An unlikely meeting

Story by The Maid Foxy on SoFurry

Uhhh, hey guys. You probably don't remember me at this point as it's been forever but i'm kinda still here. My social life kinda exploded and i'm doing something pretty much every weekend. This was written in about a night when i was feeling particularly creative (I get creative bouts here and there where i have to do something) so i stayed up late and slammed this out. It's about some of my two favorite characters and my not-so-secret crush on Wolf @.@ (i still hope wolf and fox somehow get together) A fox can dream :P

Anyway, may have two parts idk, we'll see. I don't have a lot of time so i hope this is enjoyable enough. I haven't written anything in a long time so hopefully I'm still good X3

Enjoy

"Wolf! What did you do this time? The Wolfen looks absolutely demolished, I mean take a look at this." The toad pointed at the hologram displaying Wolf's pride and joy. Except much of it was as he said, demolished. "The lower right wing is crumpled beyond repair, gunna have to replace it." The toad's throat engorged and he made a ribbit.

"It'll cost a lot more, not to mention the multiple Blue-laser blasts. You know how powerful those are? Dual shot and all that." He narrowed his eyes and gave a small smile in the corner of his large mouth.

"This doesn't happen to be the work of Star Fox does it? Been getting you a couple good times lately."

Wolf was not amused at the guess, but he couldn't say no. After all it had been, once again his team was shot down by his arch enemy Star Fox.

"Don't go saying that name!" He growled. "So tired of that goody-two shoes Fox." His holographic eye-piece flashed as the toad sent him the bill via it.

"Well reguardless, once again he put you in the shop. Since the Wolfen is completely original I'll have to..." He ribbited again, causing wolf to flinch at the sudden strange noise. "...have to mill the wing myself and re-install have of the instruments in the cockpit. I'd estimate around 45,000."

"Forty-Five! That's ridiculous!" Wolf slammed his paw on the counter causing the hologram to flicker and shut off for a few moments. "That's fifteen tops!"

"Wolf, I've known you for a long time, I won't short-change you. Your wing isn't one solid piece, it will take more then a few days just to assemble that."

Wolf backed off and rolled his paw through his white fur in the top of his head.

"Fine, just do it. I'll transfer it tonight."

The toad croaked with affirmation. "Strange how he never seems to kill you though. How many crashes has it been at his paws? 4 or something? Like he's missing the cockpit on purpose."

"Put a fly in it Toad." Wolf grunted and stormed out of the garage, into the busy streets of Feral 6, a junker station near sector Z. One of the few he didn't visit too often. It was too close to a Cornarian fleet most of the time and while junking wasn't illegal, he certainly was. If any of Cornarias soldiers decided to show up he'd be a sitting duck. With his Wolfen locked up for a good couple of days.

"Panther, go ahead with the Job. I'm going to be stuck here for couple of days, might as well earn money while I can. Going to be paying with my tail for a tune up."

"More then a simple tune up! Eh?" Panther's deep soothing voice called through the radio. "Fox really did a number on you."

"Can it Panther or I'll can it for you."

Panther chuckled. "Have fun Wolf."

The radio clicked and ended with a short burst of static. Wolf drew in a breath and looked around the small intersection he was at. There were a few others who were hurrying to where ever they were going and yet others who were stumbling around. No doubt they were drunk. Above them was green and blue florescent light displaying different shops and clubs for the visitors and above that was a view of deep space. With a strange blue tint flickering through it showing the space shield that was in place.

Wolf started down one path looking into each of the pubs and bars to find one that suited him. He wanted to stay away from the busiest ones like Sector Z and spend some time alone, which he hardly every go to do anymore. His holographic eyepiece chirped as it found a bar that suited his needs. He followed the directions it gave him and found himself staring at the door to a small bar in a back alley called "The Lonely Mask." Wolf grunted and entered.

It was basically what he was looking for, small, separated, and quiet. A few patrons were scattered here and there, mostly too involved with their drinks to pay any notice to the new customer. Not that Wolf minded any, normally people noticed when he entered a room. After all, his face was plastered on every law abiding planet in the system and the bounty on his head was fairly large. So being ignored was a nice change of pace.

