An Anteronian Finale 2
#37 of Tik Tik in the Big City
With this post, the 2019 storyarc of Tik Tik has come to an end. This has been a real learning experience, and I have had a fun time making all these new characters and going deep into their pasts and building them up. Unfortunately, the finale didn't end quite as dramatically as I expected, due to some mental health issues I was having, but I'm looking to 2020 with a more consistent and more enthusiastic thing. I want to have some real fun next year, and I hope you all join me for it. Until then, enjoy this final chapter in the Anteronia storyline!

I return to you now, having suffered a rapid series of events. As soon as I wrote my last word, the prison around me disappeared, sending me and the book tumbling to the floor. I rushed to Tik Tik's side, feeling for any signs of life from her. I was relieved to discover that she was sleeping, and turned my attention post-haste to the unmoving Lady Aldevan.
She sprung suddenly to life, and with inhuman speed, she shoved her hand right into my body, grabbing me by the core with a paralyzing grasp. My form froze then, and all I could do was listen to her as she stood from the bed, lifting me high into the room.
"Little writer," the voice said the amalgamation of horror that could only be Zelb's voice. "I'm glad you're here. You can tell Tik Tik how much I thank her."
She stroked her thumb along my core, and I shuddered. No one had touched me there before, and it proved to be much more sensitive than I imagined. "Listen," she spoke, and I snapped my attention fully upon her once more. "I didn't think the Aldevan family would have kept their promise to me for so long. I never thought their descendants would provide for me a vessel. But... when Tik Tik came to this city, MY city, she allowed me to find her... the host for my physical form.
She pulled me in closer, our mouths just inches apart. "You're probably wondering now what happens next? Well, there are so many possibilities, but none of them involve me hitching a ride with Tik Tik anymore. This world has been changing for quite a while now. Soon, every city will be as wonderfully corrupt as Anteronia, and my fellow demons will frolic and play with this land as they see fit.
"But what about little Tik Tik over there?" She chuckled, finally tossing me back, making me splash right next to my teacher. "I don't need her anymore, but if she wants to learn anything else from me, she can. But, she really, really does want to go back home. Let her. You, mortals, don't have the time to waste on things you don't care about."
Zelb crouches down in front of Tik Tik, her claw-like hand scratching behind the kobold's horn. "She's caused a lot of people a lot of trouble, you know. Let's just hope she's not going to cause me any more, myself."
With that, Zelb kissed the head of the creature that had been her home. The demon hopped off of the bed and slinked away into the darkened hallway.

Tik Tik's thoughts:
It's finally over. The curse of the demon is gone. I'm now left to make my own decisions without her voice in the back of my head. Anteronia has been a fantastic city to visit, and I have made such fabulous friends there. I don't think I will soon forget the likes of Sis or Baker or Purity or Gayle, but it is time for me to move on from this place. It has been far too long since I had been home, and I long to take what I've learned and tell it to my fellow kobolds.
Will I ever return to the city of sex? Perhaps one day, but who knows? There is so much more of the world I have yet to see and learn. After all, I have left my relationship with Zelb with more questions than answers, and perhaps that is a great lesson indeed.
We aren't going to find all the answers. But we should have fun and keep learning.

