Character Bio: Dorothy Boswin
"You're not in Kansas anymore."
Background: The younger of the Boswin sisters, Dorothy was always fascinated by MODD and aspired to join the company's military branch when she came of age. Despite being two years younger than her sister, they were both tested for Seals at the same time. Dorothy was found to have a natural affinity with her family's Seal, the Dead Winds Seal. It was given to her under contract from MODD that in the years to come, she would train and eventually join the corporation either under ExIT or SWORD. This contract was upheld and she trained in the military arts of MODD and learned how to control her Seal more effectively.
However, when Martha Boswin - her mother and Winston's wife - died, Gale took pity on the Boswins and released them from their contract. Her abilities were well known in Pollenburn but never openly advertised to the general public. In the year after her mother's death, Dorothy hoped to join the MODD war games and compete but drew out at the last minute due to unknown circumstances. Strangely, her desire to join MODD has left her and she remained undyingly loyal to her father.
Many have observed that Dorothy's intelligence seemed to have dipped and they theorise that the trauma of losing her mother coupled with another event within the Boswin family - possibly the death of Reginald Langley, her sister's fiancé - affected her negatively. Conspiracy theorists claim that Winston Boswin had both Martha and Reginald killed to reign in his wayward daughters. Nothing has ever been proven.
Primary Class:
Berserker - A powerful short-ranged melee class with incredible physical attacks and great speed but at the sacrifice of intelligence and defences. Prone to lack of control.
"This! Is! Sparta!"
Secondary Class:
Inhibitor - Debilitating foes is this class' specialty with very few direct damage abilities.
"Slow down. Take a break. No one will hurt you."
Noxmancer - A class specialising in the manipulation of the Dark Element, using shadows and darkness to their advantage.
"Darkness... really needs to answer his phone."
Equipment:
Full Moon Harvest - "Wouldn't you like one of these in Animal Crossing?"
A Seal Weapon that has taken the form of a large shovel. Like with all Seal Weapons, it is practically indestructible and Dorothy makes use of this fact to bludgeon her foes with it. Rarely does she use the edges to cute into enemies.
Signature Move:
Black Mist - "You see nothing"
Dorothy's trademark attack. She generates a wide-spread black mist that she can control. Disturbances in the mist allows her to detect movement and she can manipulate the mist as well to attack her foes, the mist possessing some corrosive properties.
Black Wind Blade - "Now that's cutting edge."
A dull mimicry of Gale's Wind Blade coloured black. Dorothy collects several twisting winds into a crescent shape and infuses it with dark energies to cloak it within her black mist, making it almost impossible to see within the mist. Only has a short range in comparison to the original Wind Blade and can only work within the Black Mist.
Deadwind Doppelgangers - "Kagenobu jutstu!"
When within the Black Mist, Dorothy is capable of creating dark clones of herself that are fully capable of attacking. They are, however, incredibly fragile and usually dissipate with one hit. The number at which she can create them has been flagged at ten.
Statistics - Total 35
Strength - 9 - You're muscles are huge. Your biceps have more mass than most newborns and pennies get lost in your pecs. Your thighs are so thick that they're constantly rubbing against one another. How can you even move_?_
Agility - 7 - Can't catch me!
Endurance - 7 - - Is that armour under your skin? It has to be.
Intelligence - 2 - Okay, one more time. 2 + 2 is what? And if you say 5 you'll get the hose again.
Special - 3 - No, waving your hands and saying gibberish does not count as magic. Neither does waving around a wooden stick and expecting things to come out of the end.
