The sudden transition would have caused Kevin to jump back had he not been tied down to a chair, the same one that he had seen right before he made his first attempt at escaping. He could feel the fingers of the other wolf pushing against the bindings of his mask until an electric shock caused him to jump back. Even still being slightly out of it watching his enemy have to shake his fingers due to the defense mechanism on his mask caused him to chuckle slightly. As he watched his captor curse slightly to himself it gave the white-furred wolf a chance to take a look at his surroundings.

Unfortunately there wasn't much to see; other than the chair he was sitting in the only other things in the room were the light bulb hanging over his head and a table that his captor was currently leaning against. At first Keven thought that he was talking into a radio or something like that but as his vision cleared and his goggles kicked back on-line he noticed that it was actually a large metallic canister about the size of someone's head. He then cursed himself mentally for making such a comparison since he imagined what could possibly be going inside of the container if they couldn't get his mask off. Still, if there was anything he gleaned from his surreal trip down memory lane it was the importance of keeping the one piece of equipment he had left on.

“What do you want with me?" Kevin asked, deciding to take the chance to do a little counter-interrogation as he watched the head of the other wolf slowly turn back towards him. “If you were going to kill me you would have just done so already, so you have to be keeping me here for some purpose."

“Once again you are proving more resilient then I had anticipated…" Vulas replied with a slight smirk on his muzzle. “As you can see we're not going to be making that mistake again, you will remain in your current position until you allow us to properly introduce you to our master. For that to happen we're going to need to take that mask of yours off."

Master… there it was again, Kevin thought to himself as he watched the naked male continue to work on something that was on the table. Normally when it came to organizations or military outfits they did have a leader, but they never called them master or anything of that nature. That was both good news and bad news; good news meant that however many were here likely didn't have the training that would prevent a squad from dealing with them, the bad news is they were typically crazy and that made them very unpredictable. They also appeared to have access to some sort of psychotropic drug that not only knocked him out but made him remember… very lewd things as he attempted to try and slip his bindings.

“Oh I wouldn't bother trying to escape," Vulas stated as he turned around after whispering to the cylinder once again. “As your previous attempt should have taught you this place is a maze of tunnels that they burrowed around here looking for fortune. Of course they did have a few signs posted here and there to lead you back to the elevator but I made sure to take those down, wouldn't want to make it easy for you after all."

“You're not going to get away with this," Kevin responded angrily. “I don't know what you think you're going to gain by having me meet your master but the second the rest of my squad finds out where I am, they're going to come down and bring all manner of fury down on you and the rest of your kind. We don't take very well to having one of our own kidnapped."

To his surprise the lupine laughed, then approached him once more with his eyes gleaming. “Is that what you think is going to happen?" he asked, Kevin leaning back as far as he can when he saw the strange green glow in his eyes that he had missed before. “You see, before it was just me and the master, but then we happened upon someone that was looking for us. Once I introduced our new friend to my master he quickly became our master, and he was the one that knew that your little squad was out there looking for us. That's when he came up with the brilliant plan to lure one of you here… you see my master wasn't strong enough to impart all his power to me, or even to my friend, but I think you will do just fine."

“You're a sick freak…" Kevin said, though his resolve was starting to erode as he began to see other oddities in the wolf's physique such as what he thought were veins wiggling slightly of their own accord or throbbing as they pushed past his fur. “I don't know what's happened to you but when my Captain gets here he'll-“

“Oh I think I know what he's going to do far better than you," Vulas interrupted, causing Kevin's eyes to widen as he heard the door open behind him. “Although if you don't believe me you can ask him yourself… he was the one I was waiting on after all."

Kevin's blood felt like it had turned to ice as he heard a heavy pair of footsteps behind him, followed by a pair of hands pressing gently against his neck and shoulders. “Sorry I couldn't be here in person when you woke up," the sound of the Captain's voice rang in Kevin's ears, though he heard a strange pitch shift every so often that made it sound otherworldly in nature. “Vulas, I told you that you wouldn't be able to remove his mask without my presence involved, did you get a little overeager to share our master with him?"

