Fiddich and FurSeth
#1 of Fiddich & Furseth
Sometimes life throws you for a loop. Fiddich, your average construction worker living with a musically inclined roommate is about to figure out just how loopy it can be.
Fiddich & FurSeth
Prolog
You could say that today started out as any other. Get up, slip into a clean pair of faded jeans and long sleeve blue shirt before heading down to breakfast. Now everything had seemed normal up until that moment. Maybe it was the lack of my roommate, whom you couldn't miss by a mile because of his bright white coat and loud singing voice. However, what alerted me to his absence was neither of these. It was the distinct lack of aroma coming from the kitchen. Every day without fail he would get up and stumble into the kitchen to make bacon and eggs. The fact that today had changed was worrisome in and of its self. Stumped I turned back to look at the stairs, perhaps he was sick? Sighing I shifted a hand through my hair and scratched slightly by my ear.
Walking back up the stairs I stopped at his door. Raising my hand to knock I jolted back and a scream pierced the air. Reacting on impulse I jerked the door open and froze with something akin to horror, or perhaps it was embarrassment.
I watched my roommate finish the last few strokes of his morning wood. Granted this wasn't the embarrassing part, it was the fact of my body's own growing need. His sweat slicked fur and pleasure filled face with his release hanging from his lips.
"You could have knocked Fiddich. I'll be down in a minute." Blinking out of my morning shock I stepped back before closing the door. Taking a deep breath I counted to ten before releasing it. Walking back down the stairs with a slight throb I left for work. No reason to wait and be late.
Stepping outside into the crisp cold air eased the throbbing sensation into nothing but a few tendrils of thought. Stepping on the sidewalk I began the short trek to the construction sight. A few people were awake doing their normal daily duties, tending their flowers, running the dog, opening shop. Nothing was any different from the day before.
"Heeyy! Fiddich! Wait up!" Cringing slightly at the loud voice of my coworker I looked back just in time to see a black blur before getting a face full of fur.
"Morning Rime." I mumbled through his shoulder. His spicy scent clouded my brain as the morning throb returned.
"Why yes I do believe it is. Are you okay? You look a little flushed." a soft baritone voice washed over my ears before I could make sense of the words.
"Huh? Yeah I'm fine, its just the cool air. How far did the weekend crew get?" lying through my teeth we continued on to work.
"As far as I'm aware we just need to lay out the exterior path ways and finish painting the inside floors. Maybe the boss will let us go early neh?" he sent a wink my way fueling the blush to full force. Today is really starting to be an off day.