The bartender finally looked up from his seat, probably had been snoozing a little bit. He was a hare that had one ear partially cut off.

"Whats cans I gets ya?" He said with a small lisp, surprising Wolf with a surprisingly unfitting high voice.

"Just an ale, not terribly strong." Wolf responded as he noticed a small stage in the back. "Whats that?"

The bartender stretched his arm back and grabbed a bottle without even looking and poured a glass for Wolf. "What? The stage? Oh this place used to be a music lounge. Had a couple instruments hell the piano is still there."

Piano, the word brought back a few memories that he hadn't thought of in a long time. He remembered taking piano when he was just a pup. His fingers drummed along the bar as he grabbed the drink from the hare.

"Thanks." Wolf offered.

"Nos problem. If yous cans play, welcome to. Can'ts promises it'd be ins tune though."

Wolf took a small drink of the ale and drummed his fingers again. He hadn't played in years, forgot most of it. But some things never leave. He remembered playing often for his friend who loved the piano but had two left paws and could never learn no matter how hard Wolf tried to help. He chuckled at the memory and quickly put it aside a little embarrassed at the thought.

Wolf took a few steps closer to the stage and sat at the table closest to it, scanning the bar at the other patrons. There were five. Three with their heads down, one so drunk that he kept swaying from side to side and barbling quiet words. The other was sitting in the far corner booth. Wolf only knew he was there because of a paw that protruded from the shadow, gripping a glass. The rest of the person was obscured. The mercenary inside of Wolf was worried and looked around for quick exits in case anything should happen. He uncliped his blaster for a quick reach, again, just in case. But the patron didn't move except for the occasional sip and Wolf relaxed taking another drink himself.

It felt like a few hours had gone by as Wolf sat there alone, the extremely drunk patron was eventually kicked out of the place by the hare. Now all the noise was the occasional pouring of a drink and the sound of others walking outside. Wolf kept glancing at the piano, every time he felt like getting up and playing but always talked himself down. But once again he looked back. The white and black keys were dirty and dusty, most likely hadn't been touched in years. He looked around, now only three remained, two finishing up their drinks and the one still in the corner booth.

"What harm could it do?" He whispered and stood walking onto the small stage. It drew the eyes of everyone in the bar.

"I'm not that good, haven't played in years but i'll do it." He warned. Inside a few butterfly's filled his stomach, more then if he was going into a firefight. "Damn, I hope I remember."

He placed his paws gingerly on the keys, carefully putting them in the position for a chord. He pressed down and an out of tune mess blurted out of the back, but suddenly changed to a beautiful ringing of a chord.

"Heh, autotuining." Wolf chuckled.

He moved to another chord and pressed sending out a dissonant chord from a wrong note. He quickly changed positions and fixed it. After a few more chords the feeling of playing came back into him and Wolf felt good enough to start to play. He closed his eyes and started to play, just improvising anything that came to his mind. Strangely enough he thought back to his early teens, messing around with his best friend. All the memories came back as he pushed those white keys, giving a voice to the memories that filled his head.

He was so occupied with the piano and being able to play one again he didn't even notice the patron in the corner slip out of his shadow and move to the front of the stage. Sitting with his paw in his face and waiting for it to finish. Wolf kept going, he didn't want to stop. It was too much fun. Something he hadn't done in years and he was loving it. But like all things he had to stop it somewhere and he outlined a chord, moving all the way up the keyboard, ending on the highest note. His paws fell from the keyboard as a single clap came from the bartender.

"I always had two left paws, could never do that." The patron finally said as a shiver shot through Wolf's spine. The voice was familiar, all to familiar in both a good and bad way. Wolf looked at the booth, nobody was there. He looked to the front of the stage and there he was. His childhood friend. Fox McCloud.

"Were always good at that, and anything with using your paws really." Fox said with a sigh and a small half-smile. Wolf was still too stunned to really say anything. First of all, why would Fox, the Galaxy's savior, and the person who had just shot him down not a day ago, be here. Second, why is he not trying to kill or capture him at the moment.

"W...Bu...ho...wh....huh?" Wolf stuttered standing up and moving away from the piano.

