Asgard Felines - Prologue: Midgard's war
Once upon a time, there was a world, created from human and animal shaped gods, known as Æsir. They created different worlds, separated from various barriers and split them from different creatures: Asgard, the kingdom of the Æsir and Vanir, feline shaped gods who created and protect the world of Midgard, world of the mortal humans, the land and the sea, created for serving them, and Jötunheim, the giants home world, where the Æsir were born and where they lived before creating the worlds. Under all these worlds, there was the wasteland of Nieflheim, realm of the demons, undead and rejected gods from Asgard. One day, on Midgard, valkyries appeared without any explainable cause between their people. These valkiries, daughters of Odin, decided to stay by orders of their father... Their story starts like this:
Â
One day, thousands, even millions of days after of the worlds were split, Asgard was a realm full of safety and prosperity, because the gods lived under the Tree of Life, Yggdrasil. As time went by, the grey stone castle the gods with a rainbow bridge created as a home, known as Heimdall, sourrounded by a village where the gods lived on each house, turned into a big building set on the lowest part of the tree, with different buildings made of metal and glass where used to be each god's office headquarter and where they picked every pleas, tributes and duties, from Odin or the mortals. Odin, head chief of Asgard and the Æsir, had only one eye, his body was the shape of a big grey tiger, known for his revengeful temper but, even so, with a great sense of justice.  One day, thousands of years ago, he saw how most of the souls didn't reach to heaven, Valhalla as they name it, or that Asgard wasn't well defended enough so the Ragnarok, the end of the days, could arrive and wipe out all the worlds. For solving such a problem, he created her daughters, the valkyries. These were strong warriors, dressed with light but resistant as steel armors, each mastered a weapon which they chose, and also the gifted power of healing any wound, if they had enough will for it, apart from the bell they dressed on the neck, which identified each of them and, at the same time, made them look more beautiful. Their beauty was incredible: thin as sticks but thick as old trees, with an excellent flexibility and agility, also their skill to transform into real kitties for stealthy or distraction purposes. They were the perfect healers, defenders and warriors for their purpose on the heaven of warriors: Valhalla.
Odin was always worried about one of his most precious treasures: A big and thick book, with blue leather covers, decorated with gold cast corners and a front showing a target of 4 rings, representing the different worlds.
That weird but important book was called the ‘Book of Cosmos'. Odin could establish what he calls Universal Order, as he made the worlds through the writings of that book. If this book was on wrong hands, the only thing that would be on the whole universe was absolute chaos.
Odin made a fortress where valkyries could live, but also train them under the care of Freya. The fortress was built on Valhalla, so they could take care of the defeated human souls, the Einhenjar, at the same time they protected the Book of Cosmos. The building was mainly black, surrounded by a big green garden over a river that acted as a moat, and the shape from the sky was the same of a four tip star one, with a marble-like finish that what was real black steel made on Asgard. As an entrance, there were four doors, pointing each cardinal point, and made of indestructible metal, that only Thor's hammer, Mjollnir, could tear them. The outside walls were full of windows, for patrolling and natural light source, while the inside was incredible, because it was the valkyries training center. The basement was where the Book of Cosmos was hidden, protected by several patrol shifts a day by some of the valkyries. Odin called this fortress "Bastion of Cosmos".
Freya turned into the mother of the kitties known as valkyries, and so she taught them the basics of living and human behavior. Odin named the first 10 Einhenjar who reached to Valhalla as generals of the valkyries, in case that a war between the chaotic Nieflheim and the holy Asgard, or worse, Ragnarök could happen.
Â
These generals, who obtained feline shapes while they were named, were called Baldur, Didrik, Farman, Geirvald, Karl, Nante, Rodhulf, Sanfred, Tyris y Vallmar. Each one had fought in lots of battles, and most of them were village chiefs who died as nobles, except Vallmar or Geirvald, who didn't. As years passed, generals obeyed all the orders said by Odin through his two counselor ravens, mostly were picking fallen soldier souls, patrols on the book or fights of Nieflheim troops on Jötunheim. Even Valhalla was heaven and the warriors could do everything they wanted, valkyries didn't know lots of things about humans, even the primal urge called "sex", although they knew what Love meant. Freya, even she was wise, didn't let the valkyries have that knowledge for not turning them curious or not appropriate, specially with the beauty her daughters had. Valkyries also had human female names to fulfill the Einhenjar while they were taking care of them: Hilde, Babba, Adela, Bereta...
Â
But one peaceful and quiet day on the Valhalla, everything changed. Vallmar, one of the Einhenjar generals, was upset for working for Odin until doomsday, also that he wasn't allowed to do things to the kitties, things that only occurred on his dark mind of a warrior. Vallmar, after a day of hard work, buffed in front of a mirror on his house and said "I wish I was powerful like Odin or his brother Thor... I wish I had my own army!"
Every day, when he rested, he looked at himself on the mirror, although he spent time drinking sweet mead until he was smashed. One day, while he was whining in front of the mirror, a shadow appeared on his back, on the other side of the corridor he was, like a strange silhouette: It had two legs, purple fur and canine body marks, wolf ones to be more accurate. Vallmar looked at the strange guest, who smiled and said "You wish the power of the gods, right, Vallmar?"
The feline general said "How do you know my name? Did Odin sent you to watch me?
The female wolf smiled with a warm grin, shaking her head and replying "Of course not... my name is Jertti, and I've come from the deep so my master Loki deals with you a job... a job better than babysitting those kitties.
Vallmar growled as he wrapped his fingers on the hilt of his dear sword, until he realized the offer would be interesting. The dark fur cat huffed, asking "What kind of job is offering your... chief, then?"
