Chapter Ten: Weapon's Training
Koruak woke up the next day at about three pm. His cock was sore and he was slightly tired, but very sexually gratified.
He sighed contentedly; his half sister cuddled up next to him, looking beautiful. She was still sleeping; but with a smile on her face.
"Well; I'd say last night was very, uh, very gratifying, wouldn't you Tarith?"
Tarith mumbled a bit but remained asleep, cuddling closer to her brother. Last night wore her out a lot. Being only 13, she had never had that much pleasure before nor had sex so many times in such a short amount of time. She was still naked but she didn't care. As long as it was her brother next to her.
Koruak smiled at her and kissed her; slowly getting out of bed, and silently, going into a different part of the house to start making breakfast.
He went to find a box and found the one that Tarith didn't put away. He found the microwave and a few boxes of instant meals that looked pretty tasty.
"Hm... how do I use it?"
he read the directions and followed them, and soon they were eating food that didn't really smell that great, but tasted delicious.
"Damn; if the food's this good, why doesn't it smell good?"
he read the back of the package and read; "Food has little to no smell to ward off any scavengers/enemies. Doesn't let anybody track you. For your safety."
Koruak chuckled slightly and then made another one using the microwave and had one for Tarith.
He went back into the bedroom area and put a tray of food in front of Tarith; hoping that would wake her up.
Tarith stirred and finally woke up at the smell of the food. She looked up and smiled at her half-brother and lover, "Why thank you. That is sweet of you."
She sat up and placed the meal in her lap, her nice sized, for her age, and perky breasts stood out on her chest and she sat cross-legged, leaving little to the imagination.
"I had fun last night. That was one of the most enjoyable nights I have had." she said while eating, loving the food as she ate with Koruak.
Koruak looked at her and smiled; "I thought you might. How many times did we go at it again total? Like, seven I think. Well; any rate; one or seven, it was still one heck of a great night."
Koruak finished his sentence as he put another mouthful of food into his mouth; chewing it and savoring the flavor.
"Kinda tastes like chicken and roast beef and veggies; but I know it's just pure protein and other necessities mixed in with some flavoring."
Koruak took a bite of food again
"Well; at least whoever made these made an attempt to make it seem like human food. Errr, whatever. But its edible and actually delicious, so I'm not complaining one dang bit here. So; after we eat-"
another bite of food before speaking again after chewing, "-Wanna work on weapons training?"
by then, he had finished his food and was cleaning his hands and getting himself ready for the day.
Tarith had also finished and nodded, "I would like that. Which weapon are we going to work on first?"
She was curious, and honestly a little scared. She never used a weapon before, but she was willing to learn. She had to know how to defend herself from rapes.
Koruak shook his head and said; "First; we are going to train your most valuable weapon, well, other than the one we used last night,"
Koruak made that joke and chuckled, but saw Tarith sigh and role her eyes at Koruak, and he went back to business.
"Anyway; the most valuable weapon you possess is yourself. First; we need to train you up on resisting male's advancements, and then how to hammer them hard when they don't give up.
Now; we can either walk a few miles to a field I know, or we can do it here and risk damaging a lot of things. And, well; we do have wings. So we could fly."
Tarith said, "My most valuable weapon is for our fun. And it's not that effective. And I wouldn't mind going to the field."
She walked to the box and pulled out the concealable pistol and a silencer, putting it onto the pistol and giving it to Koruak.
"We will be going outside. I don't want Ravil showing up with us unarmed."
Then she pulled out a crossbow and a quiver of arrows, strapping the quiver onto her back.
"I am actually good with a crossbow. I just could never get one before."
Koruak looked at Tarith and said; "We're not dealing in any guns, knifes, axes, swords, or anything like that. This will be hand to hand combat only, Tarith. I have to train you up on becoming a weapon. And I did meet a Navy Seal about three years ago. He taught me most everything I know about combat. That stuff I said about 'learning on my own' was a lie. Don't know why I said it, but whatever. So; I will only take the knife for defensive reasons if somebody shows up. But otherwise; weapons will not be our main focus of today."
He removed the silencer and put it on the bed. He reached for his handknife, and put it in one of his pockets; he had gotten dressed earlier.
"So; think you're ready? I'm not going to hand you a gun on your first day, Tarith. You're my sister, and lover, but we're not doing that, okay?"
Tarith sighed, "I meant you could pull it out if Ravil showed up. You know, scare him off. Or to shoot him. I'm bringing the crossbow in case he shows up so I can at least intimidate the guy. Other than that we will do your lesson based on how you want it. Trust me, Ravil won't be alone if he shows up, so take the gun. I would better our chances."
