Bad Romance

The gray wolf walked in and looked around. There was his mate on the sofa. Taking a nap with an empty bowl on the coffee table. The sleeping orange fox was rather cute, girlish in the body with a smooth set of wide hips and a slender figure that could make any woman jealous at a glance. That long graceful tail flicked and wiggled some. It was thick as a pillow, and five times softer. The wolf sighed, and picked up the bowl. Taking it to the kitchen, he found a rather large mess. Coco Puffs on the floor, milk spilled on the counter, and a paw full of wet paper towels on the floor. All in all, the fox was a bit of a slob. The wolf knew he was lucky to have such a guy to call his mate. But he didn't feel like it. He was bored with cleaning after him. He was irritated by the constant nagging, and above all his fur was starting to fall out from the stress. The wolf himself was a tall, well-built gray wolf. The usual fur colors of grays, tans, and blacks that came with his species dominating his fur. His short claws clicked against the side of the bowl as he surveyed the scene.

The wolf began cleaning up, muttering to himself about how much he put up with. And in the back of his mind he had a nagging thought. Six months of this and another four BEFORE the fox had moved in, and still they hadn't slept in the same bed. The wolf craved intimacy, his boyfriend craved cheese puffs. It was like, having a bad roommate. The wolf wanted a bit more. He wanted to at least kiss his boyfriend. To show a little affection; even if it was behind closed doors. Just once in a while and he would be satisfied. They didn't even have to fuck. If the fox would just grind on him, tease him, share the bed and talk dirty it would be enough. Too many nights had the wolf just lay there with a fantasy as his companion while he listened to Robert cussing into the microphone of the headset while he was being owned in a video game. So many times had the wolf taken cold showers or just pawed off to make the feelings go away while he cried.

Getting the kitchen clean, he picked up the phone to order a pizza. But then he set it down. No, enough was enough. It was damn time for that fox to pay up, like it or not. The wolf walked into the living room and snatched him up. Roughly he dragged the fox into a standing position, and grabbed his muzzle. The fox, startled awake by the jerking and sudden forcefulness in which his jaw was grabbed, let out a loud yelp of terror. Then he saw his boyfriend. "Jason....what the fuck do you..." His voice was cut off as the wolf forced a lip lock on him. A deep kiss that was rough, and even forced his tongue into the fox's mouth. The fox had to fight the instinct to bite. But he did push back. "What the hell has gotten into you?"

The wolf grabbed the fox by the shirt and shoved him against the wall roughly. "Shut the fuck up." he said with a none too pleasant growl. The fox lowered his ears. Jason was normally a quiet, reserved, and affectionate wolf. The fox wondered what he had done to piss him off this badly. "Jason, I.." "SHUT UP! Robert. Damn it all. I love you. I love you and all you do to tell me you love me is say 'you too' before you go and make another mess for me to clean. Yes you pay your share of the bills. And I appreciate it. But as far as we go, that's it. You never even kiss me. You never tell me you love me. You never even touch me. We sleep in separate beds for Christ's sake! God damn you fox. I'm sick of it. Either start showing me the affection that I show you, or pack your shit and get the fuck out!"

Robert stared, quietly. He slowly brought a paw up and tried to reach but the wolf turned away. Jason was really mad. His lower lip was even quivering. The fox scratched the back of his head before heading off to his bedroom and shutting the door quietly. Jason watched him go, and then stormed off to his own room. He slammed the door and threw himself on his bed, sobbing. Hours later, he heard what sounded like something heavy scraping across the floor. He got up, wiping at his eyes. Peeking out the door, he watched the fox head for the door with a couple suit cases. The wolf opened the door, in the living room lights the tears he had cried were obvious. But Robert couldn't look at him. He looked at the floor. "I left this and next month's rent on the kitchen counter. I left extra for the power and water. I'm, uh...I'm sorry Jason." Before Jason could say anything the fox raised his paw. "Just, don't. I've caused you enough pain already."

Robert took his things and left. Jason watched him go, and finally headed into the kitchen. There was the money, and a small bit more. The wolf put it in his wallet. Then he called for a pizza and sat to wait. Before long he grew bored and got up to check the fridge. As he had opened it, he found a bottle of beer. The last one in a pack. Jason was never one to drink much. But right now he needed something. As he cracked it open, he sighed. Taking a few sips, he heard the knock at the door. Walking to it, he peeked out. There was the pizza guy. Opening the door, the wolf took his meal and paid for it. After the door was closed he sat to eat. Thoughts rolled in his head, of Robert on a park bench, sleeping under a coat. Of the fox in a homeless shelter, or just in some back alley trying to keep the few things he had close. The wolf swallowed, both his food and the lump in his throat. Robert didn't own a car, he usually took a bus too and from work. It was his only means of transportation as he couldn't pass the written portion of the driving exam. Not that he was stupid, no. gods the fox had two degrees. Robert was just sick of written work to get anything. The wolf dropped his food and stood. Grabbing his jacket and his helmet he moved to the closet. He grabbed the spare jacket and the second helmet.

He walked out the door and headed right for the back of the house. Pulling the cover off a large crotch rocket. He walked it back forward, putting the bike by the small coupe car he drove. Locking the front door and securing the second jacket and helmet to the luggage rack; he quietly mounted the bike, strapped on his helmet, and started the engine. 2500CCs roared to life, waking up everyone within a mile. He peeled rubber leaving the driveway, heading in the one direction he figured Robert would take a bus. He passed through traffic, ran red lights, and even slid through intersections. Finally he came to the bus stop Robert would get off at to go to work. Standing there, he let the engine idle. A bus pulled up, and the fox got off. He looked around a moment before he noticed the wolf sitting there, staring at him.

