Cabin in the Woods

KingKingSTARwolf looked around warily. The fox seemed to be nowhere in sight. That meant it was safe for him to go inside its den, yards from where he was standing. He hid behind a bush, his ears perked to catch the slightest of sounds, but he heard nothing. He dashed to another bush, closer this time. He made his way to the front door of the small cabin. The door was barred, so he slid along the wall, searching for another entrance.

He had seen the fox only twice before. It was a sight to behold, its fur a blazing orange that looked like fire, with white and black markings that made it instantly recognizable. Not that it had anything to fear. This fox was clever, and somehow managed to avoid even the largest of natural threats. And the others it snacked on. This fox was voracious, and could eat anything. That was precisely the reason the wolf was here now.

A window! He looked inside and saw a single room. Inside were cages of animals who were slumped against the bars in defeat. KingSTARwolf knocked lightly and eight or nine heads turned his way with alarm and confusion. He brought a finger to his lips. He tried to open the window, but found that this was latched, too. The animals looked to him desperately.

There was a large rock on the ground. KingSTARwolf picked it up. He tried to be gentle, but there was no way to gently smash a window. Shards of glass fell all around him and on the floor inside. He was careful not to step on them as he climbed through the hole. The prisoners were restless but he quieted them down again. He was running out of time, and he had to work quickly.

He looked around the large room and saw a table. The keys were right on top, and he grabbed them. He went to the cages and set free a wolf, two cats, some birds, a hyena, and even a young bear. He unbarred the door. "Quickly!" he said urgently. "I don't know when that fox is coming back, but he must've heard the glass shatter. He'll be here any minute!"

"What about you?" the wolf said as everyone else fled without hesitation. "You have to come too!"

"I have a few things to take care of first. I'll be fine. I'll meet up with you later," KingSTARwolf assured him. When all of the prisoners were gone he started to rummage through the fox's den. He destroyed everything that looked like it could be used as a trap. He was ready to leave when he heard a small whimper.

KingSTARwolf saw a door on the other side of the room and headed to it. It was just a closet, but there was a small cage on the floor in the back. This was where the whimpering was coming from. He crouched down. "Are you alright?" he asked the young rabbit who was trapped inside.

"I - I just want to go home," it answered sadly.

KingSTARwolf reached to the high shelves. He didn't find anything. He went back into the large room and rifled through everything that was there. He heard footsteps and turned his head to the window. The fox was coming.

Back at the cage, KingSTARwolf tried to pull the bars apart with his bare paws, but they held firm. He wasn't going to give up. He heard the footsteps come closer. He propped his foot paws against the wall and pulled with all his might. Nothing happened. He slid the cage to the side and looked under it. The keys were right there. He grabbed them.

His fingers fumbled as the footsteps stopped right outside the cottage. He unlocked the cage. "Go!" he hissed through his teeth. The rabbit bounced off and he backed up against the wall, quiet as could be. There was silence. And then:

"My, my!" a drawling voice said, the words twisting through his ears. His stomach dropped. "How did you get out, little one? I put you in an extra special place. You know that bunnies are my favorite!"

The rabbit cried out, but KingSTARwolf was silent.

"Since everyone else has gone off I might as well make myself an early dinner. I can tell you're just gonna be soo tasty." The fox smacked his lips and dangled the rabbit over his open maw. It squealed with terror.

"Stop."

The fox raised its eyebrows as KingSTARwolf walked out of the closet.

"Now how did you get there?" the fox asked sweetly, as though it had known he was there all along. "Are you perhaps the one who let my food supply go free into the woods?"

"I am," KingSTARwolf said calmly. "Now let the kid go."

The fox giggled. "Now why would I do that? He's so tasty!" The fox ran a long tongue along the struggling rabbit to demonstrate. He chuckled. "What's your name, wolf?"

"You heard what I said."

"Fine. Don't tell me. Mine's Fuzzy," the fox said. "Fuzzy the Fox. I'll let the little one go. But you'll need to help me find a replacement, else I'll go hungry tonight. You wouldn't want that, would you?" He smiled and wiggled the small rabbit teasingly.

KingSTARwolf growled and took a step toward the fox, but Fuzzy held up a paw,

"Ooh, it looks like time's up," he said in mock sadness. He dropped the rabbit and it fell into his maw. He slurped at it noisily, his fangs inches from its neck. "Mmm! Very tasty. I'm glad you decided to let me have him!" His blue eyes twinkled.

"Stop!" KingSTARwolf yelled. "Okay - okay! Fine. You can have me. But let the rabbit go."

Fuzzy looked at him for a long moment and spit rabbit out into his paws. It laid there, dazed. "I was hoping you'd say that! Although, it is a shame. That one really was delicious. Ah, well. Go on now. Get going!" He placed the rabbit on the floor and it scampered off. "The thing about bunnies are, they aren't very filling."

KingSTARwolf stood stock still. He knew what was going to happen.

"Now then!" Fuzzy clapped his hands and peered at him. "What a fine specimen you are! So white, and very healthy!" He slurped the side of the wolf's face. "Mmm, and tasty, too."

"Just get it over with."

"But this is the best part!" Fuzzy said, astonished. He circled the wolf again and slurped a few more times with pleasure. "You don't need to be such a downer about it. It won't be that bad."

"And how would you know that?" KingSTARwolf asked, grateful for anything to stall the fox.

"I've had plenty of meals. And the ones that relax have a better time of it. Trust me," Fuzzy said coyly, running his finger along the wolf's fur. "Try it. You got nothing else to lose . . ." He grinned again.

KingSTARwolf took a deep breath. "I'm ready," he said.

"Great!" Fuzzy exclaimed, and grabbed the wolf's shoulders. "Now in you go!"

Everything went black as Fuzzy wrapped his lips around KingSTARwolf's head. He sputtered and coughed, and was forced into the tight chamber that was Fuzzy's mouth. Fuzzy licked all over the wolf's face with glee, which cause him to sputter even more. His head was completely soaked and matted down with saliva before it met a tunnel that opened for him, working at his face and effortlessly pulling him in.

Outside, Fuzzy was careful not to bite his prey's neck. That would end the fun all too early. He skillfully worked his maw around the shoulders, the hardest part of any meal since they were so large. He managed, though. He licked at the wolf's chest and felt him struggle inside.

The tunnel seemed to go on forever, which was weird because Fuzzy wasn't much bigger than he was, but it eventually came to an end. KingSTARwolf pushed, but nothing happened. Where was he? Suddenly it opened to a much larger space. He could see the many muscles that he knew would soon work at him, and a puddle on the bottom that would cover him all over. He closed his eyes.

Fuzzy slurped the last of his meal down and felt it plop into his stomach. He gave a satisfied "Oof!" and rubbed contentedly. His belly began to work and he felt the struggles begin, but they soon ended. He let a sigh of contentment as his stomach gurgled away. He got up and looked around his den. The window would be easy to replace, and the empty cages wouldn't take too long to fill. He was a skilled hunter - the tools were just for show. And so, there was only one thing left to do.

He went to bed.

Cafe Dining
