Office Dogs
Written by: TiranMaster
Everything at the office changed after the new bosses came in, it was strange, there had been no word about it prior. Charles himself has been planning on going on vacation the next week, he'd planned it out with his brother, they would be going on a big camping trip. Typing away at his desk, he'd been plugging numbers into the system, though his mind was a bit distant from the project. It was Friday, after the clock hit five he wouldn't have to be back at the office until the following monday. His coworkers were all chatting about him, unlike him, they had a bit more leeway with their work since they would be in on Monday to get their work completed before deadlines hit them.
Personally Charles thought management could be sticks in the mud, but his personal boss had already treated him well. Sharlene kept their department in tight order, she didn't allow anyone to get too unruly or behind in their work, but even so she allowed them a great bit of leniency. It was due to her that many of them could listen to audiobooks or music while they worked, of course only so long as they kept on time. During crunch time, Sharlene would buy them all lunch, or sometimes dinner when they were running really late into the name. All in all, Charles was satisfied with his lot, though sometimes he imagined what it would be like to be upper management himself.
It was four thirty when they walked in, the elevator doors slid open, and four large men strolled into the room. They didn't exactly look like business men, they were buff to the point of straining their shirts, and they were attractive enough to look like they'd been stolen straight out of a modeling agent. Their eyes though were sharp, keenly observant, picking up everyone walking around the room. More than that though was the strong scent that loomed out of the elevator they'd stepped out of, it was heady, musky, and anybody near the doors started to weakly cough at the powerful odor. What got everyone's attention though was the shrill whistle that broke through the office, it broke up any conversations that were going on, and any work quickly stopped as everyone stood up to see what was happening.
The whistler in question was the tallest, the sharpest dressed, and the one who smiled as the last of the heads to pop up over cubicle walls went up. "Hello there." His voice was deep, attractive as his features were, and his demeanor made everyone relax despite the confusion they all felt. "My apologies, I know we're awfully close to the end of the day, but I wanted to make introductions before the weekend." People were shifting a bit uncomfortably, something was off, they didn't know what in particular, but the piercing nature of his gaze was striking right through all of them. "Starting one hour ago, your business has been merged into our corporation, and as such there will be several changes in the system here."
That got people talking, confusion giving over to worry, mergers were notorious for lost jobs after all. The man held his hands up though, stalling people's comments before they could be asked, his confident smile calming some of the panic. "Calm yourselves, everyone, there won't be any sort of downsizing. Well, not for all of you, that is. We've decided to take it upon ourselves to clear out your management staff as we've found there to be several weaknesses in the structure, and as such each floor will be receiving a new manager Monday morning." That didn't necessarily go over well with everyone, but they stayed quiet as he continued speaking. "You all will be going through a new training program starting this week though."
Despite his own nervousness at the whole situation, Charles found himself raising his hand in sudden concern. The man smiled and nodded towards his hand, shocking the worker slightly, but he nervously rose his voice. "S... sorry to interrupt, but I have a vacation this next week... will this interfere with that?"
The man gave him a pained smile, one that sent Charles' stomach plummeting as he already knew what was going to come next. "My deepest apologies, but any time off for next week has been put on hold. You will be able to request time off after next week, but this training is all quite mandatory. You'll be very pleased that you missed your trip though, I can promise all of you that your next week will be quite an elucidating one!" With that, the man beckoned for the others to follow him back into the elevator ignoring any further questions.
Sinking into his chair, Charles groaned as he pulled up his time card to see if what the man had said was true. Looking at the work calendar for the next week, he saw that the entire week had been turned into a blackout week, meaning all of his vacation time had been canceled for that time. "...Damn it," he sighed and leaned back in his seat. Rubbing at his eyes, Charles groaned as he could hear the voices of his coworkers rising in confusion and concern, after all, this was so sudden. More than that, some were remarking on the strange scent and appearance of the men. Charles didn't put too much thought into that though, after all, he was rehearsing in his head the conversation he would be having with his brother...
