Unexpected, Undeserved ~ Chapter 16
Always kind of nerve-wracking when your sibling walks in on you with your fling, right? Even if you're not doing anything you're not supposed to. :3c Rick seems like a nice guy. I figured it was time we get to know him a little better.

The cicadas had started up by the time the two had nearly finished their second circuit of the trail. Eli, at that time, was dragging and panting and grabbing onto Lynn for support every time they slowed or stopped; the striped hyena let herself drift back a little bit to make sure he wouldn’t pass out or anything, but at the same time, still wanted to give him a challenge. Besides, she liked the way he grabbed onto her, slick sweaty pawpads gripping the sun-heated fur of her wrists or shoulders, the latter sometimes pushing the strap of her bra to the side.
It had been hard at one point not to clasp her paw over his and slide it down beneath the elastic material. Still, though, the look she shared with him as they slowly floated their way back to the car, the color of the sky having started to thicken and darken with the deepening afternoon… “I bet you’re thirsty, huh?” she’d asked, intentionally layering the double meaning. “Yeah,” Eli had replied after a brief pause. His tongue hung out of his mouth, a thick bead of saliva wobbling from yet clinging to the end. “Like a high school kid who’s fucked twice.”
Even now, sitting over breakfast with the wild dog across from her and Rick by her side, she couldn’t quite smother a smile remembering that. “Twice?” she’d asked, already able to feel that same smile touch her lips though she hadn’t known the reason. “Yeah,” Eli had gone on, his words separated by tired panting. “Virgins are always super nervous – God knows I was – and one fuck is often a fluke. Get two under your belt, and suddenly you know exactly what you want, and you’ll do just about anything to get it.”
_ _
The hyena let her eyes drift back from the window beside their booth to the wild dog himself, who returned her gaze as he sucked idly on his drink. What kind of psychopath gets hot chocolate in the middle of summer? Sure, it had rained a little bit last night again, but that hadn’t done much of anything to mute the sharp blaze of the sun, even now in the respectably-early morning.
In those warm silver-brown eyes, that still half-sleepy morning look, Lynn found… something. She herself couldn’t quite put her finger on what it was, just as she hadn’t been able to the previous night when Eli slumped over her, his paws tight on her shoulders and her legs bent at an awkward angle in front of him, his hard, pulsing cock clamped between the pads of her footpaws, holding tight as he finished up the last few spurts of his peak across her belly and inner thighs, and –
Lynn licked her lips and forced herself to turn to Richard, still talking about how he learned he was gay. It was a good story, and one that Lynn recalled most of from her own viewpoint growing up – though she always enjoyed hearing his side of it, as he obviously had a couple of fun little things that she’d missed along the way. Eli had returned his attention to him as well, visible out of the corner of her eye; Lynn slid one of her footpaws forward, found his, pushed the ankle of his jeans up a little bit, softly rubbed, just as she’d done before. Satellite-dish ears perked and, just for a moment, his eyes flicked back to her – and she saw that same thing there again.
Hard to say what that look was, though it felt so, so familiar. The kind of familiar that came from when she’d passed through the student center after her last exam and she picked up a scent that her nose remembered but her brain didn’t, something warm and cloying, faintly synthetic, yet not chemical. It had bugged her for the rest of the day as well as the full drive back down, and she’d never figured out what it was.
Just as Eli’s look had a certain warmth to it, a kind of sparkle. Just – something more to it, something she hadn’t consciously noticed until Friday night. When he’d rolled over in her arms, and nuzzled in against her shoulder, and shifted up to watch her… and they’d kissed. She still wondered if he’d been able to feel the sudden flutter in her heart from that, or the bright energy that shot through her body. It had taken a remarkable amount of willpower not to roll him onto his back and try to suck his tongue out of his mouth.
Again. Lynn hid a soft, stirring blush behind her own glass of water. Her favorite kind of kiss was the kind that tasted of herself.
“You have a boyfriend, right?” Eli said to Richard, his bite of pancakes shoved into the side of his cheek. “Is this the same one as back then, or?”
“Oh, nah. Thank God, no.” The male hyena leaned over to nudge his sister with her shoulder. She glowered at him over her drink, then returned the nudge. “Lynn saw it before I did – Artem was a fuckin’ dickweed. Great dick, don’t get me wrong – I mean, zebra, and I’m a hyena, so you know I’m all over that meat – but the guy was an asshole. It just took me ‘til I’d gotten out of high school to realize it. Twenty-twenty hindsight, always.”
