Act 3 Scene 2 of my novelization of The Lusty Argonian Maid
Act 3: One Day in the Maid's Life
Scene 2
Slowly, as the high noon sun burned above, the Lord of the land and the lowly maid calmly walked through the large wooden halls of his manor. "How did it feel?" He asked, his ears still ringing with the sound of Daelas screaming.
"Good." She smiled as they turned the corner and began heading towards the recreational room, "I felt alive... I felt like justice incarnate." She smiled as she remember the feeling. "However, he deserves worse for hurting Fara." She looked down a hall they passed, she saw Varic slowly walking with three of his guards, she smiled.
"How are things with Varic?" Corto asked as he glanced at her silly smile.
"Great. He said he loved me about two days ago... I think he meant it." She said, smiling brightly.
"That's good." He patted her back and they walked in silence.
A moment of nothing passes and the duo is unbothered, comfortable and calm. Then suddenly, "How are things between you and Lady Seli?" She asked cautiously.
"Not perfect."
"Why?" She asked as they entered the recreational room and heard whimpering.
"I'll explain in a moment." He walked over to the small, poorly made fort and lifted the sheet. Sitting in the furthest corner was a crying young Fara. She looked up and her blackened eye and swollen lip sparked a fire inside Corto. "Fara... sweetie... come here. We are here to help." Corto was playing a vulgar vile beat down in his mind.
"Come here sweetheart." Tali said as she knelt down. The young girl took a deep breath and burst to her, her eyes pouring water, her face red as a rose, her nose drooling snot as she couldn't hold back the sobbing any longer. "Its ok. We are here."
"WHY!" She cried out, burying her face into Tali's shoulder, the tears soaking the dress to her scales. "Why did daddy hurt me?" She shouted into the maid's shoulder, muffling the sound of pure anguish.
"Your daddy was a bad man... but now he is gone and the guards won't let him hurt you ever again." Tali said, stroking the girl's hair softly, soothing her. Corto moved to them and sa down, crossing his legs.
"I got her... if she is ok with that." He said, smiling kindly.
"But master... I-" She began.
"Corto. Not master. Please never call me that."
"But you are my master."
"I am your employer... plus I come from a prestigous family. My friends were the servants, since my mother was overbearing and my father was a cruel man. I wanted them to call me Corto... so they did... until my father heard them. Had them all executed." Fara gasped, her tears stopping.
"Your daddy took your friends away forever?" She asked, her naive and young side finally showing.
"Yes... when I found out, I promised myself I would never be like my father." He took a deep breath. "Sadly, I inherited his anger... luckily I learned to control it."
"Really?" Tali smiled as she began organizing the room.
"Yeah... like what happened to you... when I found out, I... I wanted to kill your father in the most brutal way." He sighed, "But I am a good man, and let Tali handle him."
The young girl turned to face Tali, "What did you do?"
"I burned his privates with a cow brand." She said nonchalantly, concentrating on the polishing of the small wooden table in the corner.
Fara winced, "He screamed?"
"Yes."
"Good." The girl said, her eye darkening for a moment, "At least he had that liberty... he took it from me." She began to remember him violating her, she began to whimper.
Corto pulled her into a gentle hug, "Well we are here now... everyone here in this house will protect you." He released her from the hug and saw her eyes tearing up.
"Thank you." She cried, tackling the lord, "Thank you!" She said again, hugging him tightly.
Corto laughed and helped stand her up, "Now lets find your mommy." He said as he began to walk out of the room with her.
"Sir, I am a big girl."
Corto's laugh and their talking faded as they ventured down the hall. Tali smiled and continued to clean the massive recreational room. She looked out the window and saw the sun was beginning its descent. She smiled again, thinking of the romantic evening she and Varic had. She began dusting off the mantle of the fireplace and hummed a soft song. She remembered Varic singing the war song, the mellow, dark, and saddening song of lost men and lonely wives. "Soon the sun shall set again. The cold of night will take one more." She sung softly as she returned the Fort to its rightful place. "One more man, son of snow. One more wife, will never know." She finished with the fort and began sweeping. "Slowly oh slowly the sun will set." She stopped and looked at the room, it was clean, "And slowly oh slowly we all meet death." She finished, her cheek wet with a single tear as the thought of the war crossed her mind.
