Natani leaned forward in her chair to study the dark brown potion a moment. It was close, very close, but not quite. Her Zen blood gave her an acute instinct for poisons, and her senses told her it needed just a little more of the bitter herb. Carefully, she sprinkled more in till the color looked right.

That should do it!

With a smile, she stood. Leaving the brew over a burner she had 'borrowed' from Eric's collection. A perfectly fine bit of equipment he misused to brew coffee. Natani furrowed her brow when she turned to the poison. It was fitting that it looked like coffee itself.

Just need to make sure this doesn't fall into the hands or claws of anyone on this ship here… don't want anyone to be immobilized just yet, though that rotten human I wouldn't mind seeing suffer! “I need some milk and sugar.." he muttered to himself and made his way to his room, where he place the burner and withdrew some sugar and milk from his personal closet. Once he placed enough milk and spoonfuls of sugar into his mug, he started to drink from it. His eyes widened as the taste of the coffee swirled in his mouth, before he swallowed it.

“Wow… I didn't know she could make such a good roast…" Eric thought to himself and finished his mug of coffee after a few moments. He emitted a 'hmph' as she placed the mug down on the table. Well, that's at least one good thing about that wolf… but what did she put in it to make it so--

Eric thoughts cut short as he gasped, his chest felt heavy as he grabbed hold of it with his hands. He fell to his knees and started to wheeze, his vision becoming blurred as he felt a sense of suffocation. Then just as quickly, it stopped… the pain melted into a warmth that encased his whole body. His vision returned to him as he stood up, with his pupils dilated as he looks around the room. “What in the name of the gods was that?!" he thought to himself out loud, only to silence himself he felt euphoria coursing through him and found himself in a fit of laughter. Kat sighed in frustration as she attempted to thread a sewing needle for the fifth time. She stood up, clearing up some of the mess from her work table, and the floor of her quarters. “I'll get back to you later."

After a few minutes of tidying up, her eyes wandered over to a certain something on one of her bookshelves. Hmm… She dropped what she was doing, heading over to the shelf to inspect said item, which turned out to be a rather peculiar book. Kathrin flipped the book over to the cover, which read “Intimacy for Interspecies." The title, for being both subtle and obvious, brought a little smile to her face, as well as a little giggle, before she opened it up, scanning through the table of contents. When he finally turned around to face the Keidran, Eric's brow furrowed as he looked into Kat's eyes. He moved towards her and pulled her into his arms, taking her in by surprise. He continued to hold onto her, without any resistance from her. “Kat, please tell me what's wrong…"

Only to find there was nothing there.

“What?!" Natani barked out as she charged toward the table, frantically looking around for the poison she had brew not long ago. When she couldn't find it anywhere in her room, she glared into empty space when a thought came to her. Did that idiot of a human drink it?! She wasted no time and ran out of her room, and made a dash towards the human's chamber.

When she passed Kat's room, a pungent odor struck her. The smell stumbled her, forcing her to cover her nose in order to regain her senses. “What the?!"

She forced herself closer to Kat's door, and with a free paw she used it to open it carefully to take a look inside at what was generating the smell. With a cautious step, she left the room and stood mortified in the passage until Keith walked past.

“Keith!" she called out to the Bastitan, who she grabbed a hold of and walked towards her room where she slammed the door shut. She reached out for the scroll that entailed the poison's ingredients. “Can you tell me what this means?! It's suppose to be a poison formula," she pointed towards a title written in Human, which was odd since the rest of the content was that of Keidran.

“You can't read Human?" Keith smirked at Natani, though remained silent when she growled at him. “Fine… let's see," he took a hold of the scroll read it out aloud. “'Lust Dust… for lovers who want to make their dreams come true…'" he trailed off and arched his brow at the wolfess. “This is an aphrodisiac, Natani… not a poison."

Natani's eyelid began to twitch and her fist curled in rage. That's the last time I buy something from a fox merchant! She snarled as she looked up into the air. _Zen, if you are hearing this… the next mission we do is a fox hunt! _

When he saw Natani was most likely in talks with her brother, Keith decided to leave her alone and walked out of the bedrotwitchedom without making too much noise. I think I better teach her how to read Human… but now I am curious about that potion… He thought to himself as he made his way to deck, having not heard the moans of a mixed Keidran and her human lover.
