Moving Out

Pt. 2 of the 'Stargazing' story series. I think i might make this a trilogy, but as always, if people want more, I'll try to think of more stories for the series.

I started writing, and the first sentence dragged me into it... I wasn't planning on writing the sequel really, the ideas just started flowing, and it's not like I'm going to let a perfectly good idea go to waste. Also, i wrote this without thinking of a title, so i just grabbed the first thing that came out of my mind...

Lance groaned when the alarm clock started its routine buzzing, determined to wake him up. He shifted his body so he was facing the alarm clock, and flipped the switch that would make it stop buzzing. Looking at the time on the digital clock, he saw it was 5:30, leaving him plenty of time to take a shower, make coffee, eat, and walk to his high school.

He stretched out his arms and kicked the covers off of him, letting the semi-cold air that surrounded him wash over his body. He shivered, why is the air so cold? Its summer! He sat up, and swung his legs over the side of the bed. He pushed himself up onto his feet, and stretched again trying to get the stiffness of sleeping in one position all night out of his body.

Lance walked to his dresser, and pulled out clothes for the day, and walked to the bathroom, grabbing a towel from the closet next to the bathroom. He knocked on the bathroom door, making sure nobody was in the bathroom before he entered. After a long silence, he opened the door, and closed it behind him, locking it by habit.

He turned the hot water knob, and waited for the heated water to start coming out. He glanced at himself in the mirror, last day of high school... I don't feel any different though... The thought ran through his head as he looked himself over, he still had the same silvery-white fur, the same hazel eyes, and nothing about him looked different, but everyone made such a big deal about graduating, like it made you an adult all of a sudden, at least everyone he talked to thought of it that way.

He heaved a sigh, and noticed that the water had finished heating up. He turned around, shed his boxers, and walked into the shower. After he had washed and conditioned his fur, he shut off the water, and grabbed his towel and dried himself off. Once he was dry, he put on his clothes and looked himself over in the mirror. His head fur looked like a mess; he frowned, and searched for something to comb it with. After he felt he was presentable for his last day of school, he bent down and grabbed his boxers and towel. With his towels and boxers in hand, he opened the door and padded down the hall to his room.

Once he got back in his room, he sat on his bed, and looked around, seeing memories all around him, a picture strip of Drake and him from a picture booth they had come across in the mall one day, a certificate in programming the high school had given to him for winning a contest. His age-old soccer trophies from when he was a kit, the room's contents brought a flood of memories, good and bad, back, maybe something has changed... he thought, as he looked at all of the contents of his room in a different light.

His phone suddenly started buzzing on his nightstand. He grabbed it and looked at the screen and saw a picture of Drake, his boyfriend of 5 months and accepted the call.

"Hey Drake, what's up?" Lance said after he put the phone to his ear.

"Nothin' much, just about to head out for school, you still gonna walk with me?"

"When was the last time I didn't walk to school with you?" Lance asked rhetorically, the two spent as much time as they possibly could together, studying, doing homework, and on weekends, their favorite activity, stargazing.

Lance heard a small chuckle on the other end, "That's true... well get your furry butt out of your house, I'll be at the spot in a minute." Drake said, and added in an 'I love you' after a second.

"Love you too." Lance said, and then hung up and grabbed his shoes and slipped them on, then started walking to their meeting spot.

When he got there, he didn't see Drake, so he leaned on a tree near it and waited for the black cat to get there. He saw the cat walking up after a minute, then he walked over, then hugged him and gave him a quick kiss, "Hey kitten" he said, the nickname he had given Drake when they had first met each other had stuck, much to Drake's dismay, although he did get used to it.

Drake smiled, "Hey Lance. Come on let's get this last day over with, then we can celebrate the end of our high school lives at my house."

Lance nodded and they started walking to school. As they walked, they talked about their graduation and whatever popped into their minds. When they arrived at the school, they walked into their first period class. They had found that they shared most of their classes.

When the bell rang, the teacher just looked at the students, "It's your last day, talk, do whatever, just keep it school appropriate and we won't have a problem." When he said that, the students instantly split off into their groups and started talking. Lance and Drake moved to sit next to each other and they waved their other friend Pete, a snow leopard, over. Once their group of three was together, they started talking.

"Hey guys, excited about getting out of high school? After today we're college men!" He said excitedly.

Lance and Drake just smiled and nodded, saying 'yeah' they had both agreed that this wasn't all that exciting on their way to school, but they humored Pete, not wanting to ruin his mood.

"Just think. We'll get to pick up college girls now!" Pete said. He still didn't know that Lance and Drake were together, it just never came up, and the two didn't feel the need to shout it out to the world that they were a couple, so they didn't.

