Just a short story about a unicorn mare who runs into a very bad dragon...

I figured I should upload some personal art and stories, since I am nearing nearly 100 chapters of my main novel "Fates of the Unicorns"

My personal avatar DT has always been a dragon with some mind control and hypnosis powers ever since I started writing and RPing so many years ago. The more 'herd like' a species is, the easier it is for me to control them. But I can even break down a strong-willed predator if I keep them prisoner and take my time. Physical contact helps, as does biting them with neurotoxins that can render mental protections useless.

In this case, a brave and haughty unicorn wanders a bit too far from home, and her inexperience costs her dearly.

After the story comments...

I haven't decided what I'm going to do to her once shes back in my lair. Will she spend the rest of her life as a blissfully mindless horse, or will the dragon let her recover from her hypnotic state, and instead use his mind-control abilities to turn her into something else entirely? A proud unicorn forced into humiliating obedience? A brainwashed unicorn mare, happily and willingly serving her Master? Corrupt her mind, making her eager to lure more of her kind to be enslaved? Keep her in bondage and use her horn as a magic battery? She's mind to mold to my will now, so anything at all is possible...

Yoriara strode confidently through the trees, swishing her long and beautiful tail back and forth as her four golden hooves made made satisfying muffled sounds on the moss covered forest ground. She had been told not to wander from the safety of the plains, but she was the biggest and strongest of all her sisters and had nothing to fear from any creature. The urge to wander had called to her ever since she was a filly, and now that she was an adult she was determined to explore. Besides, what better goal could there be than to bring the beauty and wonder of a unicorn to lands that had never seen one?

She swished her horn about as she looked in wonder at the tall trees and deep shadows, knowing her curves and pure white hide must look stunning in contrast. She twisted her head back and smiled at the view of her flank, white and gold set against the dark of a large tree. Exactly as stunning as she had imagined.

A noise made her head swing back around, ears targeting a soft crunching noise, the sound of sticks snapping and branches rustling. "Who's there?" she called out in a melodic voice, gracefully turning to weave among the trees and seek out the source of the noise. She had seen plenty of animals in this mornings explorations, but this sounded different, it's gait unusual and unfamiliar. Her eyes peered inquisitively as she pushed through several large brushes, and stopped to stare as she finally laid eyes on the source of the noise.

A two legged dragon was standing among the trees, looking right back at her. She watched his head tilt and turn, feeling his gaze sweeping over her in a way that made her shiver. He wore some sort of cloth around his waist, and a sharp gleaming blade on his hip, the rest of his bronze body uncovered from the clawed tips of his toes to the white bone of his horns. She gave a soft snort at the sight and whickered, stomping a hoof. She had been told that two-leggeds were trouble, always cutting down trees, building strange things, hunting animals to wear. Dangerous she had been told, but had never seen one before now. They were so small, hardly a threat.

Still, if her regal presence made this forest far more magnificent, then ridding it of this two-leg would improve it even further. "Your kind is not welcome here, begone!" she said with a majestic swish of her head, her golden made reflecting the beams of sunlight that streamed through the branches above her.

"Oh, you're a feisty one, you will do nicely. And such a big mare" said the dragon as he stood his ground, much to Yoriara's surprise.

She lowered her head with a glare and stared at the dragon, "Leave, now" she commanded! The sharp tip of her horn tilted down to aim right between the dragons green, glittering eyes. Eyes that stared right back at her, sending a shiver down her long spine, making her tail give an involuntary twitch. She blinked slowly, shaking her head to try and clear the sudden fuzzyness that seemed to be slowly filling her head. Her eyes continued to track the dragons, locked to them as if there were a physical connection, her head shaking less and less as that pull grew stronger.

"Go... leave... uh... here..." she said in slow, stuttering words. Where did she want him to go again? She narrowed her eyes in concentration, trying to remember. Away. Go away. She opened her mouth but forgot her train of thought before she could speak. More shivers ran down her spine, and a tingling twinge in her horn brought her partially out of the fog, her horn warning her of danger. She took a shaky step backwards, something was wrong. "Stay... back..." she managed to get out as the dragon was suddenly closer even though she hadn't seen him move.

