After finishing up another delivery to the Hopps family's produce stand, Gideon made his way back to his home. He hadn't expected to see Judy while he was there. She really didn't deserve all the trouble he put her through, and apologizing made Gideon feel a lot better too.

As he finally pulled his van into the driveway of his home, he shut off his car, got out and locked it before making his way inside. When he did, he spotted Travis, his grade school friend and roommate. "Hey there, mah fat little ferret. Doin' alright?"

Travis, who had been on the couch watching TV, turned to look to him. The ferret had put on some weight in the last couple years, mostly due to Gideon's cooking. It wasn't as much as his fox friend, but he wasn't as thin as he used to be either, hence the nickname. "Doing good, Gid. Thanks. How'd the delivery go?"

Gideon walked over and plopped himself down on the couch beside him. "Everythin' was fine. Nothin' outta the ordinary, except fer the fact Judy was there today."

Travis looked to Gideon and raised a brow. "Oh?"

"Yeah. Ah guess she was feelin' bummed out over somethin'. Didn't quite understand what it was though, and even Mister and Mrs H didn't quite follow what happened, but it gave me the chance ta apologize fer all the trouble Ah put her through."

Travis nodded. "Well, that's good at least. How'd she take it?"

"She was actually really nice ta me. When we started talkin' about the Midnacappa... Middacampa Hola... Holi..." He shook his head. "The Night Howlers that Mister H uses fer keepin' bugs away though, she got all excited and left. Somethin' about her havin' been missin' somethin' and me mentionin' mah family callin' em Night Howlers helped her."

"Well, that's good, isn't it?"

Gideon nods. "Ah guess is is, even if Ah have absolutely no idea why the name made any difference."

Travis chuckled. "Anyway, I'm glad things worked out so well, Gid."

"Yeah, me too. Anyway, ya feelin' hungry at all?"

"A little yeah," Travis nodded as he rubbed his belly.

"Pizza good with you?"

"Sounds great."

Gideon got on the phone ordering a couple pizzas with some breadsticks and soda. He then turned to Travis. "So... whatcha wanna do while we wait?"

Travis look at him. "I'm good with just about anything. You should know that."

Gideon chuckled. "What was it ya were watchin'," he asked, seeing the credits on the screen."

"Just random stuff on TV. Nothing really good on," Travis said with a shrug.

"Ah see no reason we couldn't watch a movie or somethin'."

"I like that idea," the ferret replied. He reached over, grabbing the remote before handing it to the fox. "You pick."

Gideon took the remote and flipped through a couple channels until he found one they liked. He then put the remote back down before he turned toward the TV.

As the two watched the movie, Travis noticed Gideon occasionally shifting on the couch. This often happened when Gideon was nervous about something, but the ferret couldn't help being curious as to why. "You okay? You're fidgeting a bit over there. Something wrong?"

Travis didn't get his answer though, because, a moment later, there was a knock at the door.

"Bet that's the pizza. Ah'll get it," the fat fox commented as he got up and walked over. He opened the door and paid for the food before shutting the door and setting it down on the table nearby. He then walked over to one of the cabinets, pulling out a couple plates, handing one to Travis as he walked over. He then grabbed a couple slices of the pizza and a few breadsticks before sitting down again on the couch.

Travis did the same then looked to him. "You didn't answer my question, Gid. Everything alright?"

"Ah'm fine," the fox commented, after swallowing the bite of pizza he had.

"You sure? You don't squirm around like that unless there's something on your mind," Travis pressed.

Gideon looked to the ferret then sighed. "Ah... Ah don't really know, ta be honest. Ah've been feelin'... Ah dunno... Weird since Ah went and saw Mr H today."

"Ya think it may have been because Judy was there?"

Gideon rubbed his neck. "Ah dunno... Ah don't think so though."

"Why's that," Travis asked.

"'Cause it's not the first time mah mind's been racin' after deliverin' ta him," Gideon commented. "It's happened several times."

"Has he does something to upset you?"

Gideon shook his head. "Nah. Mister H has been really nice ta me. Ah don't think Ah've had a single problem with him since we started workin' together."