Lance and Drake just burst out laughing, leaving Pete confused, "What's so funny?"

"We-," that was about all they could get out before falling into another fit of laughter. For some reason the statement was hilarious to the two.

Once they had finally calmed down, and Pete's mutterings of 'it's not that funny...' died down, Lance explained, "It's just that we won't be picking up any college chicks, we're kinda... together."

Pete's eyes widened, and he looked at the two, "You- you're... you're gay?" he said, the last bit in a whisper, apparently trying not to announce it to the room.

"Mhmm." Lance said.

"Wow... I never would have guessed." He said.

"So you're cool with it." Lance said, half asking.

"Oh yeah, it's not like I'm gonna get mad as two of my best friends over something silly like that."

Lance and Drake were slightly relieved, although they didn't think Pete would mind, it was still nice to have it off their chests and have him accept it. The rest of the class was normal enough, students talking and the teacher reading a book at his desk. The class passed quickly, and Lance and Drake walked to their next classes, this time having to go to separate rooms.

The day passed swiftly, and soon the furs were dismissed from school for the last time until the next school year. Drake and Lance met up at the entrance of the school, and then walked back to Drake's house to relax. Unlike Lance's parents, Drake's parents knew about them, and accepted them for who they were, and not who they were attracted to.

Drake led lance up to his room, and they lay down on the bed next to each other, and started to talk about college.

"So we're driving there right? College I mean." Drake said.

"Yeah, are your parents seriously driving all of our stuff up there?" Lance asked.

"Don't be surprised, they're not just going for us, they've wanted to go to Colorado for ages now, they just never had a reason to go.

"So are we gonna try to get the same dorm room?" Drake asked, they hadn't talked about housing at all, and it had just dawned on him.

"Of course, I can't live without my kitten." Lance teased.

"And I can't live without my foxy." Drake retorted.

The conversation went back onto random topics, and the two talked well into the evening. Lance glanced outside and saw the sky was getting dark, "C'mon, let's go." He said, not needing to explain himself.

The two climbed out of Drake's window, and onto the flatter portion of the roof, and lay on their backs, looking at the night sky, when Lance had a thought, "How are we going to do this when we're in a dorm?" he asked, sadly realizing they may not be able to.

Drake thought for a minute, "We could always go out on weekends, and any time we have breaks." He said.

Lance nodded, "Yeah, you're right... I guess I'm just fussing over nothing."

"It isn't 'nothing'; I know how much you love this." Drake said, "Whenever we have the chance, we can go out and stargaze."

Lance smiled, "You're right." He said, and he turned to look at Drake. Drake turned his head, and saw Lance smiling at him, and couldn't help from smiling as well. The two kissed briefly, and looked back up. Lance pointed out a few familiar constellations, and then a shooting star came whizzing through the night sky.

"I've never liked shooting stars..." Lance said, "A glimmering bright light that streaks through the sky, only for a few seconds, just to tease the sky..."

Drake understood what Lance meant by that, after the months of stargazing with him, Drake could think like Lance did about the stars, to him, they represented the good things in life, and the black sky, the bad, and the shooting star, with its momentary light, represented a good thing that would never last, and just teased you into thinking there was a real 'star' there.

As it started to get late, the two started feel tired, "I guess it's time to head in..." Lance said after he heard Drake yawn.

"Guess so..." Both of them were reluctant to get off of the roof, wanting to stay just a little while longer and admire the sky. Lance got up and slowly made his way back to Drake's window, Drake following him down.

Once the two were back inside, they got into the bed, and pulled a sheet over their bodies. Once they were under the cover, Lance pulled drake closer, and snuggled up against him. Drake barely registered the action, almost instantly falling asleep from the exhaustion of the day.

As the weeks passed, the two started to decide what and what not to bring with them, finding it hard to choose at all. As the last few days before they left for Colorado flew by, Lance decided it was time.

He walked down the steps, thinking of possible scenarios for what he was about to do. When he finally summed up the courage to take the final few steps down, he saw his parents sitting at the table, talking in hushed tones. Once they say Lance, they shushed each other, and his father spoke up, "Lance, we want to have a word with you," Lance frowned, what could I have done? He thought; his dad only said something like that when he was angry at him for something.

Lance pushed the thought out of his mind, setting his focus back on what he was going to say, not wanting to get distracted. He sat down on the opposite side of the clean table. The old chair scraped loudly on the hardwood floors as he dragged it back to sit down.

"What did you want to talk about?" Lance asked, trying to stay on his parents' good side. He didn't want to be kicked out of the house for what he was going to say, but he had almost all of his possessions packed in a few bags in his room; he hoped it wouldn't come to that though.