"Easy, girl..." said the dragon, lifting a hand, his eyes gleaming with a soft, gentle green glow.

The unicorn mare halted, a sensation of relaxing warmth flowing over her at the words. "Uhhh... stop..." she managed to get out before her voice failed her again. The sensation of danger slowly faded even as she struggled to hang on to the feeling, her vision slowly filling with a calming green glow, the world around her turning dark, leaving nothing but those piercing, glittering eyes. She felt as if her hooves were slowly lifting from the ground, her body floating, her thoughts gently fluttering away in the warm breeze of the dragons gaze.

A hand gently pressed to the mares forehead, the dragon fingers gently glowing in soft green as he sent waves of hypnotic energies into the unicorns mind, the green glow penetrating her skull, bathing her brain with the mind-numbing sensation.

"Nrrrgh..." was all the unicorn managed, feeling the warm green glow flowing into her head at the touch, washing away her thoughts, her desires, her very will. Her eyes drooped, but remained locked on the dragons, feeling waves of calmness flowing from the hand on her head, taking away her thoughts, and his eyes letting his commands slip into her emptying, compliant mind. Her teeth clenched as she struggled helplessly, the only action she was still capable of taking, her body frozen in place.

"Bow..." came the word, the sounds rushing into her half-empty mind, her brain soaking up the command like a dry sponge.

Her body trembled, her legs weak as she tried to fight the command, but she had no energy, and when she tried to summon her will to resist, she found nothing. Her gritted teeth slowly relaxed and bit by bit she lowered herself down, head tilting to keep those eyes locked on his as she bowed down onto her forelegs, her mind sinking with her body until there was nothing left but glazed over eyes, and no thoughts behind them.

"Yes... thats a good, obedient horse" he said soothingly. The mare said nothing, not reacting with anything but calm acceptance to the insult, a unicorn would never stand to be called a mere horse. But she wasn't a unicorn. She was a horse. An obedient horse. She gave a soft whicker.

When the dragon broke the gaze, Yoriara simply held her pose, breathing softly as the dragon began to give her an inspection, hands running over her soft hide, petting her face, touching her horn. The hypnotized mare calmly stayed still, feeling the touches but not responding, her mind simply experiencing the sensations with no thoughts, only the most base emotions still existing. She complied as her tail was lifted, nickered again as she was explored and touched, sometimes shivering from the soft caresses, but never saying a word, or thinking a thought.

Satisfied, the dragon mounted the kneeling mare, settling over her back and gave her a softly spoken command, "Rise." He held on as she got to her feet, standing and looking blankly forward as she heard the next command. "Walk".

Hooves moved of their own volition, the mare walking forward, turning as directed, eyes only focused enough to watch were to step, her mind ignoring the trees and light that grew steadily darker as she was taken deeper into the forest.

...

Yoriara walked, and walked, and walked. She was having a nightmare, trapped in a dimly lit place, something monstrous on her back, and she couldn't wake up. She felt a twinge of fear, a single thought rising up into her blank mind, fear. Just as soon as it was there, it was gone. Walking. Walking. She blinked and gave a snort, eyes opening slightly, wanting to shake her head of the cobwebs but the thought drifted away before she could act. She continued to walk.

The nightmare was back. Dark. Walking. Something heavy on her. Touching her. She stumbled, slowing and then stopping. Her entire body shivered and she struggled with all her might, trying to climb her way up from her sleep-like trance, trying to shake off the nightmare of being a horse. That horrible dream that she had been turned from a gorgeous unicorn into a dull horse. A sudden icy thought suddenly pierced the haze filling her mind. She wasn't dreaming, this wasn't a nightmare. "Hnnng... uhhh... help.." she stammered, trying to fight off the nightmare of being a horse. An obedient horse. She's a good horse. No... she's a unicorn! With a supreme effort of will she tried to buck the dragon off her, the pathetic result only managing to make him wobble.

"Look at me..." said the dragon from behind her. Memories of glowing eyes came back to her and she squeezed her eyes shut, feeling her head turning and forcing it to stop. "Ngggh... no..." she managed to say, wanting to throw her head back and stab... something... she groaned as her thoughts seemed to flow out of her head like water off her mane.

"Look. At. Me."

