Jay has been updated once more - this time hopefully for good! He's now a true synth, though can disguise himself reasonably well as an organic stoat should he wish. This replaces the old v1 Toy Manual.

This is accurate for all stories Jay may appear in, as well as in RP.

Jay is a synth with a wide variety of features. This manual will help you better understand him and what he is capable of, as well as getting some appreciation for what he enjoys. He is not strictly a toy, but he is easily capable of being used as one.

Jay’s main body is a highly advanced living latex stoat form. (Picture not currently supplied). It does not differ from his fursuit in terms of markings, but does have a couple of small differences in appearance beyond the rubbery sheen. His fingers are short and stubby, providing little dexterity and grip. He also has a small black collar around his neck, melded seamlessly with his skin. The collar opens up on one side, providing the charging ports, as well as USB connections. This allows him to connect directly to other devices and can, with enough password access, allow his functionality and software to be changed.

The fursuit Jay possesses is used to disguise his synthetic nature. It appears almost totally realistic, and will deceive all but the most observant. It is made to fit his body perfectly, and as such doesn’t slide or move around over his rubbery body beneath. It also provides Jay with more dexterity, as the suit’s fingers are of the proper length and can be controlled like normal. The suit also provides better senses than his base body, which has somewhat dulled vision, smell, and hearing.

The control tablet is pre-loaded with Jay’s control app – the app isn’t readily available, but can be copied over onto other compatible devices. Under no circumstance is Jay able to control the app, though all other functions of the tablet are available to him. The app has many functions, which will all be explained later.

The charging cables naturally charge up the various devices. Jay’s body is able to be wirelessly charged when he’s out of suit, and has a mattress on his bed that facilitates this. Otherwise he has to be plugged in and charge that way. On average, he has about 24 hours worth of charge for all three of his main components.

Jay’s fursuit appearance is much like the base form beneath, but for the collar and shorter, stubby fingers. Base form images to be added at a later date.

By default, Jay is male appearing, but null.

Base Functionality

By default, Jay acts like an ordinary, organic stoat anthro. He works a normal job in retail, as well as writing. He also works for Integrated Synthetics, his creators, to pay off his ‘creation debt’. He doesn’t know what he does for them, just that the work is top secret, as his memories of work are hidden inside a highly encrypted, password-locked section of his memory.

His personality is generally friends, though he enjoys being mischievous and sarcastic as well, so it can be difficult to know when to take him seriously. He usually leans towards the submissive side, but it isn’t unknown of him to show flashes of dominance, especially when he knows his friends enjoy that – he adores teasing his friends in that way.

Tablet Functions

The tablet can be used to edit Jay in a massive number of ways, but it does have some restrictions. Various levels of functionality are controlled by passwords. These passwords restrict what some users can do. Jay is fitted with unbreakable security systems that do not allow the passwords to be bypassed.

Physical edits are disabled while Jay is wearing his fursuit to prevent damage to it, though he can be compelled to remove it through the tablet. Higher password levels may be able to override this restriction.

The various password controlled levels are as follows:

Level 1

  • Allows most physical transformations (excludes non-male/null gender related transformation, excludes total removal of limbs or sensory organs – limbs include tail and head).

  • Allows force removal of fursuit.

  • Allows modification of species.

  • Allows modification of senses (between 20%-200% of default).

  • Allows access to pre-set forms.

Level 2

  • Allows total removal of limbs.

  • Allows gender modification.

  • Allows modification of senses (between 0%-200% of default).

  • Allows access to greater variety of pre-set forms.

Level 3

  • Allows modification of some mental characteristics.

  • Allows access to memory functions.

  • Allows editing capability of speech and vocabulary.

  • Allows access to all pre-set forms.

  • Allows modification of default settings.

Level 4

  • Allows total access to core programming. No restrictions at this level.

  • Allows physical modifications whilst wearing the fursuit. Warning, this may damage the suit.

  • Enables voice activation for commands and transformations.

  • Disables firewalls and allows for foreign software uploads via his USB ports.

Within the scope of the access levels, almost anything is possible to modify Jay. More limbs can be added or removed, his species can be changed (of either the body as a whole or individual parts), and body parts can be swapped around. The possibilities are only limited only by your imagination!

With level 3 access, some mental changes can be made to Jay. This includes: dominance/submissive levels, intelligence, craving of specific inputs, awareness of other changes, and sexual desires and tensions.

To protect Jay from misuse, all transformations are set to a timer. 24 hours after no use from the tablet will result in his default form being adopted.

Selected List of Features

This is by no means an exhaustive list, but just an example of what Jay can do. Discover for yourself what other features lay hidden!

  • Costume – Jay’s body is hollowed out and can be used as a rubber suit. He retains the ability to move, even when not being worn. (Level 1)

  • Composition changes – Jay may be rubber/latex by default, but he doesn’t need to stay that way! Any material is an option – solid or liquid. (Level 1)

  • Modularity – Jay’s limbs can be removed and still controlled via remote access. Limbs can be reattached with electromagnetic energy. (Level 2)

  • Touch-sense – If all of Jay’s senses are removed, this option allows Jay to understand speech through touch alone, the movement of the air enough to allow him some rudimentary hearing ability. Good for giving commands. (Level 3)

  • Mirror Mode – Warning, this feature can cause significant alterations. The tablet links Jay to the user with nanites. This makes the user susceptible to the tablet’s influence, temporarily converting them to a synthetic form like Jay – a second option allows for the user to take on Jay’s exact form or exact configuration, i.e. a clone of Jay’s current form, or just taking on Jay’s current alterations. This also means that the user will be restricted from using the tablet for as long as this effect is in place. The user will only be returned to normal if a second user permits it, of Jay’s 24 hour timer without use expires.

Preset Forms

These forms can be selected to transform Jay into them at the touch of a button. Preset forms can be added, but can’t feature anything that is above the current password access level.

Ownership

It is important to note that Jay will not be owned by anyone. He has no need of this, as he is working off his creation debt with Integrated Synthetics. Any attempts to claim ownership in Jay may result in password access being revoked.
