A Kitsune Vixen's Adventure, Ch. 4
Remember, I love comments, so don't forget to leave one, and fav or vote for the story if you liked it....
A wizard has transformed young man from Earth into his role-playing character, a female kitsune vixen bard, and has sent her on a quest to find a lost book. She hooks up with a kitsune todd navigator from a ship, and together they set out to sea....
I lay in bed, resting with Koleb, my tail over his legs, his over mine, his hand-paw in mine. We where both breathing lightly, enjoying the warm afterglow of sex. I thought of the last two days, and the adventure I had had as a female kitsune bard, and part of me wished it would never end.
I had to admit, I was actually enjoying being a vixen bard. The applause I got from the audience was better than anything I had got back on Earth as a musician, and I was making enough money to support myself. And also, I had a wonderful lover. And having sex with him was just awesome....
I was starting to think that being transformed by that wizard was the best thing that had ever happened to me, even though being female was taking a little bit of getting used too.
Then, as I lay in bed with Koleb, there came a knock at the door, interrupting my thoughts. It was the captain: "Koleb, I need you in the chart room", came his voice from the other side of the door.
"Yes, sir", Koleb shouted back. He turned towards me and kissed me. "I've got to go, love", he said. Then he climbed out of bed and got into his clothes and boots.
I watched him go, sighing.
He had called me "love". I wondered what I was going to do when we got to Sarnath and had to part ways. After all, if I wanted to get back to Earth, I had to find the Lost Book of Abremalin the Mage, and then I would be leaving him forever. I wondered how I was going to explain that to him....
I shook my head... it was going to be hard. And, I had to admit, I felt a certain degree of affection for him - I knew I was attracted to him, and we had dynamite sex together in bed....
And he had probably saved my life in the battle with the frog-things.
I sighed again, getting out of bed. Koleb's cum had dried to the fur of my little pussy lips again, so I went to the bucket of water and sponge I had used to bathe him with, and washed myself down there. Then I got into my dress and sandals, and picked up my lyre.
Some music would do my mood a lot of good, I thought, so I went up on deck, sat down beneath the mainsail, curling my tail around me, and started to play.
I went through every song I knew, starting with the classical half of "Stairway to Heaven", and ending with Rush's "The Trees". Then I started over. My music filed the ship, and sometimes the sailors would stop to listen to me.
I played for hours, until finally Koleb came up on deck to get me. "Your voice is so beautiful", he told me, kissing me. I stopped playing.
"Thank you", I replied. My voice _was_beautiful, far better than my old male voice had been....
And then he took my hand-paw in his. "Come on, let's go below decks to my room", he said. I nodded in agreement and got up.
I followed him to his room, and there was a small bottle of rum on the table. He uncorked it, and poured two cups. We sat down across from each other and began to drink. Soon, we where both a little tipsy, and when the rum was finished, Koleb got up, walked around to me, and kissed me.
I kissed him back, and soon we where making out. Koleb's warm body against mine, his scent in my nostrils, his tongue in my mouth soon had me feeling horny, and I felt that now familiar warmth return to my breasts and underbelly. My nipples came erect....
Then Koleb started to undress, so I did too. Standing there naked in front of each other, the warm butterfly-tingles returned, the sight of his naked furry male body making my heart flutter, my breathe come in short gasps.
Then he led me by the hand-paw to the bed, and we got in and we made love again.
Afterward, I curled up into him, putting my tail over his legs, and we slept together.
The rest of the sea voyage went on like that: to break the boredom, I would play and sing for the crew, while Koleb took readings with his astrolabe and spent hours below doing math in the chart-room. Then at night, we would share a small bottle of rum, and make love in his cabin. I couldn't help but to congratulate myself on having the foresight to take that potion, so I didn't have to worry about getting pregnant....
A week passed, and finally we arrived at our destination. One day the cry came "land ho!", and everybody rushed up on deck to see Sarnath.
From a distance, it was a shining white walled city surrounding a medium-sized deep-water bay, it's spires and towers poking up from behind it's walls. It seemed to be made of marble. And it was huge. It looked like it held a hundred thousand people, at least....
