Not What I Ordered
The gentle knocking at the hotel room door set Hal's heart racing. He glanced down at his phone, and sure enough mere moments later the steadily pulsing heart shaped icon upon the screen turned from a rich purple to pure, scarlet red as the message beneath it changed.
'Your partner for the evening, Taylor , is on their way.'
Those words vanished, and in their place, others appeared.
'Your partner for the evening, Taylor , has arrived. Bacchus Escort Services wishes you an exceptionally pleasant night.'
Another series of gentle knocks echoed at the door, and Hal let slip a yelp as he realised he was keeping his guest waiting. He looked up and down himself, dressed in a smart robe provided by the hotel itself, closed at the front but with the fox still more than able to feel just how naked he was beneath it. He looked around the room, spotlessly clean, and to the desk next to the window where his wallet was seated next to his closed laptop, having paid by debit card in advance for the entire night ahead. This wasn't something that Hal did often. Honestly it wasn't something he did ever, tonight being the first time for reasons that were immensely personal to him. As he took a deep breath and padded over to the door however, there was no shame upon the fox's face. No embarrassment over what he had done, over the fact that he had paid for this beautiful woman's appearance at his door. He needed this. He needed her, and he hoped that now she was here this vacation would be transformed from the utter disaster it had been so far, to something at least one night of which would always be truly memorable.
The door swung open as he twisted its lock open and pulled upon its handle. Light flooded in from the more brightly illuminated hallway beyond, and there, standing in the hallway with a warm smile upon their face, was...
Hal choked slightly in his shock, in his sudden embarrassment, and he looked hurriedly up and down the length of the corridor before peering back up at the male tiger standing before him. Fuck. Fuck. The app had said that his companion for the night was here, so she had to be on her way up to his room right now. That meant he had to get rid of this guy, whoever he was, fast.
"U-uh... can I... help you? Sorry, it's just I'm... I'm waiting for a, uh... a friend."
The tiger smiled once more, raising a soothing, quieting hand.
"Please, don't be nervous."
His voice was thick and silky as he purred to the fox.
"I'm Taylor. I believe it's me you are waiting for."
Hal's eyes bulged once again. He looked at the tiger, then fumbled in his robe pocket for his phone and pulled it out. Sure enough, there upon the screen was the final message from the application he'd downloaded to track the progress of his order like the most anticipated, sexiest pizza of his life.
'Your partner for the evening, Taylor , has arrived.'
Looking up once again, the shock and confusion upon his face was undeniable, and to his dismay he saw the tiger's own smile fade as Taylor noted it.
"Is... there something wrong, Sir? If I'm not to your liking despite the algorithm matching us so highly, we can arrange for someone else to come out instead."
Hal looked between the tiger and his phone once again, then sagged slightly as he saw the slightly dejected, hurt expression upon the tiger's face. This man might have been a professional, but he was still a person, and seeing the look that Hal could feel upon his own face in that moment directed at him couldn't have been remotely pleasant. Forcing himself to stop frowning, at least to stop frowning so directly at Taylor, Hal shook his head.
"I'm sorry. It's just... maybe you should come in, so we can figure out what went wrong here. I... I'm sure you're great, really. But, I ordered... I mean, I requested a woman. I'm straight, s-so this? You? It's not what I expected to see at my door."
Hal stepped back from the door as he saw the tiger's expression go from hurt to a more professional level of frustration, directed not at the fox but at his own company. He gestured for Taylor to enter, and the big cat did so, already pulling a phone out of his pocket and pulling up the very same website that Taylor had used to book his company for the evening. The hotel room door closed behind them, and for a few moments they both stood staring at their phones, scrolling through their respective staff and customer related order screens. As they did so, Taylor spoke reassuringly and apologetically to Hal.
"I can't tell you how sorry I am for this mix up. Our system is normally so good. If this is anything on our end you will of course receive a full refund, and we'll still send out a more appropriate person to share what remains of the night with you. I just need to double check the order and confirm that all the details should have resulted in us sending out a female identifying member of staff, and..."
His voice abruptly trailed off. He looked up at Hal not in annoyance or anger, but with an even more apologetic expression, and one that was slightly nervous too.
"Of course, y-you understand, sir, that if the error was one that seems to have come from the user end rather than ours? The offer of a refund partial refund still remains. However there will be fees taken for the time spent so far."
The tiger had the look of an employee who knew they were about to tell a customer something they didn't want to hear, and who feared being yelled at for doing so. Hal winced, realising just how compromising and scary a position that must have been for someone in this career, one where far fewer safety regulations and rules to ensure that they were protected while carrying out their job were present than should have been the case. He tried to look as calm and as relaxed as possible if only to set the tiger's mind a little at ease, and tried his very best to smile warmly as he nodded towards the other man's phone.
"What is it? What did you see?"
Taylor turned his phone screen around so that Hal could see it. He enlarged the page with a swipe of two fingers in opposite directions upon the screen, and pointed with one of those digits towards a particular portion of the form which held Hal's digital order. The tiger watched as the other man's eyes skimmed over the details for a few moments, and he winced again as the smile immediately vanished from the fox's face, replaced by an expression of outright humiliation.
"Oh my god."
Hal murmured as he brought a hand to his face, shaking his head in dismay at his own idiocy.
"Oh my god, I'm such an idiot."