Travis rubbed his chin in thought for a moment. "Hmmm... have you ever noticed him getting nervous around you?"

"The only times Ah've ever noticed it are when Mrs H or her kids ain't there and he's runnin' things himself," Gideon told his friend.

"But when they're around, he seems okay?"

"Ah think so... Honestly, Ah don't pay too much attention ta it most days 'cause Ah usually have other stuff ta do at the pie shop, so Ah have ta hurry back."

"Gid... do you like him?"

"What kind of a question is that? Ah just told ya he's been really nice ta me. Been that way fer quite some time now," Gideon replied.

"That's not what I meant, Gid... I meant... Do you think you... you know... have feelings for him?"

Gideon's eyes grew after hearing Travis' words. "That's an even stupider question, Travis. He's married."

"You didn't answer my question."

"What difference does that make? He's ma..."

"Do you have feelings for him," Travis repeated, cutting off his friend.

Gideon looked at Travis in silence after that point. His mind was racing again now. Shifting in his seat, he thought about the question for several moments. He had to admit, the attitude the elder rabbit had toward him had changed in the last several months. Gideon already knew a large part of that was because of Judy, but there was one thing that still stunned him. Stu had been the one to help get his pie shop up and running, and the rabbit had become quite adamant about being the one to provide the ingredients for the pies he made.

"Well?" Travis looked at him.

"Ah... Ah think.... Maybe... Yeah," Gideon replied.

"That wasn't so hard now, was it," Travis gave Gideon a smile.

"Ah still don't see why that matters. He's married. He has kids. Even if Ah do have feelings fer him, Ah could never express 'em. Ah don't wanna mess up his marriage, or the friendship Ah have with him."

"Gideon, I highly doubt you expressing yourself will change anything," Travis told him. "It might help take the pressure off your shoulders."

"But what if he yells at me. Ah really would prefer not ta get hit with that taser again. Ah still have nightmares about when he shocked me when Ah was younger, 'cause of me gettin' hungry and swipin' some of his berries."

Travis shook his head. "He won't do that to you again."

"How do ya know that," Gideon asked.

"Because he sees you differently now in comparison to how he used to." Travis put a paw on Gideon's shoulder. "I'm your best bud, Gideon. I can tell when there's something going on with you, and you're never gonna feel better if you don't talk to him about it."

Gideon sighed, feeling defeated. "Alright, alright... Ah'll ask him. But if he says he doesn't wanna work with me anymore, Ah'm blamin' you."

"That won't happen just based on you saying something. It's how it's handled that might lead to problems."

"What are you talkin' about," Gideon asked, as a confused look came across his face.

Travis stood then and pulled Gideon to his feet. "Go on. Go talk to him."

Gideon's eyes grew. "What? You mean right now?"

"No time like the present."

"Ah don't think this is..." His words were cut short by Travis now nudging him toward the door. "Hey! Cut that out!"

Travis stopped and looked at him. "Do you trust me?"

"There ya go with the stupid questions again. Of course Ah do. But that don't mean Ah think this is a good idea," Gideon said with a sigh.

"Nothing bad will happen. I promise," Travis assured him.

"Ya can't promise that," Gideon replied.

"Just go, Gid. Trust me."

Gideon sighed again and walked to the door, opening it. "Ya better be right about this. Ah really don't wanna lose the friendship and trust Ah fought ta earn."

Travis just made shooing motions to get him to leave.

Gideon walked outside, shutting the door. "Ah don't think Travis has ever been that pushy before..." He commented as he walked to his van. "Ah just hope he's right." He then climbed in and made the drive back to the produce stand.

Several minutes later, as he pulled up to the stand, he noticed that Stu was now there manning the stand himself. This was usually the case as the day went on. With another sigh, he turned off his van, climbed out, shutting and locking it before walking over. "Mister H?"

Stu looked up from the basket of carrots he'd been adding to. "Oh! Hello again, Gid. Was something wrong with the stuff we gave you? You don't usually come by more than once."

