Chapter 97 - A Date With Temptation

"You know girls... I've tried thinking of lots of things to do for you, things that can help you, but when it comes to you getting along and bonding, I guess it's my fault in a way things between you are as tense as they are. I tell you to get along, to like each other and all, but I really haven't been doing much to actually help make that happen. I've done lots of things to bond with you all, but not so much things to actually make you look better in one another's eyes the way you do in my own." Chris point out, looking at all the colors in the sky as they looked at him curiously. "I think I'll start trying to think of ways to help you girls become more of a family, especially as far as you two go, Serenity, Alicia." he added, looking at both causing them to glance away. "Don't worry, I give you my word I'll think of ways that won't involve doing things to make you uncomfortable or irritated with one another. In fact, I bet you I could think of ways you would even find fun!" he assured, both raising an eyebrow at him. "That's what we are, you know. A family. It doesn't do any of us any good if you like me but detest one another deep down. Getting closer to me shouldn't be your only priority. Granted you stick up for one another, but only when absolutely necessary. I'd like for all of you to be able to go anywhere, to do anything, and not have to feel like you're putting up with one another because you have to." he nodded. "I want you girls to see the same things in one another that I see, to recognize one another the way I do. You each have so much about you worth respecting, and I want to help you girls realize that too. I won't force it though, but I do intend to coax you along a better path than the one you've been pushing along so far with one another." he smirked, Serenity and Alicia looking at one another with a scowl.

Turning around, he rubbed Serenity on the head with a chuckle and reached up to Alicia's head to do the same before squatting down in front of Rose. "I owe you for that realization you know, just as much as I owe this whole experience for seeing it." he nodded before putting a hand on her head. "I want all of you to share the same feeling of peace you share with Rose here and vice verse... You show her the things I'd like for you two to share between yourselves." he point out, looking back at Serenity and Alicia. "I get you girls are different from one another, there's a lot you have issues with between the two of you, but I assure you there's a lot in the both of you worth appreciating, worth noticing. You just have to start looking beneath the surface. I just need to do a better job of making that happen." he smiled, both girls glancing at one another as he faced Rose. "Anyway, we have some time to make up for, don't we? I told you I'd get to work on setting something up for you girls, and here I am just going on about peace and love after all the hard work you've done." he laughed before standing and apologizing, the girls waving it off in response. "I've got some people to talk to and a places to go before we can do anything though, so why don't the three of you head back to the room for now until I come for you? I promise not to make you wait for me any longer than necessary, and I'll do my best to make it worth the wait." he assured, the girls looking at one another before nodding in response. "With everything settling down and the power back, they should be planning things to keep passengers preoccupied until aid arrives and we can be on our way. I'll see what's in the works and plan something around whatever they're doing for everyone." he went on with a thumbs up.

"After everything that's happened, believe you me I know now isn't the right time to push the peace agenda between you. You're close enough to snapping as it is pretty much. I give you my word I'll hold off on whatever plans I have in mind until this trip is over with. You girls deserve some time to find peace and to relax in your own ways, and I'll do my best to put something together for each of you." he assured. "I'll see all of you soon, so go on back to the room until I've got everything set." he finished, giving the girls each a hug before raising a hand to wave them off. Looking at one another, they nodded once again before returning his wave and heading back along the path they came from, looking back as Chris took out his Pokedex and brought up a hologram of Rostron, starting a conversation with him while walking in an opposite direction. "Always a busybody..." Alicia muttered. "First he do best to escape Gyarados, then he do everything under ocean, then he fight Gyarados, then he help Pokemon and humans on ship, he bring power back on... Not know how he still going." Serenity nodded. "Perseverance!" Rose point out with a smile. "He just wants everyone to be happy and to relax, that's how he always is. He just happens to have a lot more on his plate right now than normal." she added with a nervous laugh. "I admit though, he should be exhausted. I can't tell if he's hiding it or not though. If he is, he's really good at it." she added, looking back warily. "He always does that, puts himself in the back of his mind, always pushing forward." Alicia nodded. "That's one reason even one of my kind can find reason enough... To..." she added, her words fading as she glanced away embarrassed while Serenity scowled at her.

"I not like how he not take break, but at least now reason he work is for us and not humans." Serenity point out. "So... Him being busy for our sake is okay, but not for others?" Rose asked with a nervous smile. "That not okay either! He need rest! I just say it better he do things for us and not strangers who have enough done already!" Serenity argued, crossing her arms with a scowl. "We already save humans, they not need more... Not worth more, not even know them." she muttered in irritation. "What about Sally and her grandma? That Rostron guy?" Rose asked, Serenity twitching an eye. "They okay!! Stop pushing buttons!!" Serenity snapped, Rose grinning teasingly causing Serenity to jolt back and face away with a sigh. "You something, that all can say." Serenity added before looking back at Rose and giving her a soft push. "You not do that." Serenity lectured as Rose laughed. "I'm sorry. But you know, you've gotta admit not ALL humans are bad, not even to you. There's some out there even you like a little, not just Chris, remember Gerald?" Rose asked causing Serenity to face down. "Hate humans, but one or two okay... Still not make humans worth caring about." Serenity replied, maintaining her stance on the subject. "Humans like Gerald very lucky. They special circ... Circust... Circants..." Serenity struggled. "Special circumstances?" Rose asked, Serenity glancing at her before nodding and slumping. "That word, thank you." Serenity replied while the rabbit pat her on the back. "Despite our differences and quarrels, I must admit I agree with Serenity on the humans subject. They're devious, treacherous worms by and large, with very few worth your time and attention within the batch." Alicia point out causing Serenity to look up at her curiously.

"Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't go about showing my discontent for them in the manner you do, getting physical with others out of personal spite is ludicrous, nor' would I go rambling on about them as you do. But what I've seen in my own travels in the past has shown me many sides of their kind. Good humans are very few and far in between, with many nothing more than weaklings who desire our kind because by and large we Pokemon are superior to them. Yes they've their civilizations and such, their own various evolution's, but it has done them little good when by and large their natures, their behaviors among themselves, are so lackluster. We're superior to humans in more ways than just our strength and abilities." Alicia point out. "Our kind evolve and gather in our own ways, form our own civilizations and the like, and while not advanced, they are far more impressive than those humans create because of how we are one with one another and the world combined. Humans climb on top of one another to build, destroy the land where they've tread... It's a curious thing really. We build communities and homes all over the world, yet when humans do it there's so much misery and destruction in the process. The larger we get, the greater we thrive, but for humans, it's the opposite. The greater their numbers, the larger their civilizations, the more suffering they put themselves through... Humans are as pitiable as they can be detestable." Alicia explained, Serenity crossing her arms with a smirk and nodding. "Know what? I think Chris right. Look deep down, can find something to like about snake." she point out, Alicia raising an eyebrow and nodding. "Yes, well, keep in mind my viewpoint might be a tad biased I admit. You and I have endured similar treatment by humans as well to top off the subject, and correct me if I'm mistaken, but we've another in our midst that likely thinks and feels the same." Alicia added, both girls looking at Rose causing her to jolt back and smile nervously.

"W-Well, our kind aren't perfect either. Most of us don't cause anywhere near the amount of damage humans cause to the world, but there are certain types of us out there that can, and sometimes do." Rose point out. "Think about it, don't you know about the Pokemon in the world humans call legendary? They've got some pretty bad stories behind them." she added. "I admit, there have been instances our kind have been just as bad. I remember some time ago there was an incident revolving the seasonal guardians, Zapdos, Moltres and Articuno which nearly wiped out the entire planet. The weather went haywire everywhere you looked, but then again that wasn't their fault entirely, some human invaded their homes and tried enslaving them, or something to that affect. So that's more a point in the bucket for humans than ourselves since a human caused the trouble in the first place." Alicia point out. "Who they?" Serenity asked as they reached the Grand Staircase entrance and went inside the ship. "The seasonal guardians? They live on several islands but tend to travel at will elsewhere. They have extraordinary powers, Zapdos revolving electricity, Moltres revolving fire, and Articuno revolving..." Alicia paused while shuddering. "Ice." she groaned with her tongue out, both Serenity and Rose blinking at her intrigued. "What? What's with the looks?" she asked. "N-Nothing, it's just, well, you're smart." Rose point out in surprise. "I've heard of them, but I didn't know that much." she added. "Sound cool, like to meet one day." Serenity nodded. "Good luck with that, their homes are far, far away from this place, and again, you can't be sure they would be around once you arrived where they live, not to mention they're very territorial. I doubt they're the type to accept visitors." the snake explained while they went through the lobby and down the corridor.