Right then, Rick’s eyes met Lynn’s, and she felt another something pass between the two of them. Lynn can attest to that, he was thinking; she could tell. Eli knew some of that, sure, but… Rick smiled faintly, then turned back to the wild dog.
“Yeah. Nah. My boy right now – cheetah.”
“Ooh.” Eli took another sip of his drink, then leaned in to rest his chin on his paws folded in front of him. “I like cheetahs.”
Richard chuckled. “I bet you do. That’s fitting, isn’t it? Wild dog…” He motioned at himself and Lynn. “Hanging out with hyenas, crushing on cheetahs. Next you’re gonna tell me that you also had a zebra boyfriend once.”
“Well, not boyfriend, but…” Shrug, and the slightest sly smile on his lips.
Lynn’s eyes widened with amused surprise; she tapped her footpaw against his ankle again and mouthed, nearly unable to hide another smile, Is that true?
Eli swallowed, tightened his lips, and looked for a moment as though he were putting every fiber of his being into avoiding a smile. He forced himself to look back to Rick. Lynn made a mental note to ask him about that later; she’d dated a stallion once herself, and that had been by far her favorite and most exhausting relationship, for a number of reasons.
Rick tapped a claw against the table. “Ooh. Now there’s a look. I bet there’s a story there I wanna hear, huh?”
“I mean – well, I-”
“Nah, don’t worry about it. Anyway – Miguel’s a sweetie. My boyfriend.”
It was Lynn’s turn to shrug. “I almost asked him about a threesome. If not for – exclusively gay, and, y’know.” She nodded her head towards the other hyena. “Brother.”
“Hey, I have an open mind. You of all people should know that – hey! Don’t give me that look! That was a joke!”
Right as she started to reach for Rick’s ticklish spots – Lynn had learned long ago about digging her thumbs into his ribs – her ears perked and swiveled to the sound of footsteps passing by. She turned in her seat, then had to look up to meet the eyes of the lanky caracal waitress who had seated and served them, now asking if the meal was to their expectations. Lynn thought her waffles had come out a little cold, but it wasn’t big enough a complaint to voice it: what came out was a garbled combination of general satisfaction from the three of them, the boys trying their best to look as though they hadn’t just been talking about zebra dick.
Lynn eyed her as she went off, the customer-service smile visibly slipping from her muzzle as soon as she’d turned. Definitely heteroflexible. She took another, more appreciative, sip of her water before turning back to Eli across from her. The wild dog seemed to have been watching: he raised his eyebrows, nodded back toward the waitress, and grinned. Lynn rolled her eyes and kicked at his ankle.
All in all, though, she really couldn’t complain about the breakfast – both the food and the experience itself. This would be the first real instance where Eli and her brother had had time to sit down and talk with one another, what with Richard always being busy with Miguel, and Lynn maybe kinda-sorta intentionally keeping Eli away from him – not since she though he’d steal him, but rather since she didn’t want to have to deal with the embarrassment of her brother walking in on her playing around with another boy, again – and, well… she leaned in to finish up her waffles, keeping an eye and an ear on the two of them.
It really did seem like they were getting along, with Eli laughing at Rick’s little jokes and his amusing stories, and then even sharing some of his own once the male hyena had finished. Richard had only ever gotten along with maybe two of Lynn’s past boyfriends, and she’d never understood why until afterward. Just as he’d said, twenty-twenty hindsight. Almost always a bad sign when your family can’t stand your partner.
Though, honestly, that hadn’t been her intention in bringing the two of them together here; just a side-effect of Eli complaining this morning that he was hungry, Lynn saying she didn’t want to put the effort into cooking, and Richard having wanted to bring her here for the past two months since he’d come with his own boyfriend.