The fox shook his head. "No. Nothin's wrong with what ya gave me... Ah just... Ah need ta talk ta ya about somethin', and, ta be honest, Ah'm really nervous about it." Gideon shifted on his feet.

Stu nodded and sat down. "Come have a seat."

Gideon walked over, sitting in the chair Bonnie usually sat in when she was there working.

"What's on your mind, Gid?" Stu looked at him with a smile.

"This is gonna sound really dumb..." Gideon rubbed the back of his neck as he spoke. "Do ya like the fact we work together?"

Stu raised a brow at the question. "Of course I do. You're one of the best bakers around, and I feel a great sense of pride that I've helped you with that."

Gideon gave a nervous chuckle. "Yeah... Uhh... Would ya say we've... Ah dunno... gotten closer as a result of it?"

"I'd like to think so. I consider you part of the family," Stu told him.

Hearing the word family made Gideon even more nervous than he already was. "Thanks, Mister H. That means a lot ta me."

Stu nodded. "Of course... Was that all you were worried about?"

"Uhh... yeah, kinda..." Gideon shifted in his seat again.

"You're lying, Gid..." Stu said, bluntly. "If that were true, you wouldn't still be shifting around like you are. You can talk to me. I won't get mad."

Gideon didn't speak again though. He just froze up.

"Gideon? Hello?"

"Please don't let me regret this..." Gideon said, feeling a lump in his throat.

"Regret what," Stu asked.

"Please don't hate me fer this..." Gideon stood then, pulling Stu to his feet without another word. He then gripped the straps on Stu's overalls, pulling him close as he pulled the rabbit into a kiss.

The quick movement caught Stu by surprise, but he made no attempt to pull away.

Gideon cringed. "Uhhh... Ah... Ah'm sor..."

Stu raised a paw to silence him. "Relax, Gid. I'm not gonna hurt you."

"Yer... not?"

Stu shook his head. "Nope. To be honest, Gid, that was the most enjoyable kiss I've had in quite some time."

Gideon looked stunned hearing those words. "What... What did ya say?"

"I said I enjoyed that, Gid."

"But.... what about yer wife?"

Stu rubbed his neck now. "Gid... We divorced several months ago."

Gideon frowned. "What? Why?"

"We don't get along as well as we used to. There's no spark there anymore," Stu told the baker.

"But... what about all yer kits?"

"We still live together, and I still take care of all my kits. Just because we're not married anymore doesn't mean I'm going to abandon my family. I love all of them. The only thing that's changed is we're not married anymore."

Gideon's frown worsened. "Ah sorry ta hear that. Ah had no idea."

"Very few do," Stu told him. "It's not something we talk about publicly."

"Is that why Mrs H isn't always here?"

"Part of it. This produce stand is actually mine. Bonnie just helps me out. She doesn't so much mind the gardening, and, in fact, finds that enjoyable, but she doesn't like waiting out here in the sun all day long."

"Oh... uhh... Ah see..."

Stu nodded. "Yeah, plus, when we're both focusing on the stand, it makes it hard to keep the little ones from getting too crazy. One of us usually has to stop what we're doing to make sure they stay out of trouble."

"Makes sense, Ah guess..." Gideon remarked. "Still, Ah'm sorry ta hear things ain't goin' as well as they used ta."

"It's okay, Gid..." Stu smiled. He then reached down grabbing a sign, which he then hung off the front of the stand, which read 'CLOSED'.

"Mister H... Is everythin' okay?"

"Yeah. Everything's fine. Just feel like closing up the stand for the day," Stu told him.

"It's the middle of the afternoon though. What about yer customers?"

"They'll be fine for the day, Gid. I have something more important I need to do."

"Ya do? What's that," the fox asked.

Stu lifted up the basket of carrots he had and headed toward his car, putting the basket in the back seat, closing the car door, then turning back to Gideon. "Come with me, Gid."

Confused, Gideon followed as the rabbit took him to a tall red barn nearby. "Uhh... okay."

