Chapter 9: Unwanted Hairy Side Effects

"So did I pass your test?" Toby asked the Elder.

"Yes, I'm very pleased with your performance" Jean said eagerly before he cleared his throat. "Now then, I'm going to have to fast track Zoe and Your training for a very important mission"

"Mission?"

"Yes, as you've heard already from Terry. Penny was not turned into a werewolf by him. I have spoken to her, and she has claimed to have been approached by someone afterschool and solicited her that if she wanted to become popular and gain the strength to stand up for herself, she would have to take a drug and only once. She was given a syringe filled with werewolf saliva. She did not know Terry was a werewolf before, and Terry didn't even notice her until after. He assumed she was always was one until her parents called him about all the changes she's been through.

He told her what she was becoming the night before her first transformation. He offered her a safe place to go to, and he even transformed in front of her. She got scared and broke up with him. When she disappeared, her parents told him what happened, and he had to tell them. Marty has been over to their home consoling with them since we found their daughter. They have agreed to have her help us track down the person who gave her the syringe" he said.

"Aren't you able to track down whoever it is by testing the DNA of the Virus?" Toby asked.

"We tried, but it only causes more questions than answers"

"What do you mean?"

"The strain belongs to Ian!" Bernie shouted.

"What? Are you serious!? Isn't he locked up!?" Toby shouted.

"He still is...that's the troubling part. We only know the strain, not how they got it or the extent of it" Jean said abruptly.

"Who's Ian" Sasha asked

They all paused not wanting to speak of him, but Jean finally broke the silence. "Ian is a member of the O'Conner pack. His is an unfortunate case. He was the survivor of a brutal slaughter of his entire family by Hunters. I took him in under my wing. Although I've taught him better, the seed of hatred was already planted. He ambushed the folks in Champoeg trying to save their town from a floor. He took part in very horrific and gruesome attacks on wagon trains along Barlow road, but we would have never figure it out until we caught him kidnapping vagrant and nobodies into a network of tunnels. We found the tunnels, and the women were turned into werewolves and raped. They would remove the mens' shoes and scatter broken glass onto the ground, put flames against door knobs, and put fish hooks dangling off pipes all while getting things pitch black. They would use them to feed the females. I've never seen something so disgusting and twisted in my life" he explained.

"Oh my god, that's terrible. What happed to the female werewolves that you've rescued?" She asked.

"Most took their own lives, I know of one who found a loving husband" he said before he looked towards Bernie.

Zoe and her brothers looked at their father in shock. "Dad? I thought you said you met mom at a diner?" Terry asked.

Bernie took in a quick deep breath and sighed trying to hold back his emotions. "I did, but...she's been through a lot. I helped her escape an abusive boyfriend and did not have a lot of people to turn to. When she disappeared, I went to that tavern. I could hear her muffled screams underneath the floorboards. I called the best toughest wolves I thought I could trust: Steele and Ian. Ian told me that my obsession in finding her was making my making my mind play tricks on me. Steele told me about hearing strange out of place voices when he visited other bars, so we broke into that tavern the very same night. Steele took an axe to the floor boards, and we discovered a new underground.

We found your mother locked in a cell the size of a cupboard bound and gagged. She told me a man spiked her drink, and the same man brought her down here and bit her. Her description matched that of Ian's. I knew after that day who I could trust. Steele fought off all those wolves and took bullets for me, a man I only knew for a year. Then the man I knew all my life...my mentor...the alpha, kidnapped and raped the woman who would become my future wife then forced into becoming a werewolf" he said before he closed his eyes tearing up slightly.

Terry looked down at the ground in disgust. "This man is the reason why Penny is..." he muttered clenching his fist.

"That's real fucked up" Zoe added.

"Indeed...I am counting on everyone not to recognize you or Toby. You two have been through so much growth and maturing that anyone who last saw you for more than a year will be in for a shock. I'm more concerned about Terry jeopardizing the mission" Jean said before he frowned at Terry.

Terry scowled at him and growled. "What do you mean?" he raised his voice.

"You're letting your emotions cloud your judgement. This was just as much a test for all of you not just for Toby. You are all Gamma in training, and I want to know who is ready for this kind of mission. I'm sorry, but I can't have you as a part of Toby's group" Jean said lowly.

