"An Herbal Solution"
The morning light had barely caressed the horizon, a cool wind had picked up during the extremely early morning hours and fog had cascaded down into the valley. It was still, silent as the two lone warriors made their way through the bitter early spring field. Grass had risen to the point that it flicked across Thok's ankle as they crept along the ground, extremely close to the ground to try and conceal themselves as best as they could. He looked at Danan a few yards in front of him, careful to emulate his movements to the letter, but honestly the younger warrior was not very light on his feet. He was more calculating, more prone to responding when he's had time to consider the situation than at the spur of the moment.
Thok was often ridiculed by his tribe, though born of two of the greatest tribe's warriors A'ula and Mohk, he often found himself more intelligent than the lot. Basing his opponents by intellect than sheer instinct. He'd always considered it to be a good thing, but he was often pushed aside for the strongest, more brutish members of his clan. A quick snap of air caused his raven-dark hair to fall over in front of his eyes, he grunted and brushed it out of his face, eagerly Danan whirled around, his hand clutched at the hilt of the massive sword strapped upon his back. He had eyes like a forest glade and long auburn hair that flicked wildly as he turned around. Thok shook his head silently and bade the other warrior to continue on.
It wasn't as if Danan had been noticed by him; his body was incredibly muscular, especially near the shoulder area. The way his dark leather loincloth hugged at his backside as they made their way up the hill was almost enough to make the younger warrior lick his lips. But Danan was also well out of Thok's league. No one wanted to have anything to do with 'the thinker'. Which was a shame, really.
Thok didn't have much strength, he usually relied on his wit and planning to survive, but the requirements to survive had granted him a large body of his own. Only his own tribe knew that in many circumstances he tended to be weak, cowardly. And therein lied the truth to his ridicule.
They'd reached another rise, and Danan stopped short, bringing his hand up for Thok to stop moving, which the other warrior rapidly obeyed. Thok crouched down low and reached around to his back. His harness didn't have a large sword on it, he could barely wield one small enough for one of his hands, but he did have his own inventions. He extracted a small stick from his back and began to unhinge the object. Thok unfolded it and pulled it straight, then once again unwound it and pulled it out straight again. This was Thok's latest invention; a projectile weapon, something to destroy his enemies from afar instead of having to fight them in a melee. Danan crouched lower and placed a hand on the ground, moving carefully forward.
Over the rise was a large pack of Tremen; a massive beast that stood three times the height of a man, thick fur adorned the beasts that could be easily fashioned into warmer clothes for the tribe, long, curved tusks for fashioning necklaces and armor. The fat beasts grazed silently. Their ears flicking to try and pick up any sounds around them. Thok moved in readying the weapon he had fashioned, but Danan glared at him.
"Thok, no. Stay down..." The leader grunted silently, he didn't speak so much in words, but in motions of his hand. But Thok nodded, pretending he misunderstood the message as he brought his weapon out and readied a bolt. The bow was an experimental weapon of his, he had seen it before, on warriors far to the east of them, but this was his first attempt to use it in a field situation. Danan glared back at him, suddenly looking infuriated that he'd brought this weapon along. "Thok, what--" He started, but Thok had already pulled back the string. He squinted an eye, taking aim at one of the brutes almost twenty horse lengths away from their very spot. "STOP!" He howled out loudly, causing the Tremen to stir suddenly. The butt of his spear struck Thok's bow and he released the arrow.
The arrow shot into the air, wildly unaimed as the feathers in the back sheared instantly through the string and somehow caused the construction of the weapon to fold back and snap. "What did you do that for!?" Thok roared angrily. "I was only--" His thoughts were cut off by the jagged glance Danan looked at the herd just as the arrow came down and struck one directly in the middle of his back.
"HRRAAAANNNN!" The beast bellowed loudly, suddenly rearing up onto its hind legs and causing the rest of them to begin crying out as well. It was then that they turned and began to rush at the hill where Danan and Thok stood.
