Actually, Kaj Is Prey
Kajetas gets shrunk and eaten by a friendly, if domineering, dragon! Made this for a friend and now you all get to enjoy!
The writing on the contract was loose yet verbose, the client clearly having some lawyer put it together with legalese nonsense. Some member of their gang needed to be found. Not a normal job Kajetas would take. His clawed finger swiped to the next screen, showing his account status in bright red letters. The negative number was discouraging, but the contract would shore him up. He was desparate. And he wanted to get out of the rain now.
Kajetas tapped an acceptance into his pad, then stepped out of the alleyway and into the cover of the bar. The green lizard shook his hood off, undoing his cloak and letting the water drip off before entering the establishment. He sat at the far end of the bar, curling his long tail around the legs of the stool. He didn't want it getting stepped on.
He'd already gone to the trouble of looking up the target, narrowing down possible hideouts. One of them being this very bar, keeping an eye out for the poor soul with the bad luck to get him as their hunter.
He disliked these kinds of bounties, but at least he could drown his disappointment in a drink. He ordered a glass of poorly refined liquor, and thought how much he would've preferred a less risky job, a less so obviously personal one. He didn't have the time to wait for such a job. No room for beggars.
The minutes ticked by as he scanned the room, taking note of all who walked through the doors. The bartender poured him another drink.
He noticed he didn't jump at the weight of a stranger sitting next to him. A stranger he somehow missed entering the establishment. He turned and caught sight of a lavender scaled anthro dragon. Wearing a simple black short-sleeved shirt and matching work pants, and the easy look of a local. Maybe he came in from the back?
The dragon must've ordered a drink too, because the bartender dropped one off before scurrying away to some other corner of the bar.
Kajetas felt his red eyes appraise him, ending with a nod.“Come here often?" he said.
Kajetas found himself trying to get his bearings, staring at his glass and counting how many times it'd been refilled. He couldn't place the dragon's accent either.
“No, I'm new," the lizard replied.
“Not a bad spot for a drink. It's quiet, unless you're looking for company."
“Yeah, it's nice." Clawed fingers fidgeted with his glass, Kajetas staring into the golden brown swill rocking inside it. He checked the doors again, then turned to the dragon. “Name's Kaj."
“Russ, nice to meet ya." The two shook hands, ending with Russ putting a strong hand on Kaj's shoulder. “Let's get a proper drink then," he motioned to the bartender.
A bond only possible between two strangers at a bar formed. Sipping the local gossip and chuckling at shitty drinks. Russ, apparently a bouncer, would have many tales of kicking out arrogant drunks, while Kaj would share some sparse details about mercenary work. And all through the conversation, Kaj found himself getting caught looking Russ in the eyes for a moment too long. He would blush, mumble into his drink, cough. Anything to diffuse the embarrassment he felt.
For his part, Russ didn't seem like he minded the attention. He would bump shoulders, or put his arm over the lizard. Which is when Kajetas found out he was a bit smaller than the dragon. And his arm felt hot. He didn't want the night to end, his contract forgotten in the flirtations of the handsome dragon.
Russ was just finishing up another of his stories. “Right, and of course, big man like me, nobody's gonna mess with me, okay?"
“Uh, no."
“That was rhetorical."
“Right," and Kajetas laughed softly at himself. “Big man like you? I wouldn't wanna mess with you either."
“Aha! I'd like to see you try. But I'll go easy on you cause I like you." Russ grinned.
Kajetas meanwhile found something very interesting in the rim of his own glass, taking another sip before asking. “So what brings you out tonight anyway?"
“Grabbing some liquid courage before work. I'll be at the door of the club a few doors down. Maybe I'll see you there, yeah?"
“Maybe."
“Alright little man." Russ stood, dropped some coins on the counter and laid a heavy mitt on Kajetas's shoulder, giving it a squeeze. “Duty calls and all. Let me see you again though, alright?"
Kajetas felt the drink swirl his brain. He looked down at his own drink, realizing Russ had left enough behind to pay for both of their drinks, and gulped down his embarrassment. If he could finish this contract, he could pay the dragon back. Preferably with more drinks.
He relieved himself in the bathroom, then stepped back out to the street. The rain had let up, the cool wet air wafting through the street. He filled his lungs with it, clearing his head. There were still a few people milling about, mostly with their heads down. Neon signage illuminated the darkness interspersed with the yellow glow of the lampposts.
