Autumn Fire
I look up at the night sky, and know that you're up there watching me.
And as I walk down the streets I'm safe because you're always watching over me.
One of those stars up there is you, but not sure which one to tell the truth.
Somewhere up there in the starlit heavens you're waiting for your dark vixen.
I walk along the autumn scene, leaves everywhere glistening.
The morning dew sparkling brightly, like the sparks of neurons keeping my heart flowing.
Yellow and red like miniature fire, like the wings of a bird soaring up high.
What I wouldn't give to be with you, there isn't much that isn't on that list.
And as the blood drips from my fangs, all I can think is "where are you?"