"MOVE!" Danan cried out as he grabbed Thok and both began to run.
The ground rumbled hard under their feet, both men had a hard time trying to maintain their balance as they ran. Danan grunted as he was blindsided by a raging bull Tremen, but Thok quickly lost his footing and fell forward. "Danan!" He cried out as he hit the ground and rolled, his grip releasing his bow in the process. Danan threw himself into the path of another beast and was kicked hard back, blocking its approach. He grabbed Thok and yanked him hard to get out of the way.
"But my weapon--!" He wasn't given a chance to argue and Thok watched as his bow was shattered completely by the stampede.
They forced themselves out of the way as they came across a rocky hillside. Danan pinned his arms on both sides of Thok's shoulders, pushing the two of them as flat against the wall as possible.
Snorts, and spits from raging passing Tremen filled the air, their stampeding hooves hitting the ground and throwing wind, dust and debris all over the two barbarians as they both closed their eyes, waiting for it to pass. It still felt like forever before the rumbling had lightened under their feet, the dust was no longer spilling against Danan's back. It was a few moments longer before both men stopped trembling enough to realize it was over, briskly, Danan grabbed Thok by his harness and pulled him to his face. "You fool! You nearly cost us our lives back there!" He roared angrily.
"I-I was not the one at fault! You destroyed my weapon."
"You call _that_monstrosity a weapon?" He growled and pointed to the shattered, discarded remains of Thok's bow. "You are under my watch and you will hunt as _I_say! Do you understand?"
Thok snorted angrily and shoved Danan's arms away from him. "No, why don't you explain it to me?" Thok had really forgotten himself for a moment, at least until the moment that he received a deadly glare from the other male.
Danan's fist felt like being struck by the trunk of a tree. Thok didn't even feel the hard ground coming up to greet him, until he realized he was hitting the ground of their tribe's camp. He tasted the dirt filling his mouth and he spat it out eagerly wanting to clear his teeth of the grit of the earth. Danan gave his backside a solid kick, flattening him to the ground.
"Wha-what is this?" Kanth asked as he approached. "Have you been fighting again?"
Kanth was the visionary of their tribe; truthfully, they wouldn't describe their hunting party so much as a "tribe" but they were members of the same tribe, and as the five of them wandered the plains in search of things to hunt and deliver back home, they were closer to family than anything else. Kanth was the oldest, his hair streaking with silver dangling down in braids across the length of it, he still had strong hands, and was steady with a weapon, but he could even see that his seasons to hunt were limited. This may be his last one.
Haten was a stealthy man, built slim, almost hairless unlike the other men of their tribe. But he was much stronger than he seemed, his hair was a bright red color and he was oftentimes named "Flame" due to that. Bahn on the other hand was quite the opposite. He was built larger than the rest of them, dark hair, and dark eyes. It looked like his flesh had a pelt built into it, his hair contrasted the light and made him almost look like he was glowing against it.
It was their second week out and nerves were growing thin, especially between Thok and Danan who had very different methods of handling the hunt. A sixth man; Gatte was due to arrive any hour and collect the provisions they'd gathered from their hunt and return it to the tribe. And Danan, like every year, expected to return a hero.
"This idiot nearly killed us." Danan snorted angrily as he stomped past Thok and Kanth and threw himself onto the log next to the fire. "Damn fool attempting to be something he is not."
"I will not be made a fool!" Thok shouted. "You cannot know everything Danan. I at least attempt new things, but you seem to destroy anything I try."
"They are foolish ideas and do not belong with us."
"We heard a stampede not long ago." Bahn grunted a bit. "Was that you?"
"A master of observation." Haten said. "As they headed off in that direction, and returned from that direction, and..." He sniffed the air. "Thok stinks of failure. So I think he is the one responsible for it as well."
"Great. Now you have them against me." Thok glared. "Danan, you may be head of this hunt, but I think--"
"Perhaps it would be best that your thinking be laid to rest for the night before it gets you into more trouble, Thok." Kanth said sternly.