He'd have to try again tomorrow to find his target. He stumbled down the streets, around a turn and ran into someone. He felt dazed, the alcohol sloshing in his stomach as he mumbled an apology. When he could see clearly, he recognized their face.
A stroke of luck, the stars aligning, divine providence; the usual suspects delivered unto the lizard the exact person he'd been hired to hunt.
“You."
Wordlessly, they brushed past him.
“Hey, stop! Stop right there!" Kajetas wished he'd brought his service pistol. He hadn't planned this very well at all. Still, he wasn't entirely unarmed. His prey turned a corner, he swore, and his willed his legs to run, his hands tapping at his tech gauntlet.
Breathing stabbed cold daggers into his lungs. His legs propelled him forward even though they burned, splashing in shallow puddles in the alleyway. He held out his hand and fired his taser. A tracer light blinked off the wall his target had just been in front of. “Fuck," Kajetas muttered.
The way the shadows seemed to swallow them up and spit them out, evidence of Weirdcraft. But still Kajetas chased. Launching himself over containers, down another alleyway, until he fell into their trap.
Technically, stepped onto the trap. A device sprung up into his chest, and sparked. He felt a sting all over his hide, lasting just a breath. The device crackled as it expended its charge, falling to the ground. The lizard checked himself, but he didn't feel himself bleeding or broken. His mental faculties—drinking aside—seemed intact.
He stumbled out of the alleyway Looking up, he found himself in front a nightclub, the bouncer, a tall lavender dragon, staring at him.
“Hey. I know you." Kajetas caught his breath. “See anyone come by here?"
Russ now wore a high visibility vest. “Nope. You didn't have too many drinks, did you?"
Kajetas shivered, feeling sweat drip off his chin. “I'm fine."
“Right. You can take a seat here for a minute." Russ gestured with a jerk of his head to a bench next to the entrance. A respite Kajetas took gratefully.
“So," Kajetas started, catching his breath, “quiet night?"
“Mm, so-so. Seems you're the one having some excitement?" Russ leaned against the wall, looking down at the green lizard.
“Yeah. Well, it was fun until I got zapped to shit." He rubbed his neck, feeling the echoes of tingling nerves.
“Right. Looks like it made you lose weight though."
“Huh?" Kaj lifted up his arms to notice the sleeves of his cloak were baggier than usual. “What the fuck?" He stood, but his boots didn't fit right either, and fell to the ground.
“Oh shit," Russ said somewhere above him. He felt the dragon's hands on him, trying to help him back up. Trying to get himself upright found his hands inside the sleeves of his jacket. The clothing slipped off his form, equipment leaving his grasp as they became bulky.
Finally, he extracted himself from his traitorous clothing, and he found himself naked. He looked towards Russ and found the dragon's boot instead.
“The hell?" Kajetas said, dumbstruck. Dragon fingers wrapped around him and pulled him from the pile of clothes. The whoosh of chilly night air struck him. “I'm small?"
The lizard's voice was much quieter at this size, but Russ still heard him. “Yeah! I've heard about these before, some kind of… I dunno, shrinking poison or something."
Shrinking. He'd been shrunk. And how he was at the mercy of a stranger. He was thinking of what to do, who to call for help, when Russ spoke again. “Looking real cute at this size."
Kajetas blushed, looking into Russ's face. His large, close face, eyes roaming over his body. Russ's other hand came over and started poking him with a finger. The digit pressed into his chest, under his arms, then his long tail.
“H-hey. We should call the, uh, district…" Kajetas flushed at the treatment. He was being treated like a little toy and enjoying it. He laid back and let himself be prodded and rubbed by just the dragon's giant fingers. He found the pressure was not uncomfortable, his small body seemingly tougher? He found it hard to complain when the skin he sat on radiated warmth.
His erection announced itself with a hard throb.
“Mmm, I think I'm gonna keep ya, little guy." Russ said.
“K-keep me?!" Kajetas started, but Russ already began raising his hand, tipping it over into his open maw. His tongue stretched out like a landing pad, ready to catch him between the sharp teeth lining his gums. The streetlight barely illuminated down the dragon's mouth, but the lizard knew the opening to the throat lay in the darkness beyond the tongue.
