N/A.

Gaia opened her eyes for the first time, unaware of so many things but the one thing she knew was her name. She looked around, unable to comprehend what she saw for what she saw was beyond her ability to express with words.

??? - You are what I've been trying for.

Gaia's didn't really hear a voice as so much as she felt an impression.

Gaia - And what exactly am I ?

??? - You are as I named you Gaia, even as confused as you are you know that.

Gaia felt something but didn't know what.

??? - What you are feeling Gaia is an emotion. Annoyance. You are annoyed because I haven't really answered your question, right.

Gaia nodded.

??? - You are what I deem a Titan, the first Titan. There is more then that but for now that is what you shall know.

Gaia was still confused but let if go for she had something else to ask.

Gaia - What am I to call you.

??? - I am nameless but if you need to call me something call me Chaos.

Gaia - What happens now Chaos ?

Chaos - Now my daughter I will send you to wonder the world, your world, and wonder you shall until you decide what is needed.

Gaia was going to ask what a daughter was when she suddenly knew as if she always had.

Gaia - If you're going to send me someplace then what is this place.

Chaos - This is a place outside of your ability to understand for it exists yet doesn't and I can tell without even trying that you don't understand which is fine. If you must name this place that is not a place then name it The Void.

Chaos - Before I send you I must first take something from you. This will hurt.

If Chaos hadn't told her it'd hurt she wouldn't have known what hurt was and oh did it hurt.

Gaia - What did you take from me ?

Chaos - Something that will be needed later and before you ask, yes I did have to take it now for once I send you to your world you will change. Become less, so I had to take it now before such a diminish can take place.

Gaia didn't fully understand but she remained silent.

Chaos - Do you have anything to ask before I send you ?

Gaia thought and thought and thought.

Gaia - Why can I see through myself yet at the same time I can't ?

Chaos - It is because of The Void. Your perception of your own body is being....Not even I can phrase it for you. Just know that when you go to your world your perception will not be as it is now.

Gaia nodded again.

Chaos - Anything else ?

Gaia - Nothing that I can think of.

Chaos - Then close your eyes and prepare for sensations that are beyond your ability to fully grasp.

Gaia did as Chaos asked and as soon as she did so she felt as if her whole being was vibrating. She also felt what Chaos had told her she would. She also got the impression of Chaos again but it was different, lesser.

Chaos - My Gaia, My Daughter. You will hold great power over your world. You will not understand now but you will. It will be painful to go through this but you must, know that while I'll in a sense be watching over you my interference will be few. At times you'll feel abandoned and may even come to hate me and know I accept that. Now Gaia, I say goodbye to you and now you must open your eyes.

Gaia felt great sadness, for that's indeed what she felt, but she opened her eyes and gasped at what she beheld.

Gaia gasped at what she beheld but it was out of sadness, not joy. As far as she could see what she saw was grey and barren for the moment her gaze fell upon this she knew what this world, her world, was. Barren.

Dark clouds only added to the dismal scape in front of her. Gaia felt her heart ache at what she beheld and desperately wanted to change it though she couldn't fathom the words to put her feelings to.

She knelt down and placed her hands upon her world. She knew more from this connection then just seeing had provided. Barren but also more. Hard. Searing Hot yet with a Coldness that was subtle. Bleak. Waiting.

With a suddenness Gaia felt this Waiting envelope her. She closed her eyes and allowed understanding to come to her, which it did but slowly for there was no rush. Eventually Gaia opened her eyes and knew, in part at least, why she had been sent here. For while Chaos had created this, it couldn't do more and more it wanted. Chaos knew what it had created could be so much more but making that happen would take something else, Gaia.

Gaia stood up, she lifted her right foot and placed it back down with force and it sank some into the hard ground. She did the same with her left foot. Then with some difficulty she was able kneel back down to press both her hands into the hard ground. They also sank some and when they did something started to happen. Green started spreading outward, Grass. Blue started flowing outward, Water. While the hard ground remained hard beneath her it changed, lessened in a way.

She didn't know how long she stayed there and it didn't matter to her, she'd stay as long as she had to so that way her world would change. Gaia closed her eyes and let her mind still. She caught glimpses of changes happening all over her world. She saw some places fill up with so much Water that the ground would never again be visible to those above. She saw some place where the ground changed completely, becoming individual grains. She saw some places where the ground stayed hard yet was different, towering up and up.

Gaia wasn't sure how long she actually stayed there and it didn't matter to her. For she saw more of her world grew and flourished for that's what was happening. She was happy that there was so much that was so different in her world.

When she became aware that her world was no longer growing she opened her eyes and fell back in surprise at what she saw. Gaia was no longer on dry ground but was in water.

She righted herself and looked back into the water to see what she knew to be herself for there was no other possibility. She saw herself for the first time since being here and was intrigued by how she herself look. She raised a hand and what she saw in the water did the same. She stood up and herself in the water did that. Gaia paused, her line of thinking didn't seem quite right but she'd ponder that later.

Standing, she looked down to see herself. Something immediately caught her attention and that was 2 mounds on her chest, she didn't recall having these before. Did she develope them while her world was flourishing. Determined to come back to these 2 mounds she explored the rest of her body with her eyes that she could see clearly in the water. Her body had an hardness to it, an earthy hardness that had trees and grasses dotting around with what was some streams of water running on her. The trees, grass, and streams were also on her arms and legs but much lesser.

Content with what she saw she now used her hands to feel her body. Her body felt as hard as it looks. She purposely avoided those 2 mounds on her chest for now. Her arms and legs felt strong. Touching her trees and her grasses produced an interesting feeling. Touching her streams of water also produced an interesting feeling and left her fingers wet which she dried with her grasses.

Lastly she turned her attention to those 2 mounds on her chest. She eyed them with curiosity and with an unsureness, they looked very soft and that was a puzzlement to her for why would she need them. Why would she need such softness. What could they possibly be for. Slowly she raised both of her hands to these mounds, when she touched them they were indeed as soft as they looked. Maybe even softer. The interesting feelings produced by touching her trees, grasses, and streams were nothing compared to the feeling that sprang up inside her now. Contemplating that feeling she moved her hands over her mounds without breaking contact with them while trying to gain an understanding of them. An understanding that didn't come. She continued this for abit and while the feeling grew and intensified it gave her no answers so she stopped.

She turned and started to walk in a direction that'd take her out of the water. As she was walking she looked down to see herself in the water when she noticed something. There is a crevice of some kind between her legs, a long crack. She stopped walking and focused her attention on looking between her legs which since she was no longer walking was difficult. As if responding to her the water shimmered and moved to provide her a clear view. She had to rely on this view as she couldn't see it herself. What she saw was both a crack and a crevice at the same time yet it wasn't. Intrigued she moved her legs to change the view some and to her surprise she saw whatever it was open up briefly. Out of curiosity she took one of her hands and touched this area, it was way softer then it looked. Maybe even softer then her 2 mounds. Touching a hand there caused a feeling, a sensation, that was utterly different then the others before. Continuing she added some pressure and a finger of hers went in slightly. Her whole body was hit with an intense feeling that she couldn't possibly name, as a result she staggered and her finger came out. Gaia managed to stop herself from ending up on her knees. She looked at that hand, at that finger and saw it had water on it. No, upon staring she realized it wasn't exactly water but she wasn't sure what it was. Not giving it much thought she dried that finger on some of her grass on a leg.

Leaving these mysteries as mysteries for now she continued to walk. With each step that intense feeling faded. Once she was out of the water she paused to look at the dense trees that were in front of her. She walked in, wanting to explore her world.
