ABC's of Horror: A for Aliens

Story by Azombie on SoFurry

This is the first in my new series I am working on. ABC's of horror. 26 different stories for FA and here.

I didn't want to dive into porn just yet in it. And it's pretty light hearted

I felt like giving a twist on the usual alien swarm thing.

If people really want it, I can write up the sex scene as an extra thing later.

A for Aliens

The cold night air was silent as Cole ran around the empty track. The skunk was always the last to leave the campus. The track was locked, but Cole always hopped the fence. Sometimes a janitor would see him, but they ignored him. Whenever he couldn't sleep, he would run a few rounds. It helped him clear his head. His iPod was cranked up to the sounds of Led Zeppelin, tonight. The only other sound he heard was his heavy breathing and heart beat in his ears. The lights were off, though he knew they way around. This meant that he was the only person on campus. He made his way on the last lap before the song ended. He jogged over to the bleachers, out of breath and took the ear buds out of his ears. It was getting too cold for him to keep running. He put the iPod away in his backpack and began looking for his glasses. As he rummaged through his bag for his glasses, a stunning bright light shone above him. There was a loud low-pitched sound followed swiftly my a sonic boom, though none of the car alarms went off. Correcting his glasses, Cole looked around him only to see a large metal object hovering just over the track he was just running. He stood there, mouth open in disbelief. He grabbed his phone from his bag to try and take a picture, but the screen was glitching out. Behind him a voice called out in an accent he had never heard before, "Hello, there. Uh, might I take a moment of your time to talk about Jehova?" Cole dropped his phone and turned around. Before him was a being like he had never seen. Tall, scaled, but with the shape of something almost human. The alien was grinning smugly. He was dressed in a white coat, and a turtleneck sweater, wearing fashionable khakis. Cole fumbled over his words and came out with something more or less like, "Fwuh?" "It's a joke. Humor to downplay the whole elaborate landing thing." The alien made a fake sigh, "Don't just stare at me like that, you'll make me blush." Cole tried to shake his head, but only twitched his head slightly to the left, "I.. What?" The alien rolled his eyes, "Would you like to come in? You don't have to if you don't want to." Cole grabbed his bag, slinging it over his shoulder without looking away from the stairway that led into the ship. The alien then said, "Jolly good." in his best effort to appear joyful. He led Cole onto the ship. As he entered, the latch closed behind him. The interior was small, with another alien at a piloting station, with an empty chair beside him. There was a couch built into the side with a table and some bottles on it. To his left was a screen that showed the local map and weather. Cole felt the whole place looked like the living room of a rich person. The alien that showed him aboard sat at the couch and poured himself a drink, looking over to Cole, "It's whiskey, given to us by a government official a few years ago." There was a soft hum around him. Cole slowly made his way towards the table and then said, "What do you want with me?" The alien poured the Skunk a drink, "We will discuss that later, have a drink." "Who are you?" Asked Cole, fear starting to creep up on him. The alien took a sip from his glass, "I am Ric'Char, you can call my Rick if it will make you feel better. You are Cole, right?" "How did you know my name?" Cole said, cutting Rick off. Ric'Char sighed, "You can relax, we found you through the internet. Nothing imposing." "Oh.." Cole felt odd, it was too normal, "You're not going to anal probe me, are you?" The alien grinned, "Only if you really want me to." "No, that's.. That's okay." He paused, "Why me?" Ric' shrugged, "Personality tests showed you wouldn't freak out too bad by this." "What personality tests?" replied Cole, shakily taking the cup of whiskey into his paw. "Your dating profile on OkCupid said you were open to new things." Cole nearly spit out some of the drink, "What?" "Only joking, again." Ric' shook his head in false disappointment, "We look though various tests people take online and post to their various websites for people to see. You guys make it really easy to weed out the crazies." The low hum stopped, the alien stood up, "Follow me, please." Cole set down the mostly untouched glass of alcohol. On his way off the small ship, he looked back to see