Life had changed greatly for Starpelt, shi had never been more happy in hir life. Shi had joined the Police Academy when shi was 18, in order to help protect others from the same type of pain and trauma that shi had experienced as a cub. Shi had enrolled in the Academy signing up for all of the advanced classes that would place hir high up in the training making it easier for hir to advance hir career once shi joined the force. Starpelt had met hir denmate Krano through the Police Academy and that had been one of the happiest events of hir life. The large Wolftaur was perhaps the best part of hir life these past years. As time for graduation began to draw closer Krano had left to meet with his family in order to have them come to see the graduation ceremony. During his absence Starpelt was introduced to a saber-toothed tiger pattern chakat named Wildheart, and despite hir wild appearance and fierce career, Starpelt and Wildheart fell quickly in love. When Krano returned from his family he was surprised to see that he had a new co mate, though the two of them hit it off immediately it became obvious that Star was taking the leading role in the family hir demeanor becoming more confident and dominant as shi gained confidence in hir new family.

On the morning of this day however Starpelt was both nervous and excited, shi had out a very formal looking uniform. Shi was completely nude at the moment having just gotten out of the shower. Shi could hear that Krano was still bathing. Usually the showered together but this morning if they had been inside the shower together they would have been very late and that wasn't something that shi wanted today. Today was of course the day shi and Krano would graduate from the Police Academy. They had both worked very hard for this, signing up for many special classes that had delayed their graduation for many years, but would help their career grow. Their friend Mary, a mouse morph, had already graduated and was a patrol cop at the moment. But Star and Krano both had high hopes for their careers. Shi grinned as shi looked at Krano's Uniform, the outfitters were forced to custom make his uniform for the graduation.

Wildheart, Star's other denmate a saber-toothed chakat, walked into the room purring at the sight of Starpelt still bare breasted admiring the uniforms. "You know if you are gonna get there on time you need to first get dressed." Shi said licking hir rather large fangs which protruded several inches down past hir muzzle. Star looked up from the uniform and smirked. "Yes Wild I know now go tell Krano to hurry up in the shower or I'll come kick that wolfy rump of his." Shi said with that no nonsense tone shi had been using a lot lately. Wild grinned but obediently walked into the bathroom to hurry the Wolftaur along in his bathing. Starpelt donned the uniform and was straightening the hat on hir ears balancing hir ears by the time that Krano and Wildheart emerged from the bathroom, the Wolftaur fully dry.

Once Krano and Starpelt were both fully dressed and ready to go Wildheart started hir PTV, they were taking Wild's since Star's was not nearly big enough for all three of them, it was seriously time for a vehicle upgrade. Once on the road Starpelt began to twitch hir tail in excitement, this was a new beginning for hir. This was the culmination of several years of work and study and training. This would be where shi started to accomplish hir goals. Krano reached out and gripped hir hand smiling at his mate, Star's rather strong empathy was projecting to both of them and they easily picked up on hir excitement. This was a big day for not just Krano and Starpelt but for them as a family.

The ceremony would take place outdoors since the weather was nice and clear. When Wildheart pulled into the Academy parking lot it was already full and bustling with activity. When Starpelt climbed out of the PTV shi was quickly surprised when a rather petite figure dashed from the sidewalk to hug hir. It was a rather small mouse femme in a patrol cop uniform wearing a grin on her muzzle. "Hey Star it's about time you caught up to me." The mouse was of course hir friend Marry whom shi met hir first day at the Academy. Mary had graduated earlier then Starpelt and Krano due to the fact that Starpelt and Krano were taking special courses that extended their time at the Academy. However Star was ecstatic to see hir friend and hugged her tightly. "Marry! You came, I was worried you wouldn't be able to get time off!!" The little mouse grinned at the chakat's excitement and gave a nod of greeting to Krano. "Oh I wouldn't miss this for the world dear!" The little mouse said as Starpelt took her hand and then took Krano's while Wildheart locked up the PTV. Together they followed the crowd towards the field where the graduation platform was set up. Most of the guests were already taking their seats near the stage. Krano and Starpelt both kissed Wildheart and gave Mary hugs as they went off together to find seats, Marry eyeing Wild's long teeth speculatively as they went.