Koruak nodded reluctantly and said; "Well; you are the one who has survived on the streets for just as much as I have at least; so, your word is as good as mine. We take the pistol and the jackknife and the crossbow. We lock the place up and leave absolutely everything here locked up. And you'd better conceal everything. Don't want any UCG's on our asses."
UCG's was the abbreviated term for United Anti-Corruption Government.
How fucked up could they be; calling themselves that?
They hid the weapons, though the crossbow wasn't exactly easy to hide, but they managed, and they locked the door from the inside and crawled out through a secret entrance/exit and locked it from the outside and Tarith hid it with earth and vines and such.
Koruak looked at it and said; "Oh, nice handy spot."
Tarith nodded and said; "Yeah; thought I'd be able to escape if anything really bad happens. Or in this case; we."
Koruak nodded and then stretched his wings through holes in the clothing that were conveniently there.
"Huh; amazing how our wings can fit through these things in mid-flight."
Tarith nodded as they both took off.
Tarith looked at Koruak and said; "Remember the guy I was telling you about? Lil Bane? Well; he agreed to teach me hand to hand combat. So; this actually would be weapons combat."
Koruak sighed and said; "Well, fine, we do weapons training. But I'm not chasing after the arrows when you shoot them. But fine; you win."
Tarith nodded, "Thank you, and if we get a hill for backdrop the arrows would just fly into the hill. We could retrieve them later."
She flew up next to him and said, "Since my element can be used as a weapon, could you teach me how to use it too? It would be a handy little surprise if I lose my weapon and am pinned down."
Koruak looked at Tarith and said; "Uh, I only know Fire, I mean yeah I used your element once when I concentrated on you hard, but other than that, I don't know squat about earth. And I barely know squat about Fire either."
He sighed in frustration. "But you're right about the arrows. As for elements; no clue."
He pointed to a spot where they could land and be able to train, and they landed.
"Okay; first; I want you to start with deep breathing and stretching exercises, okay?"
Tarith landed, well actually crash landed, behind him. Her glasses flew off of her face and landed a little distance away, the lenses shattering upon impact.
"My glasses!" she exclaimed, no longer able to see clearly again.
Koruak cursed. "Aw, shit. That's great."
He sighed and hissed as he went over to the glasses.
He used his claws to dig deep into the earth; after digging for about a minute, he came back with a paw full of sand.
"Aha! Knew there was some sand under these fields!"
he put it in his paw and blew a blue jet of flame, the sand melted into a misshapen glass thing.
He pulled out a hammer and nail and started chiseling away a lot of the glass.
After about twenty minutes, he had made two new lenses for Tarith; he popped out the old and broken ones, and mended the frame with some tape that he had brought with him from one of the boxes.
And then he reinserted the new glass, gave them back to Tarith and said; "Well; uh, how are they Tarith?"
Tarith sighed in disgust and cast the glasses away, "That's worse than going without them. I know you tired your best, but it's just not enough. I'm sorry."
She leaned on her brother, wondering how she was going to learn without a pair of glasses to help her see. But neither one of them noticed the frame glow and disappear, the custom lenses and tape behind.
Koruak looked at Tarith and said; "Well; I did do my best to do so; but I failed. Damn; I'll have to make a request for a new set of glasses that are actual goggles so that they don't get as damaged. May cost us a bit, but you know; it happens."
Then he sighed and said; "Anyway; today is focusing on breathing exercises and stretching. Okay? When you are done stretching, you should be at least a little sweaty from it. We'll start with the basics. Neck, head, arms, legs, knees, ankles, wrists, and back. Okay?"
Tarith nodded and took a deep breath before letting it out slowly.
"I am ready."
........
ten minutes later; Koruak and Tarith were both stretched out, done their breathing exercises and were ready to move on.
"Okay, Tarith; first thing about the pistol is that you need to know it inside and out. Tell me all the parts that you know of this pistol and how they work."
Tarith looked at the pistol confusingly, "I don't know any of the parts. I never used a gun before."
Koruak looked at Tarith and sighed slightly. But he didn't make a joke or tell Tarith off, instead; he pointed out the parts of the gun.
"The silencer displaces some of the gases that come out, decreasing the range, yet also decreasing the sound from an earsplitting BANG to a soft pop. The bullet comes out of gun moves at an average speed, depending on the round and the gun it's shot from, 652 meters per second. the hammer is connected to the cocking mechanism and the trigger. The barrel holds the bullet to be shot. The magazine holds the bullets in reserve."
Then, Koruak corrected himself and said; "Scratch that; the chamber holds the bullet. The barrel makes it fly straight. The firing pin makes the bullet discharge."