Both of them suddenly broke out laughing, bringing Lynn’s attention back to the conversation for a moment. Seemed like they had moved on from chatting about boyfriends to sharing tales of past – experiences, so to say, Rick relating something Lynn hadn’t known about his zebra fling, and Eli responding with something that could only mean his goddamn fox addiction. “Wide around as my fist,” he said, and held it up for emphasis. Rick looked from him to the fist, then leaned forward to close it in his own paw, thought for a moment, and then- “Oh, that’s not too bad, but yeah, I getcha…”
Lynn had plenty of both boyfriend and sex stories to share, but a fair number weren’t the kind that would really be welcome here. Still, when Eli’s eyes fell on her again, she gave him a warm smile. It came without having to be forced, and his return smile felt the same. A moment later, his footpaw brushed against hers again, returning some of the small touches and rubs she’d half-consciously continued with throughout the meal.
“Talk about loud, though…” Rick was saying, chin in his paw. Eli chuckled, hiding his muzzle behind his own paw. That said something. Lynn smirked, having to bring her glass up again to keep from adding to the conversation; it doesn’t have to be the volume, she thought, but sometimes when you get it just right, and they push their muzzle into your neck, and you can feel the heat of their breath with their moans, and can feel their teeth on your skin… and you keep on doing it, and they’re moving and grinding against you, and their moans are getting higher and higher, and louder and louder…
It was rude to talk about someone while they sat there with you. Eli caught her smirk, though – she’d been half-hoping he would – and without even knowing what crossed her mind, a blush suddenly tinted his wide ears.
~ ~ ~
As usual, Richard left after breakfast to go run some errands with Miguel, leaving the two of them on their own again. The hyena left his number with Eli before he went, though, saying that he wasn’t sure he’d be back before the wild dog had to go home himself.
“Well, I was thinking maybe I’d go home around, like… early afternoon? Maybe? There are some things I have to get done, too…”
“Early afternoon?” Lynn said, as soon as the front door clicked shut behind her brother. Eli turned to face her, having to tilt his muzzle up to meet her eyes, and wagged slowly. That was another thing: he wagged when he looked at her. Even if she wasn’t talking to him, even if she hadn’t said anything deserving of it. And he didn’t seem aware of it, either. “It’s just past noon now.”
He shrugged. Two small steps closed the distance between them; Eli bumped the side of his head against the taller hyena’s chest, for her to wrap her arms around his middle back. “I mean, I can probably stay a bit late.”
“You’d better. I haven’t quite gotten my fill yet.” A nuzzle to the cheek and some weak tugging provided enough to start leading the wild dog over towards the living room. “Hey, c’mere. Let’s watch a movie.”
The embrace melted until it left only their paws intertwined, Eli giving a gentle squeeze and Lynn returning it. She could feel a small section of matted fur along the back of one of his knuckles, where he’d dropped a glob of syrup over breakfast. She rubbed at it with a claw, though still he didn’t notice.
“Is it the same one as last time I came over?” The paw-grip, too, fell away once they’d each plopped down onto the couch, close enough from the start this time that they pushed down on the cushions in one spot instead of two. What had happened between the two of them? Did those two weeks without seeing him really have such an impact on me? “Since, y’know, I wasn’t really… wasn’t really paying full attention that time…”
Lynn chuckled quietly, then reached for the remote. “I wasn’t thinking so, but no, this is another one.”
She didn’t tell him that he wouldn’t pay much attention to this one, either. As soon as she’d gotten it up, the hyena slid down onto her side, heavy arm on Eli’s shoulder bringing him down in front of her. He gave one of his small little chirps, half surprise and half contentment, and quickly wriggled back against her chest; Lynn pushed her muzzle into the space between his neck and shoulder and settled it there, feeling that already-familiar stir in her chest of each inhalation bearing the slight touch of the wild dog’s scent.
Her relative silence earlier today over breakfast had come from her mind starting to stray into dangerous territory. Thoughts about – I’m just fooling myself, and it’s just gonna happen all over again, and it always feels good at the start, but then it just falls right the fuck apart, and I’m just touch-starved, and…
…and Eli shifted to settle himself more firmly against her once the title sequence passed, a quiet huff leaving his nostrils. He started wriggling his arm around, so Lynn lifted hers from over him – only for him to reach up, slip his fingers between hers, and pull it back down against his chest, another squeeze ensuring that she’d keep it there.
It’s just a fluke. It’s just infatuation. He’s super cute, and I like his dick, and this is the first time he’s done anything with a woman. We’re going way too fast for this to develop into anything with depth, and – and Eli shifted again a moment later, slipping one of his legs between Lynn’s ankles and resting his other on top, bare footpaws pushing up against her pads from underneath. It tickled a little bit, and made her kick; Eli seemed to take that as her pushing down against him, as he moved and did so again. The intro music of the movie faded away, the camera panned in, the muzzle of the main character – a devastatingly attractive wolf who was shirtless for about thirty-four cumulative minutes of the hour-forty runtime – came into view.