Monday Morning:
Walking into the office on Monday, Charles knew he wasn't excited at all for the day to start. Thoughts of how he could have been out in the forest with his brother sprang to mind, but instead he was forced to face the reality of his work life instead. Seeing the new sign above the entrance had Charles slow down a bit, gone was the old title of the company, in its place was "K-9 Corp". That was a strange title for a corporation, to be honest Charles hadn't thought too hard about the company takeover in the intervening days aside from how it had messed up his personal plans.
The interior was similarly changed, posters were now dog focused, showing off canine merchandise alongside man's best friend. Charles other coworkers were eying the posters in a mixture of interest and confusion, this was certainly different than their workplace's primary purpose before, though Charles supposed it wasn't too bad as long as he was still inputting data figures. "Mornin' Chuck," a gruff voice said as he stepped onto the elevator. Dimitri had held the door for Charles as he'd been approaching, he'd been so distracted by all of the new posters that he'd been slow to get to the elevator.
"Hey Dimitri, how was your weekend?" Charles asked mechanically, it was part of his routine, they'd been doing the same dance for a while now. The pair were good friends, they sometimes went out for a drink at the bar together.
"It was good, though I was supposed to have today off. It's my birthday you know," Dimitri sighed, shaking his head as he sipped his coffee. Before Charles could try to hastily put together a birthday wish, Dimitri just waved it off with a half-hearted smile. "It's fine, I celebrated the big day with my girlfriend last night. She was rather upset, wanted to have a word with management."
"How did that go over?" Charles asked, he'd met Tanya, she could be quite the spitfire when she felt like it.
"They somehow managed to calm her down before she could really get going, it was really weird actually. One minute she was ready to tear someone's head off, the next she was nodding and saying how it completely made sense. Real creepy stuff," Dimitri said, scratching one hand through his scraggly beard. "Sorry you have to be here though, I know you were planning a big week getaway."
Charles just shrugged in return, he couldn't really say anything more than that he was disappointed at this point. "Any word on what this training entails? I'm sure some of the HR people have already gone through it, don't you still talk to Kevin?" Kevin was one of the newest HR reps, he had worked on their floor before being promoted the month prior. It had been a real shame to see Kevin move up as he was a great worker, but they'd all been happy with him.
That made Dimitri quirk his head slightly, the expression on his face had Charles feel a bit anxious. "That's the thing, I was texting Kevin over the weekend. He was complaining on Friday about all of the changes, he went on about how it was super rude how those guys stomped through all of the floors announcing such big changes. Usually such things are handled carefully, as to help assuage peoples' fears. Kevin was furious, and said that he'd be talking to them as soon as possible."
"Did he?"
"Well... yes, or I think he did. It was strange, he was quiet all day Saturday, wouldn't respond to any of my texts. Didn't hear anything from him until yesterday afternoon, got a few texts from him. They're... weird." Dimitri fished his phone out of his pocket before turning it on, he clicked on the screen a few times before holding out the phone for Charles to see.
Friday: 5:37 PM. K: I'm going to go talk to them, I'm not going to allow this to stand! They've canceled several employees' vacations over this, this is irresponsible!
Friday: 5:38 PM. D: Don't get into too much trouble, k?
Friday: 5:39 PM. K: This is my job, I'm going to get to the bottom of this. I won't let shit like thiss stand!
Friday: 5:40 PM. D: Okay, just be careful.
Friday: 7:00 PM. D: How did things go?
Friday: 7:15 PM. D: Kevin?
Saturday: 11:17 AM. D: Kevin, everything go alright yesterday?
Saturday: 11:24 AM. D: Text me anything if you need help, bud.
Sunday: 7:45 AM. K: I'm perfectly fine, thanks for checking on me! The talks went great, I can't wait for everyone to go through Training.
Sunday: 8:01 AM. D: Kevin, oh thank god, I thought something happened to you. What happened?!
Sunday: 8:03 AM. K: No need to worry, Dimitri. I had a long talk with Upper Management, it went great. See you Monday, bright and early for Training!
Charles didn't know exactly what it was about the texts creeped him out, but the entire conversation set his nerves on edge. "That's... weird," he said hesitantly. Dimitri nodded, the pair didn't get to say much more before the doors opened onto their office floor. Walking out into the room, they saw that everything looked much the same save for new posters hung throughout. Some were productivity posters, though all of them had canines on them. Others were posters remarking on how all canines were man's best friend. "Nope, this just topped that weird," Charles said when he saw all of the new posters hung throughout.