Any remaining thoughts were blown away at those words as the unicorn swayed with the effort to resist, but her thoughts were still weak and scrambled from the mind-wipe she had suffered only hours before. She felt her eyes begin to open, like invisible fingers were prying them open, her head turning as if a powerful hand was pulling on it. She fought, struggling but it was so HARD. She was to TIRED. And the command was so POWERFUL. She felt like she was trying to lift a mountain on her back, and failing as she was slowly crushed. Her head turned back, her eye opening and looking up at the dragon riding her. She gasped as their eyes made contact, those green dragon globes glowing with power, a visible waving line of power joining their gaze, and minds.

Waves of helplessness flowed over her as her eyes were locked, feeling the dragons will pressing down at her. She fought as hard as she could, and then shuddered as his hand settled against the side of her head, just behind her horn. Waves of familiar, mind-numbing power flowed into her again, washing her thoughts away. She was a sandy beach, waves lapping and washing over her, smoothing out every imperfection, erasing her thoughts even as she struggled to form them. Drool slowly leaked from the corner of her mouth, slowly running down her chin. The dragon placed his other hand under the hinge of her jaw, fingers gently glowing.

Yoriara's eyes rolled up as her brain was immersed in the gentle calming power flowing from the dragons hands, like green sunlight flowing through her head, burning away the shadows of her thoughts and leaving nothing but an empty glow.

His will flowed into hers, his words hitting her like electric shocks. "You. Are. My. Obediant. Horse."

She didn't even say yes, horses didn't talk. Horses obeyed. Her head slowly returned to stare mindlessly ahead as the dragon released her. Her hooves began to move once more, and she walked. Step by step, floating along in a calm, thoughtless existence. She felt his weight, heard his commands, felt the wind, smelled the forest. All these sensations simply passed through her, her world the peaceful existence of a simple observer, obeying without hesitation or thought, gliding through the forest like the good horse she was.

...

It was harder to wake up the next time, the nightmare seemed to go on for days, becoming aware of the nightmare of being a horse for only moments before slipping back into her thoughtless trance. Only her horn's healing energies allowed her to fight off the control at all, slowly encouraging her neurons to begin firing again. Recharging her drained will, slowly brining her back bit by bit. It took longer, but the panic when it came was even stronger, her steady pace broken by occasional stumbles as she fought against the overwhelming weight of the smothering blankets draped over her mind. She gritted her teeth, groaning as she tried once more to throw her rider off. All that happened was her tail twitched, her hooves continuing to walk steadily as she was ordered.

The mare moaned as a tail much more powerful than hers reacted to that twitch, her body trembling as she felt a smooth tailtip gliding between her legs, teasing at her sex. The violation was something the mare had never experienced before, an unwanted touch THERE would send any unicorn into an instant range at anyone who dared to touch her in such a way. But all she could do was moan and protest weakly, not even able to speak a single word, her language still only a fuzzy, hazy blur. Her body trembled as she was teased, and then she heard the words she dreaded, bringing back the ONE memory that was still sharp in her mind. "Look at me."

There was no resisting this time, she simply obeyed, wanting to scream and run but only whimpering as she gazed into those glowing eyes, felt the touch of his hand, and then wanted nothing at all as her mind simply evaporated at the dragons commands. "Good horse..."

...

Days passed, the time between her struggling to consciousness getting longer and longer. The repeated brainwashings taking their toll on her mind, even her horn's magic unable to do more than slow the process. She had lost the ability to even realize how far from home, and any help she was. Her eyes simply took in the strange landscape now, a tall mountain rising from a thick forest. Climbing. All these sights and wonders simply being experienced, following orders, no worries, no needs, no thoughts of her own as she simply existed and obeyed.

Nearing the dragons lair she stumbled, shaking her head, blinking in confusion as thoughts began to emerge one last time.

She was having a nightmare. A terrible nightmare. She struggled and came to a stop, huffing and whinnying to try and shake off the terrible, unsettling dream.

She had been dreaming she was a unicorn.

Her head turned to look at the dragon on her back, sighing as the calming light of his gaze washed that horrible nightmare away, letting her slide peacefully back to her new reality.

She was a GOOD horse.