The two continued to have a back and forth conversation but all Kevin could hear was the blood pounding in his ears as his mind reeled with questions. The other person that his captor had talked about… it was the Captain? In his mind the wolf actively resisted the idea that the one he looked up to, the one he shared a bed with had so easily switched himself over to the other side. The way he talked though and calling whomever was in charge their master made it seem like he had betrayed the entire team. But to what end, why would someone so strong and dedicated get overwhelmed by just two people?

When Vulas turned back towards the table the Captain moved to his spot and finally entered Kevin's field of view, causing the white wolf to gasp. His superior had always been in shape, his drug-induced dream more than reminding him of that, but what stood before him was what he would call a perfect specimen of a lupine. Not an ounce of body fat was on his muscular form and the way his black and white fur laid smoothly over his body it accentuated every inch of his handsome body. Like the tan-furred lupine his eyes also glowed with an unearthly green light and when he showed off his form Kevin could see those same moving veins.

“Captain… what are you doing…" Kevin said, the other wolf leaning down and grinning at him. “This isn't you…"

“Oh, is it now?" the Captain replied with a scoff as he crossed his arms. “I know we slept together but sharing a bed with someone doesn't make you an expert on who they are. Once we introduce you to our master though then it's not going to matter because we're going to share more then we could ever had before."

“The only thing you're going to share is a cell with the lunatic that you betrayed us for!" Kevin shouted, feeling his strength returning as the drugs in his system continued to wear off. “Even if you're here the rest of the team is going to figure it out and you, him, and your master will never see the light of day again!"

“He is a feisty one," Vulas chimed in as he came back to stand next to the Captain, the grins on their faces nearly identical as Vulas kept his hands behind his back. “I suppose there's no time like the present, prepare him for meeting with the master and let him be blessed as we have."

Kevin's mind raced as he began to think of all the possible escape routes while his Captain moved behind him, no doubt to remove the bindings on his arms and legs so that they could move him to wherever the one they called the master is. While running wasn't a great option, not to mention that it appeared the two were dosed with some sort of performance enhancing chemical or drug, if he could get the element of surprise on the Captain he might possibly take them both out. Or he could follow them and hope that this person is on the surface, which means he might be able to get a signal out or make a run for it into the wilderness. They'll probably still keep his hands tied together so he'll have to find something-…

There was an audible click and Kevin's eyes widened as the mask and goggles that had been on his face suddenly dropped away from him, exposing him for the first time since he had been captured. He mentally cursed himself when he remembered that the Captain had the code to all their masks… and if they had an aerosolized version of the drug they exposed him to he would no longer be protected. He tried to look back at the wolf who had just removed his last means of protection but a strong pair of hands forced his head to remain staring at the other wolf in front of him.

“Just remember that all of this is your doing…" the Captain whispered as Vulas approached Kevin. “I know why you wanted to be in my squad in the first place, and while I took advantage of it to sleep with you I want you to remember that you were using me too…"

Before Kevin could say anything about the accusation Vulas put his hands forward and what the white-furred wolf saw in his palms caused him to attempt to jump out of the chair he was bound too. The thing looked like something you would find on the floor of the ocean; the entire creature was bright green with tentacles that wiggled around in the air. It was quite clearly alive and as Kevin continued to attempt to back away from it he was held firmly in place as he heard the two whisper the word master over and over again. Nothing in Kevin's training or anything in his life could have prepared him for this… and all he could do was watch with wide eyes as Vulas continued to move the organism towards the lupine's mouth.

“Our master has been so keen to meet you," Vulas said as the green tint in his eyes seemed to grow even brighter as he held the strange organism. “He's been so lonely all this time… but now that he has a full host he can control he can finally spread to all of us. I look forward to fully being able to serve him once he is inside you, your Captain highly recommended you for the honor of being his chosen vessel."

“You can't be serious!" Kevin said as he still arched his neck back, only to feel the hand of his Captain push him back forward. “Don't you see that you're being controlled by some alien parasite thing! Captain, snap out of it, you can't do this to one of your own!"

