The Life Of Rico Chp. 2
Fire me? Just for missing a few days? Marie wouldn't do that to me. Would she? Rico thought as he rode his skateboard on the sidewalk. He was shocked that his boss would do that to him considering whenever he came into work he was one of the hard workers. He kept his head pointed towards the ground as he thought out their conversation when he arrived._____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________"Rico I like you I really do but you can't keep doing this crap. One more slip up and I'll have to fire you.""Y-you're joking right?""No I'm not."_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________He was stunned that she told him that. Just one little goof and it could cost him his job. "Bien Rico. No hay planos más mierda. Necesita llegar a tiempo al trabajo." He reminded himself in spanish as he kicked at the ground with his paw, gaining more speed. As he zoomed past people on the sidewalk, they said remarks to him that he simply ignored. He continued to zoom through the streets as he made his way to his apartment. As he quickly approached it he suddenly felt like punching something. "Pero ... sólo necesito una cerveza." He said as he tried to calm down. But as he turned the corner to his apartment building, he bumped into somebody, causing them to drop the stuff in their hands. "No. Not again." He heard a voice say. He turned and saw a Border Collie with fur that was white and milk chocolate instead of ash black. He couldn't see her face but he saw her large bushy tail swinging from her plump rear. "Whoops. Sorry chica." Rico said as he went over and helped her pick up everything she dropped. The Border Collie soon looked up Rico and saw that her face was beautiful. Her eyes were a shade of olive green and she had a bright pink nose. "Thank you so much. I'd be dead if I lost these." She simply said as she grabbed the stuff in his paws and ran off. "Some people." Rico said as he grabbed his board and started to walk since his apartment was close from where he was. He then made it to the apartment building where he was living and sighed. "Another day of hard labor over. Then it's back to working my ass off again tomorrow." He said as he approached the building and went through the door. The apartment was a mess with all of his stuff scattered everywhere and even some bottles that were heavy on the alcohol. "Home sweet home." He said to himself as he walked towards his kitchen that was even more disgusting than his living room. Piles of dirty dishes in the sink, dust collected around the fridge, and some Playboy magazines stacked up on his oven. He didn't care as he just headed for his fridge and opened it, revealing its contents which mostly consisted of beer bottles of all brands. He reached in and pulled out a bottle titled 'Budweiser' and popped the top off of it. He then took a large swig, tasting the contents. It was bitter and very old. Rico just shrugged as he took another swig and squinted his eyes. "Eh this shit is disgusting." He told himself as he tossed it out the window. A moment later he swore he heard someone yell "MY CABBAGES!" Rico winced as he headed back to his living room and plopped down in his recliner which reclined some of the time and today wasn't one of those days. He grabbed the remote to his T.V. and turned it on, going onto one of the few channels he can get. It was a spanish channel that showed
movies most of the time. As he watched, his cell phone rang and of course, he picked it up and answered it. "This is Rico Sanchez. Who is-" "Hola Rico. ¿Cómo está mi pequeño perrito?" An old and familiar voice asked him, making him smile. "Mamá. Estoy bien aquí." He replied back. His mother barely knew english so this is how they're phone calls usually went. "Así Rico cómo ha sido tu día?" She asked him. "Ha sido bueno mamá, pero yo estaba un poco .... tarde." He replied as he smile shrank down. "Oh Rico Rico. ¿Qué le dijo Marie dice esta vez?" She asked him with a worried voice. "Ella me dijo que si llegaba tarde una vez más, ella me despediría." He replied, making his mother sigh. "Rico, que no es como usted para llegar tarde al trabajo. Recuerdo que en Nuevo México como estabas siempre listo para sus puestos de trabajo a tiempo parcial." She told him. "Lo sé, pero ... que
cambia la mamá de tiempo y yo también. No soy quien yo estaba de vuelta en Nueva México. Me cambié después de sirvientes del diablo-" "Sé mijo. Por favor, darle un poco de tiempo, sin embargo ... por mí?" "Lo haré mamá." He said. "Así que aparte de eso, era su día interesante?" She asked him. "Bueno. She asked him, making Rico blush."Mamá vamos ahora que me conoces. She asked him causing the blush to become worse for Rico. "Bueno ¿qué tal que me tengo que ir por un poco. Adiós mamá." He said as he ended the call and closed his phone. But as he tried to relax, he still had the image of the border collie in his head. Her beautiful face, her tail and ass, and her breasts especially. "Oi. I swear I'm going to find a girl who'll kill me for staring at her rack." He said as he leaned down and grabbed a beer that he started on yesterday.