"Toby's group!?" Terry screamed he balled his fist up and snarled.

"Listen, you are not being pulled from the mission completely. I know how much Penny means to you, and they hurt her. Just trust us, when we make the roster. She will be taken care of" Bernie said.

"What am I supposed to do!?"

"We will let you know when the time comes" he said before he sighed sympathetically. "What's more important right now is that you help Penny adjust to her changes. It's what I did for your mother. She needs you more than ever. If you can help her gain some control of herself before the next full moon, it will make things easier" Bernie said as Terry slumped over in defeat. "Well!? That's an order!" he raised his voice as he crossed his arms over his chest.

Terry stood up quickly and stared at him in shock. "Now?" he asked.

"Go! Now!"

Terry gulped and took off through the forest. He reached a large rock up against an outcrop of bedrock. He pulled the rock back and unveiled a cubby hole holding their backpacks. He reverted to human form and pulled one out. He took his clothes out and quickly got dressed and slipped his shoes on and dashed on towards Penny's house in the little town.

She was locked away in her trashed room sitting on top of her ripped up mattress. She was a very pretty dirty blonde girl with an athletic pear shape build. She was leagues behind Zoe in the muscle department but she had shape, but it was clear she lost a lot of weight from being turned into a werewolf as she was not the same cubby girl in the shattered picture frames on the floor.

When Terry arrived, he could tell her parents were terrified to even set foot into her room. He did not hold it against them, but at the same time, he felt bad for Penny being treated like a leper. He could hear her sobs as he walked down the hall. When he turned the knob, she growled lowly, but she was relieved seeing his silhouette in the doorway.

She leaped out of the bed still crying, and she threw herself into him clutching up onto his sides just under his armpit digging her nails into his flesh slightly before burying her face into his chest and moaned softly very happy to smell his scent. "I don't want to break up with you...I'm so scared" she mumbled into his chest.

Terry embraced her and sighed. "It'll be okay" he spoke softly. He started to rub her back tenderly, and her grip loosened. After a couple minutes of back rubs, she settled down and sighed happily. "Better?" he asked.

She looked up at him, and her lip quivered. She got onto her tip toes, and he leaned down to give his girl a smooch. She ran her fingers up his jawline and started to rub behind his ears. "Yea" she said before he brushed his hand against her hip as he walked over to her destroyed bed and sat down on it. She shut the door behind her, and he said the claw marks on the door. "Aren't you worried that I might lose control of myself?"

He smirked and patted a spot beside him. "Nah, you've kind have already done that with me during sex. It's fine. I'm built for that kind of stuff. It's no big deal babe" he said calmly.

She giggled with big smile as she jumped back onto her bed facing towards him with sparks in her eyes. "Well you know, you were quite the animal yourself" she said while stroking his stubble.

"Feh, it all makes sense now don't it?" he asked as he took his shoes off.

She blushed and nodded with a smile. "Yea...I wonder why I liked it so much. There's a little wolf inside me who just needs to be...dominated" she said before Terry looked at her growling through his throat seductively. She squealed when he grabbed her and pulled her back onto the bed getting on top of her still growling as he pinned her down looking into her eyes intensely. "What are you doing!?" she shouted nervously.

He could hear her heart start to race, and he started to transform into his wolfman form and began baring his teeth at her. "Dominating you" he said while he leaned in and began gnawing at her neck before he had his fangs over her throat. She tensed up knowing that her arteries were vulnerable in that position. He applied pressure but it was not enough to break the skin, but her body tingles and lightning shot up her spine.

She reached up stroking his back and smiled. "Mmmm, Terry...I just can't...not when my parents are here..." she murmured.

He pulled away and chuckled to himself. "You don't want to make up and make out with your boyfriend?" he asked.

She bit her lip before she pouted at him. "Terry..." she muttered reaching around to grab onto his sides. "I want to, but I...I dunno" she said.

"What does the wolf inside you want?"

"Oh, well she to have you to ravage me" she said before he leaned in starting to nibble her all over while growling.

"Let wolves be wolves...your parents won't be able to understand your needs like I can. If they walk in on us, that's their own damn fault" he said before he started smooching her while fondling her breast. "I'll promise nothing will happen to you" he said.