The darkness he rushed towards as he was dropped.
If the night air had been chilly, and the dragon's finger's warm, then the tongue was hot. Sticky saliva trapped him against the bumpy taste buds. Russ closed his mouth, and he was surrounded by the fluid, pressed into the rubbery, firm palate. The tongue shifted underneath him, tasting him. He caught enough breath as he was swished from the front of the mouth to the back. Russ opened his mouth again, letting in light and fresh air.
This close, Kajetas could make out the throat properly; the uvula dangling above, the tonsils on either side, and the dip at the end of the tongue leading into the esophagus. The light disappeared, and he was surrounded by the heat of the dragon's mouth again. Momentum carried him when Russ turned his head, pushing him into the hard teeth. The ivory rows parted, and the tongue squished into him, sliding him past it and into the stretch cheek pouch.
Russ's voice boomed around him as he talked to somebody, keeping the shrunken lizard hidden while he spoke. A quick conversation, for he was shortly brought back out onto the tongue, and suckled on like a little reptilian candy. Tongue rubbing him up against he palate, his entire body soaked in saliva.
One final squeeze, accompanied by a squelching swallow, draining the mouth of much of the fluid. It felt like hours had passed when Russ opened his mouth again, this time letting Kajetas fall back onto his palm with a wet splat.
“Someone's enjoying themselves," Russ said with a teasing lilt.
Kajetas still had to wipe himself of drool before he could speak, his cock standing at attention between his legs. “Can you blame me? Now, stop tasting me and-"
Russ would have none of that. He licked his hand, his tongue picking the lizard up in one swipe, almost dragging him back into his mouth. Then his finger came back, curling the lizard's tail around and dangling him from it. He lifted it above his head, Kajetas suspended in the air just by his long tail, but he felt his grip slipping.
It wouldn't matter; Russ lower him back into his mouth, sucking the prey off his finger, slipping it from his lips with no lizard in sight. He tasted him for a few more moments, extracting any remaining flavor, then slightly raised his chin for the final act.
Kajetas felt the tongue act with purpose, raising him towards the palate to be squeezed. He didn't notice the squeezing happening in a wave motion, feeling it in his tail and feet, pushing him towards the throat The darkness meant he had no idea he was staring straight down the dragon's gullet. The tight tube opened up to allow him in, muscles activating simultaneously to push him in. The lizard was a little lump in the dragon's throat as the esophagus pushed him downwards in one swallow.
The darkness around Kajetas was mostly just tight flesh all around him, pressing him downwards. His arms ahead of him came across a tight knot of flesh; the sphincter leading to the stomach. It opened and rippled over his body, letting him splash into a stomach with a puddle of the previously ingested alcohol. The smell wasn't exactly pleasant, Kajetas struggling to right himself in the groaning gloom of the stomach sac.
Resorting to crawling, the sloped sac covered in slimy folds under his hands and knees led him to what could be considered a wall. He pushed against it. “Let me out!"
After pushing and hitting the walls, and few more cries with no response, Kajetas resigned to relax. The dragon's stomach gurgled once, as if finally excited to have its morsel calm down. The heat was nice, Kajetas relaxing into the walls as they slowly shifted, rubbing their mucous into his hide, and soon enough he was at the bottom of the stomach. He supposed it wasn't actually that bad in here. Just had to get used to the smell.
Russ, licking his lips and swallowing the remaining savory flavor, could not hear any such cries for help. Kaj was a tasty treat for sure, and he'd definitely want to toy with him again. He gathered the lizard's belongings, putting them in a cubby just behind the door.
He nodded at a passerby, letting them through the door after they flashed their ID. His belly groaned, and he gave it a rub.
His shift passed with no further events, managing to keep the bulge in his pants to a minimum whenever he thought about his little reptile snack. At the end, he helped close down the club, the dawn peaking out over the cityscape above. He grabbed his things under one arm, Kaj's things under the other, and set out to his apartment.
It wasn't far, and he tossed the things onto the kitchen counter. His destination was the bed, taking his boots and pants off, along with his shirt. Then, he could throw himself onto the mattress, laying on his back with one arm up, the other resting over his gut.
It was barely a few minutes when his head hit the pillow, that he began to snore. He could look forward to cuddling with the lizard, and maybe some more of these fun activities, tomorrow.