"Oh don't worry Wolf, I'm not here to capture you, you can take your paw off the blaster." Wolf kept it there, he had no idea what Fox was playing at. He just sighed.

"Or leave it there. I'm serious, I'm not going to do anything."

"Look Fox, I don't want any trouble ok? You already got me yesterday give it a rest for a bit. Let me enjoy this."

Fox sat back down and propped the side of his head up with his paw and just looked at Wolf. Wolf slowly let his paw down from his blaster.

"Fox, what are you doing?" He asked feeling slightly awkward at having the fox stare at him, considering what they have done. Fox just smiled warmly and took in a deep breath.

"Broke up with Krystal you know." He said bluntly but with a shine in his eyes.

"Y....you and Krystal? You guys broke up?" Wolf was very confused, ever since Fox had gone on that adventure at that dinosaur planet he had been infatuated with the female fox. Also to bring it up at such a weird time was, well, weird. His ear twitched as he told himself to leave the pub, this was defiantly stalling to wait until Cornarian soldiers would barge though that door and capture him.

"Not buying it. Bye." Wolf jumped down from the stage and started after the door but Fox grabbed his paw.

"No please don't! You're right, I did follow you here. I shot you down knowing that you'd get your Wolfen fixed here. But no one else is here! I promise!" Fox looked genuine, much like the face he had grown used to as kids. Wolf lighened up and turned to face Fox, his eye piece twirping.

"I even uploaded a program to your eye-piece" He pointed at Wolfs eye piece. "To lead you to this place." Now wolf was fairly curious as to what was happening.

"Why?"

It was a simple question, straight forward and easy to answer. Except for Fox who dug his heel into the ground a couple times and avoided Wolf's eyes with his own. Suddenly Wolf got what this was about and his heart jumped into his throat.

"Y....You broke up with Krystal, you shot me down carefully shooting so I wouldn't get hurt, you followed me to this bar. You're here to tell me something aren't you." Wolf too a few steps closer to Fox. Though the two of them were only a year apart in age, Wolf being the older one. He stood much taller then the fox, who's tail sank under his legs.

"Heh, would you believe that I've fought thousands of ships, defeated Andross and saved the galaxy yet I can't say what I want to say." Fox still avoided Wolf's eyes but he put his paws on Fox's shoulders.

"I know what you want to say." Wolf quietly mentioned, his voice trailing off a little bit. Fox's ears perked up as Wolf said the words.

"You do? Well...it's pretty obvious I would imagine. You should see the hidden files in my computer." Fox chuckled nervously.

"Yeah I do. And what you need to do is march out that door and go back to your Great Fox. Get back together with Krystal and shut up about this." His paws fell off of Fox's shoulders and he backed away. "If you're expecting an apology you're not going to get it."

Fox balled his paws into a fist and clenched his muscles but they relaxed after he thought about it. "But....Wolf, I really do like you. I mean, ever since we were kids."

Wolf closed his eyes and sighed. He stayed quiet for a long while, looking away from Fox. There was really no denying it, it wasn't like he didn't like the fox for a while either. He was always sweet and kind, willing to do the right thing. Still evident today. But it would ruin his life if he did any sort of thing with him. Any association with him and Fox might find himself behind a jail cell maybe even worse. Wolf opened his eyes and found Fox looking down at the floor. A few more tense moments passed with the two of them in silence as the rest of the patrons watched with intense curiosity. Wolf drew in a deep breath.

"Might as well." He whispered, grabbing Fox's head and raced in for a kiss. The two muzzles met perfectly. Wolf had turned his head so he could press deep into it. Fox stood stunned as his eyes saw Wolf's eyes, surrounded with white fur, closed and passionate about the kiss. He didn't even register the feeling before Wolf stood back trembling. It was another long couple of minutes before the two made it back to looking at each others eyes.

"Come with me." Fox whispered tugging at Wolf's paw.

At this point Wolf really didn't know what to do. He really wanted to go with his childhood crush and spend the night filling out dreams he once had. He also didn't want to endanger Fox with that type of life. After all, these were old feelings that Wolf felt had faded. It obviously never did with Fox, even when he was with Krystal. Fox started toward the door and pulled Wolf's paw with him but Wolf didn't move. He stood looking at the floor where Fox had stood.

