"And no one has made any ransom demands!" added Falco. "So, it can't be money whoever took them is after!"

"This is insane!" said Slippy. "Twelve people just disappeared without a trace, and none of them appear to have anything in common with each other, and no demands have been made! It doesn't make sense!"

"Indeed," said Jenny. "It seems we have quite a mystery on our hands."

"Well, we can't just wait around for someone else to disappear!" said Dead-Eye, throwing all four of his hands into the air.

"Wait! Perhaps that's exactly what we should do!" said Blinky.

Everyone turned to stare at the little robot in shock. "WHAT!?!" they all said in unison.

Blinky continued. "This humble robot has an idea! Perhaps the only way we're going to solve this mystery is if we wait for someone else to disappear, only this time we take precautions."

"What do you mean?" asked Krystal.

Blinky continued again. "If we hide subspace locator beacons on ourselves, then if any of us disappear, then the rest of us will be able to track them no matter where they are!"

Krystal wasn't so sure. "I don't like it. It's too dangerous!"

"Maybe," said Jenny, "But at the moment it's the only plan we have, and for all we know time could be running out for our missing friends."

"I think it would be a good idea to also place surveillance camaras in the crew quarters," said Peppy, pulling himself out of his dismayed state for a moment to contribute. "That way we can record exactly what happens if and when a disappearance takes place."

They all looked at each other, and slowly nodded in agreement.

"Alright. Let's do it," said Krystal.

In actuality, it seemed that on the other side of the dome they were in was really just the rest of the zoo!

And moving around throughout the corridor outside their window were floating wisp-like things that both Lucy and Bucky guessed were their captors. Some kind of noncorporeal lifeform that was clearly technologically WAY more advanced than them.

Bucky and Lucy took notice of the two individuals in another cell waving their arms wildly. Upon looking at them for a few seconds, they both recognized the two individuals with a start.

The readings coming from Jenny's beacon were going crazy! Wherever she was now, it had to be a great distance away, but nonetheless, he was definitely receiving the coordinates for her new location. The plan had worked!

"Location confirmed!" ROB said to himself. He then activated the ship's emergency alarm to wake everyone else up and inform them of what had happened.