We sailed into the middle of it's harbor, and _Cloud Chaser_dropped her oared chase-boats, which slowly tugged us to the wharves.
Standing on deck with Koleb, I turned to look at him. This was the end of my voyage; what was I going to say to him?
"Koleb",I said, looking down at my feet, "this is the end of our voyage together."
I looked back up at him. His ears where laying out flat, a pained expression on his mask.
"Don't go Elysia", he said, "I think... I think I...."
"Don't say it", I replied, putting a finger to his lips. "It's hard for me too."
"But why?", he asked. "Stay with me on Cloud Chaser, and we'll journey the seas together...."
"I can't", I said. "I'm on a quest for a wizard, looking for a lost book...."
My tail twitched. I felt close to tears for some reason....
"Then let me help you", he said. "_Cloud Chaser_will be in port for a week, getting re-caulked."
I looked into his eyes. "Well, maybe for another week then...."
He smiled at me. "You don't know how long I've looked for another kitsune like you", he said. "I just want this to go on forever...."
I sighed. In a way, so did I. I guess... I guess I was really starting to have feelings for him. My vision blurred for a second, and I wiped away a tear.
I looked away.
Then he rubbed my belly. "And what if your with child?", he asked.
I sighed, looking back up at him. "I can't be", I told him. "I took a Potion of Infertility a week ago...."
"Oh", he replied. Then he added "Look, let me help you on your quest. As long as we stay together...."
I sighed again, looking up at him. "Okay", I agreed, "you can help me."
He smiled at that and kissed me. "Let's go ashore", he said, "and find this book of yours."
And at that, I went to his cabin to collect my gear, and we walked down the gang-plank together, hand-paw in hand-paw.
To find the book, the first place I was going to try was Sarnath's library. A big city like this should have one, I was sure. But I would need coin to get in, and that meant performing. So as we walked down the stone wharves, I asked Koleb if he knew of a high-class inn with rich customers where I could perform. "The Shining Temple of Pleasure", was his answer. He had stayed there before "but it's really expensive", he said.
It sounded perfect.
So we walked past the merchants of the sea-front up the granite paved main thoroughfare of Sarnath. We passed people of all races and species, all dressed in brightly dyed clothes, some in white togas, but most dressed in ordinary pants and dresses, shirts and skirts. There where beggars and children and dogs and cats in the streets. Armed guards in chain-mail occasionally passed us by. It was a far cry from Dylath-Leen - a real ancient metropolitan city.
The Shining Temple of Pleasure turned out to be a walled palace of white marble with a fountain out in front, its facade supported by pillars . We went in to a large antechamber, again supported by pillars. A female greeter in white robes met us, and I introduced myself and told her I was a bard and would like to perform for the crowd.
She told me to follow her, and she would introduce me to inn's owner. We walked though several small dining rooms, across floors of semi-precious stones arranged to resemble beds of flowers, and up a flight of carpeted stairs to a pair of intricately engraved wooden doors. She opened them and inside was a man sitting behind a large wooden table on a couch, being fed fruit by a naked female slave in an iron collar.
"Elysia the bard here to see you, master", she announced, and we approached him.
He looked me up and down. "Here for a job, I take it?", he asked.
I nodded, and he asked me to play for him. So I unslung my lute and played the classical first half of "Stairway to Heaven", singing sweetly.
He applauded me. "Very, very good", he said. "Can you dance as well?"
"Of course", I replied.
"Do you have an outfit?", he asked.
"No, I don't have a dancers outfit", I responded, wondering what one might look like.
"My servant will fix you up", he said. "Take her to the dancers quarters", he ordered, and we followed the greeter through stone passages behind the dining rooms to an set of double wooden doors, again intricately engraved.
"No men beyond this point", said the greeter to Koleb. I looked at him.
"It's fine", he said. "I'll be in the main hall getting dinner. Then I'll head back to the ship."
He kissed me good-bye and we parted ways, the greeter leading me through the double doors.