"No. This is not going to happen." Wolf, keeping his eyes away from Fox's, started toward the door but the vulpine stepped in front of him to keep him from leaving.

"You have any idea what I've sacrificed to meet you here?" Fox pleaded, ducking to try and see eye to eye with Wolf.

"No I do not, and that is your fault. I didn't ask for this." He growled back. "You're Mr. Goody Two Shoes! I'm the bad guy. You'll get yourself in more trouble than you can imagine. Now bye." Wolf pushed Fox out of the way and rushed out the door, making his way through the crowds as fast as he could so Fox couldn't follow him. He disconnected his holographic eye piece so Fox couldn't hack it anymore and stole a cloak, putting it over himself to hide more.

His mind thought back to the last time the two were together, right before Fox joined the Academy, he promised he'd keep in touch but he never did. Or maybe he did and Wolf never had noticed, not too long after Fox had left Wolf found himself in some money trouble and took a bounty to try and pay it off. Turned out he was fairly good at it so he stuck with it. It was a couple of years later when they met in a dogfight. Wolf remembered he had beat Fox soundly and collected the bounty he was after, but after that Fox quit the Navy and formed Star Fox.

Wolf found an inn, payed in cash, and laid down on the bed thinking about Fox still. He wasn't even sure if he still like liked the fox. Maybe it had just been a phase that he had gone through. They were never actually together, at least in his view. Now though he had Bitches and Vixens in just about every port.

He pulled out his computer and stared at the blank screen for a while until his curiosity got the better of him. Not too long ago Wolf was able to plant a virus inside the Great Fox's computer that gave him access to it. But due to internal firewalls he couldn't get past he was only able to gain access to personal files, stuff that really didn't help him like missions or plans of their systems and ships and he never followed through with it. But now might be a good time. After accessing the Net, Wolf found an uplink and activated his virus.

Wolf found Fox's files and clicked into them. He made a broad search for his name and found the usual entries mainly regarding old whereabouts. He didn't expect to find what he was after using that. He took to finding folders that had recently been opened and bingo there was one labeled "Junk" hidden behind others. What was inside made him blush several hundred drawings of him in various poses and naked.

"Oh."

Suddenly the program notified him that someone was accessing the same files, Wolf booted up the webcam to see and once again he blushed a beet red. It was Fox, fully nude, his cock rock hard as he started to go through the pictures and pleasure himself. Wolf felt extremely uncomfortable, but for all the wrong reasons. His crotch began to grow tight and he couldn't pull himself away. With one paw on the computer he let the other snake down and start to rub against his pants. Fox furiously masturbated until he stopped at one picture, and actual photo that made Wolf jump and want to hide his face even though he was alone. It was a picture of him sprawled on a couch, naked except for a bit of his flight clothes and his canine cock at center stage. Taken by one of his "bitches" in one of the "many ports." How Fox got a hold of it he didn't know.

But by now the fox grabbed something out of a drawer nearby. A dildo shaped exactly like Wolf's penis. Fox lathered it with lube and put the tip to the tail hole, he leaned back and Wolf could read his muzzle saying "Oh Wolf! Give it to me!" Once again his face turned a beet red as he watched Fox push the red dildo deep into himself and eventually climax onto himself and face.

Fox paused and took a few deep breaths, licking his own cum off of his face and paw. Wolf found it incredibly hot and now barely realized he himself was masturbating with the same furiosity as Fox. Throwing his head back and thinking of pounding the vulpine Wolf let out a howl and let himself cum all over his paws and chest, even reaching his face like Fox did. After a couple moments of sitting in silence and watching Fox clean up Wolf shook his head.

"Fuck...."

He composed and cleaned himself off, watching Fox get dressed and leave the room. Wolf just sat there thinking to himself wondering if had done the right thing. Who knows maybe if he had the great Star Fox on his side he could pull off a pardon from Cornaria. But most likely not. That wouldn't have been a good reason to try anyway, too selfish in Wolfs thoughts. He sighed and turned off the computer thinking about his next move. Maybe another meeting would do them good, he was pretty mean to him after Fox went through all that trouble. Yeah...a meeting, just to sort things out once and for all. One more Meeting.