Jertti got close to the deceased soldier, hugging him and getting her lips close to his, showing a teasing expression on her face and saying with a sweet voice "Your own army, also all the females and wine you want. But, of course, as a deal, you have to give something in change" then she placed her mouth on one of his cat ears, whispering "The Book of Cosmos"
The Einhenjar pushed the wolf girl, saying "Are you crazy!? That's Odin's book!" while he grabbed the hilt of the sword, almost about to unsheathe it.
Jertti kept her devious smile, saying "Giving you the power of the gods you can't have? Well, then I shall find another twit who will agree"
Vallmar growled as he didn't like to be called anything related to his brain. He closed his eyes for a minute while the guest turned around and walked away, until he shouted "I'll do it... but you will have to make a diversion on Midgard if you want me to get that big bunch of pages.
The wolf smiled, grabbing a little bottle that was hanging from a necklace she had on her neck, while the little flask was hidden between her breasts, saying "If someone gets in the middle, use this, it's a powerful sleeping poison, it can make a god sleep eternally."
Vallmar picked the flask with the necklace and placed it on his neck, valking on his house with a serious face. Jertti smiled, opening the door, closing it after with a smash and disappearing instantly.
Â
Meanwhile, on the Bastion of Cosmos, one of the valkyries walked showing her firm on the corridors, while much others ran side to side to fill their tasks, such as patrolling or learning. The young valkyrie set her red and black plaque armor with golden marquees, covering her breasts while she had a nice thong covering her under while she fixed her ponytail, the same color of her silver fur, showing a serious expression with her blue greenish curve shaped eyes, shaking her tail that carried a red lace with golden spikes on it. Her name was Hilde, one of the best and known warriors of Valhalla, and known inside the Bastion. Her fame started with her astonishing marks and the huge slay of demons she did during a practice mission on Jötunheim. While Hilde walked through that "school", she saw a group of valkyrie fans, cheering her up as she crossed next to them, as she was a nice example how a valkyrie should be. Hilde laughed pridefully, closing her eyes until she stepped into somebody in front of her. Hilde stepped back but she could balance her body to avoid falling, so she growled, looking down and saying "You..." but when she lifted her eyes, she realized it was Tyris, one of the Einhenjar generals.
Hilde blushed heavily, looking voiceless and paralyzed, while the truth is she really appreciated that general, she even felt love for him. She appreciated him so much, she could only say with a low voice "Master Tyris..."
Tyris had white fur, blonde hair and a nice pair blue eyes, but she looked at Hilde quite shocked, asking her "Are you alright, Hilde?"
Hilde felt happy, so the nerves made her feel nervous, because she felt how he knew her name. She might looked a bloodthirsty warrior girl, but she had her heart. The kitty stopped trembling, smiling, followed by a happy face saying with a sweet voice "Yes, thank you..."
Tyris smiled as he looked the sunbeams entering the windows and saying to Hilde "Shall we have lunch together? I have my own lunchbox, I don't like the food of the cafeteria here."
Hilde felt her mind buzzed, think if he was flirting with her, but she shook her head up and down fast, answering "S...Sure, I got mine too" showing a fuchsia lunchbox with a small skull pattern over it.
Hilde loved Tyris, not only for his handsomeness and determination, but also he was sweet and educated, something he understood when he obtained the gods hospitality. Tyris remembered his death, but he didn't like to talk about it, as he didn't find that a good topic for conversation. As a human, he was the son of a ruthless lord of war, different from him, but who obtained the heritage and mastery of the long sword from his family blood. As the couple crossed the crowd of the Bastion, Hilde walked with her thin legs, looking forward a bit blushed as she felt Tyris next to her.
After reaching the doors, these opened, letting them pass to the gardens where some vakyries were practicing their skills outside, enjoying the sunny noon that was right now. Hilde walked feeling the breeze, finding a white marble bench on the path of the gardes. Tyris smiled as he sat and opened his lunchbox: He had a slice of smoked salmon and sandwiches, while Hilde, who loved eating everything in one single munch, she had exotic rice balls, a square omelette and a bottle of mineral water. Hilde looked at the salmon with her mouth watering, like attracted to it, saying "Looks tasty..." as a drop of saliva hanged from her lips.
Tyris kept smiling "I cook it myself, want a bite?" making Hilde blush as she replied with a murr while she nodded.
The kitty shook her head up and down, as he picked the fork, cut a piece of the slice and pinched it, placing it on Hilde's mouth. She closed her mouth as she munched it and made a sound of tastiness, showing how well cooked it was. Hilde smiled after swallowing the fish and seconds later, she looked at Tyris blushed, trying to say "Master Tyris... I always wanted to know..." like if she wanted to make a question.
Tyiris smiled, saying "Just call me Tyris, no novelties" making her blush harder and nod.
Hilde looked to the ground, shaken by the nerves, while she was eating, saying "Tyris, as a human you were... I always wondered... what os that thing that Mother Freya doesn't explain us... that thing called... sex?"
Tyris shocked for a second, almost choking by the piece of food he was chewing, saying between pants "S...Sex!? Then you girls are really virgins..."
Hilde looked at him, with a worried expression, as she asked something she or the rest of her valkyrie sisters shouldn't know. Tyris took a breath and explained from the beginning to the end what was the primal urge of reproduction... or what he knew, at least. Hilde was amazed for such information, from where do kitties come from to how it could be a pleasurable experience. The lesson lasted for hours, until the sun almost set on the west. The valkyrie kitty stood up after understanding everything Tyris said, saying "Thanks, Tyris... see you tomorrow" with a deep red shine covering her face, her heart beating really fast and a buzz crossing all her body, thinking "Maybe that's why Mother Freya never explained this to us... poor mortal mothers, they might suffer more than we fighting" comparing their prideful spirit with the protective and stern one from a mother.