Eventually, after the girls arrived back in Chris's room and settled down, he finally came to the room himself, walking in and letting out a sigh as Serenity and Rose looked back at him from the couch, Alicia raising her head from where she lay coiled on the bed. "Welcome back. What you do?" Serenity asked. "Well, after getting all the Ducklett's in a row, I've finally got a few things set up and planned out for each of you! By the time the night's over with, you better believe all three of you are going to be some crazy tired Pokemon!" he chuckled. "Haven't we been tired already...?" Alicia asked with a scowl. "I-In a good way I mean!" Chris laughed nervously. "There's a good way to be tired...?" Rose asked, tilting her head causing Chris to slump. "C-Come on, take it easy on me..." he replied, both giggling teasingly while Serenity stood and walked up. "Sure you okay to do more? Not need rest?" she asked in concern, leaning her face towards his and looking at his eyes. "Ah, ha ha. I'm fine, rest assured! I can't just spend so much time on everyone else without giving you girls some justly deserved attention as well! If it makes you feel better, I give you my word I'll take a breather the moment I've finished everything I wanna do with you girls, alright?" he promised with a hand up, Serenity raising her eyebrow before crossing her arms with a nod. "If say so." she replied. "What is it you plan to do with us exactly? With the ship in its current state there's likely not much we can do." Alicia asked skeptically. "Oh don't you worry about that! With everyone working together the ship has plenty of stuff fixed up already. Not everything of course, but there's more than enough available to help keep passengers distracted until we're able to move again. Different events and stuff, and believe it or not some of the restaurants and shops are open to for people to pass time at! Still a bit of a rough scene wherever you go, but the crew and all are working hard to get things cleaned up, and they've got plenty of volunteers lending a hand now too! Never underestimate ones willpower." he smirked with his chin held high.

"Anyway, my plan is to take you girls out, ONE at a time..." he emphasized causing their eyes to widen curiously. "And really enjoy some quality one on one rest and relaxation with each other! It's like I said earlier, you girls bonding is important to me, but after everything we've been through up till now, and after some rethinking on my part, the best thing for you right now is some time to yourselves to form your own memories, have your own fun, and for me to focus on each of you the way you deserve. The only thing I've tried to do with you till now is everything together basically, and that was my mistake by forcing you to be together every time we do something. So consider everything we do tonight my way of saying sorry for not considering these kinds of things sooner." he smiled, the girls looking at one another before nodding in response. "It does sound intriguing." Alicia smirked. "It would be nice to have our own time with you. We really haven't done anything like that. Not very much at least." Rose added. "I all for it. Will be nice to get away." Serenity nodded. "Now, the hard part was deciding the order I take you girls out..." Chris began causing Serenity and Alicia to scowl at one another. "But after a lot, and believe you me I mean a LOT of thinking, I decided I'd start with..." he continued causing all three to shoot up, Serenity lifting her hands with the look of a feline on the hunt on her face causing Chris to laugh nervously and step back. "E-Easy! Remember you're EACH getting time alone tonight!" he reminded, all three relaxing themselves slightly as he cleared his throat. "The first girl going out with me tonight, is Serenity." he revealed, causing Alicia to groan and roll her eyes while Rose slumped with a quiet "aww" and returned to the couch, Serenity standing still and blinking before pointing at herself. "Pick me first?" she asked, Chris nodding in response. "It was a tough choice, really tough, but I deci-ACK!!" he shout as Serenity ran into him with a tight squeeze causing his cheeks to puff out full of air.

"I knew it! I am best! Always first!" she shout excitedly with a grin from ear to ear on her face. "S-Sereni-ty! B-Brea-the! A-Ai-r!" Chris struggled, trying to push Serenity back causing her to look at him before jolting and releasing his body allowing him to gasp for air before leaning back and popping his spine with a relieved sigh. "S-Sorry!" she apologized, Chris laughing nervously and waving his hand. "N-No worries." he replied before looking at the others. "Sorry about that, but trust me, your time will come soon enough and I promise I've got things planned that will make your wait more than worth it!" he assured, giving Alicia and Rose a thumbs up. "Having her picked before myself, I certainly hope so." Alicia replied before laying her head back down with a scowl. "Don't worry you two, we'll all have a good time tonight. At the very least, I'll give it my all to make sure you do! That counts for something, right?" he asked, Rose smiling with a nod while Alicia glanced at him and waved the tip of her tail in response. "Soooo...?" Serenity asked, leaning forward with her hands behind her back and grinning again. "What we gonna do?" she added, Chris taking a step back and smiling while facing away shyly. "Y-You'll see." he replied as she grabbed his arm and pulled him close to her. "Should have known you pick me first." she giggled before sticking her tongue out at the others causing Rose to scowl and stick her tongue out back at her, Alicia letting out a hiss towards her and laying her head down in a different direction. "H-Hey now, come on." Chris lectured, Serenity poking him on the nose. "Hey to you. Lets go!" she replied, tugging on his arm. "O-Okay! Okay! S-See you girls soon!" Chris assured, giving Rose and Alicia a wave as Serenity pulled him towards and out the door. "Boy, you're really rarin' to go." Chris chuckled as he closed the door behind them. "Course I'm ready!! We not be alone since meet others!!" she replied excitedly. "Yeah well, just don't rush things or it'll be over all the sooner!" he reminded before pausing and turning back towards the room. "Now what doing?" Serenity asked as he opened the door. "Forgot something, one sec." he replied, heading inside leaving Serenity in the corridor, crossing her arms with an impatient scowl.

Walking back up to the door herself, she paused when she stood in front of one of the mirrors lining the wall, looking herself over and fidgeting with her hair and skirt. "Alright! I'm back!" Chris called out, causing her to shout and jerk her body around towards him with an embarrassed laugh, Chris blinking at her and tilting his head. "You okay?" he asked, walking up and holding out her guitar. "I thought it'd be nice if, you know, maybe you played a little music whenever we get a chance to sit for a bit. I miss being able to enjoy that side of you." he smiled as she took the guitar and blushed slightly. "I still not very good..." she replied while putting its strap around her and wearing it against her back. "Oh come on, I think it sounds great whenever you play it." Chris praised with a thumbs up. Looking at Chris for a moment, Serenity glanced towards the door causing him to tilt his head once more. "What's wrong? Are you having second thoughts?" he asked in concern. "N-No. Just thinking." Serenity replied, looking at herself in the mirror once more. Facing the mirror himself, Chris chuckled and stood behind Serenity, wrapping his arms around her causing the Pokemon to jolt and freeze up wide eyed. "Not a Gardevoir in the world half as beautiful as you! Or half as powerful either! Who'd of thought a guy like me would wind up having the best of the best in life?" he grinned causing her to flush brightly before rapidly shaking her head and nudging him back. "O-Okay, that enough!" she laughed nervously. "Too much?" Chris chuckled with a wink as she glanced away with a shy smile. "Y-You wait here. I be back, then we go." she replied before quickly returning to the room herself, shutting the door leaving Chris standing in the corridor this time. "Huh... Maybe it WAS too much." he muttered, blinking at the door before scratching his head and raising an eyebrow. "First she's gung ho, now she's running back to square one." he added before shrugging and looking at himself in the mirror.

After several minutes, Serenity finally came back out of the room, guitar in hand looking around and finding Chris standing at one of the windows looking out into the darkness. "I back. Sorry take so long." she apologized, walking up next to him. "Ah, no worries. Long as it's not cause I scared you off or anyth...!!!" he replied, turning while taking a sip from a glass of water one of the waiters had given him only to jolt and nearly spit out a mouthful all over her, instead jerking his face away causing a small amount to spray on the window while he swallowed and choked on the rest causing Serenity to take a step back wide eyed. "Y-You okay?!" she asked nervously. "I-I do too much? Not look right?" she asked in concern as he coughed, coaxing himself out of the spell by rubbing his throat and taking a deep breath. "H-Holy crap... Talk about running into a wall." he replied, wiping his mouth and taking another breath before relaxing with a sigh and facing Serenity once more. "I-It's not that you did too much, I just wasn't ready to see you like that. It's a shocker." he smiled nervously with slight sweat on his face. "I was ready to take you out, but looking like that I'm not so sure I can!" he added causing Serenity to sulk. "Can't take out? Then was bad idea?" she replied, fidgeting with a somber look on her face. "N-No!! It's not because it was a bad idea!! Just, seeing you like that. It makes me nervous..." he explained, scratching his cheek with a slight blush on his face. Looking her over, Serenity had retracted her outer layer of skin in favor of donning one of the outfits he'd helped her pick out during one of their shopping trips, having chosen a backless halter neck dress with an open slit in the side to show off during their time alone together, black in color, which allowed her horn to stick out from both the front and back without interfering with the dress, albeit at the cost of showing off her breasts which, now that they were no longer restricted by her outer layer, filled out the dress more than he'd expected.

Blinking at him curiously, Serenity tilt her head before looking down at herself for a moment, a sly smile slowly spreading across her face as she looked back up at him. "Ooohhhh, THAT why you nervous." she point out before lifting her breasts with a wide grin. "You like? Not worry! Only you touch!" she affirmed causing Chris to flail in a panic before yanking her hands away from them. "D-Don't do that kind of stuff in the open!!" he warned causing Serenity to blush wide eyed before giggling. "You cute." she replied, patting him on the head before pulling his face between her breasts, his cheek pressing against her horn causing him to groan embarrassed. "S-Serenity, come on." he said in a muffled voice before pulling himself away and shyly facing a different direction. "Man, even though I've seen your body and all before, I gotta say it seems like I'll never really get used to it. Especially with you trying out human clothes and all now... Here I was trying to fluster you and now I'm getting all messed up. You don't play fair at all..." he added, Serenity walking up to his side and leaning against him with a wide smile. "Well, you did say I the best of best!" she reminded causing him to chuckle. "Yeah, and I'll never take it back either. You really are." he affirmed before giving her a hug causing Serenity to grin and let out an excited squeal before wrapping him in her arms as well causing him to let out a slight "urk!" with a nervous laugh. "E-Easy Serenity, it seems your horn has a mind of its own. Sometimes it's soft, right now it's kinda poking me a little too hard." he point out causing her to jolt and release him. "Sorry! I try to make sure it not dangerous when hug you but not think about it that time." she apologized, tapping her head with her knuckle and sticking her tongue out slightly.