Stu opened up the door to the barn and gestured for Gideon to enter. When he did, Stu followed, closing the door behind him and clicking on a light that hung down from above.

The barn had several bales of hay and bags of fertilizer, as well as several other farming tools.

"What are we doin' in here exactly," Gideon asked.

"Gid... I want you to repeat what you just did out there," Stu told him.

"Huh?!" Gideon looked surprised again.

"You heard me. I mean, I'm not going to force you to, but I know you enjoyed it just as much as I did, and, in here, we have privacy." Stu smiled. "Bonnie never comes in here."

"Yer.... Yer right.... Ah... Ah did enjoy it," Gideon admitted.

"Did you wanna do it again," Stu asked.

"Ah.... Ah do.... Yeah," Gideon blushed. "Yer sure this is okay?"

"I'm sure," Stu said with a nod.

Gideon shifted on his feet again before walking up to Stu, taking hold of him again and giving him another kiss, this time being even bolder and making it much more loving.

Stu was much more relaxed and let himself enjoy the kiss. When the kiss was broken, Stu just smiled again. "You're a pretty good kisser, Gid."

Gideon blushed again as he let go of the rabbit. "Yer... a really good kisser too. But.... Yer old enough ta be mah dad. Why are ya even lettin' me do this?"

"Age is just a number. What's important is what's in here," Stu said as he placed his paw over Gideon's heart. "And from the spark I just felt, I'm willing to bet you've wanted to do that for quite some time."

"Ya felt... a spark... from me?"

Stu nodded. "I did..."

"C'mon... Ah'm nothin' special. Ah'm just me." Gideon couldn't help smiling at the words the rabbit spoke though.

"I wouldn't want you to be anyone else, Gid. Who you are is what makes you special."

Gideon's smile grew. "Thank ya, Mister H..."

"Gideon... stop calling me that. I told you already you're more than just a friend or a partner. You're..."

"Family," Gideon said, finishing his words. "Ah know..."

"Just call me Stu, okay? I know you were never comfortable calling me that before, given our past incident, but things have changed a lot since then."

"Ah suppose yer right, Mister.... Ah mean... Stu..." Gideon gave another nervous chuckle. "Ah'm gonna have ta get used ta that."

"Take all the time you need... Now..." Stu looked him in the eye. "I'm only gonna ask you this once... Are you attracted to me?"

Gideon smirked. "The kiss didn't tell ya that?"

"Answer the question," Stu said with a smirk on his own face.

"Yes... Ah am... Very much so."

"As am I, Gideon. I don't know if you've noticed, but whenever we've been alone in the past, I get nervous much like you were today," the rabbit told him.

"Ya didn't seem all that nervous today," Gideon commented.

Stu shrugged. "I was staying more focused on helping you, so I wasn't thinking about it too much..."

"So... what does this mean fer us exactly," Gideon asked.

"Gideon..."

The fox looked at him nervously. "Y... Yeah?"

Stu pointed to the crotch of the overalls the fox was wearing. A very clear tent was seen.

Gideon almost immediately panicked. "Oh no... Ah'm sor...."

Stu silenced him with his paw once more and stepped back a bit, showing his own tent. "Shh... It's okay, Gid.. Just... follow your heart."

Gulping nervously as he looked into the rabbit's eyes, he nodded. Gideon very slowly undid the top of Stu's overalls before doing the same to his own.

The entire time, Stu did nothing to resist or stop Gideon, and just waited with soft smile.

Gideon reached over and rubbed the rabbit's belly. "Yer fur... feels really soft.

Following the fox's lead, Stu did the same to Gideon. "So does yours."

"Ah've always tried ta keep mah fur lookin' nice." Gideon continued rubbing, slowly stepping forward.

"It shows," Stu commented, slowly backing up as Gideon stepped closer and closer. When Stu found he could go no further, owing to a hay bale blocking his path, he fell onto it.

This seemed to be what Gideon was going for as he leaned over Stu, who was now on his back on the bale of hay. Gideon then slowly began kneading the rabbit's belly with one paw, using his other to keep himself steady.

