A Night in Reese Manor

"Ugh, stupid dares... why did I have to come here?!" The voice was like the wind around, loud and inconsequential. It blew down the rocks in great howling gales, even as the owner of the voice walked up the path. He stopped, just a few moments from his destination, and looked around.

It was one of those nights you see in horror films. Rainy, dark, and cold, with the dead trees rustling and shaking under the might of the storm, it was almost far too stereotypical, considering his destination. Almost all life around the area was dead and gone, though there was no cemetery here thankfully. Huge rock walls lifted up on either side, hiding away the home nestled in the very bosom of the earth from prying eyes. Finally, his gaze fell from the roiling night sky and focused on that place he was supposed to be.

Reese Manor. As the name suggested, it was once home to a prominent family named Reese. Though the tragedy of that family's demise wasn't one soon forgotten, because it was such a simple mistake made. A campfire left too long had sprung out of control, consuming the entire family, from the eldest to the youngest, essentially snuffing out the line and family name for good.

A sigh emerged from the otter's lips as he stood on the front porch finally, looking at the blackened and destroyed beams around him. It was luck alone that it was kept standing, as the inner working of the house had been done in stonework, rather than a wood frame. So despite being so dilapidated, it was a stable house.

Lee Jameson was his name... and well, nothing was his game yet. Fresh out of high school, he'd started college just last fall and yet here he was in the dead of winter, facing down the house of legend. Nothing was scary about it... he was sure that even with his slight frame on the flooring, he'd have collapsed the entire building. But it was holding, alleviating the doubts he'd held that every freshman had stayed here a night... or only lasted until midnight, when the ghost was said to come.

And the proof was evident, especially on the tough guys that went in and came running back out. Almost always, their clothes were torn and they were afraid of anyone's touch for a few days. No one ever though anything of it, just that it was the curse of the house to bring down the 'strong'.

It took a while to pluck up the courage, but finally Lee's paw closed around the once golden doorknob, black with soot and neglect, and twisting it with a slow click. The door swung open, creaking the whole way, and he stepped inside, ensuring the door closed and locked of his own accord and not some malevolent spirit's.

He set down his knapsack, looking around inside of the ruined home. Everything and anything that wasn't above the door frame was black with ash and soot, setting a very gloomy feeling about the house. But an untouched frame with an old black and white picture still remained. Even as the picture drew his gaze, he found himself walking over to it and picking it up reverently.

Showcased in the ruined frame was a family, typical of the 1900s, looking wryly or sternly into the lens of the camera. A tall father, a mouse of some kind judging by his ears, stood alongside a rail thin mother, also a rodent of some variety. Three kids stood in front, a teenager, a younger child probably no more than eight, and worst of all... an infant, no more than maybe four months of age. All shared dark colored hair, with lighter colored fur, and the elder children and father all had their ears pierced at the top. He sighed, setting down the frame back in its place and walking back to his bag... which wasn't there.

"What the hell?" Were the only words to spring from the otter's mouth before he looked up, surprised to see his bag hanging from the chandelier. With some effort, he managed to get it down, perplexed as he was to how it got up there, he paid it no mind as he pulled out his supplies. A sleeping bag, two bottles of water, and a few sandwiches were all that would accompany him tonight, along with a flashlight and a few batteries. The crinkle of plastic was all the insurance he needed as he opened one of the sandwiches, biting into the tuna gratefully.

The house creaked and the storm raged, but Lee sat in his place atop the sleeping bag, waiting for that mythical time of midnight to strike. Thankfully, he didn't have to wait long, as the alarm on his cell phone went off the moment he finished his sandwich. Standing up, he looked ready to confront any and all ghosts, even if it was just with his flashlight.

A tug on the flashlight startled him, and the otter fought for control of it, before it was suddenly ripped from his paw. Lee watched in startled... no, absolute astonishment, as the flashlight floated up and over the stairway rail, a light giggling noise seeming to accompany it as it disappeared down the hall.

"H... Hey! Get back here with that!" He shouted as he ran up the rickety stairs, feet thudding on the ground as he followed the beam of light left by the flashlight. When it disappeared around a corner, he was sure he had the floating light cornered... but when he looked around, it was gone. Only three rooms were on this floor, adding in the stairway to the third floor and attic of the house, and there wasn't much of a puzzle as to where it went.