As Tali began to leave the room, she saw Varic down the hall. quickly she ran to him. "My love." She called to him, the other guards teasing him as he turned to see her. She jumped on him and tackled him to the floor, she began kissing him lovingly, their tongues dancing and rubbing. Slowly he felt her hands massage his body, gently lowering into his pants. The men around began to feel uncomfortable as she began stroking his hardening manhood. She sat up and smiled. "I love you." She said, pulling him up into a sitting position.
"I love you too." He said, smiling tenderly, he pulled her into another kiss, this time he began massaging her chest, exposing her breast as his motions grew more ferocious. He broke the kiss and began sucking softly on her neck, his hands still pleasing her chest.
"More." She begged.
Minutes pass and finally the duo cease. The company of guards, unsure of whether to be uncomfortable or turned on as their superior was expressing his passion to his lover. She stood up her dress falling down to the floor, revealing her naked body to the guards. Their eyes widened and Varic hit them all over the head. Quickly Tali pulled her dress back up and smiled at Varic who readjusted his pants to accommodate his massive erection.
"We shall conclude this tonight my beloved." Varic said as he turned the corner.
"I can hardly wait!" She shouted back, smiling as she felt her womanhood warming. She began heading to the kitchen to get a glass of water, her heart still pounding with exasperated joy.
"Ye happy." Said the older Bosmer chef.
"She a hero." The Khajiit said smoothly, his voice a purr almost.
"I know that." The old chef said, slapping the other's paw, "No touch!"
"M'der is sorry." He said reluctantly.
"Any ways, why ye happy?" The Bosmer asked casually.
"Varic is the sweetest thing when he needs to be, other times he is so bestial... I love it." She hummed and sat in a stool. "So what are ya'll cooking?" She asked.
"Giant Style Stew." M'der said with joy.
"Oh? Nice." She smiled and tried to sneak a taste. The bosmer swatted her hand and frowned, "Damn Gaza!"
The old man frowned, "Ye both have to wait til dinner." He waved the laddle at her, "Don't you have cleaning to do young lady?"
Tali hopped up and backed away from the counter, she bowed to the chef, "Oh yes. Right away your majesty." She said sarcastically, before the trio began laughing. "Alright, see you two later. Drinks at the pub are on me tonight."
"What about your lovely nord?"
"He's coming to get drunk too." She began laughing and the others joined before she walked away.
She smiled brightly as she walked down the hall, looking out the window and seeing a towering pillar of black smoke just past the mountain range to the east of their home. She stopped and watched as a group of guards emerged from the east wing of the manor and charged into the woods. She watched them as she saw bandits heading to the storage shed.
"Pitiful isn't it." She turned and saw Corto, his eyes dark, his face contorted, his lips pressed and in a scowl. "It's pitiful how men and women turn on each other so easily. Those are people from the town down the river from us... others are from Riften's Thieves Guild... And all of them want to kill me for being rich." He chuckled, "I know I am not as generous as I can be, but I try."
"Sir, you once donated your body to the army protecting Skyrim. You donated half of your land to the war efforts, you are more than generous, you are a saint." Tali said, placing her hand on his forearm.
"I'm an Imperial. Nords hate me."
"Varic is as Nord as anyone and he loves you like a brother. I'm Argonian, Imperials subjugated my people for years. I love you." She said kindly. "Who you are is not determined by anything but who you decide to be. And you decided to be a great man." She smiled and looked back out the window to see three of the bandits were captured and the rest running back into the forest.
"Thank you, Tali." He stared at her soft beautiful face for a moment, the urge to kiss her roaring in his heart and mind.
She turned to face him again, "No problem, Corto." She moved to him and kissed his cheek gently. "Now I got work to do." She began to head down the hall again, towards Lady Seli's chambers.
Corto began blushing softly as the feel of her soft lips parted from his skin, "Dinner will be served soon. Please inform my wife if you see here."
"Yes sir." She said jokingly, the evening sun slowly reaching the horizon as she turned the corner.