Hilde walked through the gardens as dusk came in, so she decided to go to the lake of the waterfall at the north of the Bastion, which was like a pool for the vakyries. She crossed a trail filled with trees until she reached to the crystal like waters, showing the orange taint of the sky as it was getting darker. The waterfall filled up the lake, and turned into a stream that surrounded the Bastion. Hilde liked to bath on those fresh waters oftenly, so she walked on the shore of the lake, removing her whole thin armor, except the bell, which only wore off when she went to sleep. She looked at her own naked body: Two well sized round breasts, plain belly, slinky limbs... and her intimate place, which always called her attention until today, when she discovered its only purpose: Pure self pleasure.
The kitty sat on the floor, soaking her body as she rubbed it with some herbs she found, using them as soap. She always cleaned up her body roughly, cleaning her wounds or bloodstains she could find on her fur. Then, she started cleaning her breasts, with pink nipples, until she rushed the "soap" on then. Â She felt a pleasure wave which she and her sisters were banned to feel. She passed her hands over these, petting her short fur and feeling their shape and weight, while she pinched the pink nipples curiously. Those pinches made her moan and meow faintly, while one of her hands, moved by her instinct, slipped to her own unexplored crotch. One of the fingers started to check the fleshy lips that was made of, then another finger came to the party, checking both labia: touching the zone between then, entering both of them a bit, finding the clitoris so she felt small blasts of pleasure running her spine and later on her whole body. Those fingers started to get deeper inside her moist walls in a slow pace. Hilde moaned and meowed wildly while she touched and pressed her lift breast, as the fingers inside her moved in and out like crazy. Then, the warrior closed her eyes, dreaming about the thing she most loved: Tyris. She imagined the general's naked body, with a scar or two, while his blonde mane floated and his eyes shined charmed her. With that image of him inside her feline calculating mind, she thought her thin and skillful fingers was the love of her dreams, while she figured how he moved his hips with hers with a dream cock, as the same time she panted, moaned and breathed heavily while she figured his voice growling, whispering and panted, apart from kisses, cuddles and such, just with her imagination. As he repeated the process, she started to scream, followed by an intense meowing noise, as she reached her ever first orgasm.
Her pussy started to spew a milky, thick fuild that soaked and stained her han as drops started to come out of her. She looked at her hands, while she was panting, and put her fingers inside her mouth as she opened her eyes to taste her own fluids, as a sticky stench spread over her tongue. The kitty looked at the goo she left on the ground, so she cleaned up her body on the waters of the lake, followed by cleaning that goo on the ground later with the water. Hilde dried her creamy silver fur, as she putted on her armor with a blushed face, after discovering such an exciting and thrilling experience, so she walked to the Bastion when the night already came, as the path back to it was lightened by moonlight.
Hilde entered the Bastion so she could reach to her bedroom, shared with her other sisters of her squad. Each squad refer to their members as sisters, because Oin made them in various numbers. Each sister, like humans, had different age, intelligence and skills. Hilde was the leader of her squad, and he hoped her sisters were awake to tell what happened to her. Walking through the corridors, she found the door of her room, opening it. She found her her sisters talking about crushes and everything, like every night, then they looked to the door, noticing it was Hilde, so they al said "Boss!", smiling for her arrival. Suddenly, a pink fur kitty jumped from her bed, hugging Hilde tight and shouting "Sisteeeer!!!"
This kitty hugged Hilde hardly, giving her a lick on the cheek, making her blush in embarrassment. This pink kitty was smaller, with round blue eyes, pink and silver armor and a piece that looked a skirt made of scales, was named Agnetta, and she knew Hilde so good, she called her as a real sister so far, sharing secrets. She mastered the knives, as she carried them on the belits from her armor. Seconds after the sweet hug, she left Hilde, smiling and asking her "Sis, where have you been!? You almost missed our pajama party!!!"
Hilde sighed shocked and blushed, looking at the innocent eyes of his sister. Hilde suddenly questioned herself if she had to explain what she learned today to the rest of her sisters, who were sitting on a circle all together. She finally thought the best thing was not to tell them, thinking that the better moment was when they asked some questions more frequently, like where do kitties come from. After her thoughts, she answered Agnetta with a smile, saying
"I went training and have a bath on the lake, that's all"
Agnetta grabbed Hilde's arm, saying smiling like a child "Then come here, we have lots of things to talk about!"
Hilde was next to Agnetta in the circle, listening how the kitties tell stories of what happened today, since it was the only moment of the ay they could talk, like students. Hilde had other 8 sisters apart from Agnetta, and they were just a squad of the hundreds that the valkyrie army had. The sisters were called: Ceres, an expert of the Morgenstern mace with white fur and short hazel hair. Elda, a black furred kitty with purple eyes, and master of the longbow, Gitta, mistress of the spear with blue grayish fur that boasted a nice strength, Lia, who had slim chains but as sharp as steel  as she moved her brown furred body and coal colored eyes, hidden under her long hair, Tella, blonde furred and locked brown hair and who had no rival with small sword and shield she wielded, Rekka, with a blonde braid over her orange and white fur and who used a pistol made and customized by her during her training, Yrsa, with ginger hair and white fur, she used a staff to summon the power of the fire and smash enemies at the same time, and Astrid, with white and ochre fur and plain blonde hair, used a very long whip made out of a fine steel thread, which was also sharp.
After the tales, stories and so on, the kitties felt sleepy, so each one went to their respective beds, also Hilde, who covered herself with the huge mattress of her also big bed. She looked to the ceiling of the room, worried and blushed, thinking on Tyris, she laid to a side, covered her head on the quilt and closed her sweet blue-green eyes.