Just beyond the doorway, there was the light flickering on and off, followed by more giggling. Lee stopped, his paw shaking on the doorknob before he just decided to get it over with and fling the door open... to find nothing. The flashlight was resting on the bed, no sign of whatever had been carrying it. The otter sighed, putting his hands to his temples and rubbing. This was getting weird. First the pack and now his flashlight... what else would be growing wings this evening? He picked up the light and waved it around, making sure he'd missed nothing in the room, then walked out and down the stairs again.

When he saw his stuff was just as he'd left it, he breathed a sigh of relief and settled down again on the sleeping bag. "Ugh... what else, tonight?" he said to the room, lying back on the pillow he'd brought with him. Another sandwich was produced from his backpack and eaten, his whiskers twitching as his emerald eyes scanned the room. Several creaks and groans came from the old house, but nothing seemed out of the ordinary anymore, not after his flashlight decided to fly away.

He sighed and lay back on his sleeping bag, letting his eyes close as he clicked the flashlight off. "Well... nothing wrong, nothing happening... so much for this being a haunted house!" The otter scoffed, brushing his mouth free of sandwich crumbs as he relaxed.

But his confidence wavered when a door slammed upstairs, followed by one after another, seeming to go down the floors one by one. The last one was the kitchen, which slammed shut and this time there was an audible click as the lock turned. Lee bolted upright, eyes darting around as he tried to pick out whoever it was from the dim glow of his flash light.

Just barely he saw the outline, a young mouse of at least seventeen or so... only he was floating above the ground, his house clothes tight around his lean form. His hair was swept back, kept immaculately in place by some kind of oil and an earring glinted in his ears.

"Who... who... who are you?" Lee stammered, holding the flashlight's beam on the mouse as the rodent floated in front of him. The ruby eyes that contemplated him were haunting enough, but the smile that held to those lips were creepy as well.

"Umm... I forget! I think my name was... Micah. Michah Reese!" He smiled broadly before floating over to Lee's knapsack, opening it up. "Hmm... aww, usually the guys bring some magazines or books with them. I like to read those..." The mouse seemed to pout for a moment, sitting cross-legged in the air.

"Reese... you were one of the Reese siblings that lived here?" Lee managed, a light seeming to flash over his head as he walked over to the picture. "Which of these kids are you?"

The ghost blinked, but floated over obligingly, his red irises scanning the picture carefully as his tufted tail flicked behind him. Finally he pointed at the elder of the siblings. "There, that's me. I think Papa wanted us to look fancy that day, and I just wanted to be out of the itchy knickers." He smiled and floated away, laying down on his back in mid-air as he passed right through a chandelier.

"So... what's it like?" The otter asked, even as he moved under the ghost, smiling a bit as he lay on the sleeping bag.

"Hmm? Oh, the dying thing? Yeah, a few of the braver kids asked me that... well, it wasn't pleasant, that's for sure. Least, what I remember anyway. I dunno why it was just me here when I... I guess, stayed over. I probably had some regrets, but it was never anything I could figure out." The kangaroo rat smiled a bit as he flipped over, contemplating the otter. "So what about you? You haven't just fled the building yet, so something's keeping you here."

Lee shrugged a bit at the question, giving an awkward smile of his own. "Oh, I dunno. I guess I just wanna get to know what it was like for you back in the day. Is it fun being a ghost?"

"Eh, a little bit. I can't leave the house to go elsewhere, but I can go anywhere I like in it. And as I said, I know today's events because of the magazines some of the people brought." Micah smiled wide as he floated down further, pulling open the otter's backpack again.

"I noticed you have some sandwiches... not to mention just a few necessities. What were you going to do about the bathroom, though? Our chamber pots burned in the fire, too. And we didn't have a lavatory in the house either." The kangaroo rat said, looking inside the bag. "Plus you don't have any books at all..." He noticed openly, dumping the contents to the floor.

"Well... I was going to go to bed, should there be nothing here to see or do. But you stole my flashlight, so I decided to stay awake for a little while and see what happened." Lee hesitated for a moment as he looked at the rodent, having to admire his butt just a bit... no, that was silly. He was a ghost... with a cute butt. Already, he felt his cheeks burning, glancing away when Micah's gaze was drawn back by another creak from the house.

"You'd think I'd be used to all the creaks and stuff, but... well, hee hee. I guess I'm not. Anyway... hmm?" He stopped, noticing that Lee's gaze was averted. Quickly he floated over, looking the otter in the face, giggling when he saw the blush.

