Armored Up
Commission for osmond on FA
In this semi-sequel to Wizard's Play, Eddie is on his way to a Ren Fair where he's obsessed with being a Knight, but he forgets his helmet. Visiting a Magic Shop he encounters a beautiful helmet that perfectly compliments his armor, little does he expect the side effect it has on the entire Festival when he gets to his destination...
“Armored Up"
It was an impossibly early hour as Eddie woke from a hard-earned slumber the night before, he groaned and turned over in his bed, shifting the blankets off of himself as he grumbled awake and looked at his alarm clock; the edges of sleep still creeping into the corners of his eyes. It just wasn't possible; there was no way he could get to sleep now. It was four in the morning and he had a lot of preparations to make for the day; for the whole weekend, and he knew exactly what he wanted to do.
“Renaissance..." He whispered to himself as he excitedly clambered from his bed and began to seek his glasses in the dark room. He didn't want to wake his mother, and his kid brother, still in high school would have to suffer this Friday knowing that his big recently-graduated brother was going to have the best day of his life. He found his glasses and pulled them on as he began to grab items from his collection, his costume, his princely-looking badge on the greatly detailed-hand-sewn, hand-welded suit of armor he had been spending his graduation year working on perfecting the suit, he even did his graduation walk in his armored greeves, the boots clanging underneath his robes much to the confusion of the teachers and the principal as he accepted his diploma. He'd also turned eighteen three months ago and he was ready to turn the world on its head and make it his own.
“Nnnnnhhhh Eddie?"
The voice alerted Eddie enough and he turned to see his brother rousing. He groaned and rushed over to him. “Hey Vin. It's still early, go back to sleep." He said quietly, getting an odd glance from his brother.
“What's going on?" He moaned, rubbing his eyes before looking at the clock. “Oh come on Ed. It's fucking four in the morning, can't you just..." He huffed and flopped back on his bed. “When are you going to college so I can get this room to myself?"
“You never know..." Eddie replied tauntingly as he wiggled his fingers out over his brother's head. “I might neeeeever leave!" He added a haunting tremble to his voice before giving a laugh.
Vin grunted and draped his arm over his eyes. “God you are such a nerd." He said.
Eddie turned his armor over in his hand for one final inspection. “You act like that's a bad thing."
“You know all this medieval crap you get into? It's ironic because if this were really the dark ages, I don't think you'd be able to last ten minutes without dying."
Eddie smirked as he glanced at his brother. “You know what? You know so much about the medieval crap yourself, so I wouldn't toss a word like “ironic" around. Okay?"
“Whatever loser." Vin grunted as he flopped down again, throwing the blankets over his head as he did so. “Turn off the light."
Eddie loved his brother, but there were times that their sibling rivalry really got the better of him. He was out of the house before Vin or their mother woke up for the day, a large, heavy tote bag in his hand as he flung it into his car and climbed inside. The festival was almost a four hour drive away, and he wanted to be there before the biggest crowds hit around noon.
The roads were almost serene at the hour he started off, but slowly, as the light began to filter through the trees of the surrounding forests along the side of the interstate, traffic began to form, bringing with it slower speeds and rude other drivers. He had an older car, and gas stops were frequent, but he had plenty of funds for the trip. He could fill the tank pretty much as often as he wanted and he was comfortable with these long trips. Having been to conventions, and festivals all over the country, a four hour drive was definitely not--
“Shit..." Eddie said to himself, pushing his glasses up the ride of his small nose as he reached back into the back seat and pulled his tote over him. He unzipped the bag and began to rifle through it. “Ugh! I forgot my helmet! How could I be so stupid!"
Eddie looked at his reflection in the rearview mirror as he spoke to himself. He was nothing without a helmet at the festival; his scrawny, gaunt face, his messy dark, shoulder length hair. Those dark brown eyes. He was a total nerd and he didn't want to look like some sort of scrawny squire when he got there. He was a knight, through and through! He needed something...anything to use as a helmet. There was no time to go back home, he was already over halfway there, and with nine o'clock already creeping up on him he wouldn't be back until at least three in the afternoon. He had to find something...anything...
The next stop was a gas station just outside of a large city; the smell of grease, gas and smog hit him like a wrecking ball this time as he got out of his car and began to pump his fuel. As he stood at the pump, he kept going over in his mind. “Where...am I going to find a medieval helmet?" He said to himself. Then, as if a flickering light was blinking just at the edge of his vision he looked up to see a flyer of a man in a wizard's costume posted just above the pump. “That's weird, that wasn't there before..." He pointed out as he read the sign. “The Corner Crystal; magical herbs, remedies, items. Crystal balls and...costumes?" He realized the last word just as his pump clicked full. “Costumes? Maybe they'll have a knight's helmet I could buy!" He put the pump back up and got into the car.
