Talik feigned a smile at them. "Good morning to you two as well."

Polo happily walked forwards and greeted his fellow Pets. "Aiden! Alex! Nice to meet you again!"

The three would exchange a laugh, meanwhile, Sothist would look angered. He whispered spitefully in Ry'ken to Talik. " You didn't tell him!?"

Talik met his quiet animosity with his own. " Maybe, if you let your Pets use their phones, they could have told Polo himself."

The two ry'ken glared at each other, emitting a bad aura their Pets felt. Polo was quick to respond. "Uhh... Are you alright Masters?"

Alice quickly identified the root of the problem. "Oh! R-Right I forgot to say Polo. The last you saw me I was male... But, now I'm female! On my way least! I'm uhh... Still on the therapy..."

Polo's eyes widened. "R-Really?"

"Yeah! Master Sothist allowed me to go through with it! My name is Alice now!"

The kobold's eyes would light up. "Aww! Amazing! S-Sorry for not noticing..."

The cheetah chuckled happily. "Nawww don't worry Polo~! I'm still my same old flat-chested, twunk self. I just how have something else for Master to use..."

"Are you gonna complete it?"

"Ahh~ Polo! So many questions you have for my Pets huh?"

Polo yipped in surprise as Master Sothist slithered in front of him. The skink was only barely taller than him but still dwarfed by Talik and Aiden.

Talik was quick to catch his Pet before he could trip or drop his eggs. "Oop! Y-Yeah Polo. Let's not ask so many things right now..."

The kobold blushed in regret. "Oh! R-Right... I'm sorry... This isn't a Picnic..."

The hyena ry'ken gave him a loving squeeze. "Heh don't worry you're fine..."

While Sothist liked the interaction, the utter disrespect and informality of the lowly kobold soured his mood. The sooner this was done, the better. "Alright... Well, if you two are done~ Care to show me and my Pets what this lovely plan of yours is Talik? Or did you waste my and Captain's time?"

Talik quickly flashed his teeth, making sure only the lizard ry'ken would have caught it. " Right..." He helped stabilize Polo and then turned to the closed building. "Right this way..."

Lumosity Transport and Storage, LLC, Warehouse 61

The interior of the warehouse was nothing special. Talik loved this warehouse because it was both a relic of this planet's past and it was simply his own D.I.Y. Lumosity was set to tear it down, but he loved the space's antiquity and isolation that he made a deal with his boss to pay 75% of the upkeep on this place. Now he was able to use it for something more than just a historical research project.

Talik led his group to quiet corner where some old grey boxes were stacked. He clambered over the lowest one and helped Polo over it as well. Sothist followed suit, both Aiden and Alice helping their Master get over.

"So many physical safeguards huh Talik?", the skink ry'ken sneered after brushing himself off.

Talik looked back uncaringly "They're all necessary evils Sothist..." he gave the short ry'ken a smug smile. "If you didn't want any difficulties, you should have picked a different form... Perhaps one slightly taller?"

Sothist glared at him. "Grr..."

Talik turned away and kept walking, somewhat satisfied... Polo gave him another worried face as the group continued...

After another minute of walking, the hyena ry'ken would stop in front of a locked door.

"This door leads to some outer rooms. Back in the old days these were used to house priceless items. These old doors require either a key or combination depending on the model..." Talik reached into his pocket and pulled out his key. "This... Is the only way to get into this door..."

He turned around and locked door. Cooler air immediately rushed through everyone. Once the pressure was released, Talik began walking inside. Polo would shake off the cold a bit before following.

Sothist shook his head. He fucking hated his form being cold-blooded. "You two okay?"

Aiden and Alice nodded earnestly "Y-Yes Master!"

Oh... How I would kill to have been someone with fur... He would follow Talik in with his Pets close behind...

Warehouse 61, Breeder's Hatchery

As soon as Talik walked forwards, the lights to the hallway would turn on, revealing many doors. Some had names on them, others were empty.

"Welcome to the Breeder's Hatchery"

Almost instinctively, Polo, Aiden, and Alice would walk to their doors with happiness. All of them would open their doors to reveal private rooms with soft patches for the eggs to be placed.