"Oh! Let me show!" she added before tapping her horn. "See? Right now, it hard. Like rock. My kind sensitive here, so keep it like this most of time so it not so bad. We still sense feelings of others this way though. But when want, can make soft!" she smiled before taking his hand. "Like this, see?" she point out before pressing is hand against it, her horn now squishing like her breasts causing Chris's eyes to widen and a flush to appear on her face. "N-Now soft, feel lots... Like this, my kind connect better." Serenity added, Chris noticing a slight blush on her face as she looked down at his hand. "Y-Yeah, n-neat." he nodded, suddenly feeling her pulse rising through her horn causing Chris to jerk his hand back with a nervous laugh. "A-Anyway!! L-Lets get going!!" he added, Serenity quickly shaking her head before nodding. "Y-Yeah! Have fun!" she replied as he offered his arm, Serenity taking it before the two started making their way along the corridor. "I-I actually never noticed that about your horn before, then again, I don't exactly make it a point to go putting my hands all over it. That's actually pretty cool..." Chris point out while scratching his cheek and glancing towards the ceiling. "Mm! We not do that unless for special one. But my kind, each very different. Some still keep horn softer than others. When not have partner, making it soft help sense danger, bad humans and Pokemon from far away. We use horn for many reasons. But... We never make it THAT soft unless for, well... Unless REALLY want to connect..." she explained while poking her fingers with an embarrassed smile causing Chris to gulp before quickly shaking his head and clearing his throat. "S-So it's like a radar. The harder it is, the shorter the range you sense things, but when you make it softer, you can scan wider areas, right?" he asked. "Yes! Our horn have strong energy inside, making it hard help us hide energy from danger too." she point out causing Chris to blink at her in surprise.

"You mean all that power gets stored in there? That's pretty wild... I'm surprised your horn hasn't exploded then considering how much you've got in there." he point out causing Serenity to raise her head proudly. "That's so cool... A radar and storage all in one." he muttered, giving it a curious touch causing his finger to squish into her horns tip making Serenity jolt and let out a noise. "S-Sorry!!" Chris panicked, jerking his hand back. "I-I figured you made it hard again! H-Hard to tell..." he added, facing away embarrassed while Serenity glanced at him with a blushed smile. "Not worry. Horn hard or soft, you can touch anytime. I not mind at all." she point out, spreading her breast with a hand exposing more of her horn in her cleavage causing Chris to flush brightly before touching it herself. "But you right, should make it way it was again." she nodded while closing her eyes "And... All done, see?" she giggled, giving it a tap showing she'd returned her horn to its rock like state. "Y-Yeah. Th-That's enough about the horn for now." Chris replied, glancing away causing Serenity to giggle. "So cute, so cute." she repeat, patting him on the head once more. "A-Anyways!! H-Here, let me carry the guitar. You shouldn't have to tote it around, and wearing it now would mess up your dress and all." he point out, Serenity nodding and handing it over in response allowing him to put it on against his back. "You so sweet." she smiled before taking his arm once more and leaning against his side, purposely holding it against her cleavage causing Chris to walk in a tensed manner while keeping his eyes averted. "You know, horn might be hard, but can still sense what you feel and think. I forget how naughty you are. What you thinking bring back good memories for me too..." she teased causing Chris to jolt and jerk away.

"I-I told you not to read people like that!! Q-Quit it!!" he shout in a flushed and flustered state causing Serenity to laugh. "Not worry! I have same feelings! Same thoughts! Not feel bad. We the same." she assured causing Chris to groan and slump embarrassed as she walked up and put a hand on his cheek causing his eyes to widen. "We exactly same..." she repeat before giving him a kiss causing Chris's pulse to sky rocket and his hair to stand on end, quickly pulling away once more. "O-O-Okay!! T-To the deck!! D-Date night!! Fun time!!" he shout with a nervous laugh, now walking ahead of Serenity like that of a robot causing her to grin. "This gonna be fun..." she said quietly with a sly and mischievous smile before following by his side. Once they had reached the upper decks and were standing beneath the night sky, Chris took a deep breath of the crisp air before letting out a relieved sigh, his sensations of claustrophobia passing as Serenity looked around. "Man, gotta admit, I love the night and all, but if I had to spend a hundred years in darkness... I don't see how Captain Smith and all those people on the Arceanic survived with their sanity in tact. Talk about tough." he nodded, noticing several Yamask, likely couples, roaming the deck among the Guardian's passengers. "Darkness not bad, long as have someone with." Serenity explained, taking Chris's hand in hers. "Darkness cold, it lonely, but long as someone there, it okay." she added, clutching his hand tighter causing Chris to raise an eyebrow. "Serenity? You alright?" he asked, causing her to jolt and wave her hand. "All good! Just thinking. Not worry." she nodded. Tilting his head, Chris nodded back and strolled along the deck with her.

"Just you and me, been a long time..." he chuckled as they strolled along. "Should do more often. Like being alone." Serenity replied, resting her head against his shoulder. "It's like I said, it's something I should have tried doing way before now instead of always making you be together for everything. I always thought doing things with you equally, together, was the best way to go. But there's more way than one to do things equally with you girls, to make each of you feel important. Just have to open my mind up more often and try being more creative." he smiled while putting an arm around her. "So big..." he muttered causing Serenity to look up at him curiously. "Being alone like this just makes me think back on when you were smaller. I remember the night we first met." he explained, Serenity looking down with a small smile. "Sorry if bringing up that moment causes bad memories to stir, but for me it's one of the best memories I've got." he apologized, Serenity shaking her head. "It not make sad. It night you save me, night new life start for me, better life. I not see what happen when save me, but... Know you work hard to." she replied. "Remember first time you touch me, was soft, warm. Was nice. Hold me close, and remember sounds. You work hard to climb down cliff, work harder to climb back up. Then take me to camp, take care of me." she added with a slight blush. "So wait a sec... If it made you happy and all..." he asked before scowling. "Why did I get slapped all over the next day?" he asked, raising an eyebrow causing Serenity's eyes to widen with a flush on her face. "Th-That question not fair!!" she replied while jerking away and poking her fingers. "Not fair? Not fair how?! You were tiny, but you really packed a punch..." Chris grumbled, rubbing his cheek as if he still felt the attack.

"W-Was nervous..." she explained quietly with her back turned. "Was nervous, was scared. You hold me so much, treat so nice. I wake up so close to you, it make me panic. Plus, you still stranger then. After way human treat me, not know how to feel about you. So when feel you so close, at first not remember it you, and when did remember it you, that make feeling worse. It embarrassing, and was scary." she went on, puffing her cheeks out with a pouty expression. "Not fair asking that question, hard to answer." she repeat, glancing back at him with a scowl. "I female, you male. How you feel waking up with stranger who treat so nice for no reason? It confusing." she added. "But..." she paused, facing away again and looking down while continuing to fidget. "Was happy. Even if scared, was happy. Was alive, felt better. You take care of me. More you touch me, better I felt. World empty, world cold, you fill world, make world warm. Hate humans, but like you. Could feel you different, and more time spend with you, more realize that." she went on while turning towards him. "You think Ninetails make you special, but not Ninetails, it you. You make you special, because you good. You brave. You honest and nice." she smiled causing Chris to jolt and glance away with a blush, scratching his nose shyly with a slight smile. "Y-Yeah? Thanks, I guess." he replied, Serenity nodding and walking back up to him. "Always remember that, you good, you special, because of you." she affirmed, leaning against him once more causing Chris to smile and rub her on the head before clearing his throat and coaxing her back. "Alright then, I have another question..." he said, Serenity looking at him nervously.

"Are you good at balancing yourself?" he asked, causing her to blink at him for a moment before tilting her head. "Good at... Balance? Why?" she asked. Looking around, Chris found a light post near the railing of the ship and smirked, leading her up to it before resting his staff and her guitar against the rails. "I want you to stand on top of the rails here." he explained causing Serenity to jolt and step away. "Why I do that?!" she asked nervously. "Relax, relax. You can hold onto the light post here to help keep you steady, and I'll help you too." he coaxed, Serenity looking at him nervously before warily walking up to the railing. "I not understand this part of date at all..." she muttered, looking over. "We not going for swim are we?" she asked, pointing at the ocean causing Chris to laugh. "No way, just trust me! Climb on up." he coaxed, Serenity nodding before carefully doing as told, clutching the light post in one hand while doing so, Chris holding onto her until she was standing atop the rails. "N-Now what?" she panicked. "Just carefully turn around towards me." Chris replied. With a groan, she carefully turned around, finding Chris standing with his back to her. "Alright then, climb on!" he grinned while looking back at her, pointing at his shoulders causing her eyes to widen. "Want me on shoulders?" she asked in surprise, still clutching the light post cautiously. "Just ease yourself down onto them and have a seat." he instructed with a nod. "B-But even you say it! I'm big now!" she panicked. "No worries, no worries! I gotcha. Never let ya down yet have I? Trust me!" he grinned causing Serenity to blush slightly before nodding. "Alright, now I'm just gonna back up a bit more. Ease yourself down, and my hands are here if you need em." he coaxed, holding them up as she looked down at him silently, remaining still as he blush slowly grew brighter before finally inching herself off the railing.

