Mission Impossible
The alarm from Max's phone went off and throughout the hotel they heard the start of the song. This is the dawning of the age of aquarius, the age of aqaurius, Aquarius. The wolf hit the snooze button to give it time to wake Mark up Max thought to himself, I'll let him sleep he needs time. He went to the bathroom to get ready and get dressed. Max put on a nice suit with a bowtie. His watch he was wearing started beeping; he pushed a button and it started twinkling red and blue with a voice on the other end. The boss of the headquarters started talking and started with a brief of their misson.
The alarm went off again but this time it sang a different tune. Mark woke up to the song Get Psycho. He heard get pyscho, I wanna wanna wanna get pyscho, Run you little bitch I want your bubble blowing, juices flowing. Mark hit the phone like an alarm clock and realized when it didn't go off it wasn't the alarm he was expecting. He groggily opened his eyes and flipped the phone and shut off the alarm. Max came out of the bathroom and said, "Hey sleepyhead get a good nights rest"? Mark just shook his head no. In fact it really wasn't, he had another nightmare that this mission would kill him. Max looked at the worried fox, and came over and hugged him. Mark just hugged him back pretty tight with the worry he was feeling. Max said, " It will be ok bud we will make it through this" Mark nodded and pulled away to get the clothes he was handed to change into. Mark went into the bathroom and changed into his clothes but they were rather plain. There was a red shirt with an arctic wolf hugging this fox, the pants were pretty plain as well they were just jeans with a tear were the kneecaps would show. Mark had just gotten out of the bathroom and Max whistled sharply.
They heard a knock on the door and Max went to get it. The door flew open and they noticed it was the fox from last night but this time he was holding a gun pointed to Max. Max was horrified and stood still he wasn't meant to deal with front line scenes. Mark noticed and used his telekenisis to grab the gun from his hands. The unexpecting fox put up a force field just in time to miss the shot of the gun aiming at him. He laughed and said, "So this will be fun" He shut his eyes and in a split second completely changed; He was a pure black fox with a light grey muzzle leading down. Mark was shocked they had the same technology but acted quickly. He shut his eyes and transformed as well; He changed completely into a pure white fox with a red muzzle leading down. They both werent sure how this would turn out, but that wasn't exactly what they wanted in the first place.
Mark said, "It doesn't have to be this way Dave don't let the darkness of doctor Cornacopia through and end up hurting the ones you love" Dave stood there frozen for a second but the powers of the dark had taken over completely and there was nothing anyone could do. Mark said, "I don't want to hurt you but I will if I have to defend the light". Mark conjured up a sword that was sitting in his bag a second ago. Dave just called with a sharp whistle, and a pure black sword came out with a grey fox in a running position on the handle. They ran to each other and the swords clashed. Mark said, " I am sorry Dave" and with a push of a button on his sword transfered some of his power to the sword. He then struck Dave, and Dave had fallen to the ground transformed back to his normal self.
Dave said, "This can't... be I shouldn't have lost the fight before it even started" Mark looked at him and sighed at the kit. Max went over to Dave and lifted him up. Dave started tearing and knew he had done wrong but his powers were the only reason he wanted to kill them, he didn't want to lose them because he was told by doctor Cornacopia to kill them or he would lose them and his family. Dave looked at the two and sighed, he said, " I am sorry guys I just had a lot at stake" he started crying. They comforted him and looked at him with sympathy. He received a kiss from Max and stopped crying and started to sniffel.
Max looked at him right in the eyes and Dave just looked down sad that he was about to kill the one he loved. He got up and started walking away with his head down, he only got to the door when he felt an arm pull him back. Max said, " Please don't leave we need you more now then ever if you help us kill doctor Cornacopia we can help you". Dave smiled and nodded. Max was happy and hugged Dave, Mark started to call headquarters but was cut off with no reason that he knew. Doctor Cornacopia came around the corner and laughed like a meniacle evil villain he was. Dave tried to hide but it was no use since Doctor Cornacopia used a ray of light from his gun to pull Dave over to him.
Mark tried his mind tricks but was no use to try, because the Doctor just gave him a migraine with his magic. Doctor Cornacopia said, "I am going to send him up with the bomb to set him off and destroy him as well as the ball there will be no countdown to the new year". Max ran to try to grab the gun but was tripped by the rat assistant. Doctor Cornacopia laughed and came down to his eye level; he looked straight into the eyes of the wolf and said, "Don't worry I'll treat this traitor right before I kill him he can have some fun with me". Max got up grabbed the drake by the neck, and threw him into the soda machine. Doctor Cornacopia just got up and said, " Don't mess with the forces of magic you can't control" the doctor's hands started glowing purple and Max was picked up into the air, the doctor said some strange incantation and then his hands turned green. Max let out a yelp as he felt the sharp pain in his chest.