"But he is wrong! Surely the rest of you can see that." There was a long silence as the other three looked at each other, then turned their heads down quietly.
"Fine." Thok said as he breathed through his nose and exhaled. "Then I suppose I am alone." He stood up.
"Where are you going?" Danan asked. "You should not wander off--"
"There are a lot of things I would rather be doing." He said. "For now I think cooling off would be a lot better than sitting about all day as you plan our next hunt."
"Do not wander far." Kanth said, gently gripping the young warrior's wrist. "I cannot see the outcome, but something will find you."
Slowly, Thok pulled his arm away and continued on. "I'll take my chances."
The morning was burning brightly over the horizon by now, sunlight was casting the shadows toward the west, making two foot tall bushes cast appear six feet tall. He observed them as he walked by, the scant colors of reds and blues on the branches provided a little comfort for him, as justified as he felt in his own skills, Thok wanted nothing more than to prove himself; to become something greater to his clan than a folly of an inventor. It seemed like he was the only one who put thought into what was good for them, and at that moment, he wanted nothing more than to be respected by them; all of them.
"WHA-?!" Thok felt the ground crackle under him, and a sudden hole collapsed around his feet. He tried to call out, he wasn't a half a mile from his camp, but they wouldn't be able to hear him, even if his voice worked. He struck the ground and slid, his loincloth pulling up around his ass, Thok entered an uncontrolled roll as he descended down into the darkness.
"Ahn..." He groaned as he awoke. Thok gasped and bolted upright.
Looking around, he found that he had fallen into some deep, dark cavern. The sun was barely visible through the hole overhead where he had fallen through and its light shone directly down now. He had likely been unconscious for one or two hours at this point. Placing his hand on his head, he could feel the knot where he'd struck it coming down and he slowly rose to his feet. Dusting himself off, he began to observe the cavern; what little he could see filled him with a mixture of awe and dread. The cavern was laid out enormous, the ceiling was at the very least twenty-men high, the roof of it was at the peak of a giant archway that descended down into walls hidden in darkness for about three quarters of the room. Turning left, he could see where the wall met the floor about one hundred yards from him. Stroking the floor idly with his bare toes, he could feel the cold stone he was standing on, it was rough, but not jagged to the touch. He knew his best bet would be to follow the light's glow and he headed toward the visible wall. Reaching it, he peered through and found that the room inside was pitch dark and the lack of visibility filled him with dread now. What would his tribe think of him now? How would Danan scoff at this show of cowardice, Thok frowned and pressed onward through the passage. Who knew? Perhaps he would find a room that allowed more light in.
The passage was narrow; Thok could touch both walls with his hands and he used it to continue onward. The stone under his feet had grown rougher, but it was likely due to no soul having traveled through there before. Finally, as he reached a wall on the end of it, Thok's fingers found a small breath of air coming through the cracks of a boulder blocking the passageway. As he pushed against it, he could see a brief illumination of light filtering through, and he jumped back, blinking his eyes to adjust he shoved his shoulder against the rock again and pushed harder. The crack of light grew wider and wider as the boulder pushed forward, giving it a groaning roar he managed to push it clear of the passage, and found himself now in a room lit up like he was standing outside in the sun. As his eyes adjusted, he noticed that this cavern was filled with an incredibly trove of plantlife; most of it was the same, a vine plant that hung along the walls and ceiling. But as he looked closer, he noticed a familiar and strange bluish orchid hanging from them. The berries on them were tinted white in color, making it look like the blooms had caught the last of the winter's snow and held onto it. He recognized the plant, only from lessons on ancient plants, long since lost to history; but here they were for him to touch. "The bloom of insanity..." He whispered in awe as he looked around to see that they had completely infested the cavern. Legend had it, that when they were wild and flourished through the land, the people used it to incite vision quests. When the conquerors came, they used it instead to enslave the minds of the natives, making them do whatever they want by having them inhale the smoke that came from their poison. All it took... he pondered as he plucked a berry from one of the blooms; was a bit of an immunity to it.