"That's it, slow and steady..." he coaxed as her foot brushed his cheek before the length of her leg rubbed down against it, Serenity's arms trembling as she clutched the pole and grabbed one of his hands tightly. "You okay? You sure?" she panicked. "You're doing fine." he assured as she continued slowly making her way down. After a moment, she was able to sit on his shoulders, working her other leg around him before positioning herself better. "There you g...!!" Chris said, pausing wide eyed when he felt a strange fabric rubbing against the back of his neck, Serenity squeezing his cheeks between her thighs as she continued positioning herself clumsily. "Th-This n-not easy a-anymore." she stuttered, nervously balancing herself causing the fabric to continue rubbing against the back of his neck. "E-Er... S-Serenity?" Chris spoke up, causing her to pause. "Wh-What? Too heavy? Should get off?!" she panicked, about to do so only for Chris to assure her all was well. "I-Its just..." he said nervously as a blush spread across his face. "The back of my neck. A-Are you... Trying out...?" he referenced quietly, having difficulty asking the question as Serenity tilt her head. "Back of neck? Trying out?" she asked, looking down before flushing herself and glancing away. "M-Maybe. Not business." she replied causing Chris to gulp. "Y-Yeah, you're right. That's rude of me." he nodded. "F-Forget about it. H-Here." he added, offering his other hand as well. Nodding, she released the pole and grabbed it tightly, the two now holding both hands together as she wobbled atop Chris's shoulders. "Ha ha! There you go!" Chris praised, Serenity unable to respond as she continued flushing from the experience and question combined. "Just like old times... Ready for me to walk?" he asked. "W-Walk? What about stuff?" she asked, looking towards her guitar and Chris's staff. "No worries! We won't go too far." he replied, not wanting to tell her he couldn't support her for very long anyways yet wanted to do his best nonetheless.

After collecting herself, Serenity gave him a nod allowing Chris to carefully walk along the deck. "After having to watch Alicia and Rose kinda stealing your spot for so long, I thought you deserved to have another ride again. Sorry its not quite the same as it used to be though." he apologized with a guilty smile, Serenity looking down at him and shaking her head. "N-No, it really... Sweet. Feel... Strange now, but it sweet." she replied before looking around. "Remember when riding on shoulders make me feel really big. That not changed." she giggled, looking down at Chris as he walked along with a blush on his face, Serenity smiling slyly and squeezing him with her thighs causing him to gulp once more. "S-So you're enjoying it, right?" he asked. "Mm! I always like being on shoulders. Worried about you, but still like it." she assured. "D-Don't worry about me. I'm a-ok." he replied before finally turning and carefully heading back towards where the pole was. "I-It's not so much that you're big now, but just the fact you're a girl, and your looks and all, makes me nervous for other reasons, shy and all." he explained. Looking down at him, Serenity smiled as he made his way up to the pole. "A-Alright, you know what to do." Chris explained, pointing out the pole and getting a nod from Serenity in return as he did his best to hide his weakening legs. Once she was off and back at his side, she gave him another hug and grinned. "Thanks for ride!" she nodded, getting a smile from Chris in return before she leaned towards his ear. "About question... I mean not business right now. You find out later." she explained, Chris blinking at her and tilting his head with an "eh?" only for Serenity to wink with a finger over her mouth and giving her skirt a discrete tug at the hip causing Chris to jolt and flush, the Pokemon laughing in response before happily waltzing along the deck ahead of him, giggling along her way as Chris sighed and smiled. "This is good..." he nodded, putting her guitar back on and taking his staff back in hand before following her.

Strolling about, Chris suddenly jolt when he felt his Pokedex vibrating in his coat pocket. "Ah, think the event's about to start." he muttered, Serenity pausing and looking at him curiously as he took the device out and flicked it open revealing a list. "What all that about?" Serenity asked. "Just some things planned for each of you. I have it set to go off when something important is ready!" he grinned as she blinked at him. "Event? What happening?" she asked. "Well, loving music the way you do, I thought it would be nice to go to a performance, dance a little. Wadaya think?" he asked, Serenity tilting her head and nodding. "Music and dancing good. Not sure about same music we hear before. It kind of boring, snake like it though." she point out. "No worries, it's nothing like that orchestra stuff. The Captain set up some performances to keep everyone in high spirits, pump em' up and all. Something people can move to." he explained with a wink. "Sound nice. Where music at?" Serenity asked, looking around curiously. "Not far from here. They've got things set up where the pools were at. Now that the whole area's sealed and part of the deck they can use the space for whatever they want. I still think that's pretty cool." he chuckled while offering an arm and leading Serenity in the opposite direction. After a moment, he looked at her before grinning causing Serenity to blink at him. "What? Something on face?" she asked. Reaching out towards her, Chris continued grinning causing Serenity to step back cautiously. "Wh-What doing? Not like look on face..." she added warily. Suddenly, he jumped towards her and grabbed Serenity in his arms causing her to freeze and flush. "Wha-wa-wa-What doing?!" she panicked. "Oh this is gonna be fun..." Chris replied slyly, his mischievous tone causing Serenity to sweat slightly before suddenly going wide eyed and puffing her cheeks out, followed by uncontrollable laughter as she wriggled and thrashed in his grasp.

Caught in his clutch, Chris took his chance to tease Serenity, skillfully and rapidly squeezing and massaging her sides with his fingers causing the Pokemon to tear up as she continued laughing, begging him to stop only for Chris to pull her closer with her back against him before doing the same to her stomach. "Whatsa matter? Can't take iiiiiiit?" he teased before pressing his face into her neck and giving it a playful blow causing Serenity to laugh and thrash all the more, her tears now streaming from her eyes as her face flushed. After a moment, he finally released her allowing Serenity to leap away and stand hunched over, gasping for air while Chris laughed. "Oh man, I miss foolin' with ya like that." he said with a grin, Serenity looking at him with a scowl. "Th-That n-NOT okay!!" she lectured, wiping her eyes and taking a deep breath. "That dirty trick. That really dirty trick. Not fair." she pout, crossing her arms as Chris wiped a tear from his own eye. "I'm sorry Serenity, it was just too good a chance. Besides, you were adorable! It's nice to see that side of you again. That smile and your laugh... Even seeing you pout like that. You've no idea the good it does my heart after a trip like this. Don't forget about how worried I was about all of you. Everything was almost over, so messing with you like that, your reaction... I needed it." Chris smiled, reaching out and rubbing Serenity on the head. "I love you, getting to play with you and all is all part of showing it." he affirmed as Serenity looked at him for a moment before letting out a sigh and nodding. "It okay, if put that way." she replied before giving him another hug. "That's my gi...!!" Chris said with a pause, jolting when Serenity suddenly clutched him tightly before facing up with a sly grin. "But that not mean I not want revenge." she said in a mischievous tone causing Chris to jerk away. "Ooohhh no you don't." he replied, waving his finger at the Pokemon as she raised her hands, ready to do the same to him with a playful feline look in her face.

Leaping towards him, Chris quickly dodged aside with his hands out. "C-Come on now! I was just foolin' around! Take it easy!" he panicked as Serenity giggled. "I beg to stop, you not stop, now MY turn!" she replied before leaping towards him once more and chasing him along the deck. "You mine!! Mine mine mine!!" she shout while grinning, her hands outreached towards Chris's back as he ran along the Guardian, ducking and dodging as best he could. "I-It's no fun when I'M the hunted you know!!" he shout. "I know!! That what make it fun for me!! More you run, more fun to catch!!" Serenity replied with a laugh. Eventually, Chris finally wore himself out, stumbling along while clutching his staff before Serenity took her chance and pounced on his back, sending the both of them falling onto the deck with Chris sprawled out beneath her. "G-Got you!!" Serenity grinned before letting out a "whew!" and wiping her forehead, Chris wheezing beneath her. "I-I'm done ex-exercising for t-today." he pant, letting out a groan before resting his chin on the deck. "Aww, poor you." Serenity teased while laying on his back, pressing her breasts against him and poking his cheek. "You know, I can make feel good. Can make energy come back..." she added quietly in his ear causing Chris to jolt and flush. "O-Oy oy, not now." he mumbled shyly causing Serenity to laugh while raising up and sitting on him. "Mmm, that good run. Chasing you do body good!" she sighed while stretching her arms up. "So, close to music yet?" she asked, looking around while Chris sweat beneath her. "H-How in the world?" he thought to himself. Before he could answer her question however, they suddenly saw spotlights flash on overhead followed by the sound of guitars and drums, and next thing he knew Serenity shot up and let out an excited shout. "Love this song!!" she exclaimed before reaching down and yanking Chris up. "E-Easy! You know, you're lucky you didn't wreck your guitar tackling me like that." he lectured, looking over the instrument before picking his staff up.