Â
The next day, the sun appeared, burning and scorching as a giant wolf chased it as a big rubber ball. Vallmar, the einhenjar general, woke up and ran to the center of Heimdall, saying to the rest of Einhenjar general and the gods that the demons from Nieflheim would attack Midgard, but this was, in the end, a plan he had to make a diversion so he could stole the Book of Cosmos while the valkyries fought into the battle. Vallmar explained them the reasons of the assault, and so, how humans couldn't defend from them, so the only way to defend the humans was sending divine forces, in other words, the Valkyries. The argument lasted a while, when Odin listened to his counselor ravens, Hugin and Muning, even his god brothers and the einhenjar didn't found any logic to Vallmar's explanation. The one eyed supreme god closed the eye, thinking on the decision of moving her daughters out to the mortal world. The ravens tried to convince Odin that Vallmar must be planning something, but the god didnit' hear the good advice from his counselors.
Â
This step not only started the appearance of divine creatures on the mortal world, but also started the war of Midgard, the war of demons, undead and giants against the gods and mankind.
Meanwhile, on Midgard, the world of the humans, the day was sunny and quiet on most of it, specially on a city of the coast, while a cargo boat was loading its ware on the port. Then, clouds started to merge and fuse quickly, mixing with a weird wind with the smell of sea salt. These clouds started to get darker, and the sea started to show bigger waves every second, until thunders struck from the clouds to the sea. The working crew of the port were amused, because the forecast didn't said such a violent and unexpected change of the weather that day.
And so, the terrible weather unveiled something new: Far away, big, ethereal ships appeared, like ghost ships. The port control office checked the strange ships from the coast, until they realized there was something terrifying on the deck of those ships: Monstrous creatures and undead people, with the looks from sci-fi stories or movies and dressing military robes from very different times. The assault was about to begin.
As the ships reached the coast, they disembarked, showing the horde-like army: rotten flesh beings, with darken muscles and yellowed bones only hanging by the few strings they had, also their organs could be seen, tainted by darkness as it flowed from their blood, making primal sounds from their mouths. Undead soldiers showed their weapons, from swords or brass knuckles to actual fireweapons. The sea started to shake the coast with strong waves, as a whirlpool appeared several feet from the port, showing a long creature with reptilian features: It was a sea serpent, with white and blue scales and a big golden crest over its head. As the ghost ships and undead soldiers deployed, a red light came out from each ship, making an oval shaped portal with scarlet fog coming out from it, showing an intense light coming from it. From the portal, more and more minions of Nieflheim appeared, so they reached easily to Migard. The sea beast shrieked, shaking its huge flippers, then it looked to the port, carrying its head back, to boast a impressive but deafening scream, making the people of the port block their ears, followed by a big streak of wind that made so powerful waves, the docked ships collided each other and some of them sank, turning the place into a total wipeout. The maker of that destruction was named Leviathan.
Â
A boy appeared over the head of the serpent, slim long legs, wide hips and chest, wearing a single piece of cloth made of resistant metallic thread of purple color. She wielded a curve blade spear, decorated by a serpent head. She had hazel fur, marine blue eyes, the nose from a German shepherd and dark brown plain short hair. Her name was Sirin and she was the guardian and summoner of the giant sea serpent. She looked how her pet was wrecking havoc, with a ear between grin on her face, babbling "Poor humans... you can't finish what hatred has made, and soon you shall see" as she made a maniac laughter, followed by a thunder that struck the sea.
The dock employees ran to the next phones to the police and the army and explain what was going on. The media networks soon started to know about the situation and they filled the zone with a barrier of news trucks all over the place.
A squad of the army reached with a tank hours after the deploy of the zombie army to deal with the attack going on the coast. The news from all Midgard tried to guess and explain the unusual event, showing videos of the serpent rushing the sea with tidal waves and tornadoes, while the undead army spread on the coast and invaded the towns next to it, making the people from them run scared.
When the human army arrived, they started to recon one of the villages, finding one of the waves of undead. The storm made the sky fill out of thick grey clouds, flashing thunders from then and making the air tasted salty because of the sea water. The teared army of undead got next to the forces, showing their weapons from each different class and age. One of the captains, looking the hollow eyes of their enemies, gave the order of fire. A rain of bullets coming from machine guns and assault rifles filled the air between both armies, making those shots cross the zombies and fall like passed bags of meat and flesh. Five minutes later, two soldiers checked the carcasses for the report. One of the fallen enemies stood up on its arms, jumping to one of the human soldiers backs for trying to bite the neck of his unfortunate victim. Then, the dark rotten limbs started to move themselves and crawl to the pile of bodies, reattaching to where they used to be as if it was magic. One of the generals was shocked at the scene, so the rest of the squad moved back to a school nearby, locking the doors so they could hide from that devious wretched horde.
News suddenly came fastly to Asgard too. A messenger ran hard through the rainbow bridge of the main building Heimdall, where gods we listening to the information Vallmar was giving.Aquella cadena de acontecimientos llegó enseguida a Asgard. The young servant opened both doors to the meeting room with a smashing noise, shouting that Midgard was under attack by Nieflheim forces. Odin, after listening what he wanted, he opened his eyes and exclaimed "Then, most of the valkyrie forces, not all of them, shall go to Midgard to destroy the demonic army and the supposed Leviathan."
A chain of alarms started to sound on the whole land of Vahalla, calling all the valkyries to move out for Asgard. On the briefing, while gods and Einhenjar were preparing the field and tactics, Vallmar smiled, looking how his trick was working, fulfilling the task he was given and so he could control his own army thanks to the deal he made with the enemies.
Â
Before moving out, each squad chief received from the Einhenjar their each position and objectives on a command room, then they gathered their sisters to explain each objective step by step. Each squad could finish the mission on every way possible, if it was admitted, after the deployment on the mission.
