The Script of the World", he somehow is a blue Night Fury and knows all the forms of Dragon Alchemy