He had checked over the form a dozen times before submitting it. He had been so nervous, so excited, so very in need of some company tonight that he hadn't wanted anything to go wrong. And yet, right there clear as day was his error. Four bright, bold letters, not even clicked from a list but typed in by his own fingers with deliberate purpose. How he had made such an error, he had no idea. Whether he thought it was referring to himself somehow or something even more bizarre and inexplicable, it didn't really matter. The outcome was the same.
The form read, in undeniable clarity:
'You are a... Cisgender Male.
Seeking the companionship of a... Cisgender Male.'
He had done this.
He had asked for this, however accidentally. And now...
Hal looked the tiger up and down, at his handsome figure, strong but not overly muscular. More athletic in his leanness than anything else. He wasn't the kind of guy to be disgusted by the idea of gay sex. He wasn't even the kind of guy who felt vaguely uncomfortable with it. So long as they were of an appropriate age and fully consenting to whatever they were doing, people could love and be with whoever they wanted, however they wanted, and he knew that believing that wasn't some big, magnanimous effort on his part, just basic decency.
The fact remained though, he was standing here with a male escort whom he had no real attraction towards, and yet whom he had apparently paid a sizeable amount of money to bring here, a not insubstantial proportion of which would go to waste if he sent him away.
His eyes widened as that thought crossed his mind, or more specifically a very particular part of that thought.
If.
If he sent him away.
Because, if not...?
"I... p-please tell me if you're not comfortable with this, I know all this has been my mistake and I'm totally accepting of that. It's just..."
Hal took a deep breath, slightly ragged and shuddering as the emotion he had been holding back all night in anticipation of this person's arrival made a sudden lurch up and out of where he had been restraining it.
"...I r-really, really need to be with someone right now. And, t-the things I asked for on the form? The specific requests? They're... they are still things that you could do with me, r-right?"
He saw the tiger's eyes widen, but without even looking at the form, no doubt having memorised what was expected of him before he'd gotten here, Taylor nodded.
"Yes. I was going to ask you what difference you had in mind when you wrote 'sex' and 'anal' as two separate options for what you'd like to do with me, but I see what the assumption was now. Everything you asked for was great, and... for what it's worth, it sounded like you had a really fun evening planned for us both. I'm just sorry that it turned out this way, I... I hate seeing a potential client let down, even if it wasn't something on our end that was responsible."
Taylor saw the glow upon the fox's cheeks, the nervous shuffling, and his already wide eyes grew larger still as he realised that the reason that Hal was asking those questions might not have been entirely as hypothetical and born of simple curiosity and a need for small-talk in the face of exceptional awkwardness as he thought.
"Unless... are you asking if I could still share those things with you? Even though I'm... not who you expected?"
He saw the embarrassment burning across the fox's features, not an embarrassment born of any bigotry, but simply because of how ridiculous it no doubt sounded to Hal that he had made such a big deal about expecting a woman, only to now find himself asking the guy who had shown up to stay anyway.
"I have to tell you, Hal, if we do start sharing things? The refund is off the table. Whether you have me here for two minutes or the whole night, you remember reading that in the contract, right?"
Hal nodded. He swallowed thickly, and blinked a single tear out of his eyes. He was so lonely right now. He needed this. He needed someone, and this tiger... there were still so many things they could share that he had imagined and hoped for. Who cared what was between his legs. Who cared what Hal's limited expectations of beauty and attraction had been hoping for. If it was a choice between the tiger, and a night of solitude in this hotel room? The fox shuddered, and reached for the cloth rope holding his robe shut with two trembling hands.
Before he could get there though, he felt Taylor's hands grasping at his wrists. Suddenly he recalled something else he'd written on the form. His cheeks flushed, and he shuddered as he heard the tiger's voice whispering throatily in his ear.
'Additional requests: Someone who can take control'
The tiger's hands gripped tightly at his own arms, and Taylor's words purred their way into his very core.
"Close your eyes for me, Hal. Close your eyes... and picture the most beautiful woman you've ever dreamed of. Picture her strong hands touching you, and her heart-stoppingly sweet face smiling at you as she drops to her knees. Imagine what that face, that cute muzzle of hers is about to do. And then... then remember that she's right here, and you don't have to imagine any more."
A moment later Hal felt the tiger drop to his knees. He felt the hands release his own, only for the tiger's paws to tease open his robe before his hands could get there. Hal tensed up as a hand cupped his balls, and another stroked his sheath. He shuddered. He grunted. He soon found himself getting hard due to the physical stimulation alone. He tried to picture that beautiful woman the tiger had suggested, but all he could see for some reason behind his closed eyelids was Taylor's own face. Smiling at him warmly, reassuringly.
His eyes bulged, springing open as with barely more than a few inches of his stiffening cock protruding from his sheath, the fox felt something hot, wet and deliciously intimate wrap itself around those emerging inches. He looked down, and saw the tiger with his own eyes closed and his mouth bobbing, tenderly beginning to suckle and tease at his crotch. Hal groaned at the sight of a man sucking him off, and closed his eyes again to try and re-focus on the image of a woman in the tiger's place.
Barely ten seconds later though, his eyes fluttered open again. Just for one more look, one more glance at the handsome tiger sucking his cock.
He moaned again. And again.
He rocked his hips against the tiger's hard working, tenderly suckling face, and a few moments later without even thinking about it, he ran his fingers through the big cat's tousled hair.
Taylor purred, and the vibrations of that purr surged through his muzzle and into the cock held within it. A yelp of pleasure escaped the fox, and a moment later a pleading, needy gasp followed hungrily in its wake as the fox's grasp on the other man's head tightened.
"T-Taylor. Please. Oh, please... d-don't stop."