“You are not one of ours…" the Captain replied. “Not yet…"

“The time of talking is done!" Vulas said as he held the glowing green ball in the air, Kevin grunting as the Captain took his hands and pried his mouth open. “With the joining of our master to this host we can finally resume our spread throughout this world! Soon all will be touched and know his influence!"

The second those tentacles were close enough Kevin felt them latch around his muzzle and drag the rest of its body forward. In a last ditch effort he attempted to try and bite down on it but the combination of the stronger wolf behind him keeping his jaws open and his lips and tongue quickly becoming numb from whatever slime this thing was secreting made it impossible. With the gooey body firmly in his maw it appeared to have a clear target of where it wanted to go and with the aid of Vulas Kevin felt those tendrils pushing its way down inside of his throat. Kevin attempted everything from thrashing his head to pushing his tongue against it to dislodge the creature but it was no use, the cooling numb sensation quickly spread to his throat as he could feel the front of his neck bulge with the body of this alien creature.

When it was about halfway down Kevin felt his own throat muscles reacting, attempting to push the thing inside of it deeper down despite his best efforts to the contrary. Both Vulas and the Captain backed away once it was clear there was no way for the other wolf to dislodge it and they watched with eager eyes as several of the bright green tentacles could still be seen swirling around the maw of the restrained host. They could see their master continuing to move down, nearly its entire body now in Kevin's throat. Even before the alien creature had made its way completely inside they could see that their Master had started to confer its blessing to him.

Kevin was forced to breathe through his nose as he could feel the creature wiggling down into his chest, but as he did he felt something else happening to the area. While his time in training had made him very physically fit he could feel his pectorals, his neck muscles, his shoulders all thickening from the influence of the thing inside him. It soon became clear this thing wasn't just going to be content inside him as despite the numbing influence of the creature's slime he could its tendrils spreading throughout his body. His breathing quickened when he realized the veins inside the other two creatures were not veins at all, looking down at his own arms his eyes widened as the alien parasite wiggled around underneath his fur while his pectorals bulged with new growth.

This can't be happening… this can't be happening… Kevin thought to himself in a panic as his heart raced, which only served to spread the parasite quicker through his body as it integrated with every aspect of him. When he was able to finally speak through his throat he let out a shout and flexed his arms, breaking the ropes binding him with his newfound strength. With his arms and legs freed his fingers immediately went to his throat in some vein attempt to try and get the parasite out of him, but as he let out a strangled roar of frustration he knew that it was too late. He felt to his knees and let out a howl of frustration as the writhing appendages underneath the fur of his chest continued to spread out through the rest of his body.

“I think we need to give some time for our Master to reassert itself," Vulas said as he put a hand on the Captain's shoulder. “Or I guess rather himself, now that it has found someone to merge with." Vulas passed by Kevin as he continued to sit there on his knees, grunting and groaning. “You won't find any more locked doors here, feel free to wonder about your heart's content… Master."

Hearing the word Master caused a tremble of pleasure to go through his entire body, no doubt from the parasite Kevin thought as he tried to move his body only to find the numbness had infiltrated his entire body. “I always knew you were the right one of the job," the Captain said, Kevin feeling his head get lifted up so he could see eye to eye. “I also look forward to interacting with you Master, but for now here's something for the two of you."

Kevin's eyes widened as the other wolf leaned in and kissed him, feeling his own tongue darting forward into the other male's mouth as well as a few other smaller appendages. When the Captain pulled back he saw those tendrils waving around in the air and dull green glow in Kevin's eyes before the other lupine quickly reasserted himself. Though Kevin tried to get his Captain to stay with him the black-furred wolf left, leaving him alone in the room with the creature still inside of him. No locked doors… the words of Vulas echoed in Kevin's skull and even with the alien parasite still inside him he felt remarkably clear-headed.