The room on the other side was open to the air and sun, with a large pool in it's center bordered by white marble columns, in which ladies of various races where bathing and gossiping. Most where human, but some where elves. The greeter took me to a beautiful woman in a bejeweled dress, and introduced me.
"Elysia, this is Sensuella, the madam here. She runs the entertainment."
"How do you do", I said, putting out a hand-paw. She shook it, looking me up and down. "You'll need an outfit", she told me, "but first let's get you a room."
She took me past the pillars to a hallway lined with doors and opened one. "Leave your stuff here", she said, "and I'll get you something to wear."
The room had an ornate wooden table with a lit oil lamp, a chair and a fine bed. There was a chamber pot, a bucket with sponges, and a picture of a landscape on the wall.
I set my gear down in the corner, and soon she returned with some diaphanous looking dyed silk clothing.
"Put this on", she told me, watching me as I undressed, smiling. The outfit looked like something a belly dancer would wear. I put it on.
"Now follow me", she said.
She led me down the white stone halls behind the main rooms of the palace, and behind a stage. Three human women and an elf , all dressed in the same outfit as I, where waiting for me. Erotic music came from behind a curtain.
"Your on when the next song starts", she told me. I nodded, feeling somewhat nervous: this would be my first time belly dancing.
The song ended and a new one began: lyres and cymbals and a drum. The five of us walked though the curtain and out onto the stage.
Beyond the stage, it was a small marble room decorated with erotic frescoes. Men in togas reclined on couches, being fed fruit and wine by naked slave women in iron collars.
We began to dance. I did my best to copy the moves of the others, rippling my belly and swaying my hips and tail in time to the music, jiggling my tits when the cymbals clashed. Slowly, we began to remove our clothes for them, a piece at a time, until we where all naked. The men watched us with mild interest.
We danced through several songs, until the music finally ended and Sensuella reappeared, beckoning us behind the curtain. We picked up our clothes and walked behind the stage, getting dressed.
Sensuella walked up to me. "A man in the audience wants to bed you", she said. "He said he'll pay ten gold."
Ten gold?! That was a lot of money....
I thought about it for a second: have sex for ten gold? Talk about an indecent proposal....
But I just couldn't bring myself to cheat on Koleb.
"No thanks", I told her. "I have a steady boyfriend."
"That's too bad, he'll be disappointed to hear that", she said, and handed me a small purse of coin. "Here's for the dancing. Come back tomorrow if you want more. It's not often we see kitsunes around here."
I opened the purse and looked: two gold pieces and a small amount of silver.
I thanked her for the coin and headed back to my room, sitting down on the bed. I guess, I thought, I should head back to the ship and Koleb.
So I gathered up my gear, got dressed, strapped my sword belt on, and headed out of the palace.
Outside, evening had fallen, but I could see the blue sails of Cloud Chaser at the wharves, and made my way to the ship.
I climbed the gang-plank, was greeted by the guards, and headed to Koleb's room.
I knocked on the door. "It's me", I said.
"Come in", said Koleb, and I entered.
Koleb was sitting at the table, looking over a chart by candle-light. On the table was a small bottle of rum and a basket of fruit, cheese, and bread. "I'm back from the inn", I said, sitting down across from him.
"I'm sorry I missed your performance", he replied, "but I didn't see you there."
"It was a small private performance", I told him. "Nude belly dancing."
He grinned at me. "I'd like to see that....", he muttered.
I grinned back. "I'll show you", I said. "After I eat. I'm starving...."
So we ate, and shared the rum. We made small talk, talking about our day. I told him about my experience at the Palace, and the proposition I had gotten from the unknown customer, that I had turned down. He smiled at me and took my hand-paw in his.
When we where done eating and drinking, I took off my clothes and belly-danced for him. Half way through the dance I had learned, he began taking off his own clothes, and he joined me. We danced together, naked, our scents mingling in the still night air.
Then he led me to bed, and we made love for half an hour. Then we slept, curled up in each-others arms.
The next morning, I awoke to the ships bell ringing out the time. I yawned and set up in bed. Beside me, Koleb yawned and got up. He kissed me good-morning.
