One Shots is, as the name might suggest, a format for really short and simple stories. They're basically a way for me to pump out an idea quickly, or to try out a few things without having to compose a larger project. Due to the nature of these one-offs, and considering they're often put together in just one sitting, quality might vary, as these go through a very limited postproduction, compared to my more serious works. I still hope, you will like some of the content!

Fitness Mat

"Alright, are you warmed up?" Coal asked cheerfully.

The lion nodded in acknowledgment. "Yes, Coach!"

"Alright, then look. This exercise is really simple..." the husky began to explain as he gestured down towards the ground, where Limon laid on his back. Casually Coal stepped onto the smaller canine's belly with both paws. The fennec moaned softly, but the coach didn't seem concerned at all. Opening his hands, Coal waited for his training partner to reach up and place his tiny, white-furred hands into his big, black palms. Tightly he grabbed them and went on with his instruction. "Alright, so you stand still, straighten your legs - make sure you have a good stance - and then..." Tensing his muslces Coal pulled the small fox up by his arms and thus, drove his paws deep into Limon's belly. "Stretch your back through all the way until you feel the burn. Hold the position for a while." Upping his game, Coal pulled even tighter on the fox beneath his feet, until his spine and shoulders popped.

"Aurgh! Uhhh~" Limon groaned in pain, but the powerful husky wouldn't stop. "Gourghhd... You don't need to put on a fucking, urgh... show for the newbie! Gha!" Limon growled between grit teeth, but the strain didn't subside. "Urgh, god, fuck...!"

"Hmph, see?" Coal grinned, holding his pose, just as instructed. "When you hear complaining, you're doing it right!" Mercilessly he bend the poor fennec around his toes. Limon's stomach was as flat as a pancake already. Then he let go and his 'mat' flopped down like a corpse. "Now it's your turn. Where is your training partner?"

The massive lion scratched his cheek awkwardly. "I, uh, guess this sorta sport wasn't for them after all..."

"Don't worry, you can have Limon for now. He's already warmed up anyway." Finally the coach deigned to dismount his partner, but only to make room for the new arrival.

"Ugh, hey! Don't I get any say in this...?" Limon grumbled, but was swiftly silenced by a black and white paw in his face.

"Just step onto his belly as I showed you. Don't worry, he's fine!" Coal instructed and eventually managed to get the timid lion to mount the fox. He felt a pained, muffled moan between his toes. Satisfied he knelt down and grabbed Limon's hands to pull them up for the lion. "Grab him by the wrists and hold tight."

"Urgh, c-coach...?" Limon gasped with the lion in position right on his petite stomach. "I think, Spencer needs a bigger training partner!" His belly was already flattened out under the heavy lion's broad paws as it was!

"Ah, well. Too bad," Coal said, peeking briefly over his shoulder. "You're the only one available right now." Adjusting Spencer's pose slightly, the coach eventually asked, "All set? Then go! Until you feel the burn, remember!"

"Hurgmph!" Limon gasped pathetically when the lion on top of him tensed his body in the way Coal had done before. In an instant the crushed fox felt Spencer's paws press right through him onto the cold floor. Like rubber his body bent around the lion's huge paws, folding and compressing his flesh and ribs until his torso stood upright. "Hh..." His spine, shoulders and arms popped as the big cat pulled on it like a tow truck.

"No complaining yet. Guess you need to play up!" the husky cheered from the side.

And just as his coach demanded, the lion stretched his back through fully and pulled harder on the squeaking an whimpering vulpine. Until... "Uh, coach?" he asked awkwardly and let the limp fox carefully flop down. "Is this supposed to happen?"

With a light frown, Coal looked down at the unconscious fox. "Hm, guess you really do need a bigger training partner..."

Rough Hook-Up

Confidently, but a bit nervous, Limon rung the bell. The long hall he stood in was empty, distant steps echoed from the stairwell, somewhere a story above him a vacuum cleaner was running and the occupant of the apartment behind him must be deaf, considering the TV's volume. Eventually the door opened and a lanky yellow bellied weasel in sweatpants and a black shirt with some sort of band logo stood in the frame. He looked down on the fennec, bored a bit cocky, the swell of beer hung around him.

With a casual smile, Limon meant to say something, but the weasel beat him to it. "Alright, you can get down on your knees and lick my shoes now!" he said with a clear, derogative sneer in his scratchy voice.

Taken aback, Limon's eyes flicked left and right. "Are you seriously going to make me do this before you even let me in?!"

"Do it, or leave. Your decision." the gruff man snapped.

Hesitantly the fox peered down onto the colorful blue and white sneakers that contrasted starkly with the rest of the guy's sloppy outfit. Right here in the middle of the hall, where anyone could suddenly walk in?! Was this ass serious? "Ah~!" Apparently he was, for the door between them was closing. "Alright, alright!" Limon grumbled and stopped the weasel, who simply stared the smaller fennec down with disrespect. Again Limon scanned the corridor with eyes and ears, then he knelt down.