Oh fine...just promise me you'll keep me from going out on a rampage again" she said before he laughed at her.

"Babe, if a male and female werewolf are together during this time of year...hunting, or going on a rampage as you call it, isn't the first thing that comes to their minds. It's to make babies" he said before she put a hand over her belly.

"Is that why I feel like I'm burning inside? Cause I'm in heat?"

"That's awfully early especially for a thrall" he said before she started screaming.

"Argh! It's getting worse! It's happening again!" She shouted as her voice morphed.

"Oh yea, waning full moon is tonight..." he mumbled. He watched her grow fur and turn into what would best be described as a female version of the wolfman. She growled at him, and he kept her pinned to the ground. She reached up caressing the side of his face, and he leaned in grooming the side of her mouth with his tongue before she pulled him in invading his mouth with hers.

Penny's parents heard the screaming and opened her door horrified to see their daughter transformed again devouring her boyfriend's face. He looked back at them with werewolf slobber stringing between his mouth and hers. "Well! What is it!? Can't you see I'm busy here!?" he roared.

"My poor baby..." her mother muttered.

Penny growled at them irritated, and Terry got up rushing to the door. "She's fine. I have everything taken care of. She won't be leaving the room so much as I'm in there. Just go and make dinner and watch game shows or whatever you, humans do" he spoke to them firmly. Penny jumped on him wrapping her arms and legs around him and biting into his neck ferociously.

Her unfortunate parents did not know what to think. Terry's stern look did not change obviously not in any pain before he sighed. "Actually a good meal would sound really good right now"

"Doesn't that hurt?" her mother shouted in alarm.

"Feh, It's just affectionate nibbling, she's not harming me" He said before she stopped biting him and nuzzled her chin into the nook of his neck whimpering softly while rubbing her cheek up against his wanting his attention. "Really, this is what we do. Don't panic to every strange nose. All she wants is just to be loved right now" he said before he started to close the door.

He sighed heavy and looked over at his shewolf snuggled up to him as happy as a clam murring softly into his ear. "Comfortable?" He asked. She nodded slowly and sighed into his ear muttering something under her breath.

"Mine!"

He went over to the bed and sat down, which she started nibbling on his ear and clawing at his chest. He murred and closed his eyes smiling feeling himself grow into the mood. He then realized something, and he shouted out, "Shit!"

"What's wrong?" she asked gruffly into his ear.

"I forgot my rubber"

She took in a deep breath and sighed. "Don't worry about it...it feels better without it" she said before she let go of him and pushed him back pulling down his sports shorts before she gave his member a good lick. She stood up and began stripping herself of all of her clothing before she climbed on top of him giving him another werewolf kiss.

He looked at her cautiously after their lips parted. "You'll get pregnant?"

"Isn't that the point?" She asked while running a claw down his chest.

"I'm not ready for pups just yet..." He said before she laughed at him.

"Oh, I think you're ready big boy" she said before she sat on his lap and started grinding her hips against his.

He stopped her hips and scowled at her. "No, I can't"

She growled at him and grabbed his hands trying to take them off her. "You know I'm on the pill right?" she asked. He blushed and she snickered at him grinding her hips into him. "Come on! What do I have to do to get you to come inside me?"

He grinned. "I want you to get on the floor on your knees and beg!" he told her in a dominant tone.

She did as she was told and whimpered looking up at him with longing. "Please! I need it!" she said. He sat on the edge and spread his legs, and she began to lick him between his legs.

"That's it. Lick it clean" he told her.

After an evening of deep passionate painful love making, Terry spent the night sleeping with Penny cuddled up to him pleased with her wolfman. The dawn's early light poked in through her curtains illuminating her bed first. She was first to rouse from her slumber and luckily she was back in human form. She turned to her boyfriend who stayed in his wolfman like anthro form with his legs sprawled out while his mouth hung open exhausted from the full moon activities.

She thought it was cute how he had one of his hand like paw over his massive chest while his other arm was wrapped around her claiming her as his girl. She turned towards him rubbing her feet up against his trying to warm them up while she used his bicep and pectoral as a pillow. She spent a decent part of her morning petting him and admiring his form.

