Heat crisis
Ryn woke up to the sound of running water the next day. "Was last night for real? Did I really decide that I am a lesbian?" The red furred vixen puzzled still a bit light headed. "What good is it been able to shoot fire when it leaves me so exhausted, I may as well be your average Zoolonian" Ryn thought miserably. Then last nights events came back to her "hah who am kidding, at least Krystal wants a serious relationship despite the circumstances. And I must admit I feel a need for her as well.
Oh! You're awake finally" The dark brown Husky smiled. "I was worried that you would sleep the whole day away.
Blame that stupid ability of mine" Ryn grumbled. "Anyway, what time is it?
About 2 at sun decent*.
That ability of mine seems to take more and more out of me every time I use it, I guess I had better refrain from using it any more until the guys at the lab can come up with something to stabilize it.
Well maybe a bath might pick you up, I was going to have one but now you are awake I think you are in need of it more" Krystal remarked.
"Well I guess it couldn't hurt" Ryn smiled.
"Ooh, that does feel better" Ryn sighed sinking into the hot water.
"So Krystal, I would like to know a bit more about you if you don't mind" Ryn said.
But to her surprise she heard sobbing coming from the room. "Krystal are you okay?" Ryn asked slightly concerned sitting up in the bath.
"Sniff y-yeah it's just that..... I lost most of my memory when they captured me at that slave trade. I was told that when I was been taken off my parents tried to stop them but where killed in the process. I tried to fight back in my fury and was told that I had to be hit across the head five times before I let go of some ones arm that I had been digging my teeth into. Unfortunately we can see where that got me. Even Krystal is not my real name, they just named me that because of my light blue eyes. Everything of my past was either burnt, destroyed or erased to stop me from been tracked.

A minute had passed and rather then relax Ryn she was getting more and more turned on as the seconds passed.

"Nngh, I-I can't seem to turn it off" she said starting to panic as her flames started to set things on fire.
"this might help" Krystal said and threw a bucket of water over her, but it just instantly evaporated.
Meanwhile Tygon was trying to contact Ryn but with no success.
He was a handsome tiger about 6:5 in height a sunset orange colour with light green eyes. He is quite broad and muscular which was typical of his species, except he had his built up a bit from the norm as he was an ex-soldier and as of such did quite a lot of grunt work.
"Damn Ryn what the heck could you be doing" he muttered to himself.
Just then he saw smoke coming from a street. "Hey, wait a minute. That's the general direction of Ryn's. Oh shit if Krystal is still in there she will be roasted alive" and with that he dashed off towards Ryn's house.
When he got there he was surprised to see how much the fire had spread in the short amount of time.
"Damn it, looks like the guys back at the lab where right. I just hope I am in time" tygon thought grimly before going into the smoking apartment.
When he got to the second floor he found to his dismay that the door to her room was locked. Why of all times did you have to have the door locked now?" he thought in frustration. "Nothing for it, I will have to charge down the door. Right one, two three CHARGE" he screamed as he came barrelling through the door and into the inferno that was Ryn's room.
"Ryn, Krystal, where are you. In the bedroom" Krystal shouted over the noise, heat and choking flames.
Using the door as a makeshift shield to divert some of the heat away from him, Tygon made for the bedroom to see Krystal in the corner of the bedroom and Ryn on her hands and knees, barely keeping consciousness with her flame sapping her life away.
"Ryn here, the guys at the lab said that this was going to happen soon so they made a counter measure. You have to put these bracelets on your arms, legs neck and tail to suppress your fire. But only you can do it, no one will be able to get near you so pull yourself together.
I-I'll try" Ryn said just above a croak and shakily put the first bracelet on her neck, and felt the flames starting to recede. She then managed to get two on her arms and legs but had no more strength left to put the last one round her tail. Luckily the flames had receded enough for him to get the last one round her tail, and with that Ryn collapsed.
"Hold onto me Krystal we're going to have to make a jump for it". Tygon shouted.
"Rooar" he screamed as they hurtled through the window "Ugh" he grunted as he landed with the added weight of the two vixens.
"You alright Krystal. Krystal?" he heard her hit the ground as she fainted as the strain of the heat and smoke took there toll. Shit that's not good.
Suddenly a van came screeching up to them and two guys came out bearing a stretcher. "Good work Tygon, we'll take it from here".
Back at headquarters in the clinic Krystal was just starting to come round.
"Mmn, Tygon?" She asked confusedly.
"It's okay Krystal we're safe now.
Thanks" she whispered. "What about Ryn is she going to be alright"
Tygon's face went grim, "The medics and scientists are doing what they can but Ryn remains in a coma. It seems that unless something is done about her incomplete ability's even with those bangles suppressing her fire she will remain in a coma.
Sniff, no" Krystal said with tears in her eyes, "there must be something we can do. What about the bastard who did this to her, can't we drag him in and demand he put her straight?"
Tygon shakes his head "unfortunately it got away. And when I say it there is no other way of describing an abomination. It seemed like us in some ways but looked unfinished. We have a rough fix on the area it was last seen but would require a squad to go after the creature as he has mutants that it had experimented on as bodyguards, and the rest of the force is out on assignments and can't be called back for just to look for one thing.
NO!" Krystal shouted. NO, no, no this isn't right, I-I love her. I won't stand around seeing her slowly rot and die because of one creature's sadistic experiments. I will search for him alone if I must".
"Weell" Tygon said thoughtfully, if she means that much to you, and I must admit that I never abandon friends in need either, if you could stand to do a week of intensive training and be my apprentice then I guess I could bust out my old weapons and start looking for this wacko.
Oh Tygon" Krystal cried Hugging him fiercely, "yes whatever it takes we will hunt down this bastard and make him pay.
Then we have a long week of training ahead of us" he sighed. "And I warn you I will train you as hard as I trained Ryn.
Wouldn't have it any other way she smirked and with that they headed off to the training fields.
