A bani tail is a unique thing. When birthed a bani already has a tail, but once a bani is given his cap, and starts helping adventure. He can use his tail for other things besides being cute. The tail of a bani can actually be detached and used a high explosive. When gripped, squeezed, then pushed, The tail detaches and after about five to thirty seconds, will detonate. The Detonation differs on only one small movement before it is popped free of the banis behind. After the last step, when the tail is pushed towards the bani, if it is turned to the right or left, depending on how far turned, the tail will have a timer set, turning it only one degree or just slightly will set the tail to detonate with in about four to five seconds. Or if popped free with out turning, the tail can be used as a contact grenade, where it explodes upon the first thing it hits. Once the tail is popped free, another will replace the tail within a span of only once second. When it appears it flickers for about one twelfth of a second before appearing, replacing the previous tail.
Similarly like a grenade, each bani has a unique attribute to there tail explosion. Some can explode and send shrapnel, others can explode in a fireball with many additives such as phosphorous, or even chemicals. Each bani has there base element for there tail explosions, but can easily change it by consuming explosive materials or dipping there detached tail into said element. The degree of the explosion can also be altered, either the bani wants it to just pop, causing a loud sudden noise, or if to be used as a flash bang, even to the degree of a mini nuke. When several bani tails are used each one feeds off the others explosive power, so combining several can cause a explosive so massive it could crack a planet.
A bani tail is in no part all or partial fluff, it is a whole nub that rests just below the spin and above the rear of the bani. it is a whole bulb that is attached to the top of the tail bone and has a thing layer of fur covering the skin.
Another thing in which the tails are used for is a strange and wondrous way of transporting anything. When a bani sits or gets his rear near an object, then swipes his tail over it, the item is sucked into the banis tail and sent back to the banis home world, where it lands in a contained area to be cleaned and sorted. Living things are sent to a different location where they are held, housed, then sent to a final location. Sentient beings having been sent through the tail have reported seeing a highly disturbing tunnel of living and moving bloody flesh, of which cannot be touched. This phenomenon only last about a second and can be easily missed if the traveler blinks or closes its viewing operations. Alot of things can be sent through the tail, most of what is sent is non essential items. Things such as coffee mugs, guns, technology, clothing, or refugees. Sometimes Banis can use other bani tails to escape or travel home though. when this happens the bani is the only living being that takes the path of nonliving things, they end up in the room simply known as "the room with the pool." where the items land in a enclosed contraption made of see through crystal. The Crystal being unbreakable by any means, the only way out is through the simple three by three foot square that is found at the end of the contraption. with in the first segment of the contraption, lays a four foot deep pool of geliton that is non hazardous to any electrical device but is paralyzing to any organic substance, the only exception is a bani. once a item has landed in this pool it is retrieved by a bani whom simply walks on the gelatinous surface and picks up or fishes out the said object, once retrieved the bani takes it to another segment and inspects said item then cleans it with the same said goo and a simple hot water and soap souliton. it is also noted that things such as clockwork viruses that have attempted to gain entry this way have fallen prey to the goo, which dissolves said things. Some non-Bani creatures that claim to have seen the room, have stated that the goo stares at them, hinting that the goo itself is sentient. Others claim that they have heard a stomach growling at them as the apparent eyes followed them around the outer confines of the room.This however is outlandish, for the fact no one outside of the group of banis that record and or sort through the the items are allowed into this room. One thing that is confirmed is the goo has several colors to it, making it a brilliantly colored goo. Some banis tunnel into it to find a quite and clam spot to take a nap or just to play around in. The goo itself forming a ball of air around the bani as he simply hops through it. Kit Redfield has been known to disapeared into this pool, hinting that there might be deeper sections of the pool that only he knows of. He having built the contraption many many years ago. Larger Items such as vehicles and such things as entire contraptions are sent to a open air place far into the galaxy where banis must travle to in order to inspect these things. the planet itself one giant contraption made for capturing and holding any hostial and aggressive things, weither mechanical or living.