Her fears of what she had become had subsided now seeing what a werewolf was like when it was not a full moon. He was just a person with lupine attributes and needs, and as she lowered her rubbing to his belly, her hand brushed something that needed attending to. As he stretched, she gripped onto his morning greeter and started massaging him.

He groaned and squirmed as she started smooching him on the lips. He returned her tokens of affection with a deep low growl and grabbing the back of her head and pushing her into a deeper kiss. She was taken by surprise before she pulled back gasped for breath. "You're awake?"

"Too comfy" He muttered.

"Is it okay if I..." she asked before she blushed. "Take care of that thing between your legs?"

"Knock yourself out" he muttered.

During her solo act, there was a hand that swatted the bedroom window startling her, which she fell back and tied the knot between them. "Shit! I'm stuck!" she shouted feeling vulnerable.

"Mmmm, just relax" she sat up and looked through the curtain. It was Zoe holding a backpack and a set of clothes. "Hey! Get up! You're going to miss school you turd!"

Penny groaned and slid open her window. "What are you doing here? I'm not going to school" she muttered before Zoe laughed at her.

"You're cute...if Terry doesn't go to school, dad will have him pulled from the team, so unless you want to be without him for 9 hours, I would suggest you go too! Nuff Said" Zoe said with an evil grin. She sniffed the air and plugged her nose. "Holy shit! Are you two having unprotected sex? Jez, I surprised you ain't knocked up yet!"

Penny growled at her. "I'm on the pill, Zoe! Butt out!"

"Oh yea? Are you on the human pill or the werewolf pill?"

"What the fuck is the difference?" Penny snapped before her heart started to sink.

Zoe pulled out a pamplet and pointed at it. "It says here that human pills don't work as good on werewolves...you need something at higher doses!"

Penny was horrified and looked down at where she was tied. "Then that means...Fuck! Get it out of me!" she shouted. She pushed off him and she was not budging, and Terry grabbed her hands and gripped onto them tightly.

"It's already too late. Let's just hope you aren't ovulating yet" he said.

"Psh, I can't believe how stupid you are! You didn't tell her?" Zoe shouted.

"I thought she meant she was on a werewolf pill" he raised his voice.

"Well how the hell is she going to get a hold of one if she's been hiding this from everyone until now!?" Zoe shouted back.

Penny was in tears. "Please stop! Terry told me it was a bad idea...I was the one who talked him into it! Are you happy!?" She shouted. She put her hand up to her belly and sniveled. "I guess this is my punishment for killing all those people. Saddled up with werewolf spawn" she said.

"Meh, I think there's a morning after pill for werewolves" he said rubbing her back.

"Tch, That shit is experimental. It says the best it can do is keep you from having a litter"

"A litter!?" Penny shrieked.

"Well duh? You didn't think not having your period for eleven months didn't have its drawbacks? We have large families for a reason" Zoe said starting to gain a sick sadistic joy seeing this girl suffer.

Haley stomped over and growled. "What's the deal? You're going to make us late!"

"Hey! guess what? Penny is having unprotected sex with Terry! And she's on just a human pill!" Zoe told her hoping to get a massive reaction out of her.

Haley did not flinch and rolled her eyes at her. "So? They're eighteen...I don't care what they do. Terry's a big boy. He can take care of a family of his own" she said.

Zoe got very annoyed with her. "What!? But they are still in school! What happened to aiming high and all that bullshit!"

Haley rolled her eyes at her. "She's not going to get pregnant...The snows haven't even come yet. We've only been pushing for males to wear protection because they don't just mate with werewolves. Sasha is a holster, and she goes into heat in the spring time. Just stop causing drama" she said.

"You mean I'm not going to get pregnant?" Penny asked.

"When the snows come, nature will start calling you. You'll know when you're in heat. It's different from arousal. Being in heat is like every time you see a pregnant woman, pups, pictures of them, or just hearing baby cries causes you physical pain and sadness. You'll get aroused more often and in situations that you wouldn't normally get turned on in...it's literally a month of hell for us if we don't have a mate. So, just keep that in mind once the snows come, because you're going to become one thirsty girl" Haley told her before she headed back to her car.

"Where are you going?" Zoe asked.

"I'm dropping off Toby's stuff off at Sasha's"

"Him too!?" Zoe shrieked.

"Why are you so worried about him? I thought you had a boyfriend?"