Sure, it wasn't a costume part he'd made himself. He always prided himself on making his own outfits, but this was an act of desperation. And as he found his way to the Crystal Corner, he immediately felt better about the possibilities. The floors were smooth, and shiny, marble colored like the floor of some sort of ancient castle. The shelves were packed high with random items like books on magic, and decorative incense holders. Even the shop itself smelled of musty books as they lined practically every corner. It wasn't particularly busy, but there were a few people in there perusing the shelves. As he turned a corner he ran face to--stomach with a man who was impossibly huge. He stared down at Eddie with a discerning green pair of eyes over a shocking full red beard. He was dressed in a tuxedo with a nice tie and seemed somehow perfectly at home, despite the fact that his muscles were practically bursting through his outfit.
“Good morning sir! Welcome to the Corner Crystal. I'm Alex!"
“Uh...ni-nice to meet you." Eddie replied looking the man up and down nervously.
Alex stopped Eddie from walking forward but thrusting a hand to the center of his chest, stopping him as he smirked and leaned in to look him in the eye. “Is there somethin' you're looking for?" He asked gruffly.
The man was easily three times as wide and twice the height of the meager, average-looking Eddie, whose throat had gone dry staring him up and down. He closed his eyes and breathed, clearly nervous. “I...ahh... I'm looking for..." He paused, trying to remember, then opened his eyes to notice Alex's green eyes had been brought down to his level as the muscled man was staring deep into his. “COSTUMES!" He shrieked, surprising the man. “I'm looking for costumes..." He laughed nervously. “Sorry. I...I'm headed to the Renaissance festival this weekend and I left my helmet at home..."
Alex looked at him quizzically. “Your...helmet?"
“Yeah! A knight's helmet, I like to be a knight and I think I'd look silly with a knight's armor and no helmet, right?"
Alex smirked in amusement. “So you don't want to look silly in your knight costume?"
“If you don't have one..."
“No, no. I think we might have some, I just wanted to let that sink in for a second." Alex teased, sticking his tongue out at him. “Come on then..."
He stood up and gestured Eddie toward the aisle behind him. As the pair of them started to walk; a slender, older man in a wizard's costume, carrying a massive supply of books and products turned the corner and Eddie ran full on into him, causing both of them to fall and all the items to spill from his hand, coming crashing to the floor in a gigantic mess."
“OH! Blast it! I do wish you people would watch where you're going!" He shouted in anger.
“Archibald! Are you alright?" Alex asked as he helped the man to his feet.
Archie grunted angrily, dusting himself off. “Yes, yes. I'm fine, I'm fine. For crying out loud I--" He looked at Eddie. “And...who are you?"
“I'm Eddie."
“Well Eddie. What do you need?"
“I need a knight's helmet for...ahh...for the Renaissance festival this weekend."
“Ohhh the one up in Brighton. I understand. Fine choice, knights. So brave, so selfless."
“And loyal, and true..." Eddie continued. “I just left mine at home and I just needed to buy one or even rent it for the day."
“Ha. Does this look like a costume rental? You buy it, you keep it." Archie looked at the mess behind him that Alex was working to get together. He sighed and pointed behind him. “Three rows down and an aisle over." He said. “Go take a look and we'll be with you when we get this mess cleaned up, alright?"
Eddie nodded and continued down the hall on his own. His eyes kept on scanning the shelves as he walked. So many items glowing, some of them even seemed to call out his name, making him turn around to answer and not seeing anyone. “Three....down..." He recalled and then began to move across the aisles."One...over?" He turned to see an enormous row of costumes suddenly in front of him; male and female costumes from a variety of eras; from spaceman to 50s styles, to...medieval...there it was. He grew excited as he rushed to the shelves of swords, and axes, armor pieces, maiden dresses, jester crowns and-- “There we go!" He whispered as he spotted several pieces of knight armor near the end of the row.
Eddie's hands dug feverishly into the costumes as he pushed away clearly fake pieces of armor as he scoured through, trying to find what he was looking for. “Helmets...helmets..." He repeated to himself. “Where are the helmets?"
He turned and looked up to see a row of headgear along the top shelves over some of the costumes; crowns, hats, space helmets... as he scanned the row he spotted what he was looking for. “Aha! Knight helmets!" He exclaimed as he looked them over. Sifting through the small collection he evaluated them each. “No...too gold...yuck...too black..." He was also keeping an eye on the prices, ranging from fifty to two hundred dollars, he knew he needed to be careful with his funds or else he wouldn't be able to do anything at the faire.