Krano and Star were directed to the Stage and positioned Alphabetically in line, which was rather funny to Starpelt, because Krano was put right between a Dalmatian morph and an otter morph both of whom he dwarfed easily. Shi tried not to giggle at his uncomfortable look as he noticed how much he stood out. He hated how much his size made him stand out, but shi wouldn't change a thing about him. Shi looked out in the crowd for a moment and felt a jolt of pleasure as shi recognized three particular figures that were waving at hir from the crowd, hir sisters were there all wearing matching tops that made hir want to giggle. Each one, was wearing black halter tops that had bright yellow lettering across their busts that read: I've been a bad girl, arrest me please. Behind them sitting next to hir foxtaur mate, hir mother was shaking hir head ruefully at hir daughter's antics.

Soon though the Ceremony began, it was a rather emotional moment for many of the cadets who would be going out from this day to protect and serve, to lay their lives on the line for others. Starpelt was back towards the back of the alphabetical line of cadets. As Starpelt watched the cadets called forward to receive their proof of graduation, shi saw someone interesting in the audience, he was sitting next to hir hand to hand combat instructor. He was a Wolftaur, obviously very aged his muzzle was more white then grey, his frame was still wiry and muscled though, but he was obviously not as big as Krano. However he was obviously someone important, he was wearing so many medals that Star was curious how heavy his shirt must be when put on. He was gazing at the procession of cadets with a curious expression, it was appraising, as though he were judging each one as they were called.

Starpelt turned hir attention away from the Wolftaur as shi heard Krano's name called. Hir heart swelled with pride as shi watched hir mate walk forward. He had worked just as hard as shi had in order to reach this moment. He had signed up for the same advanced placement classes that shi had, even taking on several other physical training programs that shi wasn't in, shi knew why too, he wanted to be equal with hir. He wanted to be just as strong as shi was. And he was just as good as shi was. He couldn't lead or strategize his way out of a paper bag but he was perfectly capable of following any order given and doing any job that was set to him. After Krano rejoined the line shi smiled, he had such a cute expression on his face, almost like he would burst with pride mixed with relief that being in the spotlight was over with.

Soon however Starpelt was called up as well, as shi walked up to the Director of the Academy. Shi snapped a salute and as the Director saluted back shi heard hir family cheering and felt a surge of pride of hir own. Shi had made it, shi had taken the first leg of hir journey and now shi had hir career ahead of hir, life was never certain, but shi knew that while this part of hir life came to a close a whole new future opened up before hir. Shi looked out at hir family as shi rejoined the other former cadets. Hir mother was looking at hir with pride and love clear on hir face. Shi was no longer the scared little cub that had experienced a great sadness. Shi wasn't the brash teen who had given hir mother such a hard time through out hir time in school. Shi was a confident, skilled, person capable of taking care of hirself and hir family now. Shi would never be helpless again.

2 hours later......

After the ceremony Star's family had practically mobbed Krano and Star, they spent several minutes in a congratulatory group hug. However they did have an appointment to keep. Krano's parents had been unable to attend the ceremony so they had asked for the honor of throwing a party for them. Krano's mother was a Starfleet Doctor and had been called away on a urgent case and couldn't get away in time for the ceremony. So Star's mother Blizzardpaw had filmed the Ceremony for her and Krano's father while the rest of Krano's family set up the party. Starpelt had never been to the home of a Wolftaur pack. Krano's family pack lived on a National Nature preserve that was run by his father, shi was rather looking forward to meeting his family and getting to know them all.