Placing the berry into his mouth brought a tinge of bitterness that quickly coated Thok's tongue. The world began to spin around him as his throat filled with a cold air that made his lungs feel like they were breathing ice. He fell to the floor and shuddered, and for the longest time, had the impression that the plants had come to life and were dancing all around him.
The room was quite a bit darker when Thok came to. Night time had fallen outside already, he had broken into a cold sweat at some point, and woke with the chills. The plants were still there; they weren't moving on their own or singing and dancing with him. Of course, it had hit him like a stone, and now he should be immune to its smells. He gathered up several and stuffed them into the pouch hanging from his hip. As he looked around, he couldn't help but feel strangely giddy over the idea of getting his tribe back for turning their backs on him, and he could come back any time for more.
The path ascending upward was easily visible, even in this low lighting. Thok figured the light in the cavern and the low-lying moisture from passing rains and snows likely kept it the perfect environment for them to flourish. All he had to do was keep this place a secret...
Thok emerged through a hidden nook in a cave not far from where they camped. He had remembered noting it in the case of a heavy rainstorm that would prevent hunting. This would be his base of operation, a fire would certainly draw their attention. Quickly, he gathered stones to use as a flint and set the plants he'd gathered as the tinder. It didn't take long for him to light the plants and a small flame flickered to the surface. Almost immediately a soft white wisp of smoke accompanied the fire and it quickly grew in intensity, filling the cavern with a strange, vanilla scent. It would not be long now before they could see the firelight and come to investigate.
"Thok." The voice came nearly twenty minutes later, Thok was resting against the cave wall, one knee bent upward while his other leg was stretched forward toward the fire. The warmth it gave off was a subtle one, but comforting. He looked up and saw that Kanth had been the first to arrive. He looked around in concern. "Have you been here all day?" He asked, the shoulder of his tunic inadvertently slipping some off his shoulder. Immediately it seemed that he picked up the scent of the burning flower and his eyes had gotten a hazed expression. "Danan had seen the fire and asked I come check on you."
"Too proud to come himself?" Thok asked. "Not even to apologize?"
"He has nothing to apologize for. He was acting in the best interests of the tribe."
"You have to admit that he should not be in charge." Thok said, standing up and approaching the man. "Who is he to decide what methods we should use?" He grinned and pushed Kanth against the wall, his chest finding the older visionary's own.
"Wh-what are you doing, Thok... what did you find...?"
"You're the seer." Thok said with a grin. "Can you not tell?"
The kiss was unexpected for both of them. But as soon as Thok's tongue shoved into Kanth's mouth he gave into the sensation. He grabbed Kanth's tunic and pulled it upward, finding his underclothes pressing against the flesh that had fallen from Thok's loincloth. Kanth's flesh was solid for an older man, Thok never did understand why he chose to hide it under so many clothes.
"Thok what... are you doing?" He panted as their lips parted again.
"Give in to me." Thok demanded. His breath hanging off of Kanth's chin as he inhaled the smell of the herbal smoke. He didn't wait for an answer as his fingers found the seer's undercloth and he tugged to pull them down, feeling the flesh springfree and press against Thok's own cock. Kanth inhaled sharply and took in another kiss from the other warrior.
Abruptly, Thok interrupted the kiss and slung Kanth around, making him face the wall as he completely removed the man's lower clothes. His hand slid up Kanth's back, forcing the man to jut his backside out for him and Thok drowned his tongue in it. Kanth gasped heavily and lustily moaned as he felt the tongue slip inward. Thok's hands firmly grabbed the ass and he enjoyed the bitter-sweet flesh that it found. It was tight and hard, the older male had obviously never been bedded by a man before. But all that was about to change as his tongue slid up the crack again and again until Thok stood again and pressed his flesh against him. Again they kissed, but briefly as Thok began to rub himself between Kanth's cheeks. "I want you to bring Bahn and Haten up here to join us." He said, biting the man's ear lobe as he pressed his cock against the flesh, making Kanth whimper and moan, practically begging to be fucked. "Once we are all here, we can lure Danan up and he can take us all. We will make him know what it's like to be hunted."
