From The Ashes- Part 15: Guard Duty
Barely a month had passed before the Flagship Chellius was ready to depart. Veronica, Jared, Fuse, and Zach donned their hopper suits. The humans wore a modified hopper suit, reminicent of a military uniform but customized with the standard Hopper equipment they would need. The regular Hopper suit were not sufficient enough to mantain the human's body heat through the Aether gates due to a lack of fur. Sitz and Gorgon were already on orders to the Chellius Ambassador quarters.
Jared shook his head at the thought. Being put on detail to guard the Ambassador's quarters wasn't exactly a detail Jared was envious of. The thought of being forced to do nothing but stand in a hallway and watch over the doors to Ambassador's quarters was not something he wanted to endure. Jared, Veronica, Fuse, and Zach, as the Confederates with the most experience on alien worlds, were on the forefront security to scout the planet before the Ambassadors came down from the ship.
As the nature of their voyage was only to begin once the Chellius made it to the Lost Planets, the two Bonded couples were given free reign of the Chellius until first contact was made. Jared walked over as Fuse typed in the coordinates into the Hopper console. A blue portal opened up and the Planethoppers stepped through. A woosh of blue light in a black darkness was all they saw as their core was pierced with cold. No matter the distance, Planethops were always mercifully short, but they were all unbearingly cold. They found themselves transported to a small moon above Trillious Prime. The group arrived in a terminal reminiscent of an airport. Small carrier transports ferried groups of Confederates back and forth from the Chellius. Jared looked at the massive flagship. It was larger than any spaceship he'd ever seen on Earth. It looked more like a cruise liner than a spaceship. Indeed, Jared was reminded of a large shark when he looked upon the Chellius.
"Wow..." Zach said as he marvelled at the spaceship, something he'd only ever seen in his dreams. Fuse merely smiled, "Impressive, isn't it?" Veronica gave the ship a passing glance, not so marvelled at the Confederate technology. She'd seen many more marvels in the old days when Confederate scientists worked hard to produce such creations annually. She'd seen diplomatic vessels before. They were designed to impress. They were designed to show off Confederate technologic advancement and production. She fully expected the Chellius to be a selling point to the Lost Ones. "Theatrics, is all." Veronica said flatly, "No thought to defensive capabilities...we'll be very vulnerable flying so close to Swarm territory."
Jared shrugged, "You informed the Council, right?" Veronica scoffed. "Yes I did. The notion was dismissed that the mission was too important to let fear of the Swarm dictate council movement. Besides, apparently that a heavily armed warship wouldn't convey the message of peace we wish to bring to the Lost Planets. They said that the duty to repel Swarm soldiers is up to us. The Chellius is heavily armored to assure that we can get to the Lost Planets even if we come under heavy fire. The engines also allow for extremely fast travel if we do run into trouble. All in all, the plan is very thorough, I just don't like the idea of taking so many ambassadors so close to enemy territory..."
Zach gave a thought, "Just how many people are going, exactly?" Fuse spoke up, "I think around five hundred to crew it. The Ambassador and her attendants. Us as the security. Enough room to accomidate one thousand Lost Ones returning home with us. I think it can hold up to fifteen hundred people comfortably."
Zach looked from Fuse to the Chellius. "That's a big ship."
"It's a big mission." said Veronica, amused. "Well, shall we get on the shuttle and explore? We have quite a trip ahead of us."
Jared walked up behind Veronica, smiling a little as he squeezed Veronica's round bottom. "I think I'll enjoy the trip at least." Veronica pressed herself against him and grinded against a rapidly hardening part of Jared's anatomy through his clothes.
Zach cleared his throat theatrically. "Do I even need to tell you to get a room?" Jared chuckled, "You might. Veronica does have a habit of not caring about being descrete." Veronica turned to hug Jared and wrap her tail around his thigh. "Though I'm not the only one with that kind of track record, am I?" She said with a wink to Fuse.