"So, you know that song?" Chris asked, Serenity tugging his arm excitedly and nodding. "Mm!! Hear on TV lots!!" she replied while pulling him along. "W-Well, at least I don't have to worry about you not liking the plan then. But... If you hate humans so much, why so excited over their music?" he asked, causing Serenity to jolt and pause before scowling back at him. "So, you're admitting you don't hate them as much as you say then?" he asked with a grin, Serenity releasing him and crossing her arms while turning her back. "Not going!!" she replied in irritation. "Easy, easy, I'm just poking fun is all." Chris coaxed, putting his hands on her shoulders. "Come on, lets go have some more fun, huh?" he asked. "No! You ruin mood!" Serenity pout, facing away from him with her nose up and cheeks puffed. "Aw c'mon, I know you wanna go! Or, if you'd rather we do something else, I know how to pass the time..." he grinned slyly before suddenly grabbing her sides causing Serenity to jolt wide eyed before jumping away. "NO!! Not that again!! We go!! We go!!" she shout with her hands out, Chris smirking with a nod. "I knew it wouldn't be too hard." he chuckled causing Serenity to face away with another scowl and a slight blush. "You not fair, not fair at all." she muttered while pouting. "Aww, c'mon now. No sulky faces." he smiled while walking up behind her and slumping against her back, his arms dangling over her shoulders causing Serenity to struggle to hold up his sudden weight. "Wh-What doing?" she groaned. "If you're gonna sulk, then I'll sulk." he replied, letting out a fake somber sigh and pressing more of his weight against her causing Serenity's legs to wobble. "O-Okay!! Okay okay!! I not s-su---lk!!" she replied, falling down with a thud with Chris sitting on her this time. "Hey! This IS pretty comfortable!" he laughed while Serenity blushed beneath him. "I not mind you being on top, but not like this..." she grumbled. "What was that?" Chris teased, holding a hand to his ear. "I not say anything!! Get off so we go!!" Serenity shout in frustration, pushing Chris aside before standing and patting off her dress.

Standing with her, Chris put a hand on Serenity's shoulder with a smile. "Sorry for teasing you." he apologized, Serenity scowling at him before sighing and smiling back. "It okay. We alone, that make me happy." she replied before holding his hand. Nodding at one another, they continued on their way towards where the music was coming from, taking several turns before finally coming to the portion of the deck that had once been one of the pool sections, now filled with passengers surrounding a stage in the center. "Whoo boy, what a crowd." Chris whistled, looking around while Serenity's eyes widened and sparkled while looking at the stage and listening to the performance. "I gotta admit, I'm surprised you're into this kind of music! I didn't expect what was playing to sound this hard core. I just thought the band looked cool and might play something neat, but this music is pretty out there." Chris point out while looking over the crowd. "I know, it great isn't it?" Serenity grinned. "It's definitely something, I'll give it that. If nothing else it's letting me learn about a new side of you." Chris nodded before Serenity grabbed his arm and gave it a tug. "Come on!! Come on!!" she coaxed, pulling him along into the crowd. "E-Easy!! I'm coming, I'm coming!!" Chris shout. Pushing her way through the crowd, Serenity took Chris towards the center as the music came to an end, leaving the crowd cheering for more. "Aww, that it? We just get here!" Serenity sulked in frustration. "I-I don't think it's over with. Going by the schedule they're still on for a while longer." Chris point out, smiling nervously as he was squished and bumped into by those around him. Following this statement, another performance began causing Serenity to shoot up with a grin, about to turn and grab Chris only to find herself bumped into and pushed around by those around her. Frustrated by this, Serenity grit her teeth before releasing her energy, forcing the crowd around them to separate causing countless people to shout in panic while creating a circular opening allowing her and Chris to move about freely, those around them looking at the two wide eyed while many sighed in relief. "Now we dance!" she grinned before pulling Chris against her causing him to flush wide eyed with a nod.

As the band resumed their performance, Serenity began swaying around and against Chris as he nervously danced in place, the Pokemon grinning slyly. "What wrong? Not going to hurt you..." she teased while backing up against him, grinding her butt against his crotch in a circular motion when "mix it up here in my little bowl" was sang causing Chris to jump back in panic, his face glowing as Serenity smirked and continued swaying around him. "You not need that right now." she said before engulfing his staff and her guitar in her psychic energy and sending them hovering up above them. Taking his hands in hers, Serenity started guiding him around the deck, swaying about as he did his best to follow, gulping as she backed away and put on a show before him. As the band sang "you'll feel the fog as I cloud your mind" Serenity started releasing an eerie energy, engulfing the deck around them within a dark fog of sorts with another sly smile on her face. "S-Serenity?" Chris said warily, blinking wide eyed before jumping in surprise when Serenity suddenly vanished, sinking into the fog within a split second before a dark figure with glowing eyes shot up behind him causing Chris to shout before finding himself caught within its dark embrace, Serenity slowly rising from the fog in front of him "Y-You know Shadow Sneak?!!" he shout in surprise, his eyes wide as Serenity giggled and teased his neck with her teeth, feeling his torso up while pressing her breasts against him. Rubbing her hands downwards slowly, when the band sang "if you ever lose affection, I can change your whole direction!" Serenity suddenly gave his crotch a squeeze in one hand while forming a dark claw around the other, slowly moving it towards his face before giving his cheek a rub with the back of her claw, the energy causing him to let out a hiss before she pulled away and gave his cheek a lick. Next thing he knew, his body suddenly phased through the shadow causing Chris to stumble back and fall, looking up as Serenity walked through the shadow herself and gave her claw a lick. "You should remember song..." she said in a dark yet lustful tone, her shadow looming up behind her with its eyes glaring down at Chris before sinking down behind her.

"Y-Y-You're k-kinda fr-freakin' me out here." Chris panicked as Serenity's eyes glowed, a mischievous smile on her face while reaching out. "Not worry! Trust me..." she giggled in a playfully sadistic tone, taking his hand and pulling him back up against her. "Long as I here, you never worry. Always be safe.." she affirmed while resting her cheek against his chest and holding him close as the performance came to an end, the lights flashing on around them as the band thanked the attendees, most of them looking at Chris and Serenity wide eyed from their performance, dazed by a mixture of arousal, awe, confusion, and fear from what they'd witnessed, Chris suffering the same mixed thoughts as he looked down at Serenity with slight sweat on his face. "Y-Yeah, th-that was fun." he nodded before catching a glimpse of his staff above and facing up. "U-Uhh, c-can I have my staff back?" he asked, pointing up with a nervous smile causing Serenity to look up as well. "Oh, forget that." she muttered before snapping her fingers allowing it and her guitar to fall, Chris ducking warily out of past experiences only for Serenity to catch both just inches before hitting him. "What wrong with you? Just wood." Serenity point out, holding the staff towards him as Chris blinked at it and nodded. "R-Right, thanks for the save." he replied, taking it in hand before putting her guitar back on and looking around as the mist Serenity had created began wafting away. "W-What WAS all that?" he asked, giving Serenity an impressed yet bewildered look. "It no fun if not have surprises! You make surprise for me, I give you surprise back! Do good?" she asked with a grin, the side of her shown during the music having seemingly vanished just as suddenly and randomly as it appeared. "Y-Yeah, it was great. But... I think I should watch what I let you get exposed to. That was... Whooo." Chris replied, brushing his hand over his head to gesture how over the top her actions had been, the Pokemon giggling while grabbing his arm in hers.

"Not be party pooper! That was great!" she replied before giving him a sly smile. "I like what I felt when rub body on you, like more when I grab you." she teased, twirling a finger on his chest causing Chris to flush and glance away. "Y-Yeah, that was n-nice." he agreed before quickly shaking his head. "A-Anyways! Lets go do something else now!" he suggested. "Aww, what wrong? Why act that way?" Serenity asked. "Not like much as say you did?" she asked with a somber look on her face causing Chris to jolt and quickly wave his hands. "I-It's not like that! Believe you me it was really, er, really something! I'm just ready to do something a little more... Relaxing. I'm on a fast path to a heart attack here." he explained with a nervous laugh, Serenity tilting her head before going wide eyed and smiling from ear to ear with a slight blush. "Ohhh... Think I know what talking about. My dance DID do good job." she giggled causing Chris to slump with an embarrassed groan. "C-Come on." he complained as Serenity pat his head with a laugh. "It so fun making you like this." she teased. "Okay, we hear music and dance. We do something else now." she agreed, Chris nodding with a "thanks" in response before offering his arm and walking along. Once they were away from the crowd and on their own, Chris glanced at Serenity as she held his arm against her, humming the song they'd listened to with a smile on her face. "H-Hey Serenity?" he asked, causing her to look up at him curiously. "That ability you used, Shadow Sneak, when did you... I mean how?" he asked. "You mean way I grab you? Not know really. Sometimes when you not around, or when you sleeping, I get bored. One day, realize can make shadow do things." she explained. "Especially when you sleeping... Fun to play with you." she added, giggling slyly causing Chris to flush. "Y-You mess with me in my sleep using something like THAT?!" he panicked, Serenity laughing and nodding with a wide grin. "You make nice sounds in sleep..." she replied causing Chris to gulp and face away. "I-I'm still not sure how I feel about that." he muttered while scratching his cheek.

"Well what you expect me to do?! You not touch much, not do anything much! I take what can get! Besides, I not hurt you. You always feel good. Long as you sound happy, that all that matter." she pout with her arms crossed, Chris unable to make out his thoughts on her actions. "Y-Yeah, but when I'm unaware..." he replied. "Hey!! You do me when I not aware!! You touch me, you put your mphmp!!!" she argued, trying to bring up what he did to her in her sleep only for Chris to suddenly drop his staff and grab her from behind, covering her mouth. "SHHHH!!!" he panicked, lecturing her over talking about private things so loudly when they're out and about. Freezing in his clutch, Serenity's eyes widened as a flush appeared on her face, causing Chris to raise an eyebrow with an "eh?" before paying attention to where he'd grabbed hold of her, feeling Serenity's breast squeezed in his clutch causing his eyes to widen before looking around and turning pale at the sight of passengers having paused to look at them, pointing out his hand. "N-Not what you think!! Not what you think!!" he panicked, releasing Serenity and rapidly waving his hands as she looked down and rubbed her breast. Smacking himself on the forehead, Chris dragged his hand down his face with a groan before taking his staff and grabbing Serenity's shoulders, pushing her along while keeping his face down in embarrassment as she looked back at him in confusion with a blush remaining on her face. "What are you trying to do to me?" he muttered while turning a corner before letting out a sigh of relief and glancing at Serenity with a blush, the Pokemon tilting her head while continuing to touch her breast. "S-Stop that!!" he lectured, pulling her hand away causing her to stumble up against him and blush just as much, looking at him wide eyed with her wrist remaining in his clutch. "I-I didn't mean to do that, accident! I-It was an accident!" he affirmed, releasing her and quickly stepping back before facing away.

