THE SECRET ADVENTURES OF TAILS PROWER

~~~Chapter Two: Forbidden Love and Forsaken Phantoms~~~

Two days after the Prower twins first shared their bodies with one another. Tails and Sarah were still enjoying their secret relationship. The secret had to be kept hidden from every one else at all costs. Though they continually risked getting caught as the two pursued their sexual relationship ever so often.

After several hours of assisting Sonic in gathering firewood, Tails landed on his front porch of his own hut while his spinning tails from behind slowed to the usual flicking. He raced inside excitedly expecting Sarah. Yet she was not there. He figured she was still helping Sally and Bunny in finishing off those shelters. It was dusk and he decided to step into the shower while he waited for Sarah to return to his hut, although he probably needed a shower any way, especially after all that hard labour.

Tails released the water from the showerhead and began scrubbing away at his fur by the time Sarah stepped through the front door. Hearing the water running, Sarah smiled mischievously, as she knew exactly where Tails was. Her supple body slipped out of her poncho and belt robes with ease, before heading towards the shower room with her tail swaying seductively behind.

Sarah snuck up behind Tails before she slid her left paw under his left arm and continued until half way up his chest fur. Her right paw simply wrapped around and covered the other half of his chest. "Tails." She said softly before closing her eyes and resting upon him.

Tails was still facing the other way, yet he acknowledged her by stroking the back of her head with one paw while he scrubbed and massaged the side of her thigh with the other. Water trickled over both of them as they comforted each other in the shower for several minutes.

Tails finally spun to face Sarah so he could give her a brief, enticing kiss before emitting the words, "I missed you all day long."

Sarah giggled and cheekily replied, "I missed you more."

"I think I missed you way more."

Sarah didn't bother to give a vocal reply as she advanced to tickle Tails before he could even react. "Hey! No fair!" He chuckled.

"I love and miss you more Tails!"

Tails was about to continue the argument before he slipped on the slick floor and pulled Sarah on top of him. "Ow."

"Silly Tails." Sarah giggled.

"Let's go dry ourselves before we get hurt."

Sarah gave Tails a quick kiss before sitting up and walking over to where the towels were located. He soon followed her after shutting off the running water from the showerhead.

The twins began to dry each other off as their fur still dripped wet and was completely saturated. They took turns in wrapping a towel around one another before their fur transformed from damp to fluffy. She laughed at him, as Tails looked funny as he emerged as a fluff ball, but he was unimpressed with his fluffy fur and tickled her in retaliation. Once they finished joking around and were nice and dry, they wrapped the towel around them both.

Tails smiled at Sarah as they were pressed against each other while inside the towel and had put their arms around, to embrace into an intimate hug. Sweet kisses followed, as they couldn't resist from being any less intimate. Tails suddenly broke off the kissing and Sarah stared at him with wanting and confused eyes. "Sally will be here soon. We better go to bed."

The twins were all dressed up and hopped into their separate beds by the time Sally step inside of Tails' hut. Finding them both in bed so early created suspicion for Sally, as they seemed a little too well behaved, especially Tails. Sally tucked the twins in, extinguished the lights and simply said, "Good night you two. Sweet dreams."

In unison the twins replied innocently, "Good night Aunt Sally!"

Chuckles and giggles could be heard from the hut once Sally was nowhere to be seen.

It was only five minutes of lying in darkness before one of the twins spoke. "Tails." Sarah called out, "I'm cold."

Tails smirked because he knew exactly what Sarah meant by that. He hopped out of his bed and snuck over to hers before silently sliding under the bed covers with her. He curled around the back of her with his arms and after getting comfortable as possible; he then began to kiss her along the neck and shoulders.

This didn't continue for long since the foxes had been kept apart for almost the entire day, which seemed like an eternity for them and the built up need for each other was tremendous! The twins exposed their bodies to each other under the bed covers as they stuffed their clothing down to the foot of the bed. During the movements and frenzied friction between the two, Tails' shaft slowly became erect and Sarah was in heat.

Tails responded in a slight whimper of a tone, "Any thing for you, Sarah. I'll never stop loving you."

The two shared another loving kiss and no longer showed any shyness towards each other. Tails wrapped his arms around Sarah's supple body and placed his paws firmly on her lower belly fur before she placed her paws over his. Not wasting any time, he softly pushed his shaft upward between her thighs.

Sarah's tail was half wound around Tails' shaft before it snaked between his legs and entangled with his two tails as she panted while awaiting him to penetrate her once again. His shaft was wedged up against her entrance before he pulled her down onto him. Sarah gasped as she was impaled. Early next morning arrived in a blink of an eye during the sibling's slumber. Sally burst in through Tails' door way and looked as if she was about to say some thing important before seeing the Prower twins together, under the covers of the same bed. She cocked an eyebrow before inquiring with a surprised tone, "Tails?! Why are you in Sarah's bed?"

The twins both woke up at the same time after hearing Sally's voice. Tails was in a daze before realising to his own shock and horror that he was still in Sarah's bed with Sally staring at them both. Tails was about to explain to Sally until Sarah quickly spoke out, "He was just keeping me warm cause I was freezing last night."

