Zain's Suprise

Zain let out an irritated sigh. He had been sitting on the park bench for an hour watching the people shuffle by. Zain was a short, skinny, white rabbit and was considered rather attractive, even by other males. He had a rather feminine physique and had gotten bullied constantly through high school, even by other rabbits. Because of his lack of masculinity, the other kids all thought he was gay and teased him mercilessly. Zain had no real friends, and he usually spent his evenings sitting around the park, so that his parents wouldn't be too concerned about his social life.

Now it was his senior year, and he had gotten tired of being picked on. The last straw had come the other day in gym class, when Turk, the quarterback on the school football team, had decided to steal his clothes while he was in the shower and toss them into the trash. Zain had been forced to walk out naked, the other boys jeering and calling him names. Turk was a lion, and extremely muscled, meaning that there was absolutely no way on Earth that Zain could get him back. The little rabbit boy had gone home that night and cried himself to sleep, but when he woke up the next day, his sorrow had turned to a burning desire for revenge. If he couldn't beat Turk with brawn, he might be able to do so with brain power!

Zain had thought about setting up a prank of some sort, but in the end that would mean he still got his ass beat up when the lion figured out that the rabbit was responsible. Next he considered more drastic measures... like killing the bully. In the end, he decided to go with the latter route. But he had never used a gun before, and the thought of stabbing Turk seemed rather unappealing. He had spent the entire day thinking it over, barely paying attention in class and even managing to ignore the taunts from the football players about how cute he was looking. At the end of the day he rushed home, an idea having come to him during his typing class. Perhaps the internet held the answer!

He had scarfed down dinner, his parents looking at him concernedly as they watched the salad his mom had fixed vanish down his throat.

"Are you all right son?" His father inquired as Zain excused himself from the table, "You usually don't eat quite so... quickly." Zain had simply laughed, assuring his father that he was just extremely hungry that day, and then rushed up the stairs to his room, shutting and locking the door behind him. The young rabbit sat down at his computer, immediately beginning a search for ways to kill someone. Almost immediately he found what he was looking for, a link that read "Want to kill someone and never get caught? Try one of these!" Zain clicked it enthusiastically, practically hopping up and down with excitement. When the link led him to a site that sold exotic plants, Zain let out a disappointed groan. How was he supposed to kill someone with a stupid plant?

He was about to leave the page and search again, when something caught his eye. On the rightmost corner of the screen, there was a picture of an enormous plant, similar to a Venus fly trap. The plant was a dull green with an enormous orb shaped bulb in the middle. The bulb was split down the middle, like some freakish mouth, and Zain could see that the inside was a dark red, like gums in a person's mouth. Situated around the bulb were several long, thick tentacles, each tapering off toward the end. Beneath the picture was a small caption which read "Carnivorous Audrynita Venusia plant" Zain read onward, smiling to himself as the words "Danger" and "Man-eating" seemed to leap out of the screen at him. Something like that would be perfect! He could plant a small one and grow it until it was ready, and then feed that jerk Turk to it!

Suddenly Zain remembered something. The young rabbit didn't have much money, only about twenty dollars, and the plant was two hundred and twenty. With a sigh, Zain walked over to his bed, reaching underneath, producing a small shoebox. He opened it up, revealing a slip of paper with a series of numbers written on it. It was his parent's credit card number. He had gotten a hold of it some months earlier, writing it down and putting it underneath his bed, in case of an emergency. Now he had decided that this was enough of an emergency, and proceeded to use the number to purchase the plant. A screen popped up, informing him that it would arrive in two days, and that he should make arrangements and take proper precautions (Whatever that meant). He let out a soft laugh, rubbing his paws together maniacally. That bully was finally going to get what was coming to him!

The next day, Zain followed Turk home from school, keeping just far enough back that the lion wouldn't know he was there. The bunny watched Turk walk up the front steps to his house and go in before he allowed himself to laugh. Now he knew where Turk lived! Zain rushed home, thinking about tomorrow and how it would change everything. Any thought about his parent's reaction to his purchase was pushed to the back of his mind. The next day, Zain got up and hurried off to school, barely able to concentrate on his studies and waiting impatiently for the end of the day. When the school bell finally rang, announcing the end of classes, the rabbit boy rushed home, running down the streets of his neighborhood like a bat out of hell.

When he finally arrived home, the front door was standing mysteriously open. It wasn't at all like his parents to leave the door that way, especially since it was the middle of fall and the temperature was quite cold. Zain looked over in the driveway of their two story, suburban home. His dad's red Honda and his mother's beat up old SUV were parked there, indicating that they were both home. Zain walked tentatively up to the door, peaking his head inside and looking around. Nothing seemed out of the norm at first glance, and a quick sniff of the air produced no suspicious scents.

"Mom? Dad?" Zain called, stepping inside and shutting the door behind him. The house was deathly quiet and Zain felt a cold shiver run up his spine. His parents were ALWAYS home by now, unless something terrible had happened... The young bunny tried to push the thought from his head. There was nothing missing, so there hadn't been a robbery. Suddenly, something caught his eye. Sitting in the floor was his mother's dress, torn down the back as though it had been ripped off her. The bunny let out a whimper, fearing just what could have happened to his dear mother. Zain crept across the floor, making a line for the phone. Suddenly the rabbit's feet were pulled out from under him, sending him tumbling.