We got dressed, and I told him about my plans to go to the city library and search for the lost book. He offered to come with me, and we decided to find a nice place to eat breakfast together and then work on my quest.
Koleb knew Sarnath pretty well, and led me to an open air restaurant serving freshly cooked meat, newly baked bread, and cheese. They served us cool water from the cities aqueduct instead of grog, which I was thankful for, and we then we set out to find the library.
Walking hand-paw in hand-paw with Koleb in the bright morning sunlight and fresh sea-breeze air, I couldn't help but reflect upon how lucky I was to have met him. He was kind and gentle, wonderful in bed, an officer and a fierce warrior in battle. I sure was lucky....
To bad it had to end soon.
We walked up the main thoroughfare through a series of bronze gates to the city center, marveling at the towering marble palaces and temples fashioned of a bright multi-colored stone, and my sensitive kitsune nose could smell incense wafting from them, and I wondered what gods where worshiped there. Around them I saw terraced gardens of strange and foreign flowers and fruiting trees which I could not name, and there were fountains, which cast scented waters about in jets arranged with cunning art.
The walls of the palaces showed vast paintings of kings and armies, and their pillars where of tinted marble. We passed an amphitheater, feed by massive aqueducts, and Koleb told me battles where held there against mighty sea-creatures.
Some of the streets of Sarnath where paved in onyx instead of granite, all leading off from the main thoroughfare.
I was stunned by the beauty and magnificence of it all.
Finally, we came to the library - and it was huge. It was built like the Parthenon, all marble with a facade supported by columns, people of all races and species walking up and down it's steps.
We went in. Inside was a large antechamber, full of desks and what I assumed where librarians, mostly in white togas. Behind them where stairs and passages leading leading into the interior of the library.
"Let's talk to a librarian", I suggested, and we approached a desk. Behind it was a female centaur with brown hair and coat, wearing a white shirt to cover her torso.
"Hi, I'm Elysia", I said, putting out a hand-paw. "I'm looking for the Lost Book of Abremalin the Mage."
"I'm Kaliepos", she said. She took my hand-paw and shook it. "If it's in our library, I can find it for you. The price is but one piece of silver."
That sounded fair. I reached into my belt-pouch and gave her a piece of silver. "Wait here while I check the index files", she told me.
I nodded, and she clopped off into the rear of the library. Soon, she came back a small scroll. "I found several book by Abremalin the Mage. Are any of these what you you are looking for?"
I took the scroll and read it. Books on magic, in theory and in practice, summoning, demons, other dimensions....
But nothing on a "lost book". This, was going to be harder than I thought. Then I got a bright idea.
"Do you have a biography of him?", I asked.
"That will be another silver for another book search", she said. I paid her, and she trotted back into the interior of the library again.
She came back out with a small leather bound book, "The Life and Works of Abremalin the Mage".
That sounded like a good place to start. "How much for the book?"
"Five gold pieces", she said. Ouch! I couldn't afford that....
"How much to just read it?", I asked.
"Oh, you can use our reading room for a silver piece a day", she said. "Two, for the both of you."
I looked at Koleb. "I'm going to be here for a few hours...", I told him.
"I'll be back on my ship", he said, and kissed me.
So I took the book and we parted ways. Kaliepos led me to small room full of wooden reading cubicles with an oculus overhead letting in sunlight, and I sat down to read, curling my tail around the stool.
The room was full of muttering - it seemed everyone was reading out loud but me, and that made it hard to concentrate. I had heard that ancient people only read out loud, never to themselves - they considered it impossible, in fact, but now I was seeing it first hand.
Not wanting to stick out, I also read aloud, in a low voice.
Abremalin had been born here in Sarnath, was a human male, and by the middle of the book had become an archmage. Then he had traveled of to some place called Ib, and dwelled in a tower to be alone and continue his studies of other dimensions through a magic mirror he had created.
It was there he had continued to write. And it was there, if anywhere, I was going to find his lost book, I thought; I just needed to find this Ib place and look for his tower.
I finished reading and got up, returning to meet with with Kaliepos and return the book. Then I left the library, and headed back down to the waves to return to Koleb and the ship.