"Well, uh...he's not really a boyfriend, but...he's kind of at the vet right now" Zoe said.

"Wait, that Levi creep? He's been unconscious the whole time"

"I know, I'm going to have so much fun fucking with him when he recovers" she said.

Terry sat up getting onto his knees and let out a heavy sigh as he poked his head through the curtains. He reached over to pull off the screen before Zoe threw his clothes and backpack in through the window. "Here take it! The bus is going to be here soon! I gotta get to class, dude!" she shouted before she took off.

Penny blushed on her back looking up at him embarrassed seeing themselves still stuck in a knot, and her hips were above her head meeting his. "Um...I'm sorry. I'm just really scared. I'm not ready to be a mama wolf just yet"

Terry looked down at her and smirked. "Are you okay with having a wolf inside you?"

"Well, uh...I think I'm okay with it as long as I'm with you. I can't believe that you kept me in my room the whole night" she muttered looking around her room. It looked like it were more trashed than before, and she blushed. "Why don't I remember doing any of this?" she asked looking at the claw marks on the floor and on the bed.

"Eh heh...I had you howling last night practically"

"What do you mean? Is that bad? Did I wake up the neighbors?"

"Heh, naw...usually when things get wrecked is when the sex is getting good. You do like it rough...don't you?" he said which she blushed at him.

"I can't afford to keep replacing my stuff!"

"Do it outside then...It's not my fault you claw at things when you orgasm"

"But, aren't you afraid I'll take off if I'm outside?"

"Nah, I think your wolf sees me as a mate by now. You'll be sticking close to me for a long time"

She blushed and ran her fingers over the claw marks in her mattress. "The sex was kind of good...I don't remember it fully, but I do remember what I felt. Um, can you come visit on the full moons more often?"

"Um, that's the plan. Either that or pack some of you clothes in my room, right?" He asked before he reverted into his human form. He tried separating themselves, which he was getting some movement but it was extremely slow. "Hey! Relax! I can get it out when your tensed up like that" he told her.

"Egh, I don't know"

"Well, let's at least get some clothes on"

She stared at him in shock. "You're joking right?" she muttered. He shook his head and grabbed his shirt. "Terry, how are we supposed to get dressed like this? Shouldn't we shower first?"

"There's no time. It's not hard. just do what I do" he said before he scooped up his clothes. He was able to get all his clothes on asides from getting his pants and underwear pulled all the way up. He pulled out a fragrance spray and stuffed it under his shirt masking his werewolf musk.

She reached over for one of her dresses strewn across the floor, and she patted at Terry's chest trying to gain his attention of what she was after. He reached over and grabbed her dress, which she pouted at him. "I was going to get that" she complained before she smiled taking it away from him. "Thanks, though" she mumbled.

Terry was able to stand up and they separated from each other, and he blushed noticing she was a dripping mess. "Uh, maybe you should take a shower..." he said as he pulled his phone out. "We got thirty minutes"

She glared at him. "Thirty minutes!? I thought you said we didn't have time!?" she shouted.

"Well you gotta eat don't you?"

She growled at him and threw her dress into his face as she stood up. "Really!? Is that all you can think of? Just food!?" she shouted.

He looked at her confused after he removed her dress from his face. "Uh, yea...you mean you aren't hungry?"

She blushed and crossed her arms over her chest. "Don't put this on me! We can snack on the bus for all I care" she retorted.

"Do you forget how much we eat? I wouldn't have enough room in that dinky little backpack. I'm a full grown wolfman!" he grumbled.

Later that day, during lunch, Terry was sitting out on the bleachers at the football field as it started to sprinkle outside. He had a huge buffet of KFC spread out enjoying the peace and quiet from the hustle and bustle of the student body. He was soon joined by Penny who looked starved and she clutched her stomach in pain as she climbed up the bleachers. "Aren't you cold?"

He looked at her strangely and shook his head. The sprinkles started to turn into rain, and Penny sat next to him touching his arm and gasping. "How are you even warmer than I am?"

"Cause I'm a male?" He answered before he held out a drumstick.

"How fast did it take you to go from here to KFC?"

"Thirty seconds"

"What is this a whole family meal?"

"Yup"

"Is it really okay if I have some?"