The valkyries ran outside the Bastion, reaching the limits of Valhalla, looking at a big wall made of thich grey clouds. The kitties jumped to the wall, crossing it and opening their wings, appearing on the skies of Midgard in a blink. Â The whole army, a whole pack of kitties with armor and metallic wings, was shining as the sunlight crossed the white clouds. The squads checked the skies, finding the storm, until they found a big grey mass shining with the lightning coming from it. The army went straight to the place, rushing the skies down like shooting stars, as they landed making small blasts on the ground. Each squad was spread in different places so they could defend each village from the attack of the undead.
Some soldiers looked those armors shine as they went down, like shooting stars, and turning into the valkyrie kitties they were. Some generals were amazed, trying to guess where did those forces came from.
Â
Hilde, who landed clearly, stood up, looking how the rest of her sisters arrived after her. They were in front of a house, wasted by the winds of the storm, as their fluffy furs started to shake with such gale. The kitties walked slowly through the village, following a path that guided them to the sea. Other squads fight and defended the villages while others tried to go forward to cross that devious crowd of rotten flesh. The squad leader ran with her other 9 sisters, until they reached to tone of the towns. The streets were filled with zombies, gurgling and groaning as they walked with their skinny boned corpses. Hilde sighed disgusted as she looked those beings, so she ordered to her sisters "Remember, they are undead people, so use silver cast blades and bullets!"
Her sisters nodded, so each of them showed their weapons, shining with a beauty glee of silver: Hilde showed her huge two-handed sword, with a decorated blade and the leather-locked hilt, Agnetta grabbed two skillful and shiny daggers, Ceres growled, showing her two side axe with curvy edges and markings on the body of these, Elda showed her silver composite bow as she loaded it with a grey silver bow, concentrating for the battle, Gitta hold her spear, with a wide pointy top, making the markings on the body shined with a blue spark, Lia shook her arms, showing her string like cutting chains, Tella hit the silver sword with her shield she wielded, decorated with a circle that showed lightning coming from it, Rella grabbed a magazine from her hip belt and loaded the gun, cocking it fast and aiming it right to the enemy, Yrsa put her staff on one of her hands, closing her eyes and whispering words, making her weapon burn and, at last, Astrid unrolled her whip, moving it and lashing it so the air was cut, making invisible cuts. The squad was ready to roll and attack the crowd of zombies which was a simple army of weaklings controlled by the enemy.
Â
Hilde pointed her sword to the enemy, shouting "For Asgard, my sisters!!!" and they started to charge the enemy, following their squad leader.
The leader swung his huge sword, breaking apart several enemies with fast sudden slashes, making their tainted bones burn and slowly turned into dark dust, until she noticed that an amount of enemies were charging to her, so she closed her eyes, setting the sword in front of her and whispered arcane words sweetly. The edge of her blade started to glow, grabbing it as she roared and ran to the group of infernal warriors. She crossed the enemies without any effort, as slashes were heard everywhere next to her. Then, Hilde put her sword on her back, paralyzing all the enemies and making them fall in two halves, sliding at each other and falling into mounts of blackened ash.
Agnetta was stabbing each attacking undead neck and chest with her daggers, so they fell to the ground with their last breath, then she started to rotate on herself, slitting every torso next to her, until she jumped high, looking another wave of enemies, so she took several knives from her belts and threw them to the air. The small knives were as silent as sighs but they crossed the chest of Loki's servants, so they bumped and turned into dying burned dust.
Ceres started to clutch her awe to the ground, so the tremors made by this made his enemies fell to the ground, then she started to crush his enemies with powerful chops from her dear weapon, spreading ashes above the ground, until she looked another wave of enemies incoming. She groaned, her axe's hilt started to glow and then she made a slash forward. A big yellow cut gone forward, crossing the zombies, making their bones glow, seconds after they blew off into clouds of passed ashes.
Elda loaded her bow, so when she shot the arrows, the armors of the zombies were broke like butter to a knife thanks to her swift shots, even some of them lose their heads and fell by their body. When she saw a huge undead creature, boasting a giant club, she shot, with great accuracy, the legs of that freak, so it fell on its legs, then she loaded a last arrow, which was shining, releasing the string and making a big wave of light that wiped out that mastodon in a breeze. Gitta looked how one of the zombies was getting close to her, so she stood up with her spear, running and piercing her enemy, so it turned into a cloud of dust seconds later, followed by a whole wave which tried to seize her but who were pierced by her too.
Lia moved her chains fastly as she was covered by undead from different ages, then with a scream, she extended one of her arms, piercing one of the enemies with it and pulling it, shaking it and using it as a chained ball to the rest of the attackers.
Tella started to charge with her huge shield in front of her, roaring while her shield glowed white and made a huge rectangle made of light and rushing through the enemies, which were burned by the effect of the shield of light and her small but sharp sword. Suddenly, she heard some heavy steps, feeling a 6 feet tall shadow covering her, so she turned and looked a big zombie, covered in a hood and spewed green goo with terrible screams of terror. The warrior sighed and ran next to the hooded giant, stabbing abd leaving her sword on the freak's chest, but then, she started hitting her opponent with bashes of her shield, grabbing the hilt of his short sword, pushing it deeper, turning that zombie into a big mass of dust and ashes made by the silver.
Rekka looked at a strong zombie, who wielded a huge ax, and this tried to slash the kitty. She swayed the brutal cuts her enemy tried to do. At the end, the furious enemy grabbed the rusty weapon, setting it at its back with the rest of the muscles he had on the arms, opening the jaw from the skull that was his head before, but the gunslinger, with her speed, rushed the legs of her enemy with a low kick, so it fell by its own and its arms teared off. The kitty pressed one of her heels over the chest of the undead warrior, aiming to its head, shooting three clear shots to its head and so the big body vanished slowly with the wind from the ash it was made.
