He made his way down the aisle. He stopped by the Romanovs. He bid them a few kind nods, "Good morning to you." He moved past them then sat down next to Nicolai.

Vlad looked at him, still unable to trust the old ex-con.

Siegfried extended an arm across to touch Taylor on his shoulder, "It is very good seeing you again, and I am happy to see you and Vlad healthy and well."

Taylor nodded without saying anything.

Siegfried sat back while Vlad leaned towards Taylor, "You invited him?"

Taylor shook his head, "No..."

Siegfried wore an odd smile, "I invited myself."

Before Vlad could say anything, music started and everyone in the chapel turned once again.

Thelma walked in, as timid as she'd never looked before, while her daughter walked her down the aisle.

Esther excused herself. Thelma had picked her to be the Maid of Honor, and the old Catholic battess was happy to be given the title by her dear friend.