With a loud grunt Kevin got to his feet, leaning against the destroyed remains of the chair in order to attempt to get up faster. As the wood started to splinter beneath him it was clear he was heavier than before, feeling the alien-enhanced muscle flexing as he moved. When he looked down he found tendrils of the parasite had already reached his calves, making them bulge like something from a bodybuilder competition as they were sculpted by the creature inside of him. His feet also swelled slightly and he found that to be a blessing as his balance went from shaky to stable like he was relearning how to walk.

Get to the others… that was the only thing that went through Kevin's mind as he staggered his bulkier body through the hallway. At this point his muscle growth was reaching a point where he was about to be on par with the Captain, or at least before the parasite got a hold of him. The sudden thought caused a flash of memory in his mind… but it was not a memory of his. He nearly fell to his knees as he suddenly saw the face of the Captain, his mask heavily damaged and dangling from his face as he laid there bleeding.

The Captain had attacked them… attacked Vulas, Kevin quickly mentally admonished himself, and despite being trained in hand to hand combat the augmented abilities of the other wolf were too much for him. It was likely through Vulas' eyes the parasite watched as that same green squishy body was placed in front of him, watching as tendrils grew from it and pushed their way into the ears and nostrils of the lupine in front of him. It would release spores that would take route in the transgressor's mind and body, it thought, which would convert him over to their side as Kevin saw the Captain's head thrash about slightly before going still with wide eyes that began to glow.

But as the memory left him and Kevin shook his head to clear his mind of the images it made him wonder why the parasite hadn't just taken over the Captain instead? The wolf then suddenly felt tendrils pushing their way up the back of his neck that caused him to slap against it in some futile effort to stop them, though he stopped clawing at them when the answer filled his mind. The creature inside him had been weak and the potential host had been damaged… to try and merge with him would have possibly killed them both. They needed a healthy body for the alien to gestate in… which was when the infected Captain called out to have another member of his team come in to investigate.

Infected… that was what Kevin realized he was now. What if this was its plan all along, to ride in his body until he could leave and then completely taken him over? At the moment it appeared that his mind has remained relatively stable but as he looked down and flexed his arms he could see more of those tendrils infesting his body. Even if he could get to the team now it was unlikely they could separate him from the parasite, just like they probably wouldn't be able to do the same to Vulas or the Captain. That meant that if he exposed himself to the others they would take him and chop him up into little pieces, dissect him and the others for science as he found himself imagining his body sprawled out on the table…

“No!" Kevin said angrily, punching into a nearby support stone wall to clear his head of the thoughts. “That's the survival instincts of the parasite… if I have to give myself to my team to stop this in its tracks then that's what I'll have to do."

As Kevin took a second to steady himself he looked down at his palm and saw that he had managed to cut himself a bit. What came out of the wound was not blood though, at least not entirely as tiny green tendrils poked their way out and a mixture of green and red oozed out of it. It didn't take long before the tiny filaments seemed to knit together, closing the wound completely to the point where if he hadn't seen it, he wouldn't have known that it had ever been there. As he looked at his healed hand in disbelief, he turned to look at the stone wall he had bunched and nearly jumped back in surprise.

The rock was heavily cracked and looked like someone had hit it with a sledgehammer even though Kevin hadn't really put all his effort into it. No wonder Vulas kicked the Captain's butt, he thought to himself as he continued to move forward, the parasite had was not only completely infesting his body but somehow also… changing it, evolving it. How it was doing such a thing he didn't know, all he knew was that every moment this thing was inside him was another moment he was taking from what he had been before. For all he knew this thing was going to turn him into some sort of gooey tentacle monster when it was done with him, and that was a risk he wasn't going to take as he made his way through the mine tunnels.

Once more however Kevin found himself hopelessly lost, realizing it when he passed by the same rock wall he had punched earlier. There had to be some way to figure out where to go, Kevin thought as he held his head in his hands and felt his fingers growing slightly thicker. He knew he was quickly running out of time; at first he thought he was going to have some alien consciousness trying to force him out of his head, but as time went on he realized it was going to be far subtler than that. It started with thinking about his Captain and if he should bother saving him… and as those thoughts progressed they turned once more to their times being intimate together, only the two wolves in his mind were completely infested with this alien parasite.