Looking at him silently, Serenity faced down for a moment before looking back up with an apologetic smile. "I sorry, not mean to make hard on you. Wanted to tease you, not annoy." she told him causing Chris to jolt before scratching his nose shyly. "I-It's not that I'm annoyed. I'm just not used to being alone is all. I did my best to plan something nice for you, but I had no idea I'd see that side of you at the performance. Plus learning you had abilities I didn't know about and all. And the atmosphere that keeps popping up. My mind's just thrown off track by everything. N-Not in a bad way though! It goes to show there's a lot about you left to discover! I just, well, I guess I kinda keep making a fool of myself." he tried to explain with a nervous laugh, Serenity tilting her head before smiling and shaking her head. "You not make fool of self. You just cute. Like that about you. I miss it. Just part of what make time alone with you so nice." she assured. "You funny, that not make you fool." she added with a wink causing Chris to blink at her before grinning. "AH HA!! You admitted it! I AM funny!!" he point out causing Serenity to jolt back and quickly shake her head. "Wh-When acting silly!! When act shy!! Jokes still bad!!" she affirmed, Chris scowling in response before crossing his arms. "Yeah yeah, sure... Guess I'll take what I can get on that one." he replied. "Although, not sure what to think of knowing I'm funny to watch. Kinda makes me feel like I'm some kinda dork." he added. "That actually good word for you." Serenity nodded with a smirk causing Chris to slump. "Gee, that's sweet." he sulked. "You dork, that true. But you lovable dork." Serenity praised, patting him on the back. "Lovable dork huh?" he asked, Serenity nodding before suddenly freezing up when he grabbed her, showing a nervous expression on her face.

"Well, this lovable dork loves taking advantage of weaknesses!" he grinned before sending Serenity into another laughing fit as he rapidly massaged his fingers around her body the same as before. Relentlessly attacking her weak points and teasing her neck with his mouth, the next thing he knew Serenity suddenly collapsed on the deck in front of him, leaving Chris standing in surprise while blinking at the panting Pokemon before him. "S-Serenity?" he muttered, caught off guard by her collapse before quickly getting on his hands and knees. "H-Hey! You okay?!" he panicked, rolling Serenity onto her back and patting her cheek. "S-Sorry!! I'm sorry!! I won't do it anymore!!" he shout, shaking her until he heard a snicker-like sound escape her lips, freezing for a moment. "S-Serenity? You okay?" he asked, leaning over her only to see a smile spread across her face. "S-Serenity?" Chris repeat, bewildered by her behavior. About to touch her face, the next thing he knew he felt as though a bullet had suddenly shot right up his butt, causing his eyes to widen to the point of popping out as his cheeks puffed before letting out a scream and shooting up in the air, clutching his butt while skipping around and cursing causing Serenity to crack up, raising and pointing at him while tears welled up in her eyes. Where he had been, a portion of her shadow was jutting up from the deck, having been used to penetrate him while he was off guard. "THAT punishment for tickling again!! You learn lesson?" she asked, continuing to laugh as Chris whimpered while rapidly rubbing his violated backside, biting his lip while Serenity stood and pat off her dress. "Aww, poor baby. Want rub it? Make all better? How about kiss?" she asked, walking up with a kissy face causing Chris to scowl with a slight blush across his face and tears in his eyes.

Seeing this agitated and pouty expression, Serenity was unable to resist letting out a squeal before holding him close and rubbing his head. "I sorry, was that too mean?" she asked, assuring she wouldn't do it again while kissing him on the head and baby talking him causing Chris to grumble before pulling away. "Ooohhh ho ho ho, just you wait... THAT one I'm gonna remember." he warned, Serenity sticking her tongue out in response and grinning as he bent over and picked up his staff, clutching his butt with a groan while raising back up. "Tsss... New rule, no Shadow Sneak used on people!" he affirmed, Serenity crossing her arms and putting her nose up. "People behave, not have to use." she replied before giggling, the sight of him causing her to laugh once more while walking off ahead of him. Grumbling in response, he followed behind with an awkward walk until the pain gradually subsided, allowing him to move about normally while Serenity snickered throughout his recovery, doing her best to avoid teasing him any further as he gave her repeated scowls along their way. "So, what we do now?" she asked, looking around as he rubbed the last of his pain away. "W-Well..." he replied, glancing away with a scowl. "I had planned to have dinner alone with you, have you play something while it's just the two of us by ourselves. But now I'm not so sure I wanna." he replied, putting his nose up in response. "Aww, you not be mad about that and let ruin night, right?" Serenity asked, poking him on the nose causing Chris to jolt before smirking and giving her a nudge. "Nah, guess I had it coming. It was just revenge." he replied. "S-Still, try to find a less painful way to get it next time." he added, Serenity snickering in response before clearing her throat with a nod. "I give word, I not put shadow in butt again." she nodded causing Chris to flush and shout her name, his reaction causing the Pokemon to burst out in laughter once more.

Once the two had settled down, they resumed their trek along the ships deck, heading towards the Grand Staircase entrance of the Guardian while looking around. "You know, it really is swell, these spirits getting to spend time with their families like this, getting time to see the modern world before they go." he smirked, looking at all the Yamask roaming about and hovering high above the Guardian. "Once they're gone, that's it... I think getting to see their descendants, getting to see a little of what the world they've been missing for so long has to offer now... It'll help them find all the more peace in the end." he added, Serenity looking around with a nod. "I've noticed something though, none of their Pokemon stayed with them." he point out, Serenity looking at him curiously. "Think about it, all of these Yamask, they're all people, not the Pokemon that were on the ship. If the Pokemon had stayed behind, they would of likely become ghost types... I dunno if Pokemon that pass away become Yamask though, as they supposedly only consist of humans." he explained as she looked at the spirits as they float about, many of them giving the two a smile and a wave as they passed by. "You right, can sense they humans. No Pokemon." she nodded. "Thinking about it, the fact none of their Pokemon were by their side all these years really gets to me. I saw their relationships with their Pokemon, especially the Captain, and being without them... I definitely couldn't take it." he admit, Serenity looking at him once more. "What mean?" she asked. "When it comes to you girls, going a single day without you makes me feel down inside. Like back when I was at the hospital. It was tough having to be alone, although I didn't want to admit it then." he laughed before giving a guilty apology with a smile.

"Sitting around by myself, it was rough. But at the same time I wanted you girls to have a blast, not sit around bored or moping over me. I guess that's how they feel, they were lonely and missed their Pokemon, but the thought of them being someplace better helped them push through. But me? Even with that thought in mind, I'd be in a WAY deeper state of misery if I had to be without any of you. I wouldn't have the heart like they did." he confessed with an embarrassed smile. "Guess that makes me sound pretty weak though, huh?" he asked, Serenity smiling and shaking her head. "No, not make weak, make you sweet." she replied, holding his arm and resting her cheek against his shoulder. "Even if go somewhere like humans Pokemon, even if I somewhere good, still not be happy if you not there. Humans have place... Hear on TV. They call... Heaven? Heaven not be heaven without you." she added causing Chris to flush and glance away, scratching his cheek with a shy smile. "Ah geez, now that's just not fair. How's a guy top that?" he asked, Serenity sticking her tongue out teasingly. "W-Weird emotions tonight, huh? Hard to keep up." he replied. "Mm! Get excited, have dance. We laugh, get mad. Feel lots of things, but still have fun." she affirmed with a grin. Looking at her, Chris nodded and put his arm around her, pulling the Pokemon against his side causing her eyes to widen while looking at his arm with a slight blush on her face. "A girl like you is definitely a handful, but that's what makes you so awesome to be with. There's so many sides to you, so many surprises, it can be scary, but in the best of ways I'd say." he chuckled as they reached the entrance and headed down into the ship.