"I know I've been hard on you through high school, and I know sometimes we can drive you crazy..." His dad started to say, oh god, the 'goodbye' speech he knew it was coming, but he didn't want it to be now, by the time his dad was done, he would forget what he came downstairs for.

"... So your mother and I just wanted to wish you good luck." His dad finished, but as Lance was about to say something, his dad put up a finger, silencing him, "I have a surprise for you, a graduation present, if you will."

Lance was suddenly quite interested, he had received a lot of money and cards for his graduation, which he was extremely grateful for, but he hadn't received anything from his parents, which had confused him.

Lance watched his dad leave the room, and come back with a large looking envelope, the size of a normal sheet of paper. His dad handed the envelope to Lance, Lance just looked at it for a second, until his dad spoke up, "Well, go on, open it."

Lance slowly opened the envelope, and spread the opening wider, sticking his hand in, and slid a paper out of it. He looked at it, and then couldn't help but stare in shock. On the paper was a picture of a small condo, with an address he recognized, it was right around his college; his parents had bought him a condo for his graduation present.

"There are two keys in there too Lance, one for you, and one for Drake." His dad said.

Lance was about to say something, when his mom spoke up, "You can't hide something like that from me, Lance, you're with him all the time, it wasn't too hard to figure it out."

Lance nodded, "Thank you." Was all he could choke out, emotions swelling up inside of him; he stood up, and hugged his dad and mom, tears forming in his eyes.

When Lance finally calmed down enough to realize he had a house, he ran up to his room, keys and paper in hand and grabbed his phone. He scrolled through his phone and found Drake's number and hit the call button. After a few rings he heard Drake pick up, "Lance? What's up?" Drake asked.

"I have some news, is it okay if I come over?"

"Yeah, of course it is."

"Okay, I'll be there in a minute." Lance said, trying to contain his excitement.

"Mom, dad, I'm going over to Drake's, I'll be back tomorrow." He said before he walked out the door, paper and keys in his pocket.

"Okay, honey, be safe!" He heard his mom call back.

Lance rushed out the door and started to walk to Drakes, and he had to restrain himself from running there at full speed. Lance arrived quickly, and knocked at the door loudly.

Drake opened the door, and let Lance in, curious about the news.

"What's up Lance?" Drake asked.

"Let's sit down first." Lance said, walking to the table.

"Hello Lance, how are you?" Mrs. Meleno, Drake's mother asked from the kitchen.

"I'm fantastic, and yourself?" Lance asked as he pulled two chairs from the kitchen table out for Drake and himself.

"I'm doing just fine, thank you." Mrs. Meleno responded, and then went back to cooking what Lance supposed was dinner.

"Come on, Lance, the suspense is killing me." Drake said.

"Oh all right." Lance said, "I got my graduation present."

"And?" Drake asked, "What did you get?"

Lance pulled the paper out of his pocket, and handed it to Drake instead of responding verbally.

"No way, you got a house?" Drake asked, wide eyed, staring at the picture on the paper Lance had handed him.

"Mhmm," Lance said, and then he pulled out the keys, "One's for you, kitten."

Drake looked at the two keys on the table, and back up to Lance, "Really?"

"I already told you, I can't live without my kitten." Lance said; the usual teasing tone he adopted when he used the nickname wasn't present this time.

Drake just hugged Lance, "I don't know what to say..."

"I don't expect you to say anything." Lance said, and held Drake in his arms. After a while, Drake pulled his head back, and kissed Lance.

"Come on foxy, let's go to my room." Drake said, tugging softly on Lance's arm. Lance followed Drake up to his room, when Drake opened the door, Lance looked into the room. Instead of the messy, book strewn room he had become used to, the room was bare, the walls no longer held shelves full of books, but plain walls.

"I know it's not like what it used to be, but at least it's clean now." Drake mused.

"For once." Lance said, grinning.

Lance closed the door behind him, walked over to the bed and sat down. Drake padded over to the bed as well, and sat next to Lance, "I didn't want to leave anything behind..." Drake said, looking at the almost-bare room, "It was so hard to choose what to keep with me."

"I had the same problem." Lance said.

"We have three more days until we leave." Drake said, "I think we should go into town tomorrow, maybe eat at that Chinese place we went to when we met." The two went to the restaurant often; the food was good and well priced.

Lance nodded, "Speaking of food..."

"Mom's making it right now; she'll get us when it's done."

The two kept talking about college, and their excitement. Drake's mom called them down to eat after a few minutes, and Lance and Drake got up and walked back down the stairs. When the two sat at the table, Drake's mom set the food on the table, Drake's dad must have been at work, because he was always there for dinner.

"So Lance, I overheard you talking about a house? What's the news?" Drake's mom asked.

"Well I got my graduation present from my parents, and they got Drake and I a house." Lance said, grinning ear to ear, still not over the fact that he had a place to live.