Finally he reached the perfect looking helmet at the end of the row. Shiny, silver with gold trim and markings that almost perfectly matched the designs on his own costume; this would be perfect! He got excited and looked over the glass case it was in before seeing the sign “NOT FOR SALE" plastered on the box.
“Not for sale? What do you mean “Not for sale"?" He groaned in frustration. “It--it's perfect!" He opened the case and looked around before examining it further. “Why isn't this for sale?" He asked himself before noticing a strange shimmer that washed over the helmet. He paused and looked behind him; nothing behind him. But whatever this helmet was made out of, it was definitely making his fingers tingle. The tingle crawled up his arms and made him shudder as a warm glow passed over his eyes. He had to have this; he needed to have this helmet.
Eddie had never done anything really dishonest before, but before he knew it, he took one of the simpler-designed brass and tan colored helmets and slid it into the case. He closed the door to it and quickly made his way toward the front. If they asked he would simply say that it was a mistake and hand the helmet back. But he needed this, his mind was buzzing with ways to get out if they stopped him. He saw that Alex was alone at the register, checking a girl out who had gotten in line first, as he rushed up, he made sure to thumb the price tag onto the helmet he'd gotten from the other one and handed it to him.
Alex stared at it for a moment, as if confused. But then he rang it up. “Okay ninety-three twenty." He said.
Eddie's hand was unusually steady as he clutched his helmet under one arm and paid the man with the card in his other hand, took the receipt for the sale and he rushed out of the store without incident. He made it to his car and quickly returned to his road trip. As he passed by the Corner Crystal, he could see Archibald and Alex talking, then casually waving at him as he drove by. They hadn't noticed. They hadn't expected anything, and he was in the clear. As he put his foot down and sped away from the town, his apprehension was replaced with an elation. He glanced back into the back seat of the car and saw that shining silver helmet looking back at him, and all he could think of at that moment was... pleasure.
Eddie didn't stop once on the way to Brighton; he wasn't sure if it was the pure adrenaline from swiping the helmet, or just that he was in a hurry to get to the faire, but he was certainly not disappointed when he arrived.
Tall spires jutted up from the tree-surrounded area around the campgrounds, as he pulled into the parking lot that was over a half-mile walk from the grounds he could already smell the succulent meat of turkey legs, lagger and funnel cakes being distributed throughout the attraction. It was a once-a-year event that he was always excited for. He threw his armor bag over his shoulder and almost toppled backwards because of the weight. He'd forgotten that he wasn't as strong as a normal knight was. He always wondered if he could ever be good for anything. He scuttled up the path toward the faire and checked in through the admittance area; being a regular, he knew the particulars of this place, the etiquette he had to follow. He followed the path up, the smell of barley and bacon getting stronger, the smells mixing together to produce a sweet and savory aroma in the air, it was enough to make him breathe in deeply. A knight would never forget where he comes from. As he continued up the rise, he spotted the familiar set of tents with the label “Ye Olde Dressing Room" and made his way toward them. He nodded the attendant and opened his bag, showing them he intended on changing into his costume and he was let in.
The tent was relatively empty; many patrons who decided to dress up probably dressed themselves before showing up, but there were a couple of men chatting with each other; half naked as Eddie entered the room. Eddie smiled politely, but it came across more awkwardly in his mind as he made his way to one of the set up makeshift lockers and began to strip out of his clothes. The two men continued to chat as they changed themselves, as one of them put their own duffel bag down, Eddie couldn't help but notice some shiny metal poking out the top. “Oh, are you guys knights too?" He asked.
One of the men; pulling a pair of trousers on and stepping into a pair of shiny boots scoffed and looked at him. “Yeah." He said with a condescending voice. “And what're you supposed to be? The court jester?" Both men laughed.
The two of them were well built, and much taller than Eddie, who turned away. His face warm with frustration and embarrassment as he pulled the helmet out of his bag and placed it on the bench, he'd stripped down to his underwear already and was digging through his bag for the other pieces of his costume when one of them grabbed the waistband and pulled it taut, making Eddie grunt in pain as he was almost pulled off the floor by the force of the tug.
“Heyyy! Look at that Jim! Little knight with a little sword wanting to play with the big men!" He guffawed obnoxiously.
“Let me go!" Eddie objected and kicked the man square in the chest.
The man immediately dropped him and growled in frustration. “You little prick I'm gonna--"
“Hey! What's with all the commotion in there?" The attendant outside called inside.
The man outside was larger in size, and both the men froze in worry. “Nothing. Just giving our newbie a few pointers."
“Newbie..." Eddie said to himself. Did he really give off the vibe of not coming to this festival for the last ten years? He scowled at the man and as he tried to get up, he shoved his foot down, pinning Eddie to the floor as he looked through his satchel.