Sally's suspicion was not extinguished by the excuse she was given, but with more important matters needed to be addressed: she let it go for now.

Glancing at the two siblings while speechless for a moment before looking back at Tails and breaking the silence, "Tails dear. Sonic asked me to come tell you that he needs you to go to the oldest tree outside of Knothole. He said it was very important but doesn't know what to make of it. That's where he needs you to help him figure out what ever it is he has found."

Tails nodded and quickly blurted as if he wanted to get rid of Sally as soon as possible, "Okay Aunt Sally. Tell Sonic I'll be right there!"

"I'm making a big breakfast for us all once you get back Tails. Don't let Sonic keep you too long."

Tails nodded and Sally walked out the door before disappearing out of view from the Prower twins. "Phew. That was close." Tails sighed.

"Do you think Aunt Sally believed us?"

"I don't know Sarah. She's pretty good at catching out liars. But I better find out what Sonic wants. I'll be back soon." Tails then gave a goodbye kiss to her before putting his shoes and gloves on. It was only a few seconds before Tails was out the door and spun his tails to propel him at maximum speeds.

Sally saw Tails speed off into the distance while walking back to her hut. Bunny was the next to pass her by and went to call her over. The two friends said 'good morning' to each other before discussing the latest. It wasn't long before Sally mentioned some thing about Tails to Bunny, "Bunny. Do you think Tails and his twin sister, Sarah, are involved?" Receiving a strange look from Bunny as she continued, "I found them in bed together earlier but they claimed it was for an innocent reason."

Bunny simply giggled before replying, "Sugar. I don't even think Tails knows how to have sex. He's not that old or experienced. You know what I mean?"

"Maybe you're right Bunny. Maybe it's just me over-reacting because I feel so protective of Tails."

"No need to worry. You're thinking of his best interests. That's what matters."

Sonic stood waiting at the old tree, near the forest's edge and not far from Knothole. Tapping away his foot with arms crossed and muttered to himself, "Man, where is he? I could have juiced back and forth to Knothole several times during the time I've waited!"

Peering into the distance, Sonic saw a faint orange fur ball bouncing off trees before spin dashing towards him. It was only two seconds flat before Tails arrived right in front of him.

"About time Tails!"

"Sorry Sonic, I kinda slept in."

"No problem little guy."

"So what is it you wanted me to do?"

Sonic pointed to the patch of sky between the trees. Tails looked up through the patch to notice a faint smoke trail passing through. Sonic pointed once more at a junk pile at his feet, with special markings on the pieces of broken metal.

"I found one of these patrol bots around here. I figured it might have been a renegade from Robutnik's destroyed army, except he was tougher than what I expected from the usual SWAT bot I've encountered. I finished him off no problem though!"

"Sonic, What about the smoke in the sky?"

"That's why I need you here Tails. You see. I could juice all the way to the forest's edge to see the source. Buuuut that could lead what ever is there to Knothole."

"So I guess you want me to climb up the oldest tree, fly up and see what's causing the smoke?"

"You got it little bro!"

Tails nodded in acknowledgement to Sonic before looking up at the tree he had to climb. Jumping up from branch to branch until he reached the top. Once at the top of the oldest tree, Tails could make out what direction the smoke originated from and focused his sight towards that direction. Letting out a shout of surprised as strong winds passed by him, which almost knocked him off the tree. Fighting the wind before it calmed down once again, he twirled his tails and flew as high as he could go.

Meanwhile back at Tails' hut in Knothole. Sarah decided she would get out of bed and get dressed before either Sally or Tails returned. Pulling out her clothes from under her bed covers, she slipped and tied them all accordingly. She felt around her lower belly where Tails had his loving grip upon her. It had only been ten minutes before she already missed his touch. She sighed before sitting back on the edge of her bed. Reaching underneath her bed, she pulled out a green emerald that was big enough to fit in the palm of her hand.

Flashing back to Sarah was the memory of how she obtained this rare and delightful gem. During the hours she spent looking for Tails: she stumbled upon the sparkling gem right before two of those strangely marked bots fired upon her. Taking off with the gem, she ran as fast as she could until she could run no more. Hiding it in a hollow tree outside Knothole before continuing her search for her twin brother. It was only after her encounter with Tails, did she go and retrieve the emerald before stashing it away under her bed in Tails' hut, as she didn't think it would have been a good idea to show any one of her rare find.

Tails finally reached his maximum height in which he was able to hold only for a few seconds. While at his peak he saw beyond the forest edge, he saw the origin of the smoke and he saw the sea of metal. Tails didn't even have time to contemplate what he just saw as a strong gust of wind blew him uncontrollably off course until he began to fall towards the ground. Two bot gliders flew overhead as he fell through the trees and was about to hit the ground before Sonic rushed by at the speed of sound to break his fall. Sonic was knocked to the ground but shook off his disorientation as he questioned Tails, "Tails. What did you see?"

