Chapter 9: Loving White Christmas

It was now the month of December. Another month had passed and still nothing in terms of the enemy appearing had happened and nothing had still been found on Mocha's family name, so that meant more waiting. This also applied to getting more information on that book. But that was okay as now that people knew what was really going on, training and preparing for the confrontation that was surely going to happen next year could continue at a wonderful pace. At least the Seleni bitch scum ordered to keep an eye on Mocha was still being fooled. Even with help from the nasty fucking twins Mu and Eta returning, they were all deceived. Now because nobody was focusing on finding the enemy, that explained why fights didn't break out. Also neither Eta or Mu would recognize Nicholas by looks as he had hid his identity during that last fight. The only way they would know it was him by feeling his energy. By this point the ones training knew it was called Soul Energy, and very different than spiritual energy. How it was by the fact the way an Eternal Halo member got it back for their attacks and abilities was by resting and regaining their strength. And certainly not by doing horrid sexual acts.

In the meantime, thanks to all the training that had been done so far, everyone on the side of good not only felt stronger, they could tell it too. This especially applied to Mocha, Jen, Lin, and Holly. For the feline, she had no more episodes with her Seleni self, really starting to master and control that. But then the group who was preparing received some surprising news. They learned Ama was alive and now in safe refuge with the Eternal Halo. It was Byron who got the news from the higher ups of the order before telling the others. She had been away from this city a good 150 miles away in a little town called Hovington. The nasty twins Mu and Eta had been tracking her but the older and more powerful Seleni had managed to lose them. There was no point going to that place as Ama hadn't left anything behind, only brining the news to the Eternal Halo and to begin training as well for the fight against her evil bitch sister Chandra. Because of that, Ama wasn't going to come back just yet until then. But then Mocha was given a personal message writing in Ama's handwriting. It told the feline to stay strong, to keep training, and she would always love Mocha. The Seleni on the side of good knew all of this since Byron and Akio had informed the leaders and elders of the situation in this city so Ama wouldn't be kept in the dark. As for Mocha, she broke down crying, realizing that now she did have feelings of love for Ama and hopped after this they could be together somehow. Nicholas went on to say Mocha had his full support as it was due to true love and who the feline was supposed to be with.

Other than that, life had still continued on normally. Everyone else had their jobs, daily activities, and things to keep up as normal with living as possible. For Nicholas and Holly, the fosky and vixen were even more deeply in love and their bond greater than ever. Sure, the loving and passionate sex still continued. And yes, the couple would spend nights at the other's place to do so. But it was everything else that made them click together so well. But now that it was Christmas, a couple of things had come up. One that really pissed off Nicholas and the other Eternal Halo members. It even didn't float well with Holly, Mocha, Jen, and Lin. And that was someone had drawn Chandra herself in a not exactly safe for work Christmas pic. But it wasn't just the fact the head Seleni bitch scum was in it in skimpy clothing and then nothing at all trying to seduce idiots and mortals, it was the sheer amount of those who fell for it by their comments. It was to be noted no Seleni would ever celebrate the holiday, or the true meaning as being demonic it would be against their nature. Plus even if none of that was the case, it was just using the holiday as another horrible fucked up excuse for sex. That wasn't what any holiday should be used for. This one was meant to spend time with family, friends, and loved ones. And if you had a special someone, like in the case of Nicholas and Holly, and naughty times followed, it was due to true love. But never was a holiday meant to be used for pointless and mindless fucking because hormones were out of control. Now while nothing came up with the real Chandra or the enemy, it was reported that other horrible acts from those because of that picture were found by other Eternal Halo members. Needless to say, those were put to an end quickly. They were either cleaned, purified, and a few were even killed. The third option there hadn't been a choice. But at least for the five in this city and the four ladies, they had nothing to worry about. And that was why it was decided a party of their own was in order. All to show there were those who celebrated the holiday as it was meant to be. And to prove the bitch Chandra wrong once again about how she viewed the world.

Now the question was who would host the party. Mocha was against it as she recalled when Holly had first stepped in her place how crazy and crowded it felt. Now the feline had long since stopped feeling anything for the vixen, but the idea of more than four at her pad was overwhelming. So Byron suggested his place. The Eternal Halo racoon had no problem as his space was big enough and best of all with how well things went with the Halloween party, this should also be a success. Mocha's friends that had been invited before were going to come to this as well which made Lin very happy. The one at the Halloween party who the female panda had a great time with had spent quite a bit of time with that female when it had been allowed during November and this month. It would seem Lin had found someone special to love and it was the same for him. However, if they did start dating, that meant another who could help fight the enemy. In the meantime everyone agreed to having the part at the racoon's place. But Holly had one more idea for her and Nicholas and the couple in love talked about it a few days before. "I know you've been feeling a bit down lately, right?" she said.

"Yeah, more than a bit," the fosky admitted as they were walking down the streets of the city. By this point snow had come and could be seen in drifts on the sides of the road, as well as blanketing the bare trees and other areas. "Just me dealing with art troubles and getting better, not feel like getting anywhere, and then on top of that dealing with other idiots online who can't keep their hormones in check..."

"I know babe. That's why I think I have a way to cheer you up so at least Christmas is better for you."

Would you like me to spend the evening and day with you?" Holly asked. "Just us two; you and me at your place?"

It then came time for that. All the presents had been brought and wrapped. But for Holly, part of her way to cheer up Nicholas was ready to go. It was just another way to show how this holiday was meant to be celebrated. The fosky and vixen arrived at Byron's place, making sure to be on guard for any of the enemy. Going in showed the place was decorated but also containing a number of books and other things that looked like different collections and artifacts. "Wait... huh?" Holly asked. Mocha gave the long-haired male a questioning look.

Nicholas got what was on their minds and quickly shook his head. "No not romantically, I meant just in general," he said. "I haven't seen her in a long time and well, given how she's the only Seleni I can stand to talk and be friendly is another reason. Plus, she always respected my choice on how to love and encouraged my training as an Eternal Halo member and with the art too." Here he looked to the Arctic fox with him and took Holly's paws into his. "Besides..." The male's eyes and hers met. "You, my dear sweet Holly, you're all the female I'll need forever..."

The little Christmas gathering went well. Lin did end up getting lucky as the one male who ended up spending quite a bit of time with her up until now did kiss the panda under the mistletoe and asked her out. As for the rest of the guests, they also had a great time at this party. But in the early evening, it was time to head home. It would be good to do so before night fell because of the enemy. And reason two with this party happening on Christmas Eve, everyone had plans for the following day and needed to get their homes. Everyone returned safely with no problems. Upon getting to his pad, the two placed what they had gotten from the party and placed it under the decorated tree the fosky had. Once the two had brushed their teeth, fixed their hair, and put on some other layers, it was off to getting something to eat. Author's notes: So with that, the canon story with Holly is finished for now. In the future I might write another one shot with me and her like say for the summer. I don't know.