But I just… don’t want to name it. I don’t want to put the word to it, since that’ll make it real. Too real. What will I do then? And then there’s his fuckin’ thing with Marlin, still – I haven’t been pressing him about that since I trust him, since I want to trust him, but I still feel like… like I have to worry, like it’s only the right thing to do, but… honestly, she’d been thrown for a loop nearly as soon as Eli had come up to her Friday night, as he’d reeked of fox. Absolutely stank of it, rich, musky, masculine, sharp, all over him. He had to have been doing more than just suck his dick, and while it had sent a bright burst of something tumbling through the hyena’s head and chest, just having the wild dog there with her again, seeing his face, smelling his own scent beneath that thicker layer – all of this made that worry and annoyance negligible, almost.
Sure, it had come up during their run; Fox dick, specifically, she’d said, trying to slip a good dose of jest into her tone. Foxes have a really characteristic stink. Her mouth had wanted to keep on going, had wanted to bring up how when he’d first arrived, he smelled more of fox than wild dog. But, then – so do hyenas, he tossed back. So buried in her own thoughts, Lynn had almost missed the jab, but once it settled in, she couldn’t stop the grin that it pulled back out of her. He was right, in that regard: it used to be a point of self-consciousness in high school, until she had one boyfriend in particular who would bury his nose under her chin, into her neck, between her breasts; he’d trail a line of kisses down her belly, back then considerably squishier, down past her then-unpierced belly button, over the waist of her panties, and then – she could still remember the look on his face, the tilt of his ears, the hunger in his eyes – he’d place his paws against each of her thighs, spread them as far as she could go, and-
-and Eli Friday night, rolling over onto his side, nuzzling up along her jaw to meet her for a kiss. How he’d nuzzled down from there, set his muzzle into her neck, huffed softly… and how he’d stayed awake for twenty minutes longer just breathing, nosing around every now and then, finding a new spot to touch and taste. How he’d been searching for her scent.
That made sense, Lynn realized, as she shifted her arm under his body. He responded to touch, and to scent – she did too; mostly the first, a bit less so the second. The little squeezing of her paw around his, the slight shifting to push her body against his back, another little nuzzle and kiss to his neck that made him wriggle and rumble again.
_ _
But there’s Marlin. There’s always Marlin. I know how hard it is to leave a relationship like that, when you want so, so badly for it to work out, when it’s become comfortable and familiar even though everyone around you thinks it’s bad, when you’re the only one who can’t fucking see it, and- and Eli gently shook as a yawn racked his body, broad tongue sticking out for a second and a half near the end. Once done, the dog smacked his lips, sniffed, shifted a little more, adjusted his head on the arm of the couch, and relaxed. Lynn felt that yawn carry over into herself, too; she leaned back first, then forward again to press her muzzle against Eli’s back, letting the hot breath waft down his shirt once it hit. That made him squirm and give her paw another squeeze.
Maybe I just need to… quit worrying about it. Just need to stop thinking about it. There’s no proof that anything’s going to happen. There’s nothing saying anything will happen. I just have to relax, and… The hyena leaned in once more, nosed at the collar of Eli’s shirt, planted a light kiss to his shoulder. Then another a little further up, one to his neck, one at his jaw. He made another little rumbling in his throat, and she felt his tail try to thump between her legs.
_ _
Relax, and enjoy it. I deserve this. And he does, too.

~ ~ ~
The thump, rattle, and click of the front door jarred Eli awake. He tried to move, tried to sit up, but – a heavy hyena arm remained draped across his chest, keeping him right in place along with the tangle of his legs with Lynn’s further down. The wild dog craned his head trying to see around the corner that would lead to the entry way, already knowing the only person that that could be, and yet it still gave him a little bit of a startle when Rick strode by. He swallowed, held his breath, watched the male hyena pass… and then sighed when he disappeared into the kitchen, without having turned to see the two of them still wrapped up together on the couch.