Mark realized what the incantation was from reading it in the book he had of dark magic. He then counter attacked with a strange incantation of his own, " Comide owna carremba azut folid" his hands turned blue and the strange light came out of his hands and were sent flying towards the doctor. The doctor looked over at the beam of light heading his way, He stopped hurting Max and put up a force field. The second later he vanished leaving the group.
Dave looked at the two and said, "I am very sorry you had to go through that please forgive me put me out now I deserve to die" Max looked straight at Mark and shook his head no. Dave said, " Please do it I need to be put down for my own cruel intentions". Mark went over to the fox and slapped him hard on the cheek. Dave just put his head on Max's shoulder and cried his heart out. They didn't think anything of the spell on Max until Dave got off him, because Max was starting to glow red. Dave said, " What is happening to you"? Dave just shrugged and in a second was turned. He looked like a beast now, He looked like a werewolf almost.
Doctor Cornacopia laughed evily and said, " Welcome to the dark side Scourge do my bidding" Doctor Cornacopia was controlling his mind, Max turned to Mark and said what Doctor Cornacopia was speaking through him. Doctor cornacopia made him say, " I will get you for doing that spell" Max jumped up into the air spinning and kicked Mark square on the face. Mark rubbed his cheek and laughed. Doctor Cornacopia made him say," What is so funny I am going to rip you to shreds you dunce". Mark teleported and in a flash was sitting on a chair right in the office of the Doctor.
Mark said, "I knew your spell but why do it on the weak, he wasn't a fighter just a spy" he teleported back to the hotel and looked at Max he put his hands on the side of max's head and started glowing green. After a few moments Max woke up and everything was a blur. Mark said, " Welcome back to our side" Dave ran over and hugged him and then kissed him lightly. Max returned the kiss full heartily though and it seemed to never end. Mark said, "Ok you two break it up it's already one and we need to see what he wants to do with the ball". They agreed and went off to the elevator they got into the elevator and pressed for the first floor. They stopped halfway and the lights went out, however that didn't surprise them when an image was starting to appear. The doctor himself came into the elevator.
The doctor said, "This time no one escapes from me" He trapped them in a pink gooey substance and they tried to squirm but it was no use they couldn't budge it. Doctor Cornacopia said, " Have fun being trapped while I work Dave out here" the doc grabbed Dave and pulled him from his substance. He kissed Dave in front of Max and grabbed at his crotch rubbing it. Dave whimpered and begged but it had no effect. The images started dissapearing in a sparkle of stars and Max was upset Dave would be used jut because of Max. Mark started an incantation of his own and in a matter of hours the strong goo was off of them. Mark focused on Dave and after finding him started reading his mind hoping he would say where he was.
Mark found the location and teleported the two. They were at an abandoned wearhouse on the outside of the dwarf. They noticed Dave being forced to suck the doctor. Max snuck around back as Mark used the frontal aproach. Mark threw a fireball at the doc who just barely dodged it. The doctor looked at the incoming fox and said, " Here is your chance to redeem yourself you little slut" the doctor handed him the machine button.
Dave looked at him and said, " No way in hell would I serve a dark magic user like you just to do your bidding" The drake looked dissapointed but moved on. He grabbed the black sword and started slashing at Dave's fur. He put the few strands he took into the machine, there were a few beeps and colors flashing. The drake started glowing and in a flash turned pure black in his scales. Mark didn't hesitate either he used the power of the light to guide him, he turned pure white and the fight really began. Dave looked worried at the mess this will make as he saw Max coming from behind him. He was untied and said, " Thanks love but we must help Mark, I will give you some of my dark powers but you must not let it control you" Max nodded and kissed Dave.
Dave was happy and Max said, " As long as I have you I'll never let the dark in". Dave just blushed and pulled a few hairs out and turned the machine on. Max felt the power growing inside and he turned into a pure black wolf with a grey underside. Dave did the same but turned pure white this time. He was shocked that the power of love conquered again. He and Max congured up a pair of twin swords. The only difference was the design. Max had a white fox and Dave had a black wolf. They charged at the Drake who has made the first attack to Mark.
There is the story hope that you like it. Sorry for the cliffhanger but I had a bad case of writer's block and after two days called it here.