More than once he had also wondered if it wouldn't be better just to try and give in and escape later, a plan which had been feasible until he realized how horny that made him. For some reason this thing's tentacles weren't in his head yet physically, but mentally he could feel them corrupting his thoughts and actions and possibly getting him lost. He could only imagine what it was like to be Vulas, having spent the most time under the thrall of the parasite he wondered if there was anything left of the wolf inside that head of his. That seemed to trigger another memory from the parasite this time, Kevin clutching his head and hissing as thoughts that weren't his own flooded his mind.

Kevin suddenly found himself outside, looking at the stars as something was carrying him. After about a minute he was roughly set down and was looking up at Vulas, who seemed to be looking at him with a pair of glasses. “What an amazing find…" the wolf said, picking up something front the table that he realized was a scalpel. “If this really is an extraterrestrial creature I'm going to have to send samples to every lab I know so they can collaborate their findings, just hoping this thing-“

The first time that sharp steel touched the alien it reacted like any creature would, firing a cloud of spores directly into the face of the doctor. It caused the wolf to sneeze several times and drop the scalpel, then fall out of sight. Time passed… or at least he thought it might, it was hard to tell since this creature had no concept of it, until finally Vulas reappeared in the creature's vision. The transformation was startling as Kevin saw the lupine's face practically shifting as the spores took root, deeply corrupting his mind as smaller tendrils had already pushed their way out of his nostrils, ears, and mouth. He said something about being sorry and please help but he couldn't tell if that was to the parasite or to someone else… all he knew was sometime later the wolf came back and referred to it as master, bowing low to it as Kevin saw the ridge of his eye bulge slightly.

This time when Kevin wondered why the parasite didn't just order Vulas to consume him the answer was nearly instantaneous. The alien was still weak and Vulas made a better servant than host… while the other wolf was smart he lacked the discipline, fortitude, and physical health needed to survive the assimilation process. Kevin felt his entire body shudder when the word assimilation crossed through his mind because that was exactly what this thing was doing to him. More and more it was getting harder to distinguish what thoughts were his and what were the creature's… unless they were all his.

The small thought that everything he had been feeling might have come from him seemed to open the floodgates, Kevin groaning as those tendrils finally pushed their way up into his skull. The potent alien chemical had already been leaking into his brain for some time now, but as the line between wolf and parasite became distorted it appeared that the creature was ready for more direct access. Green ooze began to leak from the wolf's eyes, ears, and nostrils as the alien invaded it, making Kevin confused as he not only dealt with the alien's instincts but the memories it had absorbed from Vulas and the Captain as well…

Vulas's memories… Kevin's eyes widened as he realized that Vulas likely knew this place like the back of his hand. If he could somehow tap into them maybe he would be able to find the way out, but that would also mean trying to access something in the parasite itself. If he failed he would be hastening his own corruption, though at this point he wasn't sure if he would have much time left anyway. It was worth a shot, the wolf thought as he mustered up every ounce of his training and resolve to not only keep his own mind but to push into the parasite to figure out where to go.

At first he got nothing except for a surge of corrupted thoughts, his own inner voice practically whispering at him as his body continued to grow. At this point every minute that passed was like he had spent a day at the gym, his own form starting to become alien to him as he was practically shaking with exertion. Just as he was about to give up and collapse though something started to come through, Kevin realizing that the tunnels he was seeing in his mind were not the ones that he was currently in. His ears perked up when he also heard a sound of someone coming, and whether it was Vulas or the Captain he couldn't risk being caught now that he found a means to get out.

Though it was hard to get a point where he was standing eventually he found a recognizable spot both in the memories of Vulas and that he could find. From there it was just a matter of retracing his steps so that he could escape… but the faster he went the more he could hear someone coming up behind him. Even with his evolved body Kevin found it unlikely that he could withstand an assault from either one of them, whether it be physically or mentally. It appeared this parasite operated a lot like a hivemind and he guessed the closer they were to one another the stronger this creature's hold was on them.

