Character Profile: Rabbit
Character ProfileName: RabbitAge: 18Gender: FemaleHeight/Weight: 5' 8" @ 124 lbs.Species: RabbitDate of Birth: November 8, 2179Residence: An estate in an ornate town somewhereOverview:Rabbit is one of the true daughters of a rich family of 10, in an estate owned by her father. Living in a socially high, and wealthy family, Rabbit: being one of the family's true daughters is often treated like a bit of princess. Despite her treatment, Rabbit seems to be less than spoiled compared to other members of the family... as well as members of other rich families. Rabbit is considered the "sweetheart" of her family, given this is part of a social paradigm of giving members of Rabbit's family titles.Going along, Rabbit appears as a white, floppy-eared rabbit with blue eyes having a counter-clockwise-rotating seal pattern in the left eye, and black ears. She has matching-colored hair to her fur; her hair is about eye-length around the front, but the back extends to then mid-back region, and is tied up by a couple of beads midway down. Strangely, her body is covered in black markings from her torso down to her forelegs, though they aren't seen because of her clothing.
On the note, her clothing consists mainly of a blue formal ball gown-like dress that features short, puffed sleeves that narrowly cover the shoulders; and a skirt that drops to around the ankles. She wears thin, white leather gloves on both hands, extending just slightly past the wrists. Her foot wear consists of small, formal, slightly heeled slippers, and she wears very long, covering undergarments. She often carries around a large, wood oar, tapered to a hook-and-belt system around her upper waist.Rabbit, despite the look often acts on kindness and fond feeling in general. Her outlook is often positive on most things, and often talks with enthusiasm when in conversation. She'll likely not use vulgar language or connotations to express herself, opting for more formal, and brighter forms of speech. Despite this, she usually doesn't mind if other do indeed use these speech habits and devises. In terms of conflicts, she tends to be very passive, looking to resolve rather than start; however, she too can have her moments.
In the presence of imminent danger or peril, the Rabbit Spirit sealed inside of her will often take some control of her. During this period, her eye/s will glow blue, and her personality gets to be nothing but serious and concentrated with a bit of reserve. During this state, she often talks in a double-voice, and radiates a blueish-white aura. The seal pattern in the left eye will also switch to both eyes, rotating counterwise from one another.History:When Rabbit was quite young, she was playing outside with the other children when she was met with by the Rabbit Spirit. None of the other kids knew, but when she was interacting with it, she ended up
letting it seal itself inside her body. It has been with her ever since, and only but her father, mother, and little sister Harriet know about her markings and what they mean. She thinks of it as something like a spiritual guardian of sorts; it always seemed to keep her out of danger. One day many years later, when her father was off to attend a business trip in the "floating metropolis in the sky" (Takama-chi), she decided to accompany him. Since not other children showed any interest, it was just Rabbit and her father alone as they went there. She was left to her own devises whilst there should her father be away on one of his meetings. One of these times, she ran across and became quick friends with a boy: the boy, Tanuki Take'ich.
However, after what would seem like a normal night, Rabbit felt it ominous about the air that night. When the Rabbit Spirit inside of her warned from from doing so, she'd not head him this time, and wander off to find Tanuki. Before being forced unconscious by the Rabbit Spirit itself, Tanuki later found Rabbit... something clearly not the same about him. As the Rabbit Spirit predicted... Tanuki was the holder of the opposing Tanuki spirit, to which he sat under its influence much the same as Rabbit's case now. That night, no words were spoken between the two, and only a deadly, destructive bout ensued between the two parties...Rabbit turned up unscaved after the incident: the Rabbit Spirit fled at the last moment before dawn. With what appeared to be an overnight carnage... as both Rabbit add her Spirit had foreseen. She was compelled away from finding Tanuki (by the Rabbit Spirit's advice), instead to search for her father. She'd later find him, alive, but injured inside a hospital; He'd been hurt a good jar by the preceding night. Having to stay in the hospital for a long time, he'd arrange Rabbit to get home safely, but alone. She'd notice on her way out various officers of law looking around with weapons in their hands, and various flyers with Tanuki's face on them... she felt bad for him.
Returning home alone, she'd spent four months in the confines of her estate before father finally returned home. For the next 2 years, she dreamed now of going out about the outside world, and to travel the river for new sights and to see more of mother nature. After this two years, she set out finally for her dream, bidding her family goodbye. Taking but an oar, survival supplies, a wood boat, and of course money, she set off down the river, rowing her boat away...Weapon: Boat Oar Weapon Type: Non-WeaponryDiscipline: NoneBattle and Abilities:Despite her rather proper, spoiled look, Rabbit can actually hold her own in an altercation or light bout. However, it is then said that she may not be the brightest of shining stars in this area. Having no formal training or discipline, she's totally reliant of what pretty much come
naturally. She thinks smart, but her attack suffers from her lacks.Because of this, resorts she may often turn to may include are using "dirty/cheap" tactics, and calculating obvious weak points, should her attacker have any. She may often be found to use slapping, subtle, harmless strikes; and resorting to using her boat oar as a meleé weapon. Her striking sometimes may incorporate traits from traditional dance movements or select actions not associated in battle.
Perhaps her most potent move is using her "Iron Slap" technique. In essence... it's just an ungodly powerful slap; It doesn't actually involve any metal of any sort. It's said that she has such power behind her slap, that she can 'Send people to high-heaven, where they can see cows jumping over the moon." While this is a pretty big exaggeration, her slap does possess rather head-turning, hard-knocking power... literally. However, it's not often she uses a strike of this power stature, as it can have heavy strain on her arms. However, in battle this just about does it for Rabbit. With her arsenal, offense, and even her defenses lacking, it's not hard at all to win a scuffle against Rabbit. However, be aware of when she's watching; she's like an encyclopedia, and will trap every single detail she finds in that head of hers.