"Ye-yes... yes I will..." Kanth said, his fingers clawing at the wall of the cave. "Ju-just... please... take me..." He panted.
"What is going on here?" Haten's voice echoed through the cave, making both men jump.
Turning toward the entrance, it was plain to see that he and Bahn had been standing there for a few minutes, both of them had erections that protruded from their loincloths as well and they were clearly enjoying the show.
"Oh, I'm glad I don't have to send Kanth down to find you two. But you don't want to alert Danan of our plans, do you?"
There was a long pause as Thok pulled himself away from the seer and started toward the two, who slowly backed away. "It... it smells strange in here." Haten noted. "What... what are you doing?"
Thok smiled as he backed him into the mouth of the cave, pressing his chest against the leaner man and wrapped his hand around his backside, squeezing tight and making him gasp and inhale as he stared into Thok's eyes. "Perhaps you can help with warming Bahn up, will you?" He asked assuredly. Turning his gaze to Bahn, he saw the larger man twitch in response. "Turn around, expose yourself to him, you know you've always wanted to right?"
"I... ahh... erm..." He stammered as Thok put a hand on Bahn's chest and pushed him against the wall.
"Go ahead, let us see." He said, sounding even more stern than before.
Quickly, Bahn sank to his knees, eyeing Thok's shaft as he played with himself. Turning around he whimpered a bit as he put his hands on the ground and as the loincloth straddled his ass, a fissure could be seen as it rested against his flesh. "Please..." He said.
"Go ahead, I want to see." Thok said to Haten. The slim man moved in, gaining a wild eyed expression as he fell in place behind the fourth member of their party. Sliding back the piece of leather that concealed him, Bahn blushed as he felt Haten's face and tongue begin to work its way along his flesh, diving deep into the ring of his ass as he came up to the end of the crevice and lingered there. Haten didn't seem to regret a moment, he slowly grabbed the tip of Bahn's cock and began to stroke it, lingering as he slowly stroked down and felt the draining of his precum across his fingers. "I want us to be able to include Danan in this." Thok said. "As a member of this tribe, he needs to experience it... as do the rest of the men in our clan." He grinned. He turned to Kanth and his cock slid under the cleft of his ass, making him whine, and whimper even more. "Call to him Kanth... make him come to us..." He whispered in his ear as he slowly brought his cock against the warm fleshy hole. "Make him mine too..."
Danan gasped and jolted awake from a long, heavy sleep. He remembered sending Kanth off to investigate a fire he'd seen in the cave beyond the camp, but as he realized both Bahn and Haten's sleep rolls were emptied he assumed they followed after. Glancing up he could still see the fire in the cave. Dressing in only his loincloth and gathering his sword he made his way toward it.
The cave was not far, maybe half a mile up a hill. The terrain was familiar and fairly easy going. It took him under 20 minutes to reach the glowing cave mouth warmth was coming from it as well as an odd odor. As he approached, the odor seemed to invade his senses. He felt his nostrils go tingly, the clutch on his sword seeming unsteady as he grew closer and quickly entered the mouth of the cave.
"Ahhh!" It was hard to tell in the flickering flames, the fire had grown out of control within, but across the flame, he could see Thok engaging with Kanth in the lewdest act he'd ever witnessed; Kanth was on the floor, his ass raised high, accepting the warrior's own sheathing cock. The sight should have been shocking, even appalling to Danan, but something about it grew his arousal as he felt himself rapidly growing under his loincloth. "AHHH! M-Master!" Kanth cried out passionately as Thok slowly drew himself in with every breath he took, fucking him deeper, and harder now. "I am--AHH! I am---" He grunted loudly, burying his face into his arm as he came, suddenly spending beautiful ribbons of white into the cold white stone under them.
