Princess the Cat's Info (RE Village)
Here's Princess the Cat aka Oriana Shaw's character info for my Resident Evil Village furry AU!
At the same time Amai Muffin was kidnapped from Raccoon City University, a student named Oriana Shaw, who prefers everyone calls her Princess since that's her preferred nickname, was also kidnapped by Umbrella Corporation when she was walking to a nearby park after school, hoping to be able to find some friends from the university to hang out with there. Unfortunately for Princess, she definitely wasn't going to the park and would instead be transported to the same secret Umbrella facility as Amai.
There, she fell victim to the F-Virus as well and transformed into an orange cat who had a very special and unique pattern, which was pink with white polka dots that were present on her nose, paw pads, tail tip, inner parts of the ears, and tongue. She also had orange teeth! She was quite grumpy and hissy, and tried to claw and lash out at the Umbrella lab workers to not much success since they wore protective face covering and clothing, so Princess's claws couldn't do much damage to them at all. To everyone's great surprise though, Princess was a bit of a fighter and was able to take out some of the smaller creatures and animals that she was put up against in battles. However, when it came to the bigger monsters, she tried clawing and lashing out but didn't dare get close enough and just ended up hissing and cowering down somewhere at a distance from the opponent while growling and raising the fur on her tail, back and neck. So again, Princess was also deemed as too weak and thus, a failure and was transported off to Mother Miranda who had a special agreement with Aoi the Dutch Angel Dragon's father and that she'd receive every failed F-Virus subject for herself for cadou experimentation.
When Princess got the cadou, she gained a very special and unique ability where all her polka dot patterned areas turned into secret "scanners" that allowed her to take on other animals' and creatures' looks and patterns! Neither Princess or Miranda knew about this power so Miranda thought there was absolutely nothing special about this orange cat and handed her off to Alcina Dimitrescu where she became a maid at Castle Dimitrescu. Oriana aka Princess got her nickname because well...She loved acting like a princess who was spoiled quite a bit by her father! She doesn't have a mother anymore and shortly after her passing, Oriana started to act like an entitled princess and was quite easily irritated or upset. Perhaps her "princess behavior" is a way of coping with the loss of her mother who she did love dearly. Her father keeps spoiling his daughter since her behavior has never caused actual harm and understands that the passing of his wife had a huge impact on both him and Oriana, and he thought spoiling her would perhaps make things a little easier for her. When she became a maid for Castle Dimitrescu, she tried acting like a princess towards Alcina's daughters as well and pretended not to be afraid of them. This backfired, of course, and Cassandra was about to chop her up into pieces with her sickle before Bela intervened and stopped her, giving Princess a less harsh punishment and locking her up in the castle's dungeon for a day so she would hopefully reconsider the way she behaves and acts around here. When she was released from her cell, she stopped acting like an entitled kitty cat and obeyed Alcina and her daughters and took good care of the castle. She was very scared of them and at this point, she's given up hope of ever seeing her father, university, old friends and home again. Though as time went by, she started easing up more around the Dimitrescus and took on a more pleasant personality. Princess especially seemed to bond with Cassandra, who previously wanted to attack this orange kitty. She also met Amai shortly after arriving at the castle and it was during this time that Princess discovered her unique scanning ability! When Princess tried to playfully pounce on Amai with all four paws to surprise tackle her, she discovered that she could take on Amai's colors and looks, thanks to her pink with white polka dot patterned areas! However, there will always be a downside to this ability because when she tries to clone someone with her "polka dot" scanners, she won't be an exact 100% copy of them and will have slightly different looks than the original, such as Princess's orange mohawk remaining. This makes it quite easy to spot her as an imposter so Princess really only uses this ability for fun and when she's in a playful and mischievous mood. She's also tried taking on Cassandra's looks whenever she's in her Drekkubus form, which Cass doesn't really seem to mind after the two bonded, and they've even chased each other around playfully while enjoying a fun game of tag!
As more time went by, Princess enjoyed living at Castle Dimitrescu and ended up getting along well with everyone at the castle. She became a much more pleasant princess, and is someone who truly deserves that name at this point as she can be quite friendly, sweet, and loyal now! No more of that entitled behavior, but with that said...Princess can still be quite playful and mischievous so whenever she's in such a mood, you better watch your back and hope you don't get pounced by surprise! It also seems Princess got a new feature from the cadou after quite some time has passed! She can now change her teeth color depending on her mood. Her regular friendly mood means her teeth are her standard orange. However, when she's in a sneaky or mischievous mood, her teeth will change to white! If an F-Virus patient such as Princess herself gets the cadou, the patient may develop additional features or powers after quite some time has passed thanks to their cadou!
Princess also discovered that she really likes bubble tea after Amai offered her one as a welcoming gift!