"I bought it for us silly"

"Oh thank you! You have no idea how hard it is going through all these changes" She said before he cleared his throat, and she looked over blushing. "Well maybe you do. Is it weird that I went straight to you after all this happened?"

"You mean you weren't attracted to me before you became a wolf?" he asked before munching on a biscuit.

"Well, no, I just thought I'd have a chance. There's so much more prettier girls out there than I am. Those cheerleaders kept freaking calling me a pawg and thunder thighs. Everyone started calling me that...I just wanted to change myself and...then this happened" she said.

He handed her a container of mashed potatoes and gravy, and he sighed. "I get it...trust me" he said before he laughed. "I guess you now know why I haven't really gotten serious with any of the girls around here"

She laughed taking the container. "Oh yea, cause of the werewolf thing. Heh, I guess this is the only good thing out of this I suppose" she said.

"Heh, everything will turn out alright in the end, you'll see. The important thing is that you try what I do to handle my lycanthropy. It'll make things more manageable. It may take getting used to, but you know...this kind of life isn't so bad. It's actually easier with you around"

"Really? How?" She muttered munching on another drumstick.

"I guess the easiest way to explain it is that you know...wolves do better in packs. It's harder for a lone wolf to get by than it is for two. Before I was always getting anxious, depressed, and lonely, but now you're here, I can let my guard down a little. I don't have to deal with other kids trying to hook me up with a date or having to explain why I won't date Caitlyn or Molly or Stacy. I'm worried they'll find me out...but yea with you around they won't pry into my personal life. I like being around you...I don't have to put up an act. I'm just me...my wolf me" he explained before he heard a commotion going on next to the baseball field.

He stood up looking over towards a large maintenance/storage shed. A group of Sophomore students were bullying a Freshman boy tossing his lunch back and forth playing keep away. "Come on! Give it back!" he pleaded.

"Heh heh! Come on! You gotta jump higher than that pretty boy!"

"No! Higher!"

Their leader chucked it onto the roof and laughed. "Aw, too bad...Now you're going to have to jump even higher" he said before Terry ran up behind them and gave him a big shove.

"What the fuck are you doing?"

"I'm teaching this Queer a lesson! I've seen him staring at the guys in the locker room!"

"You stare at me all the time in the locker room...like what you see? We all know you're still in the closet" Terry commented.

The others laughed at their leader before their leader laughed mockingly then suckerpunched Terry in the chest, which he just took it and watched the boy's fist crackle like rice krispies, and he screamed out in agony grabbing his knuckles. Terry laughed at him puffing his chest out. "What kind of pussy punch was that?" he said.

"Fuck you!" The boy shouted as he started to walk back down the pathway with his friends staring at him in shock.

"Terry! Heel boy!" Penny shouted as she hurried up and tried to break up an impending massacre. She stared the other boys down coldly. "You should leave before my boyfriend snaps every bone in your body" she said placing her hand firmly up against his chest.

After they turn and ran, the freshman boy looked up at them depressed. "Thanks, but...you didn't need to do all that. They are just going to get you in trouble. He's the high school quarterback after all"

Terry leaped up onto the roof and retrieved the boy's food. "He's a real shitty quarterback. That's why he's JV" he said.

The boy stared at him in disbelief watching him jump off twelve feet and not injure himself. "H-h-how are you physically able to do that!?" he muttered.

"I'm just athletically gifted" Terry remarked.

"Terry is the varsity quarterback. He's a much bigger beast than Wes is" Penny said.

"You must be totally ripped!" The boy said.

"Well, he's just big...you should see the rest of his family. They are literally monsters" She joked.

Once the boy took his food, he looked up at them happily. "Man, I'd bet" he said before Terry started moving back towards the bleachers. "Um, thanks...My name is Zack by the way" he said.

"Well, I'm Penny and that's Terry over there. You might have heard about everyone talking about, Scary Terry. That's him...my boyfriend" she said.

"Okay, okay, I got it...he's yours" Zack said nervously watching her rush up to her man and huddle up against him. "Holy shit he's huge" he muttered. He huddled up against the shed away from the rain and started to eat. He glance back towards the bleachers and saw Penny laying on her side nuzzled up to his belly with her arms wrapped around his trunk while Terry binged on the last of the family meal he bought. He could have sworn she was either rubbing her nose up against him or biting him. "What a weird couple" he muttered, but he let it pass as they did help him after all.