When they arrived at the preserve's parking lot there was a small office building situated in front of a fenced boundary line. Sitting outside the office building was a lithe young Wolf morph female. She had a fold out desk set up and was busy writing. She was clearly enjoying the nice weather outside as she worked. When everyone started piling out of the PTV's she looked up from the paperwork she was doing. When she saw Krano her eyes lit up with recognition. "Krano I was wondering what was taking so long for you to get here." She called as she got up from her desk. She smiled at all of the now assembled group which consisted of Star's mother, hir mate Braddoch, Star's three sisters, and of course Krano and Wildheart. Wildheart seemed to be acting rather playful today, Shi kept wrapping hir tail around Star and grazing those saber teeth against hir cheek making Star blush a bit and gaze at hir denmate with a curious expresion. However shi did settle down once they were out of the PTV. Krano smiled at the Wolf morph and nodded to her. "Yeah I forgot what a drive it was to get here, is Mom home from work?" He asked his ears perked up hopefully. The wolfess grinned and nodded. "Yeah Miss Teilea came home about half an hour ago and from what I hear has the whole pack organized, by now she should have your party in full swing and ready for ya."

Krano let out a Whoop of laughter as he grabbed Starpelt and Wildheart's hands and pulled them towards the small door that led past the boundary line fence, Inside there was a trail that lead into the forest where the Pack made their home. Starpelt laughed at Krano's eager expression but shi understood. He was so rarely ever home. He had left home to live in the cities, to be a police officer. And shi was grateful for that because otherwise shi never would have met him and hir life would be more empty with out him. Eventually they made their way into a huge clearing and had to stop as the chakats took in the sight before them. Braddoch was a foxtaur and had been raised in a foxtaur village so he was used to this kind of village. But to Star this was new. The homes were like log cabins but more secure looking, more modern looking, the Wolftaur had some how blended fairy tales into a modern day village. But what truly made them gasp was that it looked like the entire village was in the middle of a festival, there were banners, musicians, even some stalls with crafters set up selling stuff. Krano and Star's names were painted on many of the banners. Starpelt turned to Krano with a incredulous expression on hir face. "Your mother never does anything by halves does she love?" His only response was to shrug.

As they began to make their way towards the party a dark blur streaked from around the legs of a group of Wolftaurs and moved towards Krano with a happy howl. When the dark blur stopped a small chakat cub was latched on to Krano's leg hugging him tight. "Brother your home!" And this completely threw Star for a loop. Krano had never mentioned a chakat sibling before. The cub was absolutely beautiful at least in Star's opinion. The little cub looked up at the group surrounding Krano and especially at Starpelt and hir eyes went wide and hir ears laid back against hir skull. Shi had beautiful red hair that matched Sapphire's own crimson locks. But hir black fur was dotted with white spots that were more like speckles. They were all over hir body, even on hir grayish black underbelly. Shi looked like shi was wearing the night sky, shi was just as Star patterned as Starpelt hirself was. Star was instantly charmed by the cub, however that didn't distract hir from the curiosity shi was experiencing or hir exasperation for Krano never telling hir about the chakat cub.

Shi turned to Krano with a look of exasperation on hir face. "Krano! In all the times that I have asked you about your family never once, in all those times, do you tell me you have a chakat sister?" Shi demanded poking him in the chest. The little cub's eyes widen seeing Starpelt adress Krano, hir big brother, in such a manner. Shi was even more surprised that Krano had a sheepish look on his face and his own ears were laid back in face of his denmates ire. "W..well to be honest I...just didn't think about it." He said rubbing the back of his head. The little cub now had hir tail between hir legs, a decidedly canine trait that Starpelt had never seen in a chakat. Which was actually the reason that he'd never mentioned his sister as a chakat, Shi acted so much like a little Wolftaur pup that he mostly thought of hir that way. He had mentioned his sister to Star, but never had he said that shi was a chakat. Starpelt sighed and shook hir head at hir mate's absent mindedness. Star smiled down at the cub with a reassuring smile. "Hello little one, I am Starpelt, I am your big brother's mate. What is your name?" Shi asked

By now the little cub had stepped away from Krano's leg and was examining Star curiously, however Star noticed that the cub's tail was still tucked between hir legs, a sign of nervousness shi guessed. "I...I'm Starfield." The little speckled chakat cub said, hir voice a mix of nervousness and curiosity. "Are you an Alpha?" Shi asked Starpelt, the little cub's tone slightly disbelieving. As though shi couldn't believe that anyone could boss hir brother around. Beside Starpelt Wildheart began to giggle, as did hir sisters behind hir. Krano however was the one to answer Starfield's question. "Yeah sis shi is the Alpha of our family." He said with a tender look at Starpelt, who just chuckled at the term Alpha being applied to hir. "Krano take Wildheart and the others over to the party me and Starfield will catch up." Shi said and looked hir mate in the eyes to show that shi was being serious about it. Shi could feel that the little cub was extremely nervous around such a huge group and shi wanted to see if shi couldn't get to know the little cub a bit more.