Eventually Kevin found the exit to the mind, his breathing labored and slightly raspy from the increased fluid coming out of his body. Though it no longer numbed him the alien ooze inside him seemed to be having a slightly different effect on him as he looked down at his cock. It had been fully erect ever since he started tapping into the parasite to make his escape and he believed that was what caused such a vivid recollection of his time with the Captain, though as he thought about that he found out that it was also the black-furred wolf that had found him and knocked him out on his first escape attempt thanks to the GPS tracker in his mask. None of that really mattered now though, not when the elevator to his freedom was right in front of him.

His thoughts of victory were grounded back to reality when he heard something quickly coming from around the corner, Kevin grabbing the steel door that separated the elevator from the rest of the mine and forcing it shut. While it wouldn't stop two augmented wolves it might slow them down, which was all he was counting on as he went over to the elevator to call it. “C'mon…" he said as he looked up, hearing the metal already starting to buckle as he kept pressing the button. “Damnit, Vulas must have somehow sabotaged the shaft…"

Once more the lupine remembered that he had access to the memories of the one who did it, closing his eyes and trying to find where Vulas had stopped the elevator from working. He knew that it had to be something that could be fixed down here since they were all currently down there. As quickly as he could he traced the other infected wolf's steps from the elevator, watching in his mind's eye as he went over to a circuit breaker and used it to shut down the power leading into the system…

A circuit breaker on the other side of the door he had just closed…

Suddenly Kevin found himself plunged into darkness as the lights all popped off, likely due to someone at the same system he just discovered. With no ability to see he couldn't even attempt to climb the elevator shaft, even though the car was blocking it only a few floors up. It didn't take long after that to see that he wasn't alone in the room as he heard the metal door get bashed in and fall to the ground, followed by seeing a pair of glowing green eyes floating right where the door would be. How they managed to get it open without him earing about it Kevin couldn't fathom, all he knew was that he was about to have a fight on his hands as he readied himself.

“Oh please…" a distorted and otherworldly voice said. “Do you honestly think you can just, what, beat me up and then try to find your way through the darkness to the breaker."

“I can try," Kevin shout back. “So who am I speaking too, Vulas? The Captain? Or am I finally speaking to the parasite?"

“I'm sure you know by now that is a very hard thing to answer," the voice replied, Kevin continuing to watch those eyes as they floated slightly closer to him and he backed away. “What if I told you that the parasite itself wasn't capable of speaking in such a way? That it's really quite the simple organism?"

“I would tell you that you're lying," Kevin responded quickly once more. “I saw what it did the Captain, how it first infested Vulas, how they both call it master. Do you honestly think that you could convince me that there's not some greater intelligence behind something like that?"

“Perhaps…" the voice stated, those glowing eyes continuing to go back and forth while inching ever closer. “Or maybe it's a mechanism as old as time to spread and defend itself, the same type of mechanism that can be found here. Just because it's a parasite doesn't mean that it has to completely take over the minds of the ones it infests, just… repurpose it so that it does what it wants."

Kevin gritted his teeth as the creature that the parasite is likely puppeting continued to take verbal jabs at him, though he wondered why it wasn't just attacking him outright. Was it trying to get him to admit that having a parasite was a good thing? Or was it attempting to protect itself from Kevin exposing him to the world? Either way he realized that with the way they were moving he was now standing with the way to the circuit breaker behind him.

“Well let me tell you this," Kevin said with all his determination. “I'm never going to lose to you!" With that he turned and made a dash towards the open entrance, being careful not to trip on the destroyed door in the process. What he found was that the door wasn't on the ground, instead it was still closed as he smashed into it and fell backwards a few feet before getting sprawled out onto the ground.

As Kevin continued to lie there he struggled to get up, only to have those glowing green eyes were suddenly hovering right above him. “Oh, my dear Kevin, haven't you realized it yet?" Kevin heard a snap of fingers and his eyes widened as he found himself staring into his own face, save for brightly glowing green eyes staring directly down at him. “You've already lost…"