“Wow. You really are a loser aren't you? Did you make these costumes?"
“Didn't you?" Eddie asked, looking at the other guy named Jim who was putting on his armored gloves. The both of them had pretty much matching helmets and he was putting his on over his long, black hair.
“Come on Curtis, leave him alone he's not worth it." He said defensively, but not making much effort to stopping him.
“Bahh..." Jim grunted as he took his foot off and let Eddie up. “You're right."
As the two men went back to getting themselves dressed, Eddie returned to his armor. He looked at the helmet seated beside his duffel bag, his frustration still evident by the burn on his cheeks. “I'll show them...I'll be the best knight ever."
He grunted as a hand behind him shoved him, almost sending him toppling over the bench as Curtis laughed again. “And no we ain't no queer loser like you." He snapped. “Our costumes are store bought, like we'd have time to do shit like that. We're just a couple dudes who are looking to score with some fair maidens."
“Yeah. Too bad we haven't seen any." Jim admitted standing up.
The two men were dressed pretty similarly, they were pretty well built even though Curtis had a little bit of a pooch belly, looking more like a hairy dad bod than a sleek and muscular knight. Jim had a better build, but not as cut as a knight. They were just a couple guys playing dress up for the weekend. They put their helmets on, their faces practically disappearing into the blackness under the cheap metal-molded plastic. They both had billowing white capes attached to harnesses strapped over their bare chests, and their pants were little more than gray-washed jeans with metal plates strapped around them. Not bad for homemade slap together, but definitely not impressive. Especially with the fact they were wearing sandals on their feet, it made him question their dedication to the bit.
As Eddie continued finished putting his armor on, he put his gauntlets and greaves on before putting on the helmet. “You two don't know what it means to be real knights..." He said. “I bet you wouldn't be so homophobic--" He looked at the two. “It's not... very...knightly behavior. You should enjoy each other, and... and see how it feels..." The words of that sentence seemed to fall from Eddie's mind; as if he had no control over what he was saying, even as hard as he tried to keep it in, he couldn't help but see a haze wash over the two of them.
There was a sudden wave of dizziness that washed over Eddie and for a brief second it looked like his eyes were flashing a white, then gold color. It was enough to make him drop to a knee, but he immediately recovered and put his hands on his head. Looking at Jim and Curtis under those helmets, it must have been a weird lighting, but he could swear the helmets looked shinier...more real than thirty seconds ago. It was as if the two had frozen in place. It was a joke, it had to be--he thought as he shrugged and then made his way toward the exit of the tent. He looked back again once more then exited.
A flash of light seemed to flicker throughout the room as Curtis and Jim suddenly flung their bodies into one another. A loud thud sounding as their armored outfits collided with gruff, loud grunts, their arms locking around each other although Jim's more massive arms wrapped around Curtis' waist as Curtis grabbed the other man by the shoulders, pulling them together hard as they began to kiss through their helmets. It was an uncontrollable, overwhelming desire as they did so. They couldn't help themselves, they were insatiable and as they kissed, Curtis could feel Jim growing in size, the man's pecs growing under his fingers as he squeezed them, much to his surprise as the pillowy mass of muscle grew to fill his palms as the man lifted him up and slammed him against the lockers.
“F-fuck! Jim what the f-fuck are we doing?" Curtis panted loudly, but couldn't stop as he felt his own body growing, his jeans ripping at the seams his own thick cock worming out of the fabric like some sort of a growing snake. He'd never been so turned on before.
Jim grunted as he felt their helmets clang together; the knock sort of hurt as the sudden metal tightening around his head had begun feeling more and more real, but he continued to make out with the man hoisted up by his arms, pinned against the lockers as their bodies slammed closer. Curtis' body seemed heavier all of a sudden, but his own body felt like it was growing too and he could more easily hold him. His hands felt strange, they were felt like they were growing under Curtis' butt, enveloping more of that thick flesh being torn from his jeans. “I d-don't know Curt...but fuck... I c-can't help it!"
Throwing Curtis back down on the seating bench, Jim's hips slapped against the man's bare waist, his cock sliding up the crevice between Curtis' thigh and cock as it lurched around in its thick arousal. Their bodies pulling close as they continued to kiss; the thick arms tight around them, their muscles growing wildly as he began to grind against him.
“Wh-what are you doing?" Curtis asked nervously as Jim grabbed his legs and pulled them up to his shoulders, draping them over his newly muscular frame pushing his cock against his waiting hole. He wanted to tell Jim to stop, but something overwhelmed him, he moaned and felt his cock begin to leak precum along his slimming stomach. “Ahh!" He huffed and grabbed Jim's waist, barely finding it over the sudden increase in his body size. He could barely see over his expanded chest, his massive body and his throbbing erection. “F-fuck me already!"