Krano nodded and took the others off into the crowd of Wolftaurs who were calling greetings to him. Starpelt turned to look down at Starfield with a smile. "Feel better now that the crowd of strangers is gone?" Shi asked, Starfield nodded a bit, hir tail slowly. Starpelt smiled at hir. "So little Starfield do you know what I am?" Shi asked wanting to know if the little chakat knew what shi was, shi acted so much like a Wolftaur that shi wasn't sure if shi could identify as a chakat. Starfield looked confused by the question. "Aren't you a Wolftaur Miss Starpelt?" Starfield had never seen another chakat until today, shi had to admit that Starpelt was a very odd looking Wolftaur just like hirself but to hir that's what shi was.

Starpelt had been afraid of that shi smiled at Starfield though not wanting to make hir think anything was wrong. Instead shi asked another question. "How old are you little one?" Starfield was about to answer when someone else walked up. It was perhaps the most beautiful female Wolftaur that Starpelt had ever seen before. "Shi is ten years old now Shir Starpelt." She said with a smile. Starpelt stared at the female Wolftaur, she had snowy white fur that was extremely well groomed. Her build was rather lithe, but busty as well, shi even made Star's sister Ruby look small in the chest, which was an accomplishment for sure. Starfield saw the Wolftaur and ran forward to her. "Mommy!" Shi yelled as the Wolftaur bitch picked hir up in hir arms, the little chakat cub snuggling into her rather large breasts, which incidentally were completely bare at the moment. Starpelt however managed to tear hir eyes away from her breasts and looked into her eyes, which were the color of bright polished gold, a very striking color. "Shi called you mom, so you must be Krano's mother?" Shi asked curiously.

She nodded petting over Starfield's ear. The little cub was making a sound that was somewhere between a chakat's purr and a Wolftaur's murr. It was an unusual sound but it made Starpelt smile. "Yes I am Teilea," She said with an amused grin on her face. Starpelt returned the grin and then looked down at the cub in her arms. "So how did you wind up with a chakat daughter?" Shi asked curiosly. Krano had never mentioned a chakat in his pack so shi didn't think that Teilea had another mate. She smiled at the little cub in her arms as she spoke. "That is a long story but perhaps one that is best saved for later after all the pups have gone to bed." She said and Starpelt nodded in understanding. It wasn't a happy story, Starpelt would have to wait to have hir curiosity sated. However it wasn't a good thing that little Starfield couldn't identify as a chakat, when shi grew up there would be problems that shi would need other chakats for. Problems that could affect hir mental health and possibly hir physical health if it became too bad.

Teilea walked to Starpelt with Starfield in her arms and smiled down at the cub who was still watching Starpelt with open curiosity now, clearly more comfortable now that shi was in hir mother's safe arms. "Starfield, Starpelt here is like you, a chakat." She said in a tender patient voice. Starpelt could imagine that helped her a lot when dealing with erratic patients in her work as a Starfleet doctor. Starfield looked confused, like shi was trying to understand but couldn't quite wrap hir mind around the concept that shi wasn't the same as hir family. "Isn't that a type of Wolftaur mommy?" Shi asked. Starpelt smiled and rubbed a hand along Starfield's cheek, the cub's fur was thick but incredibly soft to the touch, just like Starpelt's own thick coat. "It's similar sweetheart, there are differences. It doesn't mean anything, and it doesn't change who you are, it's always what's on the inside that matters. However I will help you learn about chakats as you grow up little wolf kat." Shi promised the little cub who seemed appeased by this.