Reluctantly, but kinda hurried to get out of the public, he pressed his tongue against the oddly clean shoe's toecap and dragged it across the leathery surface with folded ears. A weird chemical taste soon filled Limon's muzzle. These sneakers probably were still new.

Sweating from the fear of being discovered like this, on his knees, licking some other guy's shoes clean, Limon nevertheless continued until his host had enough. "Aurgh!" Rudely the weasel stomped his guest's head to the nasty linoleum and pinned it there.

"Now thank me for having you over!"

Groaning under the pressure on his skull, the fennec obeyed eventually. "Mmph... th-thank you fourrh letting me come h-heeer..." he mumbled with the guy's heel on his muzzle. "I, urgh... ap-preaciate the chance..."

Once released again, Limon followed the man, he only knew as Dennis, into his flat. Neither of them knew each other at all, beyond the brief contact they had online prior to this meetup. It was a thrilling and maybe even dangerous adventure for sure and the way Dennis had welcomed his guest was already promising. Though Limon should learn swiftly that, this time, he might have bitten off more than he could chew!

"So, how's this supposed to--" was all the fox got out before he was shoved to the floor. The slim weasel didn't look like much, but it apparently was more than enough to manhandle a petite desert fox. Quickly Limon felt Dennis' shoes on his body and he certainly wasn't timid to mount him at once! "Aurgh!" The tall mustelid swayed clumsily atop him, his hard rubber soles stomped and crushed over the fennec's front aimlessly until he found his balance. "Jesus fu-ucking Christ...!"

What followed was a merciless trampling session that drove Limon to and beyond his limits. Dennis was harsh and relentless, assaulted his flat, soft stomach in preference, but was certainly not sparing to work the squealing fox's body in its entirety. He marched over Limon's chest, stomped into his face, trod on his junk... At some point he found it fun to put his toecap square over the fennec's throat to choke him, while caving in his ribcage. Every time Limon tried to resist, he was put into his place by a series of particularly mean kicks that he'd surely feel for the rest of the week. It was torture!

He was treated first in shoes, then under Dennis' bare paws for longer than Limon dared to remember. He certainly shed more than a few tears and was pretty sure he heard the neighbor bang against the wall at least once to demand silence. At the end of his visit, Limon was a writhing, wheezing mess on the rank carpet that adorned the sleazy apartment.

Uncaring, Dennis delivered one final kick to the rolled up fox's back to make sure he was understood. "You can have a minute to pick yourself up, but as soon as me and my beer are parked in the recliner, you're fucking gone!"

Puss in Boots: Hasta la Muerte

The eery whistle that had followed him thus far and would haunt his ears forever after, resounded again and left everyone guessing, but him. It was Death, the hooded wolf, who stepped through the wishing star's barrier unharmed, coming right for him.

"Who's that?" Perrito asked with worry.

Unable to take his widened, green eyes from the figure, Puss revealed, "He's here for me" with a constricted throat, just before Death's two shiny sickles touched the ground and erected a wall of fire around him that separated him from his companions. Kitty's call fell on deaf ears as Puss trembled with the magic map in his paws.

"I've enjoyed the chase, Gato," Death's rumbling voice spoke as he drew back his black hood. A faint grin crept over his long muzzle. "But I think we've reached the end now, you and I."

The sickles, with his eight past deaths carved into them, clang together like a threat and Puss clung onto the map, its sparkling letters right there for him to see.

"You're gonna take the coward's way out?" Death asked with another playful swing of his weapons. "Run away to more lives?" And again Puss's eyes flicked down to the map. "Or you gonna fight?" the wolf offered and tossed the cat's sword over, which landed at his booted paws with a clatter. "Pick it up," he urged upon his approach with another swing of his blades, though Puss's eyes had a hard time to separate from the lives saving spell. "Come one, pick it up!" the wolf urged again, more vehemently this time, like he was eager for the fight.

Again and again his sickles clang together, like a clockwork. Like seconds passing. Time that's winding down. His time! And in fear Puss closed his eyes, hoping to see the solution, to find the way out. But he only saw himself, trapped in a shimmering crystal in the cave of lost souls beside eight others just like his. Puss in Boots, the legend, the myth, gone...

"Star light, star bright," he murmured anxiously, once his eyes opened again. This didn't have to be the end. He held the escape right in his orange paws! It was just one wish away. "First star I see tonight." Yes, he could wish for everything he wanted. His nine cat lives. Even more lives. Immortality! "I wish I may, I wish I might." He was Puss in Boots, after all. He laughs in the face of Death! "Have the wish I wish tonigh--"

The words got caught in his throat, when something flashed by. Bright, red eyes staring right through him, darkness all around them. Darkness that swallowed the wishing star's magic light and his friend's cries alike. Darkness that swallowed the fear and every other feeling. Darkness that swallowed everything, except those bright, glowing eyes and the last words Death held, before both vanished as well.

"You're not laughing now."