"No kidding," Dimitri said. The pair glanced at one another, but without much anything to seriously remark on they both went to their cubicles. The first thing that Charles noticed upon entering his was the brand new computer, it gleamed in the fluorescent lights of the room. Despite himself, Charles was impressed, the previous management had constantly refused to put any sort of money into upgrading the equipment. This would make the data processing a lot faster, and though everything else was really strange he didn't mind this change.
Sitting on his desk was a folder, opening it up Charles found new login information, though the username had him quirking his eyebrow. Username: GermanShepChuck He'd had a different username than that, and he was very confused by the GermanShep part of it. Though... looking at the posters hung around, Charles supposed he shouldn't be too shocked by the dog reference. "Right..." With the Username, Charles was able to make his own password in the system before logging in.
The background of the screen was a picture of a german shepherd, a fact that didn't escape Charles' notice. Shaking his head slightly, Charles was able to get into his processing system. All of the old files were gone, Charles noticed, instead there was a new set of forms in a folder on his desktop for him to process. "New company, same old job," Charles sighed. At least this much was normal, it wasn't exactly what he wanted to do today, but he was decent at his job.
Getting into the routine of things, Charles started to process the data, noting that a lot of the sales were in dog supplies of one sort or another. There was a plethora of collars and bandanas numbers, as well as information on dog food. A lot of it seemed awfully expensive considering the numbers that Charles was working with, but in the end it was just more of the same. Typing away on his computer, Charles was able to get into a rhythm just as nine o'clock hit. The door to the manager's office opened, but it wasn't Sharlene that stepped out, instead it was one of the men from Friday. Charles hadn't caught his name when he'd been there before, but today he was more talkative. "Greetings, everyone, I'm so glad you're all here today. I'm sad to say that a few choice workers haven't been able to attend today, some of whom called in sick, others who decided to ignore the 'mandatory' part of today."
Something about that rubbed Charles the wrong way, the way the man's dark green eyes bore into any cubicles that didn't have workers sitting in them creeped him out. "My name is Theo, and I am your new Trainer. From this day on, you all shall follow my every command." That line got a few people grousing, but when Theo shot them a fierce look their voices quickly fell away. The longer he stood in there, the stronger a scent drifted off of Theo, Charles caught a whiff and had to stop himself from coughing. It was a heavy heady smell, a powerful male scent that... calmed him... Charles' earlier concerns seemed to drift away a bit as he listened more attentively to what Theo had to say.
"Today you all shall be undergoing Training, I have several assistants who will be aiding me in the other managerial offices on this floor. When you are called, you are to promptly stand and follow them into the proper room. If there is any dissension, I will have to reprimand the disobedient pup, am I understood?" From those closest to Theo, there was an affirmative answer, while those further away from his scent were confused and a bit concerned.
"First in, Carson," Theo said, reading a name off of a clipboard. Other doors opened down the wall revealing several others, they were a bit more nondescript than Theo was. They started listing off names, and one by one the people whose names were called entered the rooms. Once they walked inside, the doors were shut and the sound of bolts being thrown could be heard. Charles started to type away again, entering the figures from the sheets he was given, finding himself strangely relaxed despite his earlier annoyance at having to work on his vacation.
Typing away rows of numbers, it wasn't until Charles' shoulder was shaken that he noticed that Dimitri had walked over to him. "Dimitri, what are you doing out of your cubicle?" Charles asked, his mouth a bit dry, his eyes strangely sore.
"It's lunch time, Charles, what's going on with you?" Dimitri asked, his face screwed up in concern. Charles blinked a few times before glancing at his watch, his heart stopped for a moment as he saw that a few hours had already flown past. "C'mon man, get up," Dimitri said, helping Charles out of his chair.
Glancing at his computer before he walked away, Charles had to stop himself from falling over in shock when he saw how much work he'd gotten done. Several saved data sheets sat on his desktop, and he could barely remember that he'd worked on them. "Dimitri, is something going on?" He asked once they were in the elevator, it looked as if most of the office had already left to head off to lunch themselves.