When he was finished, he looked to Tarith and said; "Now that we know the parts; want to know how to use it properly?"
Tarith nodded, "Yes please. Oh, and everything you pointed at, I didn't catch that well."
She looked at Koruak, really wishing she didn't have these vision problems. But she would have to make the best of a bad situation.
Koruak stepped up to Tarith and grabbed her hand and helped her feel along the gun.
"feel that? That's the silencer."
He moved her hand back more to the barrel and said; "That keeps the bullet from going in random directions every time."
He moved her hand to the trigger, the safety was on, "That is what triggers the bullet from the hammer and firing pin; going to its target."
He moved her hand to the safety clipper and moved it down; "That's the safety. Meaning when that is on; the firing pin is disabled. Meaning instead of firing a bullet; it goes click. Pull it down to disengage the safety, pull it up to engage the safety. Cock the gun by pulling back on the top of the gun."
He flipped the gun around until it was in Tarith's hand; pointed at Koruak.
"Cock it, Tarith. And to un-cock it; eject the magazine-"
he moved Tarith's hand to the magazine and the button that released the magazine.
"and pull the cocking mechanism back again. The shell will pop out."
Tarith grabbed the top of the gun and pulled back like she was told. She heard a clicking sound and saw something small come flying out but she couldn't clearly see what it was.
"Was that the shell?" she asked.
Koruak nodded and said; "That was an empty shell. Not the bullet. The bullet is still inside."
Quickly, and almost imperceptibly, Koruak flipped the safety on and then returned to the same position.
"Now;" Koruak said, standing so the gun was in the middle of his chest, "Let's see if that thing works, Tarith. Pull the trigger."
Tarith couldn't see good enough to really know which direction the pistol was pointing and trusted Koruak. She pulled the trigger.
But instead of the bullet firing; there was merely a click.
Koruak looked at her and said; "There was a click, instead of the bullet firing, Tarith. And for the record; the gun was pointed towards my chest."
He took the gun and pointed it near Tarith; safety off.
"Tarith; stand still. This is a test."
He moved back about sixty feet or so; aiming the pistol mere centimeters from Tarith.
He shouted to Tarith across the field.
"Relax Tarith! This is a test. In order to know how to use a gun and react well enough to shoot somebody; you must first know how it is to be on the other end of it! I am going to shoot six rounds at you, twice! Stay still and try to pinpoint the sound! Okay?"
Tarith whimpered and nodded, actually scared. When she learned she had pulled thew trigger with the gun pointed at her brother's chest she was frightened. One false move and she would have killed him! Now he was going to shoot at her to make her feel what it was like to be on the other end? The thought of a stray bullet hitting her made her terrified.
Koruak took a deep breath and held the gun with both hands very steadily. He, unlike most dragons, didn't have a rapid heart beat, nor did he have wavering hands.
His aim was perfect, and he had used guns before.
He shot six bullets.
First three bullet was just centimeters from Tarith's skull, the right side.
The last three were on the left side.
Tarith heard the silenced bullets whiz past her and whimpered, but stayed exactly where she was.
Seven seconds later, six more bullets; all under Tarith's left arm; missing her by mere millimeters.
Nearly three minutes later, Koruak returned and said; "Now; do you understand what it is to be like prey? I have had experiences with guns; I know what it's like on both sides."
Tarith was shaking and whimpering badly, on the verge of emotional breakdown. She was terrified, and she didn't know what to say or do except stand there and shake in terror.
Koruak saw Tarith like that and he uncocked the gun and went to her; attempting to comfort her.
"Look; you know I would never really shoot you, Tarith. You are the bravest dragoness I have met in my life. Most people wouldn't even agree to that. Granted; they wouldn't get to use the gun, but, you stayed perfectly still, and didn't flinch. You did wonderfully well. I think we should go home if you're that upset, sis. Unless you want to do more weapons training; which I don't think you want to. You know how to use a crossbow; but not a pistol that well. Do you want to go to knife training? There's an oak tree not too far from here; just a ten minute's flight, that we can practice targeting with weapons and such."
He hugged her tight and kissed her neck. If Tarith wanted to hit him; Koruak would let her.
Tarith wrapped her arms around Koruak and said, "Just let me get over it. I had never been shot at before."
Then she flinched in pan and clutched her side. The arrow wound had not yet stopped hurting, and it sometimes made her flinch and hiss in pain.
Through the psychic link that Tarith and Koruak shared, and could sometimes use whenever there was extremes of a certain emotion or pain, in this case both, Koruak felt her emotional overload and her pain.