Archibald was reading a book when he felt something strange; it started off as a headache, but then it began to quiver into something else. As he put his fingers to his temple to concentrate, the words just seemed to blur for him. He rose from his chair and stepped down from it, suddenly apparating on a completely different level of the store than he had been previously. “Some tea will help..." He thought as he turned the corner to enter a quaint, black-and-white tiled kitchen. He opened a cabinet and extracted a small cup as he began to fill a pot with hot water. As the sound of the water in the metal container began to ring in his ears, visions of knights and armor began to invade his senses. He put a hand over his face and exhaled sharply; something...something was wrong, but he couldn't put his finger on it. The memories of earlier when that young man had expressed interest in armor and being a knight came to mind.
“Alex?" He said aloud, and suddenly the massive man appeared in the doorway of the kitchen.
“You called boss?" He asked in a deep, gruff tone.
“That kid from this morning...did he end up buying a helmet?"
“Oh that Eddie guy? Yeah, I sold him a helmet for like ninety-six bucks or something like that." He scratched his head. “Why?"
“What did the helmet look like?" He asked.
“Oh uhm... let's see...nice silver number, gold accents. I was actually surprised it was under a hundred bucks."
“Yeah...so am I." Archie said. “Silver and gold? That's ridiculously cheap."
“Here's the price tag that came with it." He said as he pulled the tag from his pocket and handed it to him.
“Strange." Archie's words faded as he looked it over. “This price tag is for an onyx-black helmet...a jester's hat with bells...you're sure this was the one?"
“Yeah. Ninety one bucks plus tax. That's it."
With a snap of his fingers, Archibald caused the world around him and Alex to suddenly bend, flex and distort as they suddenly found themselves standing in the aisle of costumes. Immediately, Archie moved to the end of the row and pulled the cloak off the box on the top shelf, only to find a cheap crown sitting inside. He gasped and took a step back. “Oh no, no no...he grabbed the Helmet of Resolution. That is a highly dangerous magical item!"
“What's the deal with it? It's just a helmet."
“Just a helmet? It's got very dangerous properties, the wearer has the power to bend the fabric of reality around him, his sub thoughts can manifest in the strangest ways. It can warp the perceptions of the people and environments around him. In the wrong hands it could bring so much chaos to the world that the world of magic...the world that I am meant to keep hidden...could be forever exposed to the mortal world!"
“Why keep it in a box in the store then?"
“It's a beautiful helmet, very highly decorative! WHY was this box unlocked?"
Alex shrugged in confusion."
“What did that young man say? He was going to the Renaissance Faire in Brighton this weekend, right? Oh, that kind of environment can be even more dangerous. Come Alex. We must go find it, take it back and try to reverse any magical damage done by that damned helmet!"
“So what...are you just going to teleport us there?"
Archibald gawked at Alex for a moment. “Are you insane? Did you not hear what I said about keeping magic secret? Come on! Let's get to the car!"

The day had crept into the afternoon without much incident. There were a few clouds overhead, but Eddie didn't mind as he explored the grounds. He even got himself a hot dog to eat as he walked. Interestingly served on a kebab with a variety of vegetables. He spotted a guy dressed like a dragon near a tent labeled “Hither to Yon Maze" and rolled his eyes over how hokey some of the attractions were. But it did look like there was an impressive hedge maze built behind him. It was Friday afternoon, the faire had just opened for the weekend and the crowds were light. Mostly adult men, most of the women had availed themselves to the nearby tavern tent while the men hung out outside. He always found this peculiar because it was more often the other way around. It was only the start of the weekend and he expected Saturday would come with an enormous flood of crowds, so it was good for him to take in the sights beforehand. This was only the first day of the weekend of activities, but he couldn't help himself stopping at a corral that was set up like a jousting ring. As he leaned on the fencing and peered through the crowds, he watched as combatants within saddled on horses charged at stationary targets, knocking them down with a simple swing of massive lances they carried. He began to cheer at the same energy as other patrons around him, most of whom already dressed in armor like knights themselves. He felt at home being among other knight costumers, and as he looked around, he noticed that they too were in varying states of costumes, from cheaply bought, to intricately home made. Eddie was getting a little warm under his helmet and had moved to take his off when a hand suddenly clapped down on his shoulder from behind:
“YOU there! Young man!" A bald, fat man standing behind him dressed like a captain of the guard or something peered down at him with piercing blue colored eyes, a thick dark red handle mustache and full, heavy beard. “I see you're pretty invested in the life of a humble knight. Art thou?"
His voice was deep but rousing and kind, Eddie felt embarrassed at being called out by such a corny sales pitch, but he evidently nodded under his helmet. “Y-yeah I guess I am!"