Fuse blushed and she walked up behind Zach and hugged him from behind. "Can I help it if the Training Room is nice and secluded." Jared chuckled, "Secluded to non-Hoppers. To those with clearance to use it, it becomes a lot less private... Especially to those practicing...liberal use of Aether. "
It was Zach's turn to blush. "Fine. You don't have to get a room. Just preferrable someplace not packed full of Confederates." Zach turned to the shuttle terminals, "So which one is ours?"
Fuse and Veronica led the boys to their terminal. A special transport for Hoppers, and since Sitz and Gorgon were already on the Chellius, the couples did not need to wait. They boarded the small transport and set toward the Chellius, which loomed in orbit around Trillious Prime's moon. The closer they got, the more Jared found himself more reminded of a whale than a shark, the sheer mass of the spacecraft dwarfing most airplanes Jared had seen.

Already in position on the Chellius, Sitz took his shift standing outside the Ambassador's quarters, agreeing to take first shift out of a favor owed to the large ox. The orange fox leaned against the wall, rifle resting in its sling on his shoulder. He shifted his weight, letting out a large sigh. The first shift was to greet the Ambassador onto the Chellius, and Gorgon was never one to formalities. In fact, the large Ox scoffed at the thought of having to babysit the Ambassador. Sitz, on the other hand, didn't mind. Having first shift meant having the most eventful shift, and therefore he'd be less bored. He figured the more eventful the shift, the faster his duties would be over, letting him explore the Chellius' recreational facilities. He felt a bit guilty for not inquiring further into what the Chellius offered in the forms of entertainment.
"Hooo, boy." Sitz said, already growing bored. He took his weapon, performing a few maneuvers of aiming his weapon down each of the halls out of sheer boredom. "Pfft, like anything is going to harm the Ambassador, I mean, it's a Confederate ship. No Swarm will ever see the inside of here, right? Right." Sitz said, talking to himself to alleviate the silence that permeated the empty cabins.
At the sound of approaching footsteps, Sitz trained his weapon at the floor, assuming a guard position at full attention. His stiff posture was only short lived as he realized the oncomming footsteps only belonged to a lovely otter girl pushing a cart full of cleaning supplies down the hall. "Doing some last minute cleaning?" Sitz mused. The otter cheerfully smiled back, "Just re-inspecting some of the rooms one last time before the guests arrive." She continued down the hall, a slight spring in her step that accentuated her attractive butt as it swayed back and forth. Sitz found himself staring as the girl walked off, he felt a voice rise in his chest to say something, but was abruptly stopped by a voice behind him.
"Girls," said the voice, causing Sitz to almost leap out of his fur. He grabbed his rifle and wheeled around to see a sleek black panther clad in a red and gold robe flanked by four girls. A lioness, a tigress, a female lynx, and a lovely snow leopard wore similar garb and grinned wryly at Sitz. All five cats looked upon Sitz with a predatory hunger, their toothy grins piercing Sitz' confidence and leaving him speechless as he looked at their razor sharp teeth. "I think our guard saw something he likes." said the panther in the most ornate robe.
The four servants giggled at the panther's words, each of them seeming to lick their lips at the poor fox. "I-I-I'm sorry, Ambassador. I didn't mean to-...I. You see..." The five cats only seemed to revel in Sitz's uncomfortable stammering, and indeed, the pantheress only seemed more amused by each stutter. Sitz felt frustration growing beneath his embarassment, and took a deep breath, steeling his resolve. "Ambassador, I am Sitz, Planethopper Second Class. I have been assigned first duty in watching over your quarters. It is my job to ensure your saftety, and it is an honor to be allowed to work with such a renowned person as yourself."
The girls only giggled more at this, except the Ambassador, who maintained a bemused smirk at the fox. The girls whispered to themselves, albeit not low enough for Sitz not to hear. "He's a cute one."
"I know. We haven't had one like him before."
"My my, girls. Perhaps the cruise won't be so droll after all, hm hmmm."
"I know. I certainly plan to have my fun."
"I'm afraid you'll have to wait in line."
"You first!"