Teilea smiled at Starpelt, the smile making her canine face seem somehow more majestic and serene. "That was well done Starpelt, quite the mother you make." She said with an appreciative grin. "I'm shocked that you don't have any pups of your own yet." This time it was Starpelt's turn to blush but shi grinned at the beautiful Wolftaur bitch purring. "I do plan to have cubs but I don't think I'm ready to be the mother yet. I want to get my career set up and started first." Teilea nodded and then turned back towards the party that was obviously in full swing by now, and it became plainly obvious that Starpelt's family were making themselves right at home, since Icepaw had jumped up onto one of the Musician's stage and was now adding to the entertainment with hir own variety of music, that had a few of the male wolftaurs staring at hir in bemused wonder. Teila chuckled as she cradled the squirming Starfield a moment longer before setting hir down to let hir go play. Starfield took a moment to give a very odd look to Starpelt, it was a mix of curiosity, wonder, and nervousness. But Shi did give Starpelt a friendly wave before dashing off to go play with the Wolftaur pups that were roaming the edges of the party. Teilea watched the cub go then turned to Starpelt. "Now why don't we go join the party too, after all it's for you as much as it's for Krano...."

The party was an obvious success, the music kept everyone dancing for a long time, well into the afternoon, the food that was served was delicious. The meats were unlike anything that any of the Chakat's, and the lone foxtaur, had ever tasted. The spices used were completely unfamiliar to them. Starpelt was also introduced to Krano's father. And shi finally learned where Krano had gotten his sheer size from. His father was a good head taller then Krano and was built with toned muscles that surprisingly moved very quietly and gracefully. In other words he was every inch the predator that he looked like. He wore leather hunting gear all the time and it was obvious why he was the one who protected the Preserve from poachers. Shi doubted if there was anyone that could stop this Wolftaur when he was out in the forest. However he welcomed Starpelt as though shi were a part of his family.

The sun was just beginning to sink down below the tree's when Wildheart came up behind Starpelt and hugged hir, grazing those saber teeth of hirs against Star's shoulder. Star chuckled and turned to face hir frisky denmate with a grin. "You have been frisky all day long, what's got into you hun?" Though shi was beginning to have hir suspicions. However Wildheart took Star's hand and smiled. "Come with me dear." Shi said with a smile. Wildheart led hir to the home of Krano's family that they would be staying in that night before going home the next morning. Wild stopped in the middle of the room they would be sleeping in and fidgeted for a moment. Shi however looked Star in the eyes and smiled. "Starpelt, I know that you want to wait to get your career set up before you have cubs...You aren't ready to be a mother just yet but...well I am." Shi said looking into Star's eyes and suddenly Star understood what was going on.

Shi looked into Wildheart's eyes with surprise but the beginnings of joy. "Wild..are you saying that you want my cub?" Shi asked, shi knew that the reason shi hadn't caught Wild's heat scent was due to the perfume that shi was wearing, it was made to disguise the pheremone scent of heat. Wildheart nodded softly as shi hugged hir denmate. "I am ready Star, I have reached the top of the mountain in my career... I know I can be the best again, I want this Star, for both of us." Shi said as shi kissed Starpelt deeply. Star eagerly returned the kiss. When they parted Wild took Starpelt's hand and looked deep into hir eyes. "Starpelt, will you sire my child and promise to cherish and care for hir?"

Star nodded as shi gripped hir mate's hand. "I will." shi said with a smile. "Wildheart will you bear my child and bring hir up happy in the security of the family?"

Wildheart nodded. "I will." Shi replied. They finished the traditional vow together though. "In the spirit of love, let our child know joy and fulfillment all hir life."

With that Star took the lead, shi was close to hir male phase at the moment and shi was easily aroused at the thought of siring a child with hir wonderful wild looking mate. Shi wrapped hir arms around Wildheart and pulled hir into a deep passionate kiss. Wildheart returned the kiss, letting their empathic senses come together to let each other feel all the love and pleasure that was flowing through them. However Wildheart was quickly surprised at how quickly Starpelt managed to get hir top off of hir. But shi grinned as shi took just as much joy in removing the formal uniform that hir mate was still wearing.