What time is it? How long have we… the TV screen remained on, yet dimmed in the same way it had done last time they’d gotten distracted when watching something. That, and the nearby window showed a dimming glow in the spaces between the drawn curtains. The wild dog squirmed a little more, trying to wriggle his arm down beneath himself to fish his phone out of his pocket… and what he saw first and promptly ignored was the 2 new text messages from: Marlin notification.
On seeing the time, though, he scoffed. 4:06 PM. So much for ‘early afternoon’. No telling how long they’d made it into the movie before falling asleep; he seemed to remember noticing Lynn drifting off around the time the main villain first showed his face, and then… then he himself went off shortly after. That made sense, though – they had stayed up a bit late last night, and with the early start to the day for breakfast, lying down on the couch in the first place had felt like an inevitable trap.
_ _
Not that he could have said no, anyway. The dog closed his eyes and shifted where he lay, intentionally bumping back against Lynn’s warm form; the striped hyena stirred behind him, nuzzling up against his back and making some sort of snuffling sound in doing so. A cupboard clacked shut in the kitchen, drawing Eli’s eyes up again, but Richard remained where he was in there. Still trying to extricate himself so as to not put the two of them in a more compromising position, Eli squirmed, shifted under Lynn’s arm, reached up to take her paw in his to move it…
…and then looked up again, right as the male hyena turned the corner to come into the living room here. Rick stopped in his tracks, one footpaw raised, half-eaten granola bar in one paw, as his eyes across the two of them; Eli felt his ears flick back, and he gave a sheepish grin while still trying to pull himself out of Lynn’s grip.
Eli swallowed. “Hey, um… we weren’t, uh-” Finally he managed to pull himself up a bit, only to have Lynn stir behind him and lift her head as well. He looked over his shoulder, caught a glint of her sleepy multicolored eyes – that still stunned him: warm silver to rich orange-brown to smooth olive green – as she looked from him to her brother, then back to him. Instead of adding her own reason or explanation, though, she just sniffed again, turned her head to nuzzle up along Eli’s neck, which of course turned his slight embarrassment into strong embarrassment, and then dragged him back down alongside her.
Rick, meanwhile, raised his granola bar for another bite. Right at the edge of that, Eli caught the unmistakable glint of sharp fangs in an amused grin. “Mhmm,” he said, chewing off to one side. “I’m sure you weren’t. Don’t worry too badly, though – stains are pretty easy to clean off that couch.” He spun on his footpaw still on the ground to head down towards the hall. “Most of the time. Ask Lynn.”
That one brought a slightly disgruntled rumble from the hyena, vibrating through her chest and into Eli’s back in a way that made him giggle – which caused her grip to tighten on him, mashing him down into the couch. This, in turn, just sharpened his laugh and had him toss in a couple halfhearted complaints, which led to Lynn wrapping her other arm around him too, which meant he started squirming more… which ended with her on top of him, paws on his wrists above his head, sharp hyena teeth prickling in along the side of his neck as a playful growl thrummed in her throat.
“Lynn-” he managed, squirming, “what are you – we can’t – your brother’s-”
“No…” She pulled the skin of his neck along between her teeth before letting go. “I know. I’m just sending you home with a little something. A bit of… inspiration.”
With Lynn lifting up off of him, Eli took the chance to sit up as well. “Yeah, I… probably should be getting going… um…” He looked up at her, and she looked down at him. Then Eli came forward, arms coming right to their proper place around her body to pull her into a hug; the hyena’s wrapped around his shoulders, and he nuzzled into her neck. It would be hard to go another full week without her scent, her voice, her presence. “How long are you still in class for? The summer semester’s gotta be ending soon, right?”
“Yeah, in, like…” The hyena reached to brace a paw against the back of the couch, then used that leverage to stand up. She held her other down to Eli to help him up. “A month, about?”
“Will you be here in town after that?”
“I think so, yeah. For a bit, at least.” Her paw intertwined with his on the slow walk out of the living room. “Might be changing some things up with my degree plan at the end of this semester, so. We’ll see what happens.”
There it was again. We’ll see. Eli swallowed, eyes flicking past the bushy rise of Lynn’s mane toward the front door. The buzz of the cicadas, rising and falling like waves on a long shore, leaked in through the heavy wood. “I…. um, Lynn, I really enjoyed this weekend.” Then, suddenly, he was in her arms again – and on his toes – with his nose and lips tilted against her neck, right underneath her jaw. There, he could feel the thump, thump of her heart; once he’d gotten settled, it felt to speed up a bit. “A lot.”