Stu blushed at this briefly before letting out a moan, feeling his cock twitching in his overalls. "Mmm..."

"Stu?"

"Shh... Follow your heart, remember?"

Gideon went quiet and nodded. His paw slowly moved down Stu's gut until it was just inches from the tent in the rabbit's pants.

Stu just gave him a gentle nod.

Gideon's paw moved down, resting on the tent, giving it a squeeze.

"Ohhhh...." Stu moaned out.

Gideon gave it another squeeze as he felt the rabbit's tent twitch. After doing this for a minute or so. He backed off. "Stu... Can Ah..."

Stu didn't speak. He simply nodded and got to his feet, allowing his overalls to drop to the ground. The rabbit wore nothing underneath them so Gideon's eyes were met with the rabbit's rock hard erection.

"Can't believe Ah'm actually doin' this."

Stu smiled, finally speaking. "Show me what it's doing to you," he said, pointing to Gideon's tent.

Gideon nodded. He stood up straight, allowing his own overalls to drop. Not only was Gideon rock hard, his cock and knot were twitching quite hard as well.

Stu then walked over to a tarp nearby, grabbing it and draping it over the bale of hay he was on so he didn't have to feel the hay beneath it. He then laid back on it, gesturing for Gideon to come back to him.

Gideon made his way back over to the rabbit, until he was on top of him once more. Feeling his cock brush against Stu's, the fox moaned out. "Ohhhh..."

"Cripes, that feels good," Stu remarked. "You're quite thick there, Gid."

Gideon blushed a bit as he started to hump against Stu. "Mmmmff... Thank ya.. Ah like how yers feels too." He began panting and he grinded against the rabbit.

Both Stu's and Gideon's erections began oozing precum from the stimulation.

"Gid?"

"Mmfff.... Yeah?" The fox gasped out as he felt Stu's paw take hold of both their cocks. "Aah...."

Stu moaned out. "Mmmmm... How's this feel?"

"Mmmrrr... Wonderful." Gideon began bucking in Stu's paw. "Ah don't think.... Ah'm... gonna last much longer."

Stu grunted as he stroked them faster. "Then.... mmm... Let it out, Gideon."

"Ah'm... Ah'm gonna.... Gonna.. AHHHH!" He thrust forward once more, as his cock fired his load in several ropes. The cum shot up Stu's belly and chest, only just missing his face.

Stu came in that same moment, blowing his own load. "AAAAH!" The seed splattered against his belly along with Gideon's.

Gideon blushed hard, panting heavily as his orgasm subsided. "Did we... really just..."

"We did," Stu answered. "And I loved... every minute of it."

"Me too..." Gideon climbed off Stu, helping him to his feet.

"I'm glad... We can do that again anytime."

"We can?"

"Mmhmm... if you would want to, that is." Stu reached over, grabbing a cloth nearby to wipe the cum out of his fur. He then handed Gideon one to clean up with as well.

"Ah'd really like that." Gideon cleaned his fur off. "Ah wonder if Travis knew..."

Stu raised a brow. "Travis? Knew what?"

"Well... he kinda got it outta me that Ah was feelin' nervous when Ah came by earlier. And when he pressed me on it, he got me ta admit Ah had feelings fer ya. But then he insisted Ah needed ta come and talk ta ya about it. Wonder if he knew ya were divorced."

"Your friend Travis is a pretty smart man. He found out about it a month or so after it happened, after one of the deliveries ya brought him along for," Stu told him.

"Ah wish he had just told me that. It would have saved me a lot of trouble."

Stu shrugged. "Well, at least now you know."

"Hey Stu?" The fox started to look nervous. "Ah think.... Ah think Ah..."

Stu looked at him. He knew what the fox was going to say, but he wasn't going to force the words out. He just stood there smiling.

"Ah think.... Ah love ya." Gideon muttered.

Stu stepped close, placing a kiss on Gideon's lips. "I love you too, Gid. Now... how about we make things official and go on a date."

"A d... date?" Gideon gulped.

"I'd like to... if you would be interested."

"Ah'd love to, Stu. Very much."