"I was going to ask you the same question, haven't you noticed anyone coming back from those offices after their 'training" are acting really funny? Heck, you and everyone close to the doors of those offices were really off. You weren't the only one that wasn't getting up to go off to lunch," Dimitri said, looking at Charles carefully. Shrugging uncomfortably, Charles rubbed at his temples, trying to regain his balance. "Maybe you should go home for the day, Chuck, see if you can get some rest."
For a moment Charles considered it, he didn't like the fact that he'd blacked out for so long, and yet had gotten so much work done. When he got back to his computer he would have to double check all of his work to make sure it was good... he wondered if a gas main had broken or something. "I don't think that'd be good, Dimitri..." Scratching the back of his head, Charles couldn't shake the feeling that Theo would be disappointed in him. Charles couldn't handle that, he needed Theo to be pleased with him. A memory surfaced, something in the middle of him typing the data into his computer. Behind the screen there had been pulses of light, words interlaced across the screen...
Be a good boy. Don't disobey. Serve the company. Attend your Training. Be a good boy.
"What did you say?" Dimitri asked. Charles blinked a few times, barely noticing the erection in his pants.
"I uh... what?"
"You were saying something about... Good boy..." Dimitri's expression went blank as his hand went to his crotch, Charles barely took this in as he did likewise. Both stood stock still in the elevator, the only sound within their own panting. They snapped out of it when the doors slid open to the dining floor, the pair walked out and started towards the lunch line. They walked past several people kneeling over bowls, faces dug in, chomping and munching loudly as they ate whatever was inside. Charles tried to focus on that, tried to parse why it was strange, but his eyes were pulled away to focus on the food line in front of him.
"Some of that stuff they're having us type is pretty weird, don't you think?" Charles picked up his plate as they started down the lunch line, up ahead the feeders were asking the employees something that he couldn't make out.
"Yeah, strange stuff," Dimitri muttered, his expression still a bit vacant. He appeared to be struggling with something, occasionally glancing at the multiple people bent over food dishes and chowing down. Before he could concentrate too hard though, his attention refocused on Charles. "Are you going to call in sick for the rest of the day though?"
The closer they got to the feeders, the more Charles realized that something about this wasn't right. Before this place had been a fairly normal cafeteria, they'd bring their own food or there would've been vending machines. Where had this new lunch line come from, more importantly, who were the feeders? "I... I don't know," Charles grunted, rubbing at his head.
"You?" They were close enough for Charles to make out the question now.
"Have you finished your Training?"
If the person answered yes, then they were handed a bowl with their name printed on it. If they said no, they were given a fairly ordinary looking plate of bland food. Something about that made Charles feel strangely sad, the food in the bowl looked far more appealing. "I think I'm gonna head out, this is all too much for me," Dimitri said with a scowl. "My head hurts, and... something's wrong. I can't put my finger on it though."
Charles nodded slowly, he felt like he should tell Dimitri to stay, it was wrong to leave without finishing their Training. "I... yeah... something is wrong..." That was bad of him to say, Charles felt sad for saying so, he felt like the Pack would punish him for that. When he got to the feeder, he found that he couldn't focus on the person behind the glass, merely look down at his own tray.
"Have you finished your Training?"
"No," Charles said, the word feeling sour on his lips. He watched as a plate was set on his tray, it looked so bland and unappealing, he would've loved to be given a bowl like the others. "Well, make sure you fill out the proper paperwork. I don't want you getting in trouble, Dimitri."
His friend grunted in agreement, apparently he'd lost his appetite as he walked right past the feeder, rubbing at his head. "I'm gonna go now, you take care, Charles." Dimitri walked towards the elevator and hit the button, slipping inside while Charles took a seat at one of the few tables scattered about. There seemed to be more people kneeling on all fours, eating out of their bowls, than those sitting at the tables. Once again Charles felt a pang of something wrong, he wanted to be eating on all fours... but he hadn't finished his Training.