"That's some present, it's good to hear you two have a place to stay now."

"You wouldn't believe how relieved I am." Lance said.

"I can imagine." Drake's mother said, and with that, the three started to eat.

The last three days in the town the two had called home for so long didn't last long, and before the two knew it, they were headed for Lance's new condo. Driving to Colorado wasn't a fast process, but it was necessary, the two needed the car for classes.

The trip lasted a full day, and by the time the two got to the condo, they walked in completely exhausted. The house's furniture was sparse, but it was enough to live in. There was only one bed, not that the two minded. Once they dragged the things they brought with them into the bedroom, they collapsed onto the bed, and fell asleep before any words could be spoken.

Drake woke up, and looked around, the walls were painted a soft teal color, and it reminded him of a beach he had gone to as a kitten. He noticed Lance was no longer lying next to him, and he heard sounds outside of the bedroom. He pushed the sheets from his body, and shivered at the sudden cold. He brought his legs to the left of the bed, and saw a pair of slippers on the ground with a note in them.

'Drake, I found an extra pair of slippers that I packed, and I thought you might want them, the tile is cold!'

Drake slipped his feet into the fuzzy slippers, and then walked out of the bedroom to find out what the noises were. When he stepped into the living room, he saw Lance to his right. Lance was in the kitchen cooking something that smelled amazing.

"Hey foxy, what're you making?" Drake asked

"Just some eggs for my sleepy kitten."

"Mmm, sounds delicious, do we have any plans for the day?"

"I do want something from my little kitten." Lance said.

Drake knew exactly what Lance wanted, "Sounds like a plan to me."

The two continued to make idle chat while the eggs cooked. Once the eggs were ready, they ate them quickly, and then went back into the bedroom.

"So my foxy wants to give me his bone?" Drake asked as he groped Lance's semi-erect cock.

"Mrrr, yes I do" Lance said.

The two wasted no more time, the started to strip themselves of their clothes, letting them lie on their bedroom floor. Drake raised his tail up high, and walked over to the bed, giving Lance a really good look at his light pink colored tailhole. Lance let out a high pitched whine; he didn't like being teased like this, but Drake got a kick out of making the fox whimper for what was to come.

Drake got on all fours on the bed, and raised his tail as high as he possibly could, giving Lance a look that said, 'okay, I've had my fun, now screw me!' Lance couldn't say no to such a tempting offer, he grabbed the bottle of lube he left on the floor next to the bed, and started to pour some on his prick.

"Ooh, naughty foxy, you were planning this all along." Drake teased.

"Mhmm..." Lance said, only half hearing Drake's teasing. Lance poured some more lube onto two of his fingers, and then started to poke Drake's tailhole, slickening up the entrance. He pushed his fingers into the hole further, and when he reached his second knuckle, he pulled back out, and started to thrust the fingers in and out, preparing the hole. Once he felt Drake's tight tailhole was ready, he brought his lubed-up cock to the entrance, the tapered tip already separating the tailhole slightly. Lance pushed in slowly; making sure his mate wasn't uncomfortable with the pace he was setting.

Drake took the whole 8 inches without so much as a flinch. Lance left his cock buried in the hole so Drake could adjust to the throbbing member. Once Drake gave him the okay, he started to draw his member out, and pushed back in, receiving a pleasured moan from Drake as his tip hit the prostate. Lance's cock was surrounded in soft silk that was holding his erection snugly, and pulsing as he continued to violate it. Lance was already getting close, the pleasure of mating Drake was wildly intense, the superheated hole was gripping Lance's member tightly, warming him from the inside out.

Lance somehow forced his impending orgasm to wait a while longer. Drake was panting loudly, the mating was becoming rough, and Lance was now slamming into the warm hole, and slowly pulling back. All of the attention to his prostate was making Drake go over the edge, and his orgasm let loose, spurts of cum flying from his member, straight onto their bed sheets. When Drake came, his hole got even tighter, prompting Lance to pull back for one more thrust. When he thrust in, his knot, which had been bumping into Drake's tailhole, was pushed past the walls, making Drake give out a yelp of pain and pleasure.

Lance's tying had done it, and he was now spurting his seed into Drake, and filling him up, some of the cum had forced its way past Lance's knot, and stained his crotch-fur with the sticky fluid. The two lay down, "Looks... like we'll... be stuck for... a while..." Lance said in-between pants, "Are... you okay...?"

"Never... been better..."

The two laid down on the bed, spooning until Lance's knot shrunk. Once it had, Lance pulled out, and dragged Drake to the shower, "I think this is going to be a great few years of college." Lance said.

"Me too, as long as it's with you." Drake said, and then the two got into the shower.