Starpelt stopped to admire hir mate's full breasts for a moment, they weren't overly big, shi worked out too much for that. But they were perky and still somewhat plump. Shi leaned forward and nipped playfully at Wildheart's nipples eliciting a groan of pleasure from the saber-tooth chakat. Shi suckled on hir breasts taking one of those brownish colored nipples into hir muzzle as shi drank hir mate's milk water. The delicious liquid that all chakats produced unless they were lactating mother's milk. Eventually though Wildheart was squirming and moaning from the pleasure that this elicited from hir heat charged body. "S...Star...Please take me now." Shi practically yowled as shi experienced hir first orgasm just from the teasing of hir nipples. Starpelt was only too happy to comply with this.

As Wildheart moved hir tail aside to show hir puffy needy entrance, Starpelt eagerly mounted hir mate, hir rather thick shaft prodding Wild's needy folds. Shi leaned down and whispered to Wildheart tenderly. "This is the best gift that you could have given me love." And with that shi entered hir. Hir thrusts were slow at first but firm, rocking them forward with each deep stroke that pressed the head of Star's shaft right against Wild's cervix, slowly stretching the entrance to hir love's womb. Soon though both were drawn close to their peaks, as Star's thrusting pushed hir shaft inside of Wildheart's fertile womb. Starpelt leaned hir head back growling as the speed of hir thrusts increased. "This...this is a new beginning for us, a new life, a new love in our lives Wild...This is our gift to each other." And with that Star's thick shaft exploded inside of Wildheart, painting hir womb with Star's thick potent seed. Though there was a good chance that the first time would do the job, they would spend many more times that afternoon, after all a little extra effort couldn't hurt......

Elsewhere at that moment.....

The head of the Police Academy sat in his office going over files of the newly graduated cadets that needed placement at the many precincts placed all over the state. Usually the job was taken care of before graduation when everyone placed in their preferences for where they were placed. The Director of the Academy was a very old German Sheppard morph, in a few more years he would be up for retirement and he looked forward to relaxing and getting away from all of this. He'd been at this job a long time and had seen many of the cadets he sent out into the world wind up falling in the line of duty.

He looked up as someone knocked on his office door. "Come in." He said in his rough gravely voice. In walked a very aged Wolftaur, with many medals and commendations on his shirt. The Director knew who he was, he led a very elite unit, if the term Hero Cop, applied to anyone it applied to him. The Director raised an eyebrow at the Wolftaur as he walked up to his desk. "Is there something I can help you with?" He asked curiously. The Wolftaur smiled but tossed two files onto his desk. "These two are mine, make the arrangements." With those brief words he turned and left not giving the Director a chance to respond. Curious the Director looked at the names on the files. Starpelt, and Krano....

Late that night.....

The little cub peeked hir head out of the door of hir room. Starfield knew that shi was supposed to be in bed asleep but shi felt uncomfortable tonight. Shi had been thinking about what hir big brother's mate had said to hir. Shi knew that shi looked different from all the other pups in the pack, and hir mother had tried to explain it to hir but part of hir just shied away from the realization that shi wasn't a Wolftaur, that shi wasn't the same as everyone else. Shi wanted to belong, to be part of the pack. However the little cub had found some comfort in Starpelt's words, it didn't matter what shi looked like, it was what shi felt shi was that mattered. Of course that wasn't quite what Starpelt had meant but it was close enough for the little cub.

Starfield made hir way to the room where shi knew that Starpelt and Wildheart were sleeping. Shi silently slinked hir way into the room and made hir way over to the exhausted pair. Starpelt was laid out on hir sides with Wildheart's arms draped over hir waist. Starfield watched Starpelt for a moment looking at the strange spots on hir fur that did look like they were the color of stars in the night sky. Shi leaned down blushing and licked the sleeping chakat's cheek before snuggling up under one of Starpelt's arms. Shi snuggled into Starpelt's chest and closed hir eyes feeling oddly safe in the older chakat's arms......