Yrsa started to hit the heads with her staff, as she shot fireballs from it to keep the enemies away, until she was surrounded. Then she started to rotate her staff, making two balls of fire appeared from them, turning into two long whips of fire that she controlled with her staff and burned all the enemies in a breeze, so she gave them each the finishing blow with a bash from her staff as they blow into ashes.
Astrid went to wrap her thin whip on her enemies necks, pulling her weapon so these fell beheaded. Four zombies were next to next, armed with shields and swords, and dressed with ragged roman legionary clothes. She smiled, grabbing with her whip one of the soldiers leg, pulling it and making it fall, then she turned to the other side, cutting one of the arms with one of her precise lashes, followed by a turn to the right as she cut in two halves the third of the four soldiers, as she grabbed and hold the string of her whip with her resistant gloves. Seconds after, she released the whip, moving it in front of her enemy thousands of times, like invisible hits. When she stopped, the last enemy turned into a pile of burning ashes.
Hilde looked how her squad has cleared the zone they were, so she aimed with her sword to the coast, as an advancing order so they reached to the coast with the rest of squads of the army. But suddenly, an ambush of enemies tried to seize them, as they were a lot, they surrounded and confused them. Astrid was caught, as one of the undead trapped her and another tied her with ropes, then she was carried by a group of enemies quickly to the portals to Nieflheim so she was turned into a prisoner hostage, as she screamed trying to plea for help to her sisters, but they were trying to defeat the ambush they were into. Hilde and the rest of her squad slain the enemy wave, but they couldn't go for Astrid, and this wasn't the only time the enemies kidnapped valkyries from the squads during battles.
Â
Meanwhile, at the Bastion of Cosmos, Vallmar entered the fortress, walking to the entrance of the basement, where the safe room for the Book of Cosmos was guarded there. Using his rank of a general, he crossed the security systems of the complex basement, he even convinced the only two valkyrie guards there to have a rest, and so, he reached the room where the book was held. It was a big hall, with huge and thick concrete walls and blue lights that drawn the map of the stars over the darkness of the room, as the only light was the one who lighted the book, which was exposed on a beautiful stand of crystal glass. Vallmar walked where the book was, removing it from the stand it was held. Suddenly, the blue lights that acted as an astral map went off, leaving shadows on the wall as the light that was over the stand faded into darkness, so Vallmar decided to get out of the room and leave the building without any clue. Even so, Tyris was at his office on the Bastion, leaving it for going home and rest from the hard day of work, while Vallmar walked up the stairs from the basement to the entrance hall of the Bastion, both at the same time. Tyris, who was walking down the stairs to the upper floors, as he noticed Valmar hiding something under his cloak, which had to the the Book of Cosmos, but he wasn't sure, so he got next to the thief, saying "Vallmar, what are you doing here?" looking down, noticing something strange under the cloak, so his face changed for a suspicion alert face, saying "What's going on?"
Vallmar cleared his throat nervously as he felt how Tyris was suspecting him, remembering how he poured some drops of the sleeping poison from Jertti, Loki's servant, on his dagger before he went to steal, so he replied "Nothing, it's just..." Vallmar didn't finish what he was about to say, drawing the dagger, steeping on Tyris and stabbing the tainted blade on his chest. Tyris, who felt the shock of the tackle that Vallmar gave him, felt a terrible pain for some seconds, until he felt his body getting tired, feeling he was falling asleep. Tyris, who fell into the ground, looked at Vallmar while the poison made his sight start to blur and fade, saying faintly "How dared you to..."
The blonde general closed his eyes, embraced by an eternal slumber, but without bleeding, since he was dead already as a knight of the Gods. Vallmar ran outside the Bastion so he could complete his objective. An hour later, Freya found Tyris, looking at his wound, how her magic wasn't acting on him and looking at the shape of the wound, knowing that the only person that could stab him was Vallmar, none the less, because the dagger was unique in every way. She also noticed other weird things, like the entrance wasn't protected by the guards, as always, and she went into the room. She found the room empty and dark, because the Book of Cosmos was missing. The goddess ran to Heimdall, claiming to her husband that the Book had been stolen. Odin, who was shocked, exclaimed "WHAT, but how!? It's impossible, that's why I left a few valkyries here, only an Einhenjar or we could cross that door for an emergency!"
Freya kneeled to the floor sad, saying "It has been Vallmar, I saw Tyris fallen asleep and with a wound made by his knife, he only could do that. Also, if he stole stole thebook, it must have been for a real convincing reason... I'm not sure but I think I saw a Loki's servant these days on the streets of Valhalla, but I thought they were my imaginations..."
Odin grumbled with fury, closing his eyes for a moment, thinking for a few minutes, until he opened them and replying to his lovely wife "Then we shall punish him, and the valkyries too... they shall fight on Midgard until they recover the book... no matter if Vallmar is dead or alive."
Freya sighed sadly, as her eyes shined in gloom with small tears, knowing her daughters, who raised and trained, were going to be expelled from their homeland, and they weren't ready for the human world neither, so the only thing she could do to not disagree with his husband was nodding, answering "As you wish, Odin"
Â
Eventually, Vallmar arrived to his house, where he found Jertti placed on the sofa, smiling. The general looked at her, taking the book under his cloak and giving it to her saying "Here it is, and now, your part of the deal"
Jertti grinned, as she placed her right hand on his forehead, saying "Sure, here's your prize"
Afterwars, her hand shined with a dark glow, giving Vallmar the feeing of intense pain as the glow was so strong, it blinded him, as his feline shape was turning quickly. His boy turned into a skeleton, his eyes disappeared, so instead of them, a dark essence was set on them and having two shiny points as pupils. His body was bigger too, achieving the 8 feet of height, and his clothes grew up too, but replacing his crests for skulls. Jertti took of her hand from the ex-Einhenjar, who was somehow different. Vallmar panted, opening his eyes, or what looked like them, and watched his new body: He was turned into a giant living skeleton, so he stood up, grabbing the wolf from her clothes and saying "What have you done to me, devious bitch!?"
