[BEGIN LOG]
...what the hell is this all about? ... ... ... I--heh...I'm not sure what to make of it all. But, one thing is for sure, I am curious as to what that board had on it. I need to see if I can dig up information on it, but no doubt it will take a lot of time to do so. Still...I think that's going to be time well worth investing in...

SUBJECT: Something Wicked...
I...guess I'm not sure how to really and truly describe what I had just witnessed minutes before but...I will certainly try. AC was just chatting with me in one of the meeting areas about possible ways for us to start contacting Earth once more. At some point during the discussion, he had the strangest face come over him that I ever did see. If I could but best describe it...it was almost like he wasn't himself anymore, like he was someone else. Basically, possessed...
I called out to AC a few times in concern, but was met with a dead stare and not a single word from his lips. Instead, he quickly turned away and headed for a planning board where he took one of the tech pens and began to go completely fanatical with it. His hand was jittering about on the board with incredible precision and speed. I could begin to make out several drawings, markings, symbols, numbers, just about any bit of information you could imagine. I slowly stood up out of my chair and watched in amazement. AC's face was psychotic...compulsive...obsessed... His skin was paling and his eyes were simply wide as sweat began to form over his brow and face. And that face...that expression on that face...it gave me pause... Not because of whatever invisible strings were pulling at my friend. Not because of the way his body jerked about erratically as he continued his feverish duty of plotting the meaning of life itself for all I knew. But because each stroke of the pen was being made like his very life completely depended on it, and I think it truly did...
I felt a grave fear come over me as I continued to gaze upon this spectacle. Yet, my curiosity could not help but desire to wander just a bit closer to see what sort of strange writings were developing upon this canvas of frightening beauty. My jaw must have dropped all the way to the ground as I saw the level of detail and information strike me all at once. My mind wanted to interpret and fathom it all, but it was almost overwhelming to look for much longer. Before I could glance away, my eyes caught the attention of AC as he suddenly slammed the pen back down onto its receptacle. The very action of it sent a loud echoing clank throughout the entire room. He panted wildly as he leaned his back up against the wall and slowly began to slide down it as he fell into a seated position. My attention was divided as I was deeply concerned with my friend, but also intrigued by the very scrawls the board had now been littered with. There was very little white space. Every nook and cranny had been taken up with some kind of data.
My head shook as I snapped out of it. I quickly walked over to AC and keeled down by him and gazed on with concern as I asked him, "Are you alright?", to which his panting form slowly peered over at me quietly for a moment. He then finally gave a quick nod of his head. At least as good a nod as he could muster from his current state. I asked him what happened, but his response was weak as he simply shook his head and told me that he did not know. I reached over to my wrist communicator and summoned one the doctors to come help him out. Meanwhile, I stood up once more and touched my hand to my mouth as that board stared me down with an intimidating aura. I don't think there was a way in any short span of time that I could make sense of what I was looking at. Yet, I felt a sinking feeling come over me as my mind entertained the idea of certain things that jumped out at me. I began to realize that the origins of my friend were a lot more vast and amazing than I had originally thought and the events in our history to come would be truly something to see without a doubt...