"What's wrong with me?" Charles groaned, leaning his face into his hands. Something was desperately wrong, he knew it, but for some reason the cogs weren't clicking.
"Charles, what's the matter?" Charles sat up as he recognized the voice, Kevin, but something about Kevin was wrong. Rubbing at his eyes, Charles knew that it was the guy from HR, but... not. "Hey there, you feeling alright?" Kevin sounded so kind, so welcoming, he looked... not right... and yet very right.
"Sorry, Kevin, I... my head hurts." Kevin reached out and patted Charles' shoulder with a reassuring paw, allowing the man to relax a bit and lean into it.
"You'll be okay, Charles, your Training will happen soon. Now... I was curious, where is Dimitri? I don't smell him here." Something about that line didn't seem quite right, but Charles knew that he could trust Kevin.
Looking over at the elevator, Charles felt that familiar ache in his stomach as he knew he'd done something wrong. "Dimitri left for the day, he said he wasn't feeling well." Kevin grew very still, his grip growing tighter on Charles' shoulder for a moment. There was a growl from Kevin, something that made Charles shrink away, but he couldn't get away with the strength of the other employee's grip.
"That's no good, Charles... but that's okay. We have guards on the doors, it's just a shame that Dimitri didn't go willingly. Theo will take care of him though, don't you worry. Now finish eating, and then you can return to work. Just like the Good Boy** **I know you are." That eased all of the tension out of Charles' shoulders, he found himself devouring the food, now faintly recognizing that his nostrils were flooded with that heady scent from before once more.
Time flew as Charles marched out of the eating area with the rest of the employees, standing in the elevator as he waited for it to reach his floor. Now he found himself impatient to return to his cubicle, to resume his work, to resume his Training. As they entered the workplace once again, all of the manager rooms were open, save for Theos'. Something about that made Charles nervous as he remembered Kevin's words, but he needed to return to work now. Sitting down at his computer once more, he started to type, though now he vaguely realized that at some point he'd stopped entering data figures. Instead he was typing something else, a series of words, ones engraved onto his mind.
Be a good boy. Don't disobey. Serve the company. Attend your Training. Sniff the Alpha's scent. Train to be a better Dog. Step into the next evolution of humanity. Embrace the Training. Be a good boy. Don't disobey. Serve the company. Attend your Training. Sniff the Alpha's scent. Train to be a better Dog. Step into the next evolution of humanity. Embrace the Training. Be a good boy. Don't disobey. Serve the company. Attend your Training. Sniff the Alpha's scent. Train to be a better Dog. Step into the next evolution of humanity. Embrace the Training.
Charles was rock hard, he'd been typing the same sentence down the entire document. When he managed to pull himself away long enough to look at the other data sheets, he saw that two of them were similarly filled. At some point his data input had switched over, how had he not noticed? His attention was grabbed by the sound of Theo's door opening, he recognized it by Theo's strong scent entering the room. When had he started recognizing them by scent? "Everyone, stand."
Theo's words brought near instant obedience, almost everyone stood immediately, others took a little longer to comply. Those furthest from the doors were the fighters, but even they seemed unable to disobey for long. Theo stood there in the doorway, Dimitri was at his side, gone was the fight from Dimitri's face. Something was wrong, Charles knew it, his friend looked... wrong. Once again his mind fought such thoughts though, he couldn't grasp what had changed, so he merely listened. "Dox here tried to resist, he was a Bad Boy." That elicited whimpers from all over the room as people shuffled back, Dox himself tucking his head down at the reprimand.
"I'm sorry." Charles could hardly recognize his friend in the defeated tone, Dox looked up to Theo looking like he was begging for forgiveness.
"Dox was quite rebellious, but he has been brought into line. For anyone else who thinks they can leave before they have completed Training, simply look at him and see how fruitless it is." Across the room everyone nodded, Charles could see as well, Dox had been caged. "Get back to your computer, Dox, learn how to be a Good boy." Dox walked to his cubicle hastily, eager to obey, Charles felt pity and delight for his friend as he knew that he'd been properly Trained now.