"Oh yes. Be mine, Kanth..." Thok moaned.
It was then that Danan realized that Bahn and Haten were also fucking in another corner, Haten was on a thin slab above the floor, letting Bahn have a turn at fucking him. Passionately, Haten pulled the other man toward him and kissed him, letting his tongue wetly pass into Bahn's mouth.
"Do you like it, Danan?" Somehow Thok was behind him, preventing his exit, his thick shaft pressed conveniently against the back of his leg, making him wheel around in surprise. "You could think of it as... an initiation into a new tribe if you'd like."
Danan's hands trembled heavily now, he felt the sword fall from his hand as he fell back in surprise. "Thok wha-what is all this?" He asked.
"It's the new way, Danan." Thok answered. Looking over his shoulder, Danan could see the others standing there looking at him, smiles pressed on their faces, which he wanted to feel all of a sudden.
"No." He said to himself. "It--it can't be." He looked at Thok. "You've done something to them, you... you..." He paused as Thok's hands took hold of his face, his arousal pressed against his lips which made him pull away.
"Oh do not worry, I've cleaned it." Thok teased. "What you saw happened about an hour ago... you only saw it because I wanted you to see it but I saved this for you..." He said, pushing his cock in more firmly. "Nnngh..." He moaned as he felt the warrior's lips part and his shaft slide into his mouth. "Yes... don't fight it... you want this. Don't you?" He panted as he rolled his hips and slid in further.
Danan couldn't resist, his fingers wrapped around the end of Thok's length and he moaned, feeling the warm flesh slide into his mouth, the bitterness of his precum draining down his tongue and into his throat. Suddenly, he couldn't remember why he resisted this before, Thok tasted so good. Danan watched as Thok's naked body arched forward and his cock pushed into his mouth, he whimpered and moaned as he pleaded for more; then, the image of Bahn and Haten on the slab entered his mind and he felt himself suddenly there. Standing as he was thrown over the end of the slab, his chest greeting the cold stone as he moaned; first a finger, then a tongue invaded his cleft. He was reveling in it all of a sudden. He cried out as Thok's cruel and invading tongue caused him to cum; suddenly, almost violently he threw himself into the stone as cascades of cum splattered off of it and sank to the floor.
But that wasn't the last of it, moaning for him to continue, Thok's cock pushed into his ring. He hissed and cried out, eagerly waiting for his master to finish with him, to use him like this. He cried it several times until he heard the words whispered in his ear:
"Beg for me..." Thok said. "You are mine from now on... beg!"
"P-please! Make me yours, Thok... master..." Danan cried out as he grew hard again, feeling Thok's length work its way toward a climax. He could feel it lurching inside of him, he felt Thok bite down and grunt violently as he came, suddenly flooding Danan's insides with his cum; a feeling that only seconds later was met with a second round from him as well. For the first time, he just wanted it to last forever...
It was afternoon, Danan had no recollection to how long it had been since that night. Only that due to Thok's resourcefulness and skill with the bow it would be the most bountiful hunt yet.
"Danan?" The sound of a familiar voice jerked him from his daze, he'd only half realized he was naked when Gatte had appeared behind him, a look of confusion washing over him. "Have you anything for me to send to the tribe today?" He asked. "Are you alright, sir?"
"Y-yes... I'm fine." Danan said. "You'll... have to ask our head hunter though. We are set to return home in a few days. But he may have something to send on ahead.
"Head hunter? Thok?" Gatte said, following the gaze.
Thok smiled as he stood atop the camp's hill, looking down on Gatte. "Oh, yes. I think I've got a few plants that need to be run home. The men could use it as their smoking tobacco, it's quite potent stuff." He said knowingly.
THE END