Talik smiled with joy as he watched his precious kobold run into the room and scream in happiness. Aiden and Alice would do the same. Alas the heart-wrenching moment would be ruined...

As soon as both of the ry'ken's pets were out of earshot, Sothist would burst out laughing. "BAHAHAHA~! You call THIS a Breeder's Hatchery?"

Talik glared daggers at him. "Indeed... I do..."

Sothist continued but made sure to speak in Ry'ken. "I'm sorry Talik, but this has to be... Heheh~ The sorriest excuse of a Breeder's Hatchery I've ever seen! Hahaha~!"

"...And why do you think that Sothist?"

"I mean, in comparison to the ones back at home..."

Talik let out an exacerbated sigh. "Well... We're not home, are we?"

Sothist kept a snarky smile. "Of course~! We're here to break down these lowly wastes of oxygen give them something to serve..."

A guttural growl left Talik's throat. "They're more than just a lower species Sothist... They have ingenuity and smarts! Something our species could learn a thing or two from..."

Sothist gave an exaggerated shake of his head. "Tch, tch, tch. Talik~... Ry'ken are perfect. We mold others to fit our perfection... What do you think I did to my Pets?"

Talik got closer to the skink. "I think , you broke them to the point where they became mindless and still, after pushing them to their limits, you still have vibrators and cages on them anyways..."

Sothist would meet the hyena too. "I'm doing the bare minimum to them... No ry'ken would even bat an eye to what I have done..."

"Well... I do..."

"Teh... Such empty words hyena..."

Talik narrowed his eyes. " Hyena...** No... I know my brother told you not to, but I know what you want to call me...**"

Sothist remained unmoved. "Yesss... Captain did tell me to be nice to you... And I can sssee why..."

" Go ahead... lizard..."

Sothist got close to Talik's ear and whispered. "That little kobold has weakened you... _Try all you might, you'll still be his Master... So, do our unit a favor and treat him like the scum he is... _"

Aiden, Alice, and Polo

The three Pets were busy setting down their eggs in their rooms. Polo happily hummed to himself while doing so. "Hehe~ I still haven't decided on you three's names... I'll have to ask Talik what some good Ry'ken names are..." He lined them up evenly and gave each of them a hug. He would break from this third egg and blush at himself. Hehe. Look at me... I'm acting like how a kobold mother would treat her clutch... F-Fuck. If I was still in a warren, my clanmates would be laughing at me... The embarrassing thought both excited and unnerved him... If the Ry'ken's plan succeeds, everyone will get to experience this joy... I... I like that...

Aiden and Alice would do the same, only their room was shared. Alice would look up from her corner to see Aiden placing down his three eggs. "This is such a lovely gift from Master Talik~!"

"Yeah! This is great! I was honestly getting worried having my little goatlings in our refrigerator."

"Heh. "Goatlings"?"

Aiden blushed. "W-Well, I don't know if they'll be either goats or skinks, but I'll be a happy mother anyways... H-How's yours going?"

"Very good! To think I'll have four hybrids running around~... It's a thought I could only dream of!"

All three Pets would have their joys ended when a loud *crash* was heard. All three of them would quickly place the rest of their eggs and then run out to the main hall.

There, Polo found a terrifying sight. A medium-large, well-built brown hyena had a smaller pink and yellow skink pinned to the wall by their throat.

"TALIK!"

"SOTHIS!"

All three would run towards the altercation...

Sothist and Talik

Sothist remained completely calm as Talik kept him pinned. "Oh... Ouch... Well, that's gonna get their attention..."

Talik could hardly care. Sothist could insult and demean him all he wanted but the fucking lizard wanted to bring Polo into this. " Take back what you fucking said Sothist..."

"TALIK!"

"SOTHIS!"

The two ry'ken would look back at their Pets. Talik's heart sank as he saw tears beginning to well up in Polo's eyes. "P-Polo..."

Aiden had a look of both fear and anger. "M-Master Talik! Wh-What's the meaning of this?"