Tails was even more out of it than Sonic from his fall, but managed to comment, "Bots. There are lots of them. You think Robotnik is back, Sonic?"

"No way. Me and Sally finished him off for good."

"I don't know. We must warn Knothole. We better hurry."

"Let's juice and jam then!"

Back at Tails' hut, Sarah was still toying with the pretty emerald. She stood up and walked across the room juggling it in her hands. Then it suddenly started glowing in its greenish colour. Sarah dropped the emerald accidentally as she was startled, as the mysterious effects of the emerald only started showing now. While picking the emerald back up, she wondered if there would be any more surprises this emerald had yet to show. While she was studying the emerald still, a paw was placed upon her shoulder, she exclaimed in a joyful tone, "Tails!" Before turning around.

Sally went to greet Sonic as he returned to Knothole village. Her joyful facial expression turned into a concerned one once she saw Sonic's facial expression, "Sonic. What's wrong?"

"Sally. Get Bunny, Anton and the others. We gotta juice before it's too late!"

"Slow down! What's happening?"

"An army of enhanced SWAT bots are heading this way."

"Robotnik is back?!"

"We'll find out soon enough. But now we must get every one outta 'ere!"

"Where's Tails?"

"He's gone to his hut to go get his sister."

Tails flew over to his doorstep before landing with a quick motion inside his hut. Running into the bedroom, he yelled out, "Sarah. We have to leave!"

Looking around, he didn't see Sarah at all. Shortly after he entered the room, Sally appeared from behind him and concernedly asked, "Tails, where is your sister? There's no time to waste!"

"Heeelp! Tails! Some one!" Sarah screamed from the next room.

Both Sally and Tails dashed into the next room to be shocked of what they saw before them. Tails had to rub his eyes to make sure he wasn't seeing things.

Sarah with a distressed look, stood holding the green emerald while a black, furred arm was wrapped around her neck collar and a knife held to her throat. Attached to the black, furred arms was a shadowy, two-tailed fox. The fox appeared to be black in colour all over his body, save the tips of his ears, tails and stomach; which were all coloured white. He seemed to be the spitting image of tails except his colour and this particular fox had an evil display across his face with a voice to match, "Stay back. All of you!"

"Leave her alone!" Shouted Tails.

The black fox laughed before making a comment with a sneer, "Oh. I was only after the Chaos Emerald she held. But you show great interest in her. I might take her as well, since you so strongly insist."

Sally snapped at the creature who appeared to be nothing but rude, "Who are you?!"

"Who I am is none of your concern, princess. However your father knows. Too bad he's stuck in the void. Old fool."

Sally showed more signs of anger that no one had seen before, "How dare you!"

"Silence! I have served my pointless life in the void long enough. Now is the age of my retribution!"

Tails' patience quickly ran out with look the alike of him and he charged towards the black fox. He spun in the air and attempted to knock him out with his tails, but the black fox snarled, "Stay back I said!"

Before Tails was able to land a hit, the black fox grabbed the emerald out of Sarah's hand, emitted a shockwave that threw Tails back and left him unconscious upon the wooden floorboards.

"Tails!" Both Sarah and Sally called out.

The black fox commented with a twisted smile, "I hope he enjoys his ever lasting rest. Because he will soon cease to exist, along with this pathetic excuse of a village."

Holding the top of Emerald and facing his palm to the floor in the direction of Sally. The black fox glanced around the room once before speaking, "Well. Since there is nothing of interest left around here. I bid you farewell. Forever."

Tails shakily reached out his hand towards his love before groaning her name before collapsing, "Sarah..."

"CHAOS CONTROL!" Said the black fox before he and vixen disappeared in a green flash of light.

High up in the upper atmosphere of Mobius, directly above Knothole, hovered one of Robotnik's reconstructed orbital ships, attached to what was called 'The Pillar of Doom' device. The bridge of the ship was quiet with the exception of the vacant machines at their stations. Suddenly a green flash of light appeared and the form of the black fox and vixen followed. Immediately the black fox threw the vixen against a wall that instantly surrounded her with a shielding device to create a makeshift cell. The black fox sheathed his knife before turning towards one of the strangely marked bots, "You may fire when ready."

The soulless machine acknowledge his request and vocally executed the command, "Targeting: 'Knothole'. Firing particle beam in 5... 4... 3..."

Sarah started thumping her fists against the shield that imprisoned her as the count down to the destruction of Knothole proceeded.

"2...1...Firing..."

Sarah slumped against the wall as tears of sadness crawled down her cheeks upon hearing the beginning of Knothole's end was imminent.

The belly of the orbital ship was blotted out as a bright, blue light grew in size. A ball of the bright, blue energy formed until it was discharged into a narrow pillar of light that descended to the surface of Mobius. The pillar of light struck Knothole, caused all it's surroundings to be silent for a moment until the discharge travelled down the pillar of light and reached its target. The village instantly vaporised and all who remained in the particle beam's destructive path would share the same fate.