"Something I still not get though, where we eat at?" she asked. "Oh yeah! Kinda cut off the details there, didn't I?" he replied. "Well, you remember that night, back in the city when I tried to surprise you?" he asked causing Serenity to show a wary expression. "Hey now, no worries. This time I promise I'm doing it right. I went overboard that time and took way too much of a human approach, I really put more thought into it this time." he assured. "Just like how I've reconsidered how I handle you girls a bit on this trip, I've done the same thing with my surprises tonight. I want to be more careful and do my best without getting out of hand. I've done pretty good so far, right?" he asked. "That true, you do good." Serenity agreed with a smile as they entered the corridor and continued along. "I not get it though, we going back to room? How that alone?" Serenity asked. "No no no, we're not going to our room. After talking with the Captain, we're allowed to use another one tonight, and I've set it up so you get to see something really nice too." he revealed, Serenity letting out an "ooohhhh" in response before smiling slyly and rubbing a finger on his chest. "And... What I get to see exactly?" she asked, Chris inching away warily. "Oh no you don't, not now." he lectured causing Serenity to cross her arms and pout. "BUT rest assured, it's gonna be something I know you'll enjoy this time." he assured, the Pokemon glancing away. Seeing this, Chris let out a sigh and glanced away as well. "And, you know, it should help build up the mood for THAT too... I guess." he muttered quietly causing Serenity to shoot up straight before grinning from ear to ear. "O-Oh sure, you perk up when you hear that right away." he scowled. "I sorry, was worried we do all this and not do that." Serenity apologized. "Well geez, don't you know how to focus on the main course? If it's all about the dessert you'll never fully enjoy anything." he lectured, thinking about his wording and facing away with an embarrassed groan. "Wrong kind of analogy to use with this topic." he muttered while Serenity giggled and poked his cheek. "Doing cute thing again!" she teased. "Aw yeah yeah. Quit picking on me." he lectured causing Serenity to laugh as they strolled along.

Eventually, they finally reached the door to the room he'd been loaned, Serenity clutching his arm tightly with an excited grin on her face. "E-Easy, you're gonna turn my arm blue." he smiled nervously causing her to jolt and release him. "S-Sorry, not do on purpose." she apologized as he nodded and took out a new card from his coat pocket. "I know it's frustrating having to always be around the others so much, especially during times like this when it's really best to have some personal space for two. So... This is for you." he smirked while opening the door, allowing her to step inside and look around. "It's a lot like our room, but the special thing is that it's at the perfect spot to see something really neat the Captain has set up for passengers." he explained, Serenity tilting her head curiously. "I've already got things set up out on the balcony, come take a look!" he added while heading towards the curtains. "Last time I did this, I focused so much on how guys do things for human girls, and doing something for all of you at once, that it freaked you out. Made you uncomfortable. So this time, I thought a more subtle route would be better." he smirked before opening the curtains, revealing a table set up for two on the balcony with a pair of tall candles in the center, being lit by a pair of Yamask that jolt and blinked at the two wide eyed. "Ah..." Chris muttered, blinking back before waving with a nervous smile causing the Yamask to panic and quickly finish their tasks, placing a small card against one of the candles before rushing off. "G-Guess it HAS been a while since they did this stuff." he laughed nervously, Serenity looking at the table and his embarrassed look before giggling and shaking her head. "It okay, this still sweet." she replied, walking up next to him for a closer look.

"You have Smith human help?" she asked. "Y-Yeah, a little. Some of his crew wanted to lend a hand with things, same for Rostron and his crew. I feel kinda bad accepting their help like this, but it has been a big help in putting everything together. Plus with the way they're so open to how we are, I couldn't really object. They actually praised the fact we're together the way we are. Smith even said it's not as unnatural as folks claim it is. Apparently humans and Pokemon weren't all that different a long time ago, and relationships like ours were considered a normal part everyday things. Kinda neat, huh?" he asked, Serenity blinking at him curiously. "Humans and Pokemon same?" she asked, Chris nodding and about to respond only for Serenity to cross her arms and stick out her tongue with a disgusted look. "I not like that idea. I like better thinking we special. Not like thought of all humans being with Pokemon like us. Other humans not deserve." she replied. "H-Hey now, isn't that for each person and Pokemon to decide? I'm sure there's other Pokemon out there who hate humans just as much yet still found themselves in a situation like ours. You've got to be a little more open minded." Chris point out before sighing and shaking his head. "Well, the point is our relationship isn't as strange as people might think, as you and the others might have thought even. In the past it was a normal thing, and really there's no reason to feel differently now. It's just a matter of humans trying to be superior, and vice verse. You can't tell me you don't think Pokemon are superior to humans?" he asked, Serenity glancing at him before facing away. "Pokemon ARE superior! I agree with Alicia on that!" she replied with her nose up causing Chris to slump. "So you HAVE been bonding huh?" he asked while sliding the door open. "In the wrong way, but bonding is bonding I guess when it comes to you two." he murmured while stepping out, offering a hand to Serenity as she stepped out alongside him.

"Someone feeling superior to another is what puts the world in such a bad spot. That's what caused humans and Pokemon to split apart as much as they have. Being honest, I wish I could of seen a world where we all got along and lived together the way Smith said. Where we're together in more ways than just Pokemon and trainer, or person and pet... I think it really was a better place before we all started putting ourselves at the top of a pyramid." he point out while Serenity walked around the table, looking over the layout in silence. "Uhh, you listening?" he asked, turning on the balcony's light before walking up while watching her curiously. "So this what it look like back then?" she asked, feeling along the tablecloth. "Back then? Oh! You mean last time I tried this. Yeah, kinda, save for the crazy amount of candles and flowers and stuff." he laughed embarrassed. Looking at the flickering candles, Serenity noticed the card and picked it up, looking it over curiously. "Say something, what say?" she asked. "Mm? You mean you don't know?" Chris asked, tilting his head as she shook hers. "Take a moment, think it over. You've seen those words before." he point out, the Pokemon squinting her eyes at the card and flipping it over, looking at the writing on the other side as well. "Those words are some of the most important ones of my life. You made them important to me." he chuckled, Serenity looking at him and tilting her head before looking over the words once more. "Short words, not say much. Do look familiar..." she nodded as Chris pulled out a chair. "Here, have a seat while you think it over." he chuckled, the Pokemon giving her thanks in response before sitting, Chris scooting her in before taking a seat on the opposite side. "Now then, shouldn't be too long before we get our menu's, then we can order something nice!" he grinned. "Say, you're not too cold are you? The temperatures really dropped now that were so far up north. I don't want you getting sick or anything." he point out, only to find himself ignored as Serenity squint her eyes at the card in her hands, murmuring to herself causing Chris to smile before sitting back and relaxing with a sigh, setting his staff against the railing.

After a moment, he caught something in the corner of his eye, turning his head to see the pair of Yamask from before floating down from the upper deck with menu's and napkins in hand. "Ah! And there they are." he smirked, nodding as they float before the two and bowed their heads. "I really appreciate you guys helping me out like this. I feel bad having you work without pay though, you sure you don't want anything?" he asked, the Yamask looking at one another before bursting out in laughter causing Chris to jolt back wide eyed, both Pokemon sighing and patting him on the back while shaking their heads. "O-Okay then, just offering." he smiled nervously as they set out the napkins and held out notepads, looking at the two. "You guys remember how to write?" Chris asked in surprise, both suddenly giving him an insulted glare causing him to gulp and apologize, quickly raising his menu up to hide his face. "L-Lets see, I'll have..." he muttered, lowering his menu and glancing at Serenity as she scratched her head, still trying to figure out the card "Oh boy, thought I made it simple enough." he thought to himself before the Yamask cleared their throats. "A-Ah! Right!" he replied with an apology, putting in his order before handing his menu back to the Yamask serving him. "Appreciate it, thank you." he nodded, Serenity's eyes widening before she shot up. "THAT IT!!!" she exclaimed, startling Chris and the Yamask simultaneously, all of them looking at her and blinking bewildered. "Wh-What's it? Did you decide what you wanted after all? I didn't even see you pick up your menu..." Chris replied, noticing it still laying on the table. "No no!! Not menu, THIS!!" she point out with an excited grin.

"Now remember!! This here, right here!! It say thank you!!" she point out, Chris looking at the card before nodding. "Oohhhh, now I get it! That's right, you got it!" he chuckled with a thumbs up. "Good job Serenity, but what about the other part?" he asked, taking the card and pointing out the words on the other side causing the Pokemon to groan and slump in her seat. "Need time for that, remember but not remember." she replied before slumping with her chin on the table, letting out a sigh as the Yamask looked at the two curiously. "Ha ha, don't worry about it." he told the two before holding up Serenity's menu. "Take a look! Let em know what you want. You can worry about what the rest says later." he instructed, Serenity sitting up with a nod while taking the menu. Once she found a picture of what she wanted she pointed it out to the Yamask, allowing them to look it over and nod before the Yamask serving her took it in hand, the two nodding before flying off over the deck above. "Hard to believed we're being served by the crew of the Arceanic... Pretty incredible when you think about it. A hundred years of being stuck in a wreckage, and now that they're finally free, they're going right back to what they were doing all that time ago . Now THAT'S what I call spirit!" he chuckled. "No pun intended of course." he added, raising a hand before smiling at Serenity, the Pokemon looking at him curiously. "What's with that look?" he asked causing her to glance at the card. "It say thank you. Why say that?" she asked as he took the pitcher on the table and opened its lid. "Ooohhh, it's tea. They remembered! Hot too! Goooood, real good." he chuckled, giving it a sniff before taking one of the two empty glasses and pouring Serenity a drink before serving himself. "Well, why shouldn't it say that? It's the least I could do after everything that's happened." he shrugged before raising his glass to her with a wink and taking a sip, letting out a relaxed sigh while Serenity tilt her head all the more intrigued before sniffing the tea and taking a sip as well, the warmth causing her to let out a sigh of her own. "You right, is real good." she nodded before waiting for more of his response.