For a moment, Zain was too stunned to move. The rabbit became terrified, as he felt himself being pulled backwards across the carpet. The snowy furred bunny tried to grab something, anything to stop himself. He began to scream and cry for help as he was slowly pulled toward the kitchen. The rabbit looked over his shoulder, his eyes growing huge. There was no thief or murderer behind him, instead he saw only a thick green vine wrapped around his ankles, pulling him steadily backwards. For a moment Zain was too stunned to speak, his cries for help cutting off abruptly. At last the rabbit was tugged through the swinging doors that his mother had been so proud of and into the kitchen.

What he saw filled the poor little rabbit's heart with terror. There in the middle of the kitchen was an enormous plant, the very same as the one he had bought of the internet. What looked like a gigantic mouth opened in the middle of the plant's gargantuan green body, from this came the vines which were currently pulling the rabbit in. To his left Zain could see a long, fat, tube-like vine. Within this vine were two large bulges, each wiggling frantically and emitting muffled screams. The tube tightened slightly, the image of his mother's face pressing out against it, frozen into a scream. Zain immediately began to yell and cry, struggling against the plant with all his might. His struggles were for nothing however, the plant's vines being much stronger than the puny rabbit. Zain felt his legs being lifted up, then his entire body was lifted into the air, the bunny being held upside down in front of that yawning maw. Zain began to cry and sob, pleading with the plant, begging it not to eat him.

Unfortunately for the rabbit, plant's don't have ears, and the monstrous one in that kitchen was far too hungry to listen even if it did. More vines pushed their way from the plant's maw, these being covered in a thick digestive slime. Zain tried to swat the slimy vines away, but after only a few moments he found his arms held by the slimy tendrils, thus completely immobilizing the rabbit. Tears streamed down Zain's cheeks as he helplessly watched the plant's vines snake their way beneath his clothes, tearing and ripping them away. Before he knew it, Zain was completely nude, hovering over the plant's open mouth. The carnivorous herb began to pull the rabbit closer and closer to its mouth.

Zain let out a gasp as one of those slimy vines suddenly slid along his bottom, parting the helpless rabbit's butt cheeks, exposing his puckered tail hole. Zain knew exactly what was coming, and he could do nothing but grit his teeth and clench his fists as the plant slid a slime coated vine up his tail hole. Suddenly Zain felt the tip of the vine within him begin to swell and inflate, the plants own way of ensuring that he would be unable to escape once he had been pulled down into the digestive pouch. The rabbit groaned in discomfort, an extreme pressure inside him. Another vine began to push against the rabbit's tightly sealed mouth. Zain whimpered and tried to turn his head away. The plant would have none of it though, a final vine slipping around Zain's throat and starting to squeeze. The rabbit quickly found his ability to turn his head taken away, and that slimy tendril beginning to slip between his lips. Zain let out one, last terrified scream as the plant pried his mouth open, the vine sliding into his muzzle. The taste was terrible, something akin to old bread and hay, making him want to puke. The rabbit tried to bite the tendril, but his teeth were completely useless against the tough, fibrous vine. The tip began to swell, like the one up his rear, slowly inflating and stretching out the poor rabbit's jaw until he thought it would break.

With the squirming rabbit firmly held by the inflated vines, the plant began to slowly lower him. Zain sobbed profusely, the poor rabbit filled with terror as he stared down into the plant's gaping maw. At last the Zain began to slip into the plant's maw, finding it to be wet and squishy, almost like the mouth of some great animal. The rabbit struggled as much as he could, but it did him little good. Zain suddenly felt the vines binding his arms and legs release, just as the plant's shell like mouth closed around him, enveloping Zain in the squishy, wet darkness. The rabbit's fur was quickly soaked through with digestive juices, the slipper walls around him beginning to squeeze in, acting almost like throat muscles as they pushed him downward, toward the sack where his parents were already being digested. As the bunny was pushed downward, he felt the sack walls tighten around his feet, then his legs and waist, the bunny slowly sliding downward. At last the rabbit found himself within the confines of the plant's digestive sack, the slimy juices beginning to make his skin tingle. He let out a muffled sob as the entrance to the digestive sack closed tight behind him. Zain tried to wiggle, to struggle, but the sack walls were too elastic for him to break through, and so tight that he was barely able to move. Suddenly his insides began to burn, almost like having heartburn throughout his digestive system. The rabbit let out a scream as he realized the plant was secreting its digestive enzymes inside him as well, digesting him from the inside out as well.

As Zain's skin began to burn, he let out a defeated moan. One line from the online order form popped into his mind. He recalled that the plant took about a week to digest its prey, and that the prey was usually alive for the first two days, which meant two days of agony for Zain and his parents. From outside all that could be seen was one more wiggling lump in the plant's digestive sack. No one would miss the little bunny, and his dad was not due in to work tomorrow. Thus the poor bunny's fate was sealed, and the plant he had intended to use to kill his tormentor, turned out to be Zain's own killer.