“Great! And how would thou like a chance to be a real knight and participate in a REAL jousting match?"
“Who me?"
The man nodded, the smile never leaving his face as his hand tightened on Eddie's shoulder. “A strapping young man like you would be perfect to showcase that anyone can take on other competitors! The winner gets a hundred dollar voucher good for any of our establishments!"
Eddie pondered on this for a minute, the food was pretty expensive and he wanted to be able to grab some jewelry and souvenirs today too. He nodded and gave a weak smile under his helmet “A-alright! I'll do it!" He said determinedly.
“Great! Come with me!"
Eddie was escorted past the fencing and through the gate before being led across to the backstage area behind the jousting field where half a dozen knights were gathered just out of the crowd's line of sight. They were all taller than him, and in various shapes. Some of them were chubbier, others had lean builds. Not many of them looked very “knightly" in appearance, which disappointed Eddie somewhat. But at least he wasn't the only one who didn't really fit the description of an “honorable warrior knight" but he was happy to participate.
A muffled announcement went out and the crowds surrounding the field let out a wild cheer. But Eddie couldn't quite hear what he was saying until they were led out from behind the stage into the now-horseless field. The crowds grew louder and began to cheer harder as Eddie was handed a jousting lance. He was sweating under his helmet, and as he moved his hand up to adjust his glasses underneath only to realize they were no longer there. “What the?" He asked to himself.
“Alright contenders! Time to prove your mettle! Charge at your opponents to knock them down! Make sure to aim for the shields they're carrying and run into them. The last man standing is the winner!"
As Eddie was listening he realized he was sweating pretty hard under his helmet, his glasses were gone, maybe they had slipped down into his armor. He went to take his helmet off and realized that it wouldn't budge. “Ouch!" He exclaimed to himself as he felt the helmet tug on the top of his head. His heart began to pound, there was no way his head swelled so badly that it was actually stuck on. “Oh what the hell?" He said as he grunted and pulled again, this time giving it a little twist and getting a sudden shock of pain in his neck. “OW! What is going on?" He reached down to take his glove off, only to look down and realize that his glove looked even longer than it had before and his arm looked somehow bigger in size. As he tried to pull on the glove, he realized that it too was stuck. “Uhm hey--YAHHH!"
Eddie didn't have a chance to react as a lance collided with him, but surprisingly he didn't fall to the ground. The lance didn't hit his shield directly, it had slid off to the side and stabbed into his arm, but he didn't feel it. He only heard something bang like metal on metal. He was confused for a minute before looking at the large man who had run into him. He dropped the lance and it fell to the ground. “How the hell?" He asked as he looked in confusion at his arm. “Hey! What's the big idea?" He said as he confronted Eddie. “You're supposed to fall down!"
“You..." Eddie started and looked at the man. “You're no knight..." He said, his mind feeling strange and foggy as the odd thoughts echoed in his mind. He could feel the helmet vibrating against his scalp as the man stared at him. “But you can be..."
“Man, what the fuck is wrong with you?" He said as he then shoved Eddie, knocking him backwards. Eddie tripped and fell backwards, landing hard on the ground.
A flash of golden light exploded from the gem on the front of the helmet. The explosion shot out like a bubble, instantly encompassing himself, then the shockwave moved outward, hitting the man, hitting the other contestants and even the man who organized the contest. Even though Eddie had lost sight of the flash, he knew that somehow it had hit everyone at the faire. “None of you are real knights...but whatever you are...it's time to let them out..."
Eddie's voice sounded alien to him as he writhed on the ground, he let out a bellowing cry and with that, another flash of light enveloped him. He could feel his body growing all of a sudden, growing more muscular, growing tighter under his outfit as it expanded. His gloves, his greaves, his armor all began to stretch and to harden as the armor began to feel more alive. He could feel the air through them, he watched as his chest burst from his tunic and as the metal from his outfit began to expand across his body. He roared loudly and put his hands over his face and he could feel his touch as if he were touching his bare skin.
The other men around him had dropped their weapons and they too had begun to grow, their outfits in various stages of destruction; some were missing their chest pieces, exposing their massive pectoral muscles as they grew. Others having lost their trousers trying in vain to cover themselves as their heavy balls and massive cocks flopped around. Their armor was growing on them too, leaving them in panic.
“What's going on here?!" The bearded man from before approached aggressively, his body still shimmering from the golden light that had swept across them. He too had put on a helmet with a long flourishing blue tail that trailed behind his head as he walked, the grated mask barely covering his eyes but leaving most of his face covered; his bristly handlebar mustache the only things really sticking out of his face and as the glow concentrated around him, the filter on his mask faded, leaving little more than an armored face that happened to have a beard on it.