With the end of the Aldevan Ball, Lord Aldevan finds himself stripped of his costume and dressed in a simple loose-fitting tunic while waiting in a dark, cold room. The young Lord does not wait for too long, however, before the Inquisitor steps in, standing tall with their mouth covered in bands. Their eyes stare down at him with condescending superiority. Behind this figure approaches a hunched avian figure, a quill in one hand and a long parchment in the other. Already, the bird takes quick glances to the nobleman, scribbling down notes.
Heavy-gloved hands slam upon the interrogation table, and intense, gray eyes stare into his own. Through a muffled voice, the officer speaks. "You have a multitude of crimes to answer for, Alvamius, not least of which is inciting an orgy in the public space."
Lord Aldevan folds his arms over his chest, sitting up straight and staring the Inquisitor down. "You will not speak ill of me. I am a lord in Anteronia."
"And, I am a servant of justice!" the Inquisitor growls. "Justice was not served at your party last night. Multiple drug busts, a myriad of cases of public indecency, cases of sexual assault, and, let us not forget, the death of Lady Winifreda Aldevan."
Lord Aldevan's shoulder's lower, his confidence wavers. "Mother... is dead?"
"And your sister, the half-breed, your servants say, is missing."
"The kobold," Lord Aldevan hisses.
"Kobold...?" The inquisitor repeats. They then turn towards their avian scribe, clapping gloved hands together. "Retrieve the evidence from case 27-abc."
The bird person bows and reaches under its voluminous robes. It produces a booklet and thumbs through the pages, letting the old must of paper fill the small room. It pulls out a single parchment, which the inquisitor snatches, holding it in front of Lord Aldevan's face. "Is this the kobold you refer to? Is this a person of interest in this case?"
Lord Aldevan looks at the sketch of the pink kobold before him, with big bright eyes and a heart-shaped snout. He nods. "That's her. I doubt she has anything to do with my mother's demise. My sister's disappearance is another story."
The inquisitor nods, handing the paper back to the bird. It slides the sign back among the others in the list of criminals.
"Very well, so this is the one responsible for Zelbia's return."
"Excuse me?" Lord Aldevan says. "What's a 'Zelbia?"
"Nothing you should concern yourself over. After all, you will be going away for a long time for the death of your mother."
"I had nothing to do with that!" Lord Aldevan says, slamming his fists against the table. "If it was anyone, it was that hag, Elicia! She manipulated me, preyed on my hubris, and brought out the worst in me."
The Inquisitor nods over towards the avian, which slinks on back to the door, turning the lock upon it.
"W... what is the meaning of this?" Lord Aldevan says. "I demand to see my legal counsel!
The inquisitor tuts, eyes flaring a fiery orange. They then reach up and unbutton their jacket, letting it roll off of their shoulders, exposing light creamy skin beneath.
Lord Aldevan's skin turns pale, and he gulps when the jacket falls to the ground. Standing before him is no uptight Justiciar, but instead is a voluptuous elven body, top wholly uncovered, but face obscured. He would recognize her anywhere, but to be sure, his eyes travel downward.
Just as he had hoped and feared, those tight pants do little to hide the grotesque bulge straining between the elf's legs. His mouth salivates against his better judgment, but he pushes away, stumbling up against the opposite wall. "No, the kobold--the kobold freed me from you! You..."
The elf walks around the table, bringing her thick leather gloves up to Lord Aldevan's shoulders. "There's no way you can leave me, my pet," she coos. "Once you have a taste of my power, you will always want more, charm, or no charm."
Lord Aldevan's eyes lose their luster as he looks into her own. His heart beats ever-faster, a sign she feels by pressing her body against his.
"And you feel like you're just as happy to see me as I am to see you."
Lord Aldevan whimpers, his hands moving to grab hold of the elf, but just as he is about to rest upon her thighs, a swift peck from the bird sends him pressing his palms against the wall. "You... you killed mother, madam...?"
The elf clicks her tongue, and he can practically feel that muscle brush against his lips. "No, no, Alvie... That was some nonsense of her own design. We could have been something big together if we had kept that brat of a sister of yours in line. Now, though... I have no more use for Anteronia or for your pathetic little costume shop of a noble house."
He snarls, shoving her back, and the elf falls onto the table. Her hat falls off, her green locks spilling out over the table. "That's a real man, is it? Attacking a helpless woman!"
"You are not helpless, and you are no woman!" Lord Aldevan snarls. "I gave you another chance to be with me, but you have squandered it with your power play. Now, you're at a disadvantage, you temptress. Guards! Inquisitors!"
The door slams open with little trouble. If that didn't worry the nobleman, then the inquisitors rushing towards the table and lifting the elf up to stand up certainly does.
The elf yawns stretches and then moves her hands down her body. "Alvie... you don't live as long as I have without learning a few tricks. I always have the upper hand, you know..." Her hands move down over her body, fingers hooking at her tight leather pants. "And now, my old flame... you're fucked."