Nearly a whisper: “Yeah.” She swallowed, then a moment later drew her paws up the wild dog’s back – and pressed and kneaded in near his shoulders, dropping him back down off of his tiptoes and making him melt forward against her for a moment. “I did too. You don’t even know, hon.”
For a moment, wrapped in her warmth and her scent, all he could offer back beneath that rubbing was some kind of throaty rumble. Then Lynn shifted her paws to his sides; Eli took a half-step back, enough so he could smile up at her, and so she could return the look; and then he leaned in, and she did, too, and they shared one last kiss.
Three or four last kisses, at least. Eli made sure to stuff his paws into his pockets on his way out the door, just in case anyone so happened to be walking by at that precise moment. Halfway down the sidewalk, though, his large ears swiveled back, catching both of the hyenas’ voices back by the door; he turned just in time to see Richard bustling down towards him, Lynn peering out from behind the door for one more second before it closed.
“Eli!”
“Oh.” He stopped. “Hey, Rick. What’s up? Um – it was nice, like, actually meeting you today.”
“Yeah, same. It was. I just – wanted to talk to you about…” The male hyena glanced behind himself. “My sister.”
Oh. Right. Eli swallowed, immediately switching into eye-contact-avoidance mode. “Yeah, uh – sorry about just now, on the couch, um, I wasn’t… we weren’t…”
Arms crossed at the edge of his vision. That wasn’t a good sign. “I wasn’t gonna get onto you about that. She’s her own woman; she’s made it clear several times in the past that she won’t tolerate me tryin’ to… police her boyfriends…” Rick turned to the side, footpaw tapping on the concrete. “Against her better judgment, most of the time, I’d say. That’s – actually what I wanted to talk to you about. Um…”
Boyfriends.
“Just… please be careful with her, okay?” His voice dropped low, so that Eli nearly had to lean towards him to hear properly. “She’s been through… a lot. A whole damn lot. Honestly, I’m surprised she’s not only able, but also willing to get involved in a relationship again, after what she’s been through.”
“A-” As soon as he started, Rick’s stare settled back on Eli, and he felt his entire body tense up. “Um. We’re not – I mean, it’s not… we’re not really… together, I mean…”
“Eli.” Was that another hint of amusement, lifting the edges of his mouth? “I saw you two on the couch. I saw the way she looked at you. And – remember, I got home late last night. I heard you.”
There it was, then. What is it with hyenas and making me blush?
“You, specifically.”
“I was-” The wild dog coughed, cleared his throat, swallowed, coughed again. “Trying to be quiet, um-”
“It did sound a bit muffled.” Rick tapped his chin as if in thought. “But. Yeah. I don’t know what you two’ve been up to when I’m not around – that’s none of my business – but… well, I don’t know. You do give me a good feeling, and… God,” said with a slight chuckle, “it has been a long time since I’ve seen her treat someone like she treats you. For a while it felt like she was just… going along with it, just trying to find something, someone who could…”
For a moment, his voice faded down beneath the repeating, overlapping trills of the cicadas. When had the sounds of crickets joined them? A breeze blew through the single tree in the front yard, a short way out into the lawn.
Rick sighed. “I guess I’m just saying, Eli… be careful. Please. She deserves your best, and better. I have no doubt she’s still terrified, sometimes, so just… try, won’t you? Be there for her like none of her other boyfriends ever were. Now, I’m not…” Here he raised his paws in a defensive gesture. “Not trying to be that rah, break her heart and I’ll beat you kind of older brother, I’m just… worried. Worried, and exhausted. So, please – as much for as for her.”
The hyena gave a faint, sad smile here, and though Eli could see it in the shape of his muzzle, the pattern of his stripes, the mix of colors in his eyes, there was nearly nothing of Lynn in that look. None of the Lynn he knew, at least.
“Be careful. And love her. Really, really love her.”
Breathless, for a moment. The up-and-down of those cicadas came and went, filling the space where that breath should have been.
“Yeah.” After a pause, Eli nodded. Richard’s gaze felt like magnets, pulling and holding his own eyes in place. “Yeah, I can… I can do that.”
That smile sharpened into one of relief and gratitude. “You can?”
“I will.”