Alice's face would turn the same way. "Wh-What are you doing to our Master?"

Polo would cautiously step forwards. "Talik... M-Master... Why are you fighting another Ry'ken?"

Talik had no answer... He felt so lost... His own Love was looking at him like a monster... He-

"Ohh my Petsss~ Heh dearest Polo~... What me and Talik are doing is sssome simple Ry'ken roleplay... Our methodsss are lot more... kinky and violent than the trash acting this planet hasss."

Talik looked back in shock at the skink. Pheromones seemed to be emanating from him.

In just a few seconds the tense air seemed to dissipate. Aiden, Alice, and Polo looked confused at first, but their demeanors quickly relaxed.

Polo's mind felt heavy and weird. Master Sothist's words felt very relaxing, and the explanation made sense. His Love and Sothist hadn't met face-to-face in a while. Plus, last time the kobold saw them, his friend didn't begin transitioning. All of the thoughts seemed to connect together. It was a reality he was willing to accept.

Aiden and Alice felt the same way... They barely knew how their Master did it, but they knew he was fine. They let themselves relax somewhat.

"Hahhh~ Are we all in underssstanding?"

All three Pets would nod.

"Good Petsss. Go get your baskets~ Me and Master Talik will be out ssshortly..."

All three of their faces would smile happily as the Pet obeyed the skink ry'ken's request.

Aiden and Alice would pat all of their eggs and Polo would give each of them another hug. Once finished, all three of them would walk past the ry'kens and out of the door.

The two ry'kens would wait until their Pets walked out before Sothist would flex himself. "Ahh~ You're welcome by the way~..."

Talik broke himself from his panicking stupor glared at the ry'ken again. " You..."

"... "Are welcome Sothist! Thank you for saving my relationship with my kobold." That's what you're looking for Talik..." The skink gave him a smug smile.

Talik loosened his grip and looked down defeated. "You... Used your Gift?"

Sothist immediately jumped up and dusted himself off. "Yep! My whole days worth~!"

"But... Why?"

"Talik, I'm a Decadent piece of shit... The average Ry'ken... But I'm not heartless... It was one of the first things I was taught in Soldier training..."

"R-Right..."

"By the way, when you had me in that pin what did you think you were going to do?"

Talik looked at him with tired, empty eyes. "... I... I don't even know... You would have kicked my ass anyways..."

Sothist let out a chuckled. "Haha! That's why I'm the Soldier and you're the Historian and Planner..." Sothist got close to the hyena ry'ken again. " We all have our roles to play in this Unit. Don't get so lost in that boyfriend of yours that you forget our purpose..."

After saying that, the skink walked out of the outer room and to where the two ry'kens' cars were parked. All three of their Pets would stand in the front happily.

As soon as Sothist walked passed Aiden and Alice, the two would wordlessly follow. Polo would hear slow, distant footsteps and light up when Talik walked into the morning glare.

"Talik!"

The hyena ry'ken would begin tearing up at his Love. "P-Polo..." The two would hug for a few seconds before hearing a car starting and the loud sound of someone clearing their throat interrupted the moment.

Sothist looked at the two with a smile. Talik would quickly have a worried face as he checked for his keys and ran at the skink ry'ken's car.

"I-I nearly forgot... Here's Aiden's and Alice's keys..." he handed both of them to Sothist who would hand them to his Pets.

Alices eyes would light up. "Wow! W-Why us?"

"Ry'ken Breeding Protocols: Hatchery access is only for the creator and the Pets that use it. No other Ry'ken is allowed access to the Hatchery unless I permit it or, you two give them your blessing."

Sothist would add on. "As a Ry'ken, I don't really care nor need to keep track of the amount of hybridsss I pump into you breeding mounts. The only thing that mattersss is that you get them put here sssafely... Underssstand?"

Both of his Pets would blush and nod.

The skink ryken then turned back to Talik. "It's alwaysss a pleasssure working with you hyena..."

Talik met the tone with his own. "Same to you... Lizard..."

The two would exchange looks before Sothist pulled out of the lot and drove away...