The whispering grew more fervent until the Ambassador held up a paw, silencing her subjects. "Girls. Now now, let us not play with the poor guard. He is not your toy." Sitz found himself transfixed when the Ambassador spoke. Her voice was seductively low, but full of an inner strength that led him to believe this was not a woman to be crossed. Sitz also found his eyes wandering to the pantheress' curves. The ornate robe did well to hide most of her figure, but the parts that shone through found Sitz having difficulty to stop his mind from wandering. Indeed, it was all he could do not to embarass himself in front of the Ambassador and her consorts by getting incredibly aroused. Sitz found himself eyeing the subtle curve of the Ambassador's robe over her breasts, and in fact found himself jerked back to reality when the Ambassador spoke again.
"Girls, you have your assignments, Please see to them." the Ambassador said, not taking her eyes off of Sitz' for a moment. The girls had another fit of giggles as they dispersed. Sitz took a step back and reached into his pocket. He produces a key and offered it to the Ambassador. "The key to your room, ma'am." He said as politely as possible. The Ambassador merely smiled. "It is customary for a man to open the door for a lady."
Sitz felt his face flush. "O-o-of course! Of course!" He fumbled with the key, his hands shaking from nervousness. He dropped the key and silently cursed himself as he bent over to retreive it. He could feel the Ambassador's eyes watching him every second of the process, and he couldn't help the feeling that she wore the same bemused grin with each shudder of his spine. He took a deep breath, fitted the cardkey into the scanner, and the door swung open.
"T-there you are, Ambassador." The pantheress merely continued to smile. "Might I ask you a question, young Sitz?" Sitz nodded, "Anything, Ambassador."
"How is one supposed to protect what they cannot see?"
Sitz took a step back. "Uhhh, I'm sorry?"
"It's a simple question. How do you propose to protect me if you cannot see me?"
"Ambassador, security is just a last-line precaution. I mean, in the event of a Swarm breach, I will hold them off in the corridor, which are built in a strait line to funnel them-" Sitz was cut off as the Ambassador raised her paw again.
"And if I am to take too large a bite from a meal I take in my quarters? If I suffer from an unforseen medical complication and faint? You will merely be waiting out the door, unaware of my plight and unable to call for help. No, I demand you stay in my quarters for the duration of your shift, Guardian Sitz."
Sitz couldn't believe his ears. A personal invitation from the Ambassador herself to keep her company? Sitz was not one to refuse such an offer, especially when the Ambassador was so alluring. "It would be an honor, Ambassador." Sitz heart races as the Ambassador entered the room and closed the door behind her. "Call me Tabetha." the pantheress said as Sitz put down his rifle on the ornate red couch.
Sitz shifted his weight as he watched the Ambassador walk over to her bed and sit down. "Just like these uptight Council Members. The room is as luxurious as can be. But take a look around you, what's wrong?"
Sitz looked around. The holographic screen behind the bed displayed a number of images, currently set on an image of the surrounding star systems. Indeed, the planets on the screen shone vividly and the view displayed looked rather stunning. His eyes swept passed the mink comforters over satin sheets on the king-sized bed, passed the ornate wooden furniture and the inviting couch. "Is there a problem with the accomodations, Ambas- Tabetha?" Sitz corrected himself.
Tabetha sighed, "There's nothing to actually DO." Stiz swept the room again. Indeed the furnishings were luxurious, but unless one was inclined to sleep or sit on the couch in silence, there was very little in the forms of entertainment. "That...that's true." said Sitz, not finding anything to say. Tabetha sighed again. "Of course, the life of an Ambassador can be boring. Playing courier between the various Guild factions. Always traveling, but nothing to actually do."
Sitz looked at her sympathetically. The Council dealt with major issues that affected the Federation as a whole. But debates and relations between individual Guilds were handled by Ambassadors like Tabetha. He cleared his throat. "Well, the Chellius comes equipped with a few venues for entertainment, Tabetha. Perhaps you could visit them?"
Tabetha merely grinned her toothy, predatory grin again. "You see, I already have something I would like to do." she said, pulling her robe down her shoulders, revealing an ample amount of cleavage to the young Planethopper. Sitz took a tentative step back. Tabetha looked at Stiz seductively, "What's the matter? I'd ask if you weren't into girls but I've already seen proof enough of that as you oggled the otter girl outside my room."
