Step 1: Catch a Rabbit
Beatrice had been following her for a while. A cute, plump, rabbit outsider, with fur a light shade of pink. Beatrice had made sure to keep her distance, to not be spotted, but as the rabbit walked, the crowds started to thin out. Beatrice followed at a distance, but soon enough, they were the only two on the street. The rabbit had noticed her now, and became visibly anxious. Every few steps, the rabbit would look over its shoulder at her. Its steps became quicker, and soon, it ended up turning down an alleyway. Beatrice kept her pace, no use tiring herself out, after all. Beatrice followed the rabbit down the alleyway. The rabbit was starting to tire, as every time it paused to try and catch its breath, it would catch sight of Beatrice again, and it would dart off. Eventually, the rabbit ended up cornering itself in a dead end. It turned to looked at Beatrice with wide eyes.
“Please," it begged, “I don't know what you want, please, just let me go home."
Beatrice didn't respond. She approached the rabbit and quickly knocked it out with a blow to the head. She didn't kill it, not yet. Stays fresher longer that way, after all.
Step 2: Prepare the Rabbit
Beatrice entered her mistress's house through the back door, dragging the rabbit behind her. This door was closer to the kitchen, while also being more discrete. The rabbit showed no signs of stirring, even as Beatrice hefted it onto the kitchen counter. Beatrice quickly restrained its limbs. Not worth taking any chances of escape, even if it's asleep right now. Beatrice had to prep the kitchen area a bit before she could begin prepping the rabbit. Beatrice put on a pair of gloves and grabbed a meat hook. She hung the meat hook above a section of the kitchen that has a drain in the floor. Beatrice walked back over to the rabbit. Still unconscious, perhaps she hit it a bit too hard earlier. No matter. Beatrice once again hefted the rabbit over her shoulder, its arms and legs bound. She carried it over to the meat hook, and hanged it up by its foot, piercing it with the hook. The pain seemed to wake the rabbit, as it began struggling. Beatrice paid it no mind, as it is not like it could escape now. Beatrice grabbed her butcher knife from the counter and walks back over to where the rabbit is hanging. She swiftly slit it throat, and the rabbit ceased it thrashing. Beatrice then drained its blood and skinned it.
Step 3: Cook the Rabbit
Beatrice took a fine few cuts of the rabbit, storing the rest for later. She grabbed a few vegetables and fungi from her mistress's larder. The vegetables were lightly fried along with the mushrooms. The rabbit meat was cooked, then simmered in a red wine gravy for flavor and added juiciness.
Step 4: Serve
Beatrice plated the dish, and then brought it out to her mistress, Gluurp. Her ever benevolent mistress inspected the dish, then downed it in one gulp. The oggorus then brought Beatrice close, petting her head and neck.
“You're a wonderful cook, dear. Make this again tomorrow, okay?"
Beatrice sighed happily, her face pressed against her mistresses bust. She would do whatever was asked of her.