"That face reminds me of momma when papa said something sly about her bosom... Are you perhaps thinking of a woman dear to you?" He smiled, sitting cross-legged in front of the otter.

"I... umm... well, I wouldn't have a girl dear to me... I'm uh... that is..." He hesitated again, finding it hard to tell it to the ghost in front of him, face shining with mischief.

"Oh, you're gay? That's okay, I was too when I was alive." The kangaroo rat smiled. "It's why my earring is in the opposite ear of my father's. We came from an open community in Switzerland, actually. The gay males would have their ear pierced opposite of their father's, to show their lack of desire to breed." The rat flipped upside down, grinning from ear to large ear.

"Y... you were?" Lee smiled weakly, the blush growing on his cheeks. "That's a bit of a taboo issue for your time, isn't it? But I suppose since you're dead, you can't act on it anymore..." The otter smiled weakly, tilting his head to the side when the kangaroo rat just giggled again.

"But I have! All the boys that ran out of here without their clothing before now? I took them off of them!" The giggle that came from the mouse was cute enough that Lee laughed along with him, smiling brightly.

"Ahhh... we all wondered why they didn't say who did it! So, that was you all those times?" Lee grinned, looking the mouse in his... stunningly bright ruby eyes. For being nearly see through, he was rather handsome and cute, especially his innocent features.

"Well... there were a few that did it willingly. But I decided to keep their secret for them, so don't ask about it. Promise me you'll keep my legend alive?" At this, the mouse looked genuinely concerned, his face almost pouting.

Lee nodded softly, gently trying to pull the mouse close. He was surprised that, despite the chill that ran up his arms, the mouse was easy to grab, letting himself be pulled into the otter's lap. "I promise, Micah. I'll just have to say that the mouse stole my clothes as well."

Micah started at this, looking at the otter. Questions seemed to be written into his face, but Lee just shushed him as he stood up. Slowly, all of his clothes were peeled away from his wet body, piling them over on the floor as he watched the mouse's reaction. Initially, it was one of shock, then it slowly grew to one of adoration. Those ruby eyes, so pretty glinting from the dead mouse's eyes, watched as first the shirt was tossed aside. The otter's bare chest was lean, but muscle rippled under the surface as he drew his pants aside.

All that were left was the otter's boxers, but there was a soft squeak of "Stop..." when he started to pull them off. Lee was distracted for the split second it took for Micah to float closer to him, his cold fingers gripping around the waistband. The rodent gulped faintly before yanking the clothing downward, revealing the otter's sheath.

"Y... you're big... for... for your size..." Micah whispered, hushedly. That ghostly tongue ran over his lips as he floated back up to eye level with the otter, smiling cautiously. "I... I umm... do you mind... if I touch? I know my hands are cold but... I can do so much with them... if you want." The mouse, once so brazen, was quickly proving to be quite shy as Lee stood naked before him.

"No, I don't mind... but let me get in the sleeping bag, it's cold in this house." He whispered, as if the situation called for tact, especially in what was essentially a burial ground. The kangaroo rat just nodded once, his clothes seeming to disappear in a small puff, though he looked smaller for it. Lee lay down, getting into the covers and opening the side for the mouse to slide in alongside him.

Micah followed the cue and lay down on the ground next to the otter, their lips practically touching. It was no surprise that in such close quarters, they couldn't help but let their lips meet, both exceedingly careful with one another. Lee gasped a bit at those icy lips, still so supple even in the mouse's death that it was astonishing that he was over 100 years old...

Hand suddenly gripped at each other's side, Lee surprised that his hands didn't just slip through his ghostly lover. Eyes closed as they enjoyed each other's company, chest to chest, body to body... it was passion flowing through them, meeting in that kiss with such force that it set Lee's head to spinning.

There was no doubt that it would be a pleasant night here in Reese Manor... something that was proven as Micah's paw slowly slipped down to Lee's groin, brushing along the surface of his slowly peeking shaft. The kiss was broken as the otter hissed softly, the sheer temperature difference surprising, but... amazingly welcome. He lay his head back, letting those cold digits wrap around his member, spectral fur brushing over his very corporeal shaft.

"I admit... I was never brave enough in life to go all the way... and in death I remained the same..." Micah whispered mutedly, his rouge eyes drinking in Lee's obvious enjoyment. "I hope you let me do at least this..."