The bell rang, and the two of them got up and bolted across the field. Zack did not even hear the bell from that distance, and he looked at his phone as shot up. "Oh shit! I'm late!" he muttered. He grabbed his things and took off. Terry and Penny both overtook him like he was just standing still. "Oh snap!" he muttered before he started piecing things together. "They can't possibly be human" he concluded.

A sketchy kid in a black hoodie showed up from behind the brush and trees. "Want to know how Penny got her powers?" he asked.

Zack looked back at him nervously. "Powers? What are you talking about?"

"You want to get back at those bullies don't you? You know they will ambush you" He said before he pulled out a syringe filled with a red gel like substance. "It's Wolf's Blood. It gives you the power, senses, and prowess of a wolf" he said.

"Uh...thanks...but...no thanks" He said before the teen stuffed it back into his pocket.

"Well, in case you change your mind...I'll be out here" he said before he creeped back into the shadows.

"That was fucking weird..." Zack muttered.

During the day, Zack was contemplating taking the drug. He thought about Penny and Terry, and he leaned towards taking it. He found Penny in the halls and stopped her.

"Hey, Penny...what do you think about wolves?" he asked.

She stopped in her tracks and looked panicked. "Uh...why?" she asked.

"Well, I was just asking. They gotta be really powerful right?"

Penny looked away very uncomfortable with the situation. "Um, yea...and...impossible to domesticate" she said with a shaky voice while taking a couple steps back.

"Do you like it?" he asked.

"Huh? Um...look I gotta get to class" she muttered before she darted off.

"I know your secret!" he shouted, which she only ran faster panicked.

After school, Zack got ambushed by the JV Quarterback and his goons. He got shoved to the ground and they started kicking him and stomping him. "You see that! Your guard dog won't save you now! Fucking Fag!" he shouted.

Zack curled up in the fetal position wishing for the beat down to end. He cried and begged for them to stop. Terry ran in and clothes lined two goons knocking their heads into each other. The quarterback ran off, and Zack ran off into the woods bleeding, bruised, and with torn up clothes.

"Hey wait!" Terry shouted.

"What's going on here!?" The principal asked standing over the two unconscious football players.

"Sir, they were curb stomping Zack...you think I was going to let them cause bodily harm to him!?" Terry asked.

"So you cause bodily harm to them?"

"They have already been warned. I've had a friend kill himself over this shit already. You're going to be on their side in this?" Terry raised his voice.

"They're only boys...you should know better" The principal said dismissively.

"Are you fucking serious!? You wouldn't be saying this if they weren't your star players...you're going to protect the coach's boy too!? They're all shit! I know two Freshmen who could play on FBS level maybe even NFL level!" Terry shouted.

"What your sister and that Toby kid?" The principal asked skeptically.

"Have you even seen them play sir? If you saw them instead of went by what the coach says, you'd see that he's just trying to shoehorn his son and his friends in"

The principal paused and raised an eyebrow with perked interest. "Bring 'em...We have a couple positions opened. You better not be blowing smoke, but if I see that they are good. I'll have them in Varisty. If the coach don't like it, he can find another job"

"Thank you, I promise that you'll have four more National Championships with them on the roster" Terry said proudly.

Meanwhile in the woods, Zack was on the ground passed out. When he came to, the kid in the hoodie hovered over him smirking. "I told you they would ambush you...you know...I could help you with your bully problem" he said before he brought out the drug.

Zack growled and flipped onto his back staring up at the tree canopy and the rain falling at his brow. "How long will it take for me to see results?" he asked.

"It should take about a month to see the most results. Sometimes sooner"

"One shot is all it takes right?"

"Oh yea...this will be enough to do the trick, but just remember, once Wolf Blood is in you, you can never get it out" he said waving the needle around.

"Just stick me" Zack shouted holding his arm out.

"Alright...you might be sore and tired after a while. Oh, and don't freak out if you experience any nightmares or shit like that" The teen said as he plunged the needle into Zack's shoulder. He felt burning and clutched his fist trying to endure it. "Go home and get some rest...you'll feel like a million bucks tomorrow..."