Charles sat back at his computer and started typing once more, allowing himself to fall into the rhythm. Names were called, one by one, everyone in the office was being Trained. The smell of the room became heavier and heavier as everyone started to contribute their own scent to the room, to the Pack. Charles was quivering by the time his name was finally called, it had taken so long, he wanted to be Trained. Sadly he wasn't going to be trained by Theo, he wasn't given that honor, but one of the others took him into one of the rooms and told him to undress. It didn't take much convincing by this point, Charles could see the words pressed across his mind, the white flashes stuck in his brain.
Be a good boy. Don't disobey. Serve the company. Attend your Training. Sniff the Alpha's scent. Train to be a better Dog. Step into the next evolution of humanity. Embrace the Training.
The trainer took out a collar, it was a red shiny thing, it looked more metallic than leather. Along the inside seemed to be some sort of circuitry, Charles normally would have questioned that, but he was unable. Instead he ducked his head and allowed the collar to be latched around his neck. Immediately his body bunched up as the collar snapped into place, a groan escaping his mouth as fur started to sprout up around the metal piece. "That's a Good Boy, don't resist, give in." The trainer's words made Charles groan in ecstasy, his cock was rock hard, he found his gaze lingering on the trainer's own hard red rocket.
Suddenly he could see, the power of his collar broke the illusion he'd been unable to see through before. The man before him was a dog, an anthropomorphic dog to be precise, he was just as hard as Charles felt. "That's it, Chuck, no fighting, just smell my scent. Take in the scent of Pack." Chuck shuddered as he did so, his body was changing fast, already he could see his nose pressing out before him in a surprisingly painless transformation, the soft pink flesh of human skin giving way to a black canine nose.
Drawing in his first few breaths as a dog, Chuck was able to really get a taste of the rich doggy aroma. "Fuck," he moaned, reaching down to stroke his still human cock. He quickly snatched his hand away though when the trainer chided him, he had to follow, he had to serve. Now was the time of his Training, the collar started to supply him with the information. The Dogs were there to help bring humanity forward, all over the world multiple branches of the new K-9 Corp would be sprouting up. The Dogs were apparently from some alternative earth, one whose inhabitants had been a hyper intelligent race of canines. They had determined that humanity often brought trouble without structure, so canine structure would be thrust upon them.
It all made sense to Chuck, canine structure was so much better, the Pack knew better than he did certainly. Briefly he caught the scent of Dox, his growing tail started to wag as he imagined his friend being brought into the fold, losing himself in the delicious selflessness of Pack. "Very good, verrry good," the trainer said, scratching between Chuck's new canine ears. Chuck whined in pleasure, leaning into the scratch, feeling the old human instincts melting away into a far more easily submissive personality.
"Do you have family, Chuck?" The trainer asked, immediately the german shepherd's mind flew to his brother, he grunted as he imagined his brother as a handsome g-shep just like himself. He nodded, not needing to speak, just needing to obey. "Good, we'll be giving you a bag of collars to bring with you, we expect you to start your family members on the path to being Pack."
"Yes, sir!" Chuck barked, his entire body rigid with anticipation at the thought. With a simple touch to his head, Chuck sunk on all fours, now eye level with his better's cock. There didn't need to be much instruction as he started to service the other male, taking in his hard canine shaft, allowing the musk scent to cling to his own body. This would help activate his own new scent, helping in the illusion that the collar projected to help keep humans unaware of the new species amongst them.
Chuck grunted and whimpered as he sucked and bucked, his own cock firing off several spouts of cum until his new doggy balls pumped out canine semen. His eyes were rolled to the top of his head, his tongue lolling out as he sat back, cum dripping from his muzzle. "You are a very Good Boy Chuck, you are now a member of the Pack." The trainer had him stand and leave the room, Chuck's tail started to wag as he saw the other members of the Pack. There were still humans interspersed in the cubicles, but they were less now, and as their eyes passed over him he knew that soon they would be Pack too.
Dox looked up at him, the doberman whimpering slightly as he pawed at his caged cock. Chuck felt a pang of sadness for his friend, but he knew that sooner or later he would be fully indoctrinated into the pack like Chuck had. For the moment, the german shepherd returned to his computer, looking into the screen as it started to flash once more.