Sitz flushed again. "No, it's not that...it's...what if someone finds out."
"Then I'll make this easy for you." said Tabetha wryly. "Sitz, Planethopper Second Class, I order you to come sit with me." Sitz shivered visibly as he walked toward the bed and sat down next to Tabetha. "Okay..." was all Sitz could manage to say.
"Relax." whispered Tabetha, who slipped the robe the rest of the way off, revealing her ample breasts as she moved to behind Sitz. Her paws started to massage Sitz shoulders. "That feels amazing, Ambassador."
Tabetha smiled, leaning on Sitz and letting her breasts press into his back as she rubbed his shoulders. "You're awfully tense for a guard. It's a wonder you haven't pulled something yet." she said seductively. Stiz took a deep breath and chuckled, "The rifle can get heavy sometimes."
"You poor thing. Well, let us see if we can't release some of that built-up tension, no?" Tabetha cooed into Sitz' ear before nibbling it a bit, teasing it with her sharp teeth. Sitz twitched, and Tabetha chuckled. The pantheress dropped her hands, extending her claws a bit to tickle Sitz back through his hoppersuit. She worked the zipper and slid his suit off with ease, Sitz shifting position to allow easy removal.
Tabetha felt Sitz' breath quicken as he sat there naked. "Nervous?" she asked, more than a little amused. Sitz gave a wary chuckle. "A little. Here I am, naked with the Ambassador..." Tabetha maneuvered back behind him and whispered in his ear, "Well let me put you a little bit more at ease."
Tabetha's hands snaked around Sitz' stomach and started massaging his thighs. Sitz gave into the sensation and soon, his shaft was peaking out of its sheath. "Enjoying it, are we?" cooed Tabetha. "Undoubtedly so, Tabetha." Sitz said, taking deep breaths. He gasped as Tabetha started tickling his shaft with her claws, her other hand massaging his sack with a gentle attention. Sitz felt his shaft go fully erect as Tabetha grabbed the tip and squeezed. A drop of pre slowly formed and Tabetha rubbed his member some more. "Oh my, so hard are we?" Tabetha whispered in his ear as she grabbed his shaft in earnest.
Sitz gasped again as the warmth of her paw enveloped his eager member. He gave a slight moan as Tabetha started pumping, her other hand caressing his balls. "Damn, Tabetha...you're good at that."
"Am I now?" she whispered, "Well I'm glad I'm not out of practice." Tabetha continued to stroke his shaft, increasing her pace as Sitz increased his breathing. She elicited a whimper as she tightened her grip. Tabetha concentrated on pumping the lower portion of his shaft as she felt his knot grow in her hand. "Someone's getting close." she seductively cooed into his ear. Sitz only nodded, now faintly humping the attentive hand generously applying themselves to his member. "Come then, Guardian. Come for me." Tabetha said as she rubbed behind his knot vigorously. Sitz took in a sharp breath as his shaft contracted, releasing his pent up seed all over the Ambassador's carpet. Tabetha kept pumping away as the flow ebbed, looking at the modest pool of semen on her floor. She squeezed his shaft from base to tip, pushing out one last drop of foxseed. "Hgh!" Sitz twitched again, his member really sensitive from the attention. "Not hurting you," Tabetha cooed, "Just taking you for all your worth."
"You came a lot... I'm guessing this doesn't happen to you a lot, does it?" Tabetha asked, grinning from ear to ear.
Sitz embarassedly shook his head. "Well that's not good. You know, its not healthy to hold it all in, Guardian Sitz. No, I need my Guards in tip top shape. We shall have to release your tension at least... twice a day. Is that understood?" Tabetha said, her authoritative voice returning despite the amused smile. Sitz nodded his head, "Yes, Ambassador." Tabetha scooted over to lay on the bed, her legs spread wide.
"Your duty is not complete, Guardian. If there is one thing I cannot abide is selfishness. Come here."
Fuse crawled over to her, licking his lips in anticipation. "Yes, Ambassador."
Guard duty might not be so bad after all, mused Sitz.