Koruak flinched in shared pain and kept both his, and her fear under control.
"Tarith; I have been shot at before. I have also dealt with gangs. Well, not colluded with them, but I have run into them on more than one occasion. They point guns, knifes, any type of weapon at you. And believe me; they will not miss."
He kissed Tarith and purred for her; trying to help her come down from her high of negative emotions.
Emotions that he had caused.
Tarith started to come down from her extreme terror and started calming down.
"Thank you. I needed that. Now, what is next?"
She was still hurting from her side but the pain was slowly going away.
A soft glow suddenly appeared on her face and the glasses, lenses fully intact and clean and frame straight and undamaged, appeared. Tarith gasped as her world suddenly snapped back into focus as she felt the familiar weight of the glasses on her.
"My glasses! They're fixed!"
Koruak looked at Tarith and did a double take, but he smiled and said; "That's wonderful! They must have regenerated! That's amazing!"
Then he looked around and then held Tarith's muzzle tightly in his hand; putting a finger to her mouth; telling her to be quiet.
He, very silently, whispered to her. One word; "Ravil."
Instantly, both dragons dropped down onto the ground; their scales, for once, blending in with the grass and dirt around them.
Koruak looked to Tarith and said very quietly; "our scales can look like the earth around us, thank god; but if Ravil starts getting suspicious, Tarith; you make a run for the house and don't wait for me. I'll find another way. Hopefully, we'll be able to keep low profiles and stay hidden."
Tarith, with the silence and grace of a huntress, pulled out an arrow from the quiver on her back, notched it into the crossbow, and locked the crossbow into firing position. She carefully pushed some of the tall grass aside to see what Ravil was doing, and how many dragons he had with him.
Thankfully, it was only Ravil. However; he did have an M16, a three-fire gun. But the problem with it was not its extreme accuracy; it was its Zero-foreign-matter-anywhere-inside-of-it that made the three-shot round guns, especially the M16, unreliable.
Koruak whispered softly to Tarith;
"Well; guess it's a damn good thing that you are a good huntress."
And Koruak pulled out the pistol and cocked it again, doing so very silently and aiming it straight at Ravil's neck.
Tarith placed her hand on the pistol, telling Koruak not to fire.
"I have an idea. He can't see us and as open as this place is it would be extremely hart to pinpoint our voices." she whispered.
She looked back and said loud enough for Ravil to obviously hear, "We got our weapons on you Ravil! What do you want?"
Ravil, startled, turned around, holding his M16 up to his eye.
"Where are you bitch!? I'm not done with you pussy! Time for some more of that fuckin rape!"
but he couldn't pinpoint the voices, just like Tarith had predicted.
Tarith yelled back, "You don't get it! I'm not giving myself up to you! You hurt me and my brother! I won't let you have it!"
Ravil laughed, still searching for Tarith.
"Oh? So you'll shoot me and get it over with? Well, I tell you bitch! Not gonna fucking happen!"
he started shooting all over the place, but missing every time. It was only by a lucky chance that only one of the bullets actually hit Koruak in the ankle.
But instead of screaming in pain; Koruak only gave his cry in a very restrained whimper, hissing in pain quietly.
"Tarith; shoot him. That fucking hurt!"
Tarith shook her head, "He can't see us. But if I shoot, he will pinpoint our location. Also, we don't know how many people are on his side. We could end up facing a gang of 20 if we kill him. I won't risk our lives that way."
Then she yelled, "You can't find us Ravil! We have advantage! However, we seek the end of your constant torment! Stop shooting and listen to our proposal!"
Ravil reloaded, and then stopped, and then said; "Fine! I'll listen to your proposal! But it damn well better be a fucking good one bitch!"
He growled.
Tarith yelled, "You want your revenge on me! Well in return for handing myself over to you, you will not seek any vengeance upon my brother, and you will leave us in peace for the remainder of your life!"
Koruak growled at Tarith and whispered silently; "Goddamnit, Tarith. Stop offering yourself to him! You're my girl."
Koruak gathered himself and roared, jumping up and running over to Ravil. When he got there, Ravil tried to fire, but his gun was jammed, which gave Koruak all the time he needed.
Koruak started hitting Ravil in the face, then pinned him to the ground.
"I have a new offer. You want revenge on me, not Tarith. So; how about we give eachother a good fuck, you leave Tarith, my Tarith, the fuck alone for the rest of your life! I am done with you chasing us all the time. So; either you can fuck and be fucked, or you can die right fucking here, bitch! Make your choice."
Koruak pulled out his jack-knife and put it at Ravil's throat.
"Make you move."