Jertti kept her smile, she didn't care how strong was he to hold her, replying "Don't you get it? Now you are a general for the service of Nieflheim, with your own legion from hell, just for sacrificing your rank as soldier for Odin" then, she showed up her hand to him, saying "Now we have a long journey, general Vallmar".
Vallmar hold Jertti's small hand, so they turned into a purple sphere of light, flying through Valhalla to cross the world barriers to reach Nieflheim. But then, while they were crossing Migard, the speed they were cruising detached one of Vallmar's arms, releasing the book and fell from the skies to the land, without knowing where it could be because of the thick clouds of the sky, so Jertti and Vallmar awed in desperation and trouble.
Â
Then, on Midgard, the valkyrie squads kept going forward and attacking the waves of enemies through the coast, until they reached to the port. The human army was trying to understand what that pack of kitties was doing, slaying the virtually invincible fantasy soldiers which were killed without sweating by the kitties. As they reached to the docks, the environment was cold and scary: the cargo boxes where spread, bent and put in really weird shapes, with hills made of scrap, and the rest of the ships had holes or were on fire, even there was a storm over them, there was no sign of human activity.
Hilde, with the rest of the squad leaders, looked to the Leviathan and Sirin, over the sea. One of the leaders turned her sight to them, saying "We will have to fight the demon, since that Leviathan has scales as hard as steel, we will have to fight her close, a ranged attack won't do nothing.
Another leader nodded, looking at the portals covered in thick crimson fog, saying "One of us will have to deal the summoner, the rest will take care of the portals. The rest can take care of the incoming enemies as we try to seal the portals.
Hilde made a small step, saying "Then I'll fight her, you go to the portals."
Another of the squad leaders said "Are you mad, Hilde? This is not like the Jotunheim giant fights!" She shook her head, as she tried to find a place to take off and so, plane to reach and land the Leviathan's body.
The rest of leaders turned to see their army, so one of them drew her weapon and shouted "Come on, We have to seal the portals to Nieflheim!"
The valkyrie kitty army charged against the zombies that remained and came from the portals on the docks. When one of the squad leaders reached to one of the portals, she placed her hand in front of the portal, making her bell on the neck shine and glow, as she started to whisper runic language. The door started to close, closing it as a ring that was getting smaller and smaller, vanishing and leaving a small blink of light in the end.
Sirin looked how something was going wrong, so she groaned and screamed "I won't let you do that, filthy cats, Leviathan!!!" so the beast shrieked and bashed its tail to the sea, creating a tidal wave. One of the leaders looked at the shockwave, so she grabbed her weapon, a giant hammer, bashing it on the ground and shouting "Rock barrier!"
After her shout, the sea near the docks started to tremble, as a big various feet tall wall made of rock appeared to stop the wave. Sirin groaned disgusted, while Hilde crossed the winds of the coast to reach to the Leviathan's back, a few meters from Sirin. The Nieflheim demon looked at the young valkyrie, smiling, as she said "Well, well... an unexpected guest, as I see"
Hilde frowned, staring at Sirin while she draw her long two handed sword, saying "My name is Hilde, valkyrie at the service of the Æsir god Odin... and I've come to destroy you for invading a realm without any reason!"
Sirin burst a laugh, retrieving her spear and wielding it with style and teasing her saying "Then, show me what you got, kitty!!!"
Â
Hilde grabbed her sword with all her strength while Sirin lowered the tip of her spear. Rain and wind rushed their furs, Sirin raised her spear, trying to pierce Hilde, but the kitty swayed to the right, trying to hit a bashing chop to her. Irin blocked the hit with the stick of her weapon, so both weapons crushed each other and each fighter started to push, trying to take advantage. Hilde applied so much force, she could kick Sirin's leg and repel their bodies. Hilde tried to recover, but Sirin was quicker, so she charged running over Leviathan's skin, making a rain of nailing hits to Hilde. The kitty tried to block the swift bee-like sting attacks, until one of them hit her right side of the belly, making a wound and stepping back in awe and pain. Sirin grinned while Hilde was putting her hand on the bleeding wound, so it shined by her white magic. Sirin looked at what the valyrie was doing, so she spring her legs on a big jump, preparing her weapon. The dog set the blade of her spear down for a rush hit to her while she was trying to heal herself. Hilde looked above her, standing up and rolling back to avoid her opponent's attack. Sirin, unlucky as she was, stabbed her weapon on his pet's skin, so it started to wiggle a bit in anger. The fighters fell on the skin and grabbed to it tight, until the Leviathan stopped. Hilde ran close to Sirin to try to attack one of her opponent's sides, so she slipped to a side while her opponent tried to stand up after the accident of harming her beloved creature. Hilde lifted her huge sword with both hands, slashing in front of her, showing a silver air cut that went straight to Sirin, but the opponent blocked the slash with the spear, running and trying to pierce her while her spear's blade glowed in intense blue. Hilde watched how the spear turned into a watery blade, so she stepped back, evading Sirin's sting and went close to the dog again to hit her with the hilt of her sword.
