Thursday, 2nd January 2020 Eli - I don't see you! Shane - That's cause you haven't gotten off the plane yet, silly. Eli - Sorry, just really excited! :P Shane - I'm shaking right now, oh my gosh. Eli - Calm down, silly. Shane - Just hurry up and land already XD Eli - Gotta turn off the phone. See ya soon babe! Shane - 'Kaykay! The brown bear grinned and blushed heavily, slipping his phone into his pocket. He was sitting in his car in the parking lot, chuckling nervously to himself. He was going to meet the person that he'd been dating for four years through Skype!

They'd only communicated through typing and voice-chat, so he was really excited to finally meet him in person after four years of it! Of all the stuff that he and Eli said they'd do, and of all the stuff they said they'd to to each other. He got out of his car and shut the door behind him gently. He rubbed his paws together nervously and slowly approached the airport, while taking in the view. The airport had a giant rainbow out the front and upon closer inspection had dozens of names on a plaque. He folded his arms as he walked past it, frowning at the words; 'War' on the top of the plaque. He didn't even want to question why there was a rainbow atop of a plaque out the front of an airport, he had other things on his mind now. Shane pushed past a small group of wolves walking out of the airport. He apologized and smiled at them before turning to walk into the airport. He bit his lip as he walked inside, getting a gust of freezing air from the air conditioner above the door. He noticed a restroom near the door and immediately started walking towards it. He pushed the door open and walked inside, grimacing at the smell of just pure man. It was absolutely disgusting to him, but it put a smile on his face as he approached the sink. He closed his eyes and turned on the faucet, resting his paws beneath it and letting the water flow through his fur. He smashed the water against his face and rubbed his eyes. "You got this," Shane looked up at himself at the mirror, "He doesn't hate you. He doesn't hate you. He doesn't hate you..." He bit his lip and felt himself smile as he fears slowly faded. As he walked back out of the bathroom, his phone vibrated in his pocket. He fumbled through his pocket and pulled out his phone, unlocking it and noticing a new Skype notification. Eli - Hi hi! I shouldn't be using my phone atm, but I dun care! We just landed! It's the plane with the blue stripe on the side! Shane was too excited to even reply to the message. He shoved his phone back in his pocket and approached a small store opposite of the dining area. He glanced behind him and saw a massive window that showed the entire tarmac, with dozens of planes landing and taking off of multiple runways He turned back to the shop and grinned as he noticed a bouquet of flowers atop of a nearby shelf. The woman behind the counter grinned and followed his gaze at the flowers, "Only three dollars, kid." Shane pulled a few dollars out of his pocket and rested them on the counter. The woman grabbed the money and reached up to grab the bouquet of flowers from the shelf. Shane exhaled shakily and tapped his fingers nervously on the table as the woman handed him the bouquet. "Thanks." Shane said, turning and walking away from the counter. He felt his breathing quicken as he approached the large window, a small grin making it's way onto his face as he saw the plane with a large blue stripe on the side. He watched the door open and the passengers of the plane walk out of it and across the tarmac. The bear rubbed his paws together with a nervous expression on his face. His breathing quickened again as dozens of anthros started walking through double doors beside him. He stood still, clenching the bouquet of flowers close to his chest as the passengers of the plane walked into the airport. His smile faded as the final passenger walked into the airport. It was a rhino. His boyfriend was nowhere to be seen. Shane frowned and clenched the bouquet harder before he was suddenly grabbed. Before he knew it, he was turned around and his lips met with a dog that was a little taller than he was. He pulled away, panting heavily with widened eyes. He'd dropped the bouquet in the heat of the moment, and his face was heating it up rather quickly. It took him a few seconds to realise that it was Eli standing in front of him! The Australian shepherd that he'd been dating for all of these years without any physical contact was standing right in front of him! He existed! He felt his heart skip as Eli giggled, reaching down and picking up the bouquet. Shane grabbed Eli and hugged him tightly. They both blushed heavily as their fur brushed up against each-other, with their faces heating up at a rapid pace They pulled away and stared at each-other wide-eyed, as if this wasn't even happening! Shane's shocked expression faded into a warm smile as he leant forward and grasped his mate's paws. Eli squeezed the bear's paws softly and gave him another priceless smile. "Thanks for the flowers..." Eli whispered, his face fading back to it's original colour. Shane reached up and caressed his mate's paw, sighing softly and feeling himself melt at feeling the dog's warm fur on his own. "I still can't believe we're standing here, in the same room. I'm so used to talking to you from a computer or phone...it's so weird!" Shane exclaimed, blushing heavily again. Eli smirked and kissed the bear softly, while hugging him tighter than before. "Where's your suitcases?" Shane asked. Eli pointed over at the conveyor belt which brought in the passenger's luggage from the flight. They hadn't realised that they'd been standing there staring at each-other for twenty minutes, and Eli's bags were the only ones on the conveyor belt. "You're so cute..." Eli muttered, causing Shane's face to heat up once more. Shane bit his lip and rubbed his shoulder, pulling away from the dog. Eli laughed and quickly grabbed him once more, preventing him from going anywhere. Eli pulled the bear against him and their lips met once more, a little more forcefully this time. Shane pulled away, blushing heavily, "Sorry. Haven't really practised..." He said in a low tone. "Neither have I..." Eli cooed, kissing him softly once more, "At least we'll have plenty of time to, huh...?" "I promised I'd take you out on an epic date, if I remember correctly?" Shane wrapped his arm around the shepherd. "Aww...fine. Can we at least stop somewhere on the way back to your place?" Eli giggled, "It's like, eighty miles from here, right?" "No no..." Shane laughed, "It's eighty kilometres. That's a whole other thing..." Eli sighed softly and rested his head on Shane's shoulder as they approached the conveyor belt.