Koruak growled at Ravil.
Tarith got up, ran over, and slammed the crossbow into Koruak's temple strong enough to daze him.
"I guess that deal is done. Here's the real deal. Leave us alone, or we kill you."
She shot the arrow into Ravil's leg as a warning. She was done with this, and him. And she was fed up with Koruak constantly thinking with his emotions rather than his head. She pulled Koruak onto his feet and half led him, half dragged him away.
Koruak fell to the floor, his head bleeding a bit from the impact of the crossbow hitting him.
And Ravil screamed in pain from having his leg torn with an arrow and being pinned to the ground.
"I-I'll get you for this bitch!"
and he stayed there and finally bled until he passed out from his wounds.
Koruak was unconscious for a while. And he woke up to see Tarith's face over him.
He was in her house.
Tarith had put a rag to his temple when they had gotten home and she sighed, "I'm sorry for doing that Koruak, but I didn't want you doing that for me. I had the crossbow but he was too far away for me to get an accurate shot without killing him. I wanted to give him the real bargain when I was close enough. Leave us alone or die. But I am also upset at you. You didn't think with your head. You have a brain, but you aren't that well adept at using it. Don't rush to judgement and most certainly don't pull a stunt like that again."
Koruak growled and didn't respond, only got up and went out the door, leaving Tarith until he cooled his head.
He slammed the door behind him, letting Tarith know how pissed he was.
He took to the skies with his wings and stayed up there for a long time; ignoring Tarith's psychic link and her telling him to get down.
"I teach her things, I help her, I rebuild her fucking house, I save her from being raped, and she does that? Fuck her for now. She can get raped right now as far as I'm concerned."
He snorted and kept flying, not going anywhere in particular, just flying.
It was a good feeling, and helped start to ease his fowl mood.
Tarith sighed and sat out front for a few hours waiting for him to return. When she didn't get anything but rage from him, she finally got up and headed into the town. She honestly knew it was a bad idea since she knew she would get raped, but to her being raped was better than feeling her brother's anger towards her. If she thought it would make him feel better, she would let him rape her. However when she had thought about it she had figured it would make him feel guilty for doing such a thing to her. She crossed into the city and just started walking around. She would wait until he was cooled enough and asked her to come home.
Koruak finally landed in the field where he found the oak tree and practiced with hand-to-hand combat.
He didn't use any gloves since in real combat nobody used them.
So he started punching and kicking the living shit out of the tree in his cold anger, and kept it up for the next four hours.
When Koruak was done; his knuckles were bloody, and maybe a bone or two had been cracked, but he was sore all over from the strenuous activity and finally gave up on the tree.
"Well; for a nearly as old as the earth itself tree; you sure as hell can take my anger. And that says something."
He chuckled and panted, then reset a few of the bones and they started to heal.
Koruak flew back into the house, hoping to find Tarith and see if he could apologize, but she wasn't there.
"Oh, damn it Tarith; well, guess you can't stay in one place for too long."
He sighed and looked for her in town.
He finally found her bartering with somebody for another thing of supplies.
She turned around and found Koruak standing there; about ten or so yards from her.
"Uh, well, Tarith; it's nearly sunset; I, uh, I think we should go home now. Right Tarith?"
He was hoping for some sort of reaction from Tarith.
Tarith finished her bartering and walked over to him, "Okay, lets go home. I'm glad to see you have finally calmed down from your ordeal. And for once I came into town and didn't get raped. But I wish I had been. Anything would have been better than constantly feeling your anger."
She stayed next to him as they walked home, Tarith wondering if she could do anything to help him.
Koruak snorted slightly and said; "It was rape that started my anger, Tarith. My father, well, our father, was extremely protective. Combine that with my mother's anger and cruelty; then you have me. It is hard for me to control my emotions. Believe me Tarith; it is. I love you; but hitting me on the back of the head when I was trying to save you; it really pissed me off something fierce. And I left to cool down because if I didn't: then I would have hurt you. And I don't want to hurt you Tarith. Now stop: I know what you're gonna say. 'oh; well I have earth, I can defend my self well.'
Of that I have no doubt, but still; I don't want to feel like I want to hurt you Tarith. And sorry about you feeling my anger. It just comes with the package. Well; at least I didn't say or do anything I regret, so that's a good thing."
Tarith shook her head, "Your emotions said enough Koruak. But what you have to remember is I inherited my mother's sharp mind. I think things through. But what has been done is done. Lets move on. Besides, night is our special time now. And I have a little bit of energy left."
She opened the door and walked into her house, giggling a bit as she waited for Koruak.
the last bit is a teaser for the next chapter.