Lee just gave a slow nod at the hinted question, giving a sharp gasp when Micah's fingers drifted inside of his body. That iced grip was powerful as the fingers pushed on his prostate from the inside, practically milking him from the inside out! The feeling was absolutely incredible; there was no other way to describe it other than pure heaven.

There was no time for the otter to warn of the coming eruption, because the pure feeling coursing up and down his spine was too much for him to last. Heated droplets of pearl spurted forth from the shaft that those glowing white fingers wrapped so tenderly around, the seed landing anywhere between Lee's belly and his chin, some managing to work their way up to those points.

And the afterglow was so warm, leaving the otter begging for more and more, but he breathed slowly, trying to calm himself as those fingers drew out of his body. Ice crystals clung to his stomach fur, and a few of those drops of sperm were flecked with chilled ice... but it didn't matter.

Micah giggled sweetly as he ran a chilled finger through some of that, giving it a gentle licking and chittering at the bitter, but salty taste. "It's... it's just as some of the boys used to describe... so salty but... it's absolutely incredible to taste. It's like the very essence of the man who owns it... and yours is sweet, sweeter and more bitter than tea mixed with honey..."

Lee just smiled at that. "Y... yeah. It's amazing stuff. I never knew that a ghost could do something like that... but... I wonder if that's all you can do?" Lee grinned broadly, his short nose wriggling with mischief now.

"What do you mean? You've came, haven't you? Doesn't that mean that you... you are..." The voice trailed off as he looked down, seeing the flesh still erect. "You... you are still hard? But... the fellows said that most would be done with one!"

"They didn't have stamina back then, my dear mouse... most males can manage two a day, now." He smiled. "I wonder... if you are still a virgin after all these years... do you want to lose it?" Lee smiled sweetly, pulling the mouse back against his form.

"Y... you are offering... to take my cherry?" The mouse squeaked, looking quite shocked and intrigued, barely managing to conceal the glimmering excitement in his eyes. "But... your shaft would be cold inside of me and... I'm not too sure what would happen..."

"I don't care. No one should ever have died without experiencing delight, and no one should remain a ghost without having experienced it once." Lee gently rolled them over, so he was on his back, with the kangaroo rat straddling his waist and his spectral tail end pushing right against his member.

"If you are sure... I trust you, Lee." Micah smiled softly, his eyes showing nothing but trust as he slowly lifted himself up. Slowly, gently, he lowered his body down, squeaking softly as that shaft stabbed between his cheeks, holding for a moment. "I... it seems even in... in death it hurts the first time..." He joked, laughing drily.

The mouse seemed to take a deep breath, then pushed himself down all the way without a second though, leaving both of them groaning in mixed levels of delight. Both seemed to stay still for several, long, stretching seconds, gazing into each other's eyes with deep passion melting between them. Finally, the mouse seemed to feel comfortable enough, drawing himself up on high only to spear back down on the pillar nestled in his shade of a body.

There were no words exchanged as Micah settled into his rhythm, taking his time with it all as both moaned. The kangaroo rat's eyes closed as he rode atop the otter's hips, bouncing in place as his tail lashed behind him, tufted tip brushing Lee's toes. They were both locked in those pleasant throes, even as Micah squeaked in sudden bliss. Iced goo leaked from his ghostly shaft with the force of an orgasm, even as he moaned in delight. His tailhole rippled and squeezed at the cock nestled within, trying to draw the otter in along for the ride as well.

Lee seemed stubborn, trying to keep himself held back as that pressure rushed through his stomach, but finally he just gave in. The sharp bark noise that came from him drew a weak little giggle from the kangaroo rat before the hot seed spilled into his bowels, drawing another moan from him.

Lee was quick to pull out once his orgasm was over, slumping under the mouse as he shivered faintly, pulling Micah in for a kiss. They shared in their delights and their passion, neither caring that they were getting messy with one another's seed.

There was something to be said about that night in Reese Manor. Some would say that Micah finally moved on afterwards. Others might say that Lee freed the shackles that kept Micah bonded to that house. The only thing for sure was that afterward, wherever Lee moved, there was a rash of jocks and people mean to the otter were found in compromising positions.

But that night, there was only love. The world of living and dead had come together, and found that passion didn't know the limits of even the void of death and life.