Sirin stepped back, while Hilde jumped up, rotating in the air and shouting "Heavenly slash!"
so her sword glowed in a while blinding light, going down to hit Sirin and giving her the Coup de grace. Siron dropped her weapon, falling on the ground, badly hit, though she wasn't cut, the kitty's hidden move made her several internal damage, so she it over her knees over Leviathan's body. As she panted, the female dog coughed blood, whispering in awe "It... can't be... me... a Nieflheim general, a high summoner... I've... lost!"
She started to scream in agony, as a pillar of light crossed her body, then her body started to fade and vanish in a black shadow on the shine of the light. Hilde covered her eyes as the pillar pierced the dark clouds, then Leviathan screamed in pain, falling on the sea with a huge splash of water. Hilde could jump quickly enough to land safe on the port and look how the beast succumbed, as it didn't have any summoner to make it real. The kitty was exhausted, so she fell on her knees and breathing hard, since she used most of her magic for the final hit. The rest of the valkyrie army, who finished sealing the portals, ran where she was, while the clouds faded and the sun light glowed over the place with radiant beams. Hilde stood up, recovering her breath, looking how the mission was a success, so she looked to the army and said "Sisters... Let's go way back home!"
Â
The valkyries blew in joy and jubilee, opening her wings to reach the skies and cross the fog walls that lead to Asgard. As they arrived and landed in front of the Bastion, Odin was in front of the entrance, with a serious cold expression painted on his face. Hilde stepped forward and got close to Odin, saying "Father, we repelled the attack from the Nieflheim army, the mission is..." but before Hilde could finish, the god set his hand in front of her, as an order to silence.
The creator god closed his eyes and spoke to his daughters like this "I'm very ashamed and disappointed with you, my children, although you fought well, you have been tricked. The Book of Cosmos has been stolen" the kitties gasped and started to talk each other, as they never imagined this could happen.
Odin asked for silence and said "So, as the judge I am, I decided to punish you: You will live on the world of Midgar and fight the demons until the book is retrieved, and also get back your kidnapped sisters from the enemy. You shall not return to Asgard until I see the book, understand?"
Hilde growled in rage, but as she knew his father's power, she just put her back straight again and said "Yes... father"
Odin smiled saying "Now you shall leave this realm and find somewhere to subsist. Each one of you may go where she wants, alone or not. And about the demon attacks on Midgard, we decided a way to... help you."
The kitties felt sad, while they were getting prepared to cross the barrier of fog again and start their new live on Midgard, while Odin said "Good luck, I shall not tolerate failures" then, the Æsir looked at Hilde, saying "Hilde, we found Tyris wounded and deeply asleep.
Hilde gasped desperate "What, how!? Let... let me see him"
Odin shook his head "He will be alright, you have to go with your sisters now"
Hilde put an angry expression on her face, which was really made by the sadness that filled her with fury. She turned her sight to the other side, crossing it with the rest of her sisters and thinking with her mind "Tyris... I... love you"
Â
And so, Odin sent her children, the valkyries, kitties who were made to guide the fallen ones to the fallen soldiers and defend the humans, to Midgard, where they had to fight with the support of the mortal humans, rescue their sisters who were and going to be kidnapped during the battles and find the Book of Cosmos before the lords of Nieflheim.
Â
Eventually, the valkyiries reached to Midgard while the gods made signals through the whole realm for the main plan of the war: All the adult males would have to join the army, while the young and the females should stay on the cities and towns, applying instantly in all countries because the gods gifted with blessings and divine intervention to anyone who followed the plan. So, the kitties spread through the world. When Hilde landed with the rest of the squad, her sisters on a big forest, she sighed looking at the sky, remembering Tyris. The squad settled on the forest in a few hours, and also, their members talked to each other, remembering and talking about the few lessons about mortal lifestyle on their lessons, as all the squads did at the same time everywhere.
Hilde was sitting on a rock, with a sad face, looking at her sisters while she remembered Tyris, like if he was dreaming. Suddenly, Agnetta sat next to her, with doubting eyes and asking her "Sis... are you OK?"
Hilde, who stopped thinking, said to her sisters "Yeah, don't worry, Agnetta."
Agnetta sit next to Hilde, looking up to the sky and then to Hilde, saying "Sis... I always had a question... Where do baby kitties come from?" Hilde blushed heavily, looking at Agnetta with a gasp as she remembered that afternoon with Tyris, but then the pink kitty said "Do you know anything about that?"
Hilde had a worried expression on her face, biting her own lips, as she looked down shy, she said "Well... I... I know the answer"
Agnetta dropped her jaw astonished, so she got near, with eyes of joy and curiosity, saying "Really, Then, how is it!? I... I really wanna know that..."
Hilde sighed, looked to Agnetta's eyes and started to explain all what Tyris said to her yesterday. Hours later, after the complicated lesson, Hilde finished her speech saying "And that's where kitties come from"
Agnetta had a shocked and nervous expression on her face, so she ran to her sisters and started to explain what she just had learned: Sex. The rest of her squad felt the same as Agnetta, so they spread what they learned, so in less than a day, all the valkyries knew in a simple way what Sex was, the only thing that weren't supposed to know.
Hours later, the kitties found a big mansion on the woods they were, turning it into their headquarters. They could save lots of space thanks to their feature to transform, and find more places for living while they lived on Midgard. They had all the needs to survive too, and they started finding everything they could to hide their real presence from humans: Clothes, food, drink, furniture... They even felt more mature, because they were spoilt like girls, as they started to live stand alone. As days passed, people from Midgard started to adapt to their new kitty neighbors, as they weren't hostile, even sent by the gods, although they didn't know that the kitties were on their world as a punishment.
Even so, what they didn't know, as an army of divine warrior valkyries, was the destiny was preparing the endless amount of battles and happenings of a war that just has started.
