Stopping for a moment she looked over at the panda and asked, "Is this ok?"Giggling at the mouse happily Zoe replied, "it's perfect Cecily, as long as I have the moose face back there with me I don't give a damn who knows or what the fuck they think about it."Hopping off daisy's lap the mouse waits for them all the get out of the car. before walking through the door and up to the Hostess podium. Standing on her toes and looking up ad the young lady she says, "Dark Riders party of six."The three teens with her looked to each other confused, seating for six and there being only four of them not seeming to make sense. Grabbing a few menues the Hostess asked, "Do you need any booster seats or childrens menus?""No thank you." As the hostess led them into the dining area Cecily shot past the woman as the sight of the liger came into view., nearly shouting , "Lilly!"Opening her arms wide to catch the mouse, Lilliana returned a, "Squeaky!" Pushing her back a moment she asked, "have a good day so far?" the mouse nodded her head, before the liger looked at the rest of the group. "Where'd the bunny go?", she asked.Almost as if on cue Daisy's phone rang out a short tune, the moose herm plucking it from her shorts pocket and tapping the screen. "Well for the first time today I can answer that, It seems that she had already made plans to spend the day with some extreme sports guy she met a couple of days ago. Says not to worry, they're fine and on the way back to the ship for a little alone time, Big surprise there..."Looking around the table Lilly said, "I'm guessing everyone got a little alone time." emphasizing with air quotes. "She how was the cache? Did they at
least restock it?"Thinking quickly as they did not even check for the coins the mouse said, "They were out, But I left the keychain anyway." pulling her camera out and handing it to Lilly she continued, "I got some good shots of the valley too."Looking through the images on the memory card she said, "Looks like you're getting some good use out of the rig. We might need to get you a better bag though."Swiftly clutching the denim backpack to her chest she squeaked, "No!... it's ok, I like this one."Looking at the mouse with a smile. "I meant just for the camera." With a sudden change of expression, face slightly hardened she looked over at the moose girl. "Daisy, want to step outside for a smoke right quick?""Okay, sure, but I don't smoke" the moose replied trying to keep her voice even. Excusing herself from the table she followed the liger outside"Don't worry, I don't smoke." the liger said as she lead the way to the parking lot. Once they were outside and away from the entrance Lilly turned to look at the moose girl."Okay, here's the deal, I don't like your family much at this point. it has nothing to do with you, and your mother is ok in my book too. But what I saw the other day was not good... at all. But, there is one thing I care about more than all that shit. that mouse in there. And she likes you, and it looks like you like her. The problem I see coming is the end of this cruise. Any Ideas, mouse bait? Cause sure as hell ain't no way in hell she is staying with your family till school starts.""You're right there isn't any way he's staying with my family, ever. I would not only not suggest it, I'll be damned if I would allow it For her sake I don't want her anywhere near my other brother or my idiot father.I'm not looking forward to being near either of them myself for that matter, but that's my problem to deal with. "Look mouse bait, I'm not blind, and I'm not stupid. and if you just watch squeaky for any length of time you can see the difference you've made in her already. Shit Girl, you make it sound like I want some long term plans here. I'm not expecting you to leave your family or anything. I was looking at this summer. She told me how your asshat... I mean dad, cut your vacation on the island short by three weeks. hell if you were going to stay on the island I can pull that shit off and let you two have a summer to remember. But looks like that ain't gonna happen. and I'm not going to sit up all night with two teenyboppers giggling on the phone all night. And I doubt your dad would go for you hanging out in the Oregon mountains with a crazy bunch of war vets, not with the look he gave me the other night." Looking over at the moose she continued, "And that little display... and that shit this morning... Just shows how much you care about her, and your friends. So, I'll tell ya what, The door is always open, mouse bait, just don't go expecting too much from us. just call before you come so that we don't make plans to run off for the week or something." She said looking down at the young confused moose with a smile. "And you're right, you need to take care of your smart brother first. Worry about the other shit later."Confused by the change in the liger and what she said Daisy considered her options, her gaze going to the windows in front of them. It seemed Lilly hadn't chosen the spot so randomly. On the other side of the glass, across the room was their table, her mouse girlfriend and her brother and his expectant girlfriend beside him all easily with in view. The three no, four people that at this moment meant the most her, that all needed her were there together. These were the ones she couldn't abandon. No matter the cost she had to be there for them all. But