He grabbed the man who had pushed Eddie down, their bodies clanged together as the armored skin of both men slammed into one another. “What are yo--"
Eddie was shocked as the bearded man suddenly kissed the other one. Their faces seemed very fluid compared to how their bodies looked and he watched as the bearded man grabbed the other one's nipple as if finding it through all this magical metal. He watched as their cocks slipped into plain view from under their armor as the man with the beard turned the other one around and pinned him up against a pillar. His body looked slimmer in this angle as if the armor was pressing against him, pushing down, making him appear a little bit slimmer, but his chest looked higher and heavier like some girdle had been tightened around his waist. It was intriguing to look at and as the bearded man asserted himself by pinning the other man he grabbed his cock and began to press it against the second knight.
The second knight didn't object, he simply let out a howl of lust and began to grind his ass back into his aggressor. Moaning and driving himself back as his cock began to leak from under him. As Eddie got to his feet, he watched as the two of them began to fuck harder, they weren't paying attention to him anymore. This was just too strange. He stared for a minute before realizing he too was getting hard. He needed to get out of there. Whatever this was... it couldn't be his fault, could it?
Eddie made his way past the other guests, who were already in the middle of fucking each other's brains out. Their bodies having taken on metal like qualities, glimmering, shining under the afternoon sunlight. He watched as one of them seated himself on the cock of another one; his body still transforming, Eddie watched as the dark metal slowly crossed his torso, sealing it in like some sort of creeping container that layered over his skin. The his frame growing in sudden spurts as he drove himself down, pleasuring himself at the same time as the man under him, fully transformed into a metal but his body was still bulging, he watched as the muscles popped from his arms and formed newer, bigger biceps. The size of his pectorals ballooned and the other man took advantage by grabbing them as a counter weight to slam his ass down on him even harder. He continued past them, but felt dizzy all of a sudden, the further he moved away until he found himself dizzyingly in the center of the fairgrounds.
It was no different here; several patrons had succumbed and were in the middle of their own “celebrations" as Eddie walked by. These changes were more gradual; he noted as he walked past a knight with his helmet on, but his gauntlets slowly creeping up the length of his arm. He too had become massively muscular and his cock had ripped out of his pants and he was simply walking around with it hanging out, looking very confused as he wandered along the grounds.
Eddie could hear the loud sounds of roaring and moaning as he turned the next corner, and was taken aback by what he saw: Three knights, all half changed were taking advantage of the dragon costumer; only...he wasn't a costumer now. His outfit had been blended into his skin, it had grown scaly and rough and purple in color. As he was laying on his side he had one leg up on a knight's shoulder as he fucked him, and his mouth craning and dipping between two others in front of him. This was the most interesting moment of “dragon slaying" he thought he would ever see. Eddie cringed and held his hands over his face; where were these thoughts coming from? Why was he--he pulled his hands away from his face, he hadn't realized that he too was changing.
Somehow his height had shot up at least a foot and his body was much more muscular; he could see the definition through the metal skin covering his chest. The skin was the same color as his helmet, brilliantly silver with gold trim layered throughout. Even his nipples were still visible even though they were golden in color. He reached down to cover himself in surprise and embarrassment and he'd noticed that his cock had not changed in size, and it was relatively smaller compared to the rest of him. He didn't care though, he was still hard as a rock, he could sense and smell the sex of the world around him and found it invigorating. But why-- “NNHHHH!" He grunted and doubled over, Eddie dropped to the ground with a loud clang as his voice echoed through the helmet.
It was getting harder this time, he couldn't concentrate any more as his body began to quake and vibrate under the heavy skin now covering his body. He looked at his arms, which were already beginning to bulk out. He huffed and watched as his stomach pushed back against him, leaving him relatively lean as he stood on his knees. He growled out the aching shooting through his body, this transformation felt more like a cramp than actual pain. A tingle that radiated from his muscles to his helmet, then a second wave that sent a cooling wash across his skin. Every muscle was on fire and it showed, he tried to find the edge of his helmet, then his gloves as he panicked and tried to pull them off, only to look down and see that his arms and neck had no separation from his actual skin. As he exhaled sharply he noticed two familiar faces from earlier: Curtis and Jim were approaching him. Their bodies massive and changed as well, but not completely as their large, muscular torsos were exposed and flesh still and their bodies aside from a kilted piece of armor strapped around Curtis' waist were completely exposed. Curtis had a blue steel helmet complete with bull-like horns on the top of it and a muzzle-type formation over his mouth. Eddie could see the man's lips and teeth through the helmet but there didn't seem to be much of an easy way in. Their gauntlets and boots were both very similar, except in the color of the metal. Jim's armor was a gold or a tarnished gold color, the helmet much like Eddie's with the central opening for the eyes, nose and mouth. Their eyes were somehow crystal clear and visible even in the blackness of their helmets as they looked down at Eddie, both looked amused.