"You were my first ever Pokemon you know. I've spent my life helping Pokemon in need, but none of them actually stuck by my side like you. I never went on trips with them, never battled or anything. Just helped them, then they were gone, off living their own lives." be began. "Pokemon have instincts, you know? Much better instincts than humans, I'll give Pokemon credit for that. They can sense when trouble's around, and knowing me the way you do now, you can guess how they reacted to being near me for the most part. I'm not exactly the kind of guy anyone would stick with in the long run under normal circumstances. I'm a magnet for trouble, and when they all sensed that, they were off in a flash most of the time as soon as they were on their feet." he explained. "One of those things that was always a thankless job. I'd fix em' up, and as soon as they could leave it was bye bye. Not that I blame any of them, after all, look at the crazy things that have happened since we met." he laughed, Serenity looking down at her glass and fidgeting with it. "That's why I was surprised by your answer a while ago, back when we were talking about when we met and why you attacked me. I figured it was because you sensed the same thing all the other Pokemon did and wanted to high tail it." he added. taking another sip before looking at Serenity and raising an eyebrow. "What's up? Ruining the mood?" he asked, setting his glass down. "No, just feel bad." Serenity replied. "What for? I didn't mean to make you feel that way." Chris said with an apology. "Not need to say sorry. I should say. That part of reason I was scared. You had bad energy. Could sense heart good, could sense you gentle, but sensed lots of bad energy. It make me panic too." she explained. "Ahh, so it WAS for more reasons than you being shy." Chris nodded before waving his hand.

"Hey, no worries. What matters most to me is the fact you sensed the danger and stuck around anyways. That made the beating worth it! Especially after the life you've had after deciding to stay, and even after everything, you STILL stay by my side! Either you REALLY love me, or you're insane!" Chris laughed causing Serenity to blush and groan embarrassed. "But that's a reeeeaaaal small part behind why I had that thank you put on the card. By being with you, everything I knew about Pokemon changed along the way. Thanks to you especially. I admit, I thought of Pokemon the same as most humans before. Animals we live with in a way. But after living with you and the others, and getting to talk to each of you thanks to your telepathy and all, nowadays I can't tell any difference between people and Pokemon, it's like we really are the same." Chris chuckled before sipping on more of his tea. "Pwaaah... Hits the spot." he chuckled, raising his glass to her once more before looking out at the oceans surface as it reflect the ships lights. "Thanks to you I get to experience a world everyone's forgotten about. You remember how I said I wish I could have seen the way things used to be between people and Pokemon way back when?" he asked, Serenity nodding before sipping her own tea. "I'll never get to see it, but at least I can get a taste of what it must of been like. I can see the world in an entirely different way than most, I can see the values and similarities between our kinds almost nobody else does. The bonds between people and Pokemon that have been lost for who knows how long... I've been able to find them thanks to you, to form them between the two of us and the others. What we have is one of a kind, it's something only we get to experience. That's why I put that on the card too." he smiled. "I get to see you, to love you. To understand you, to appreciate you... All in ways most humans don't get to because of that one moment you decided to stay by my side." he point out causing Serenity to blush and glance away shyly.

"Thanks to you I have a special bridge between our kinds that only I can cross, one the rest of the world is blind to, that it's ignorant of. You're my world Serenity, in more ways than one! You mean more to me than anything in our world, and you're the door that leads me into another one, one that's so amazing, so rare, that you'll never understand just how special you are." he praised causing the Pokemon to flush all the more. "There's a lot of folks out there that promise someone the world, but I think you're the first one to ever actually deliver on it. In fact, you've given me TWO! I know that's a first!" he laughed. "You're a girl that really changed how I view the world, two worlds really... I can never thank you enough. Without you, I'd still have the same mindset most people have, and I would have missed out on so much because of it. I'd of never had the chance to get so close to the others either... You're the best Serenity. It really takes a girl that's one of a kind to give me everything you have." he praised, smiling at the Pokemon as she faced down shyly and fidget with her glass, nodding silently in response with her face seemingly glowing. About to say more, they both jolt from hearing a group calling out from above, facing up to see a group of Yamask floating down towards them with platters in hand. "Alriiiight! Food's here!" Chris smirked, Serenity looking at him and about to say something only to find herself cut off as the Yamask started laying out their meal. "You guys really are the best!" Chris grinned as they worked before backing away together with a collective bow, Chris nodding in response before they flew off back towards the deck above. "Well, how's this dinner? Not too much?" he asked, Serenity jolting and rapidly shaking her head. "I-It good! It nice..." she replied while poking the lid covering her plate. "Hm? Something wrong?" Chris asked, Serenity shaking her head once more. "Okay then... Well, lets eat!" he smiled before taking the lid off her plate and his own and doing the same to the platters, setting the lids aside atop one another. "I tell ya, after everything today I'm starved." he point out, smelling the steam with a satisfied sigh before helping himself, Serenity watching as he stuffed an entire biscuit greedily in his mouth and shuddered. "Swooo gwoood..." he cooed, his cheeks puffed out causing the Pokemon to snicker and shake her head. "Will choke, should be careful." she point out before she began helping herself as well. "Try one! The butter and honey really make em' taste awesome." he grinned, handing her one before helping himself to his meal once more.

While they ate, the two enjoyed various discussions, some making them laugh, others making them scowl at one another, all in good fun as they savored their first real meal since the chaos began, until eventually, they had their fill and had scoot together to look out at the reflection of the lights on the surface of the ocean, Serenity resting her cheek on Chris's shoulder while he held an arm around her, his other hand resting on the table atop hers. "This really is nice..." Chris sighed. "We have peace, we together and alone. Not happen in long time. Is nice." Serenity agreed with a nod. "Oh yeah... Lets see." Chris muttered, taking out his Pokedex and flicking it open. "Looks like it's just about time. Come here." he coaxed, standing causing Serenity to tilt her head before nodding, taking his hand and standing next to him before making their way around the table. "Remember that something special I wanted you to see? The reason I picked this room? Just watch, it's about to start." he smiled, Serenity nodding with an intrigued look on her face before scanning the area around them. "What special thing? Where at?" she asked. "You won't find it anywhere out there, you'll have to look up." he point out, Serenity blinking at him while saying "up?" before facing the sky. However, once her head was tilt back, she started twitching her eye, followed by her nose doing the same before letting out a sudden loud sneeze causing Chris to jump from the startle, looking at her as she groaned and rubbed her nose. "I sorry, get kind of cold." she apologized before suddenly sneezing again. "Yeesh, guess tilting your head back finally brought it out, I knew it would be a matter of time, wearing that dress out here like that. It's near freezing, maybe below by now... I'm surprised you don't have frost bite." he point out before quickly making his way back into the room.

"Where going? What about surprise?!" Serenity asked. "Just wait there!! Gimme a sec!!" Chris shout back. After a moment, he came back out with the large blanket from the rooms bed in hand, Serenity looking at it wide eyed and tilting her head. "What gonna do with that?" she asked curiously, looking down and noticing the lack of space to lay it out. Walking back up to her, Chris draped it around his body, wrapping it around himself snugly for a moment before closing his eyes and humming. "...You get for yourself?" she asked, raising a confused eyebrow before jolting and facing away as another sneeze came out. "That not fair, I need...!!" she added before freezing up when she felt Chris pressing himself against her back, her eyes widening as he wrapped the blanket around her as well and held her in his arms against him. "There we go... Warm?" he asked, now holding her within the blanket with him after having built up body heat within. Looking back at him, Serenity flushed before quickly facing forward, rapidly nodding while remaining tense in his embrace too caught off guard to respond. "I thought it would be nice to warm up this way, being close and all while we watch the surprise. You like?" he asked with a smile, Serenity rapidly nodding once more as her pulse quickened. After a moment, Chris nuzzled his face into the side of her neck, quietly telling Serenity he loved her causing the Pokemon's pulse to race all the more, gulping as he relaxed against her. Clutching his arms, Serenity bit her lip before tilting her head to the side, allowing Chris more room to nuzzle his face against her neck. Noticing this, he chuckled before rubbing his lips along the side of her neck, teasing the Pokemon by opening his mouth and scraping his teeth against her pulse causing Serenity to shudder.

Suddenly, the feint sound of people talking and hissing could be heard coming from above, causing Chris to pause and pull away before looking up. "Wh-Why?" Serenity asked, having fallen into a hot and bothered state from the sudden closeness and affection with an aroused and dazed yet frustrated look on her face. "The surprise, sounds like it's about to...!!" Chris replied, cut off when they heard a loud whistling type of noise and saw a light shoot towards the sky, Serenity jolting in surprise when the light exploded and colors flew everywhere. "And there you go." Chris chuckled, relaxing his chin atop Serenity's head as they watched another, Serenity pointing the out as fireworks and getting a "yep" from Chris in response as more shot off from the ship and went off overhead. "They've got a ton of them on the ship for entertainment. I asked the Captain if he minded setting off a few tonight and he figured it'd kill two birds with one stone. We'd get something special and it would provide a show for lots of other people at the same time. That's why I got the room with the best view since they'd be set off in this direction." he explained, more fireworks continuing to go off as Serenity watched wide eyed, letting out a quiet "ooohhh" in response to the show above. "I hope you like it... Not too much?" he asked, Serenity shaking her head while watching all the colors exploding above. Nodding with a "good" in response, he nuzzled his face back into Serenity's neck, the Pokemon jolting before showing a small smile and tilting her neck once more, enjoying the closeness while they both watched the show going off above them. Continuing to hold her close, Chris rubbed his hand across one of her breast, Serenity taking a deep breath as his touch went over her horn, gliding his finger along its tip causing Serenity to let out a relaxed coo of sorts, shuddering from having it teased.

"Are you alright with this?"