how? It seemed that no matter how she looked at it she had to leave some to be with the others. Her life she would uproot in a heartbeat, but she couldn't ask that of any of the people around that table right now. As she stared at them, a thousand thoughts running through her mind at once it became too much."GOD DAMN IT! MOTHER FUCKING SON OF A BITCH, PAUL YOU MOTHERFUCKINGTROUBLEMAKERARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR I should have just thrown his mother fucking ass overboard and been done with it. How is a thirteen year old boy gonna raise a fucking baby? he doesn't know but he'll figure it out somehow. The whole time mom plots behind dad's back, Ralph goes off to talk to some guy he's know for like a month about some kind of job offer. Dad covers the rapist brothers ass by putting him out of sight and out of reach until we leave for home. And I end up the one with a broken heart because the one person, the ONLY person I've ever really loved in my whole damn fucked up life is about to slip throught my fingers and ther's not a GODDAMNMOTHERFUCKING thing I can do about it because of my fucked up family!!!"Looking at the liger she continued, "I have no idea in the fucking world what to do Lilly, how the fuck can I abandon either of them. If I leave Ralph right now dad will find a way to fuck up his life as bad as he fucked up Pauls. If I leave Sisy I break her heart and mine and maybe set her back farther than she was to start with. Either way the useless herm gets ass fucked worse than Paul did by me and SIsy and I lose something that I can't ever get back. Wht's the fuking answer to this shit? Go home to take care of Ralph? Leave with SIsy and say fuckk the rest? Find a fucking building and jump the fuck off ? I DON'T FUCKING KNOW!! All I do know is that I'm scared to fucking death of losing that sweet little mouse in there and no matter what I do somebody gets their life fucked up because of me!"Shaking the moose she held round the shoulder Lilly said, "Look here mouse bait, you're missing a few key points. First, Sisy has a support team, one that you really have no idea what they are capable of and willing to do. Your brothers have you and your mom, god bless the poor moose. They all need you right now. Running away is just stupid... and I have done some really stupid things, so I'll leave that one alone. Jumping off a building will... shit you do that and I'll kill you personally. Here's what you have. You have a family, brother and mother, that might need you there right now, and that give you a place to live, food to eat, and a few other things that don't come to mind quickly. If you go with the 'I'm going to follow Sisy wherever she goes' you're crazier than the lot of us. We are living in a two room cabin in the mountains of Oregon, six of us now. I stopped contracting and have no plans to start any time soon. Susan quit her job,
last day was Friday I think, Hank has been a hermit for nearly four years, and there is no way Alex can realistically get a job in the Oregon area near the cabin. But Hell, I managed to get a Chicago lawyer, an Army General, and an Oregon Court clerk to get together and expedit a two year process in less than a month. What your going to need is someone to be there when you need them, and Sisy is definitely your go-to-girl. She spent the entire night worried about you hating her after the shit hit the fan. I sat outside the bathroom as she listened to you pour out your problems.Just the change in her mood when you are in the room... Jesus fucking christ, It puts me to shame. Shaking her head slowly she said, "fuck you Lilly, you crazy bitch." a half hearted chuckle escaping her as she pried herself from the car behind her and walked towards the entrance herself.Without turning around the liger said, "Not the first to say that, and I'm sure you won't be the last. Just say it with some balls next time."Cecily watched as the two came back to the table, Seeing the rage filled look flash on Lilly's face she swiftly turned to daisy and asked, "Is everything okay?"Looking at Sisy, Daisy replied, "no, not really. But it'll get there, just going to take some time and effort is all." After taking a few moments to collect herself better she continued, "we can get through all this shit together Sisy, just be there when the other one needs us is what we need to do."Looking at the emotional state of her friend and lover the small mouse climbed up in her lap facing her. She reached up with her paws wiping the remaining tears from her eyes.and said, "I will always be here for you." The she leaned in pressing their muzzles together in a tender kiss.Her eyes going wide at the mouse's very public display of affection, the moose glanced over to the liger to see her reaction. Catching a glimpse of Ralph and Zoe the boys eyes nearly matching hers and the panda girl squeezing his paw and smiling.Tapping the menu loudly on the table, Lilliana said to them, "We're here for food, not snacks. you guys even know what you want to eat yet? And don't tell me trail mix."Pulling away from the moose's lips, eyes still locked on the emerald gaze, "I just want the fried chicken salad thing."Looking into the mouses brown pools, "I'll take an order of trail mix."With a smirk on her face, Cecily turned to the liger, "She'll have the salad too." The spun around and sat in the moose's lap leaning back against her.