the pilot down his glass, pouring himself another as the hatch closed. Cole looked around the interior of a large hangar, about the size of a football field. There were more of the small ships dotted across the hangar. More of the green scaled aliens were around, mostly just janitors, keeping the place clean. Cole saw that Ric'Char was staring at him, waiting for the initial shock to wear off. Ric' then said, "Would you like to get cleaned up before we talk about why you are here?" "Uh, yeah, I could use a shower." Replied Cole. Ric' nodded, "I'll get an assistant or something to show you around." He then pointed to someone who didn't look like a janitor, "You.. Uh.. K something." "It's Marti." said the alien, walking up to the two. Ric' nodded, feigning interest, "Yes, Marti, can you show our guest to a locker room or something. He can use a shower and give him some cloths while you're at it." Marti gave a confused look, "But I'm needed at navigation." "I know, you need to navigate our friend and get him ready." Replied Ric' Marti sighed, "Yes, sir. Right away, sir." Ric' walked away, leaving Marti to scowl at him as he walked off. "Marti, I was expecting something more alien." Cole said, trying to relieve some of the tension. Marti turned to Cole, "Yes, sorry about that. He's kind of a penis." He gestured towards a door, "This way, please. The name is an Earth name. I was born with the intention of being an ambassador." Cole followed the alien through the door into a long, nicely lit corridor. The inside was decorated sparingly, it reminded Cole of the Enterprise from Star Trek. There were other aliens walking around, ignoring the two for the most part. "I take it you had a different idea?" Asked Cole as the started down the hall. Marti shrugged, "I lack the charisma. I like what I do, more. It's all, uh.. How you would say, Geology, Mathematics. I don't have to spend my time showing people around." "Ah, sorry." Cole said, feeling a little at fault. Marti sigh, "I apologize, I didn't mean it like that." "No, it's fine." Said Cole. They walked in silence until they reached a door with alien letters on a plaque on the wall beside it. "Here is the locker room. There are showers and I will bring you something to wear." With that, Marti left Cole alone. He walked into the room. It was similar to any locker room he would see on Earth. There were a couple of the aliens dressing. One of them looked at Cole and nodded his head oddly, seemingly trying to replicate the way people on Earth greeted each other. Cole was nervous. He waved and said, "So.. Is this as weird for you as it is for me?" The alien nodded his head, "No. We have been this a lot used to it." Cole was going to reply, but decided against it. The alien went back to putting the outfit he saw the cleaners wearing. Cole just smiled politely and said, "Thanks." "Very welcoming of you." the alien replied. Cole looked around for a minute before finding a shower stall. It was a small room with everything a bathroom would have. He felt like he should have been overwhelmed, but he was too taken aback at how normal the whole place was. He realized that a locker room and bathroom are pretty universal. He thought that he might be tripping on something, or this was an elaborate prank. He figured he would just go along with it. No sense in worrying about it. He undressed, putting his old clothes into his bag and started the water. He dropped his bag and placed his glasses aside and stepped into the stream. He sighed, letting the water cascade onto his fur. There was a knock on the door. Cole looked over at the door as it opened. Marti stepped in with a bottle of shampoo Cole recognized, some clothes and a towel. Marti set down the two on a counter, next to Cole's glasses. Marti said, "I brought you some shampoo, for your fur. It says it smells like a spring morning. I don't know what that means." Cole stood there, trying to hide his endowment from the alien, "Oh, thanks. It means flowery, because Spring is when flowers usually bloom." "So it's an expression. I knew it." Replied Marti. He stood there, casually watching Cole. Cole blushed, reaching over for the shampoo, "Is that everything you needed?" Marti nodded, "Yes, would you like me to give you some privacy? I could join you if you wanted." Cole blushed, "Wha?" Marti frowned, "Too forward?" "A little." Replied Cole. "Your tests said you were a homosexual." "That is true. You are, too, I take it?" "I am." Marti smiled warmly, "We could mate if you like." "Mate like how?" "How do you mean?" Marti cocked his head. "Mate like 'mate for life' or mate as in have sex?" Cole asked "Oh, right, homonyms. Sorry, I mean sex." Cole cleared his throat, "No, I mean, maybe another time. There is a lot to take in right now, I don't think I could have my head in the game for that." "Alright, I will be outside if you need me. We have an hour before Ric'Char speaks to you guys." "It's not just me?" Cole asked, applying the shampoo to his fur, giving up trying to hide his body from the other. "There are a lot of you. We usually get them in their sleep. We are trying a new thing where we invite people, so as not to scare them." Cole rinsed his fur out, "How is that working out?" "You seem pretty calm, so I think it's working alright." Cole stepped out of the shower, taking the towel to dry himself off, "It's all so sudden, the shock hasn't really hit me yet." "Okay. I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing." Cole shrugged, "It's a thing." He grabbed the white T-shirt supplied for him, "Where did you guys get this stuff, anyway?" "Your government gives us almost anything we want. It's pretty cool." Cole chuckled, "Wish they did that for us." "They will, in time." Marti said. Cole finished dressing in the sweat pants and shirt. He felt weird to walk around the ship barefoot, but the place was immaculate. Marti led Cole into a large hall with somewhere around 200 seats, all filled with Earthlings, around Cole's age, of varying species. Some looked scared, others excited. Cole followed Marti towards the front where he was seated. Ric'Char was standing at a podium. Behind him was a large screen, showing Earth. Cole gasped silently, looking at his home. His heart began racing. His mouth was agape. This was it. The realization finally got to him. He could ignore it no longer. He was in space, on an alien spaceship. He felt a hand grip his paw. He looked to his side to see Marti sitting next to him, beaming warmly, "Fuck." Was all that could come out of the skunk's mouth. Marti cocked his head, "Uh.. I don't know what you mean by that." "I'm really here. This is really happening." "Yup. Don't worry, you'll be fine." Marti Smiled. "Oh man.. This is crazy." "We can talk about it later, Ric'Char is about to start." He pointed at Ric', who was clearing his throat and testing the mic. The tall alien took a deep breath, "Hello, people of Earth. You are here only as a contingency. Our plans to assimilate your planet and solar system into our unified group of systems. We have discussed in length with your leaders about it and they still refuse. So we have brought you here to insure that your lives will be spared. We will implore to your leaders once more that we would very much like a peaceful resolution, but if your less forward thinking citizens continue to slow our efforts, we will be forced to systematically eliminate them. I assure you that we will keep more than half of your population safe. If a problem still persists, we will ask you, those who have little left to cling to on your own planet to come with us and live on one of ours. We will then leave your planet alone to fend for yourselves. There are others out there in the vast universe who will not hesitate to reap your world for all of it's resources. Sadly we cannot bring you home until after your leaders have given us their final decision. If Earth does decide to unite with us, you chosen few will be ambassadors, to help smooth along this transition. We have done this countless times, this is the only way it works. We will not change your way of life. If anything we will improve it. Earthlings are a young people, we don't want to take away from your learning, or advancements. It should be natural. What we have offered is protection, and a safe haven should your planet be in danger. I know this may be scary to you, but you have my word and the word of our own leaders that no unnecessary blood will be spilled. Thank you for your understanding. Now, you will all be led to your own rooms. We have space enough for all of you. We have supplies to keep you entertained and fed through this final days of our negotiations. I will leave you to take in this information. I hope this is the beginning of a fruitful relationship." He then smiled warmly. The audience was silent. Cole looked around to see panic stricken faces dotted with the occasional content person. Cole turned to Marti, "This isn't going to end well, is it." Marti shrugged, trying to look hopeful, "Honestly?" "Please." pleaded Cole. "We are pretty sure you guys are going to fight us to the death." Marti sighed, looking grim. Cole nodded, "Well shit." He paused to think to himself. After a few moments he sighed, "I guess I'll take you up on that mate offer."