“Well well. Look who it is." Jim chortled, crossing his massive arms and looking at Curtis. “Help him up, will you?"
“Yes boss." Curtis nodded and hoisted Eddie back to his feet.
“I don't know what you did..." Jim said deeply as he approached Eddie, a smirk under that helmet of his. “But I've never felt more alive!"
“Me neither, this is amazing!" Curtis replied. “And to show you our gratitude, we got a little surprise for you.
Without so much as a warning, Curtis dropped to his knees, then to all fours in front of Eddie, spreading the cheeks of his ass, which were already becoming more sheen by the moment as the armored skin began to spread across his body. Eddie stared at him for a good minute, feeling pleasure pound within his mind as he watched Curtis spread his taint and expose his hole for him. “Come on, do it!" He demanding.
“Calm down, he'll get to it in a minute." Jim replied putting his arm around Eddie and pulling him close. “A little thank you from the two of us, I suggested we both just give him a hard fuck, what do you say?"
Eddie's face was burning in embarrassment, his erection speaking volumes as the two of them crouched down over the exposed ass. Eddie's tongue dragged along the other man's taint and he felt his cock pulse in response to it. He reached up under Curtis and began to stroke his smooth, thick shaft as he did so. Curtis' ass tasted almost metallic to him, but it had the sweet hint of musk that slid into his sinuses as he did so. Curtis let out a moan, his ass clenching and quivering around Eddie's tongue as he began to probe deeper. Jim joined him, his tongue pushing in with Eddie's own and pressing apart the warm muscle. For several moments this intimate three-way continued uninterrupted until Eddie finally relented and laid flat on the ground, his fingers dragged along his flesh as he pulled the former bully on top of him, and with a lustful grin, Curtis obliged. He spread himself out and straddled Eddie, his ass going down until it captured the knight's cock. Curtis let out a moan as he pressed the muscles of his hole around Eddie's shaft and dropped down until their bodies collided again. He then rested up on his hands and began to slowly pump himself along Eddie's shaft. Eddie's toes clenched as Curtis rode him, faster and faster.
Soon, Jim took hold of Curtis' hip and crouched down with him. Eddie could feel the second man's cock sliding against his own shaft and together they both managed to penetrate the third.
All three grunted and gasped as Eddie and Jim took control of Curtis, driving his hips up and down slowly, then faster. Then slower again as he accommodated both of their cocks. Jim and Curtis kissed, their tongues tangling as they both continued their motions. The unexpected tightness and clenching of Curtis' ass driving Eddie closer and closer to the edge. Precum was pouring from Curtis' cock, then finally a full on drain of cum began to flow as he grew closer and closer to his orgasm.
Suddenly, there was a flash; a blinding, white and purple flash that screamed through Eddie's mind and as he watched, Curtis and Jim both fell unconscious and slid off Eddie's still hard and throbbing dick.
“Guys?!" Eddie asked aloud. “I couldn't have been that bad..." He added in a whisper before noticing the reason for the flash as Archibald and Alex had both arrived at the faire and were hitting everyone in sight with some sort of a beam from a crystal Archie was carrying.
Alex came over to Eddie and extended a hand, allowing him to stand up again. “Oh good, you're still alive." He said gruffly. “What the hell were you thinking?"
“What was I thinking? What is all this?!" Eddie exclaimed in shock.
Archie approached and gave Eddie a firm smack on his helmeted head. “You dolt! You shouldn't steal things!"
“But I didn't! I bought it!"
“That's rich, buying something not for sale! Now we've got to clean up this magical mess that you've caused! Give me that helmet back!"
“No!" Eddie shouted, as a flash of golden light emanated from him and nearly knocked Archibald off his feet. “This is mine. I bought it, I own it. I even got the receipt!"
“Yes but--" Archie started, then his voice stammered off. “Oh for crying out loud!" He glared at Alex. “You gave him the receipt?!"
“Uh... yeah? Why?"
“Because so long as he's been sold an item from my shop, he is entitled to its possession no matter how dangerous it might be!" He glared at Eddie. “You sir, have gotten off with a technicality. And we will discuss this when we return to my shop. Knowledge of magic should never, ever get out into the real world, Eddie. And now if you're determined to keep that damned helmet...after we clean up this mess, I guess you'll have to be my mess from now on." He sighed and furrowed the ridge of his nose. “Come on then, let's reverse the spell on all these people..." He waved his hand at Alex and Eddie now. “I swear, I'm going to have a collection of young people by the time I'm dead..."
THE END?