Robert was surprised to say the least, but also, worried. Had Jason come to do more than just scream at him? The wolf got off the bike and approached him slowly. Taking both suitcases from the fox, he walked back to the bike. "Come on." he muttered. The fox followed slowly. As the wolf strapped the bags to the luggage rack he handed the helmet and the jacket to the fox. "Put them on." he said.

Robert just did as told at this point. He had no real choice. Without Jason he would have no home, no food, and no one to turn too. His parents had basically told him not to come home until he became successful on his own. Once the wolf had the suitcases stowed, he mounted the bike. The fox got on after him, and the wolf started off into traffic. Driving slowly, he just faced forward. Taking a long route back to the house, he slowly pulled into the driveway. As he swung the bike around back, the fox began to worry more. But when the bike came to a stop, the wolf opened his visor and held out a key. "Pizza is on the table. You can have my beer." he said. As the fox took the key, he noticed the wolf was still crying.

The wolf locked down the bike and replaced the cover. Once that was done he began to gather Robert's things. The fox had, meanwhile, entered the house. Nothing had changed really. Jason owned 90% of everything. The only stuff Robert owned were his cloths and the bed in his room. But he couldn't take the bed because he had nowhere to put it. He saw the pizza, and sighed. He picked up a slice, and bit into it. It was the one he always made the wolf order, pepperoni and olives. Jason must have ordered it for one of two reasons. Reflex, having been used to ordering it or he did it because he was trying to apologize. But the fox noticed the open beer and half eaten slice. It had been reflex. The fox, chewed slower. Realizing now how bad he had made things for the wolf. Oh yea he paid half the bills, but he had denied him all the affection and love that a real boyfriend would have given in return.

Robert scratched his head. He tried to think. He had grown up spoiled, an only child. And he had attended a nice college. His degree paid well, but he didn't have any friends. Jason was born into a large family. The middle child that ends up taking the ass end of everything because there is no way the parents believe the younger siblings did anything and the older ones always pinned their blame on him. He had fought, tooth and claw for every nice thing he had. The bike, the car, this rental house, all the furniture.

The fox had had everything handed to him. Even his job. But his parents stopped there. He didn't care, that was what his boyfriend was for right? He sighed and slumped into a chair, no longer interested in the pizza. When he heard the door open, and saw the wolf carrying his bags he finally broke. He cried, real tears as he rushed to Jason. He knocked the suitcases away and embraced his boyfriend. "Oh gods..." he sobbed. Jason stood there at first, perplexed. He figured Robert would just stuff his face and go to the XBOX to play Call of Duty or something. But the fox had barely eaten. Slowly Jason put his arms around his boyfriend, for the first time in almost a year.

The fox kissed his neck, his cheek. And then, gazing him in the eyes, he leaned in and kissed his lips. Jason felt a rush of emotion. He was thrilled, puzzled, angry, sad, but most of all, he was happy. He let everything settle and then he leaned back. "Robert..." but the fox put a finger on his lips. "Shh....just let me talk love. I've been a bastard. I took advantage of you. I made you pick up the slack of where my parents left off. I didn't care. I had no emotion. But, you did care. You cared enough to put up with it for as long as you could. You tried to cuddle, to kiss, and to love me. But I gave nothing back. I took and took, and you only gave more. I was wrong. I want to tell you. I'm sorry. And if you will have me, I'd like another chance."

The wolf was skeptical. He had brought Robert back because he knew the fox had nowhere to go. And that he did care, but he had grown cold to him. Slowly though, he sighed. "Alright, I'll give you a week. A week to prove you want to change. But after that we are just roommates." The fox nodded. A week was what he had, and he would use everything in his power to make sure the wolf was sure that he wanted to change. To prove that he was more than just a mooch. That he wanted to build a long lasting relationship. The fox slowly lowered his arms, and nodded. "One week. I swear, Jason, in one week you will know how much I care."

That night, as they ate, the fox took his time. He poured out the beer, in favor of a glass of water. The wolf took this as at least an attempt. The meal passed with light conversation. The wolf expressing his anger in words and his sadness. The fox taking all this into account, making mental notes on where to improve first. As they said goodnight, and retired to their separate bedrooms, Robert paused and turned. "Goodnight, Jason." The wolf stopped. "Goodnight Robert." he said softly. The next morning as the alarm went off; Jason reached to hit the button. His paw didn't contact the alarm clock first. No, he touched something paper. Sitting up, there was a card there. Turning off the alarm clock, he stood and moved to the master bathroom. He started his shower and as he waited for the water to warm up, he read the card. "Dear Jason; last night I spent hours awake, wondering what I could do in one week to make you see I want to change. I couldn't think of anything. I just couldn't realize what to change about myself first. So, I have decided to just start from scratch. I am going to change my hours so that we see each other more. Love, Robert."

The wolf, though stunned, set the card down. He wasn't willing to accept such change so readily. As he moved into the shower, he let out a small groan as the hot water washed over him. Then he heard the glass door of the shower open. "Um....Jason?" The wolf looked at him. The wolf slept in the buff usually. His thick fur keeping him plenty warm under the covers. The fox stood there in his boxers, shuffling nervously. "C...can I...Can I help you shower?" The wolf was a bit perplexed. Robert had usually hid his body and with good reason too. Though he was what many considered a very beautiful gay male, he didn't sport a large package. He had been mocked in the past for it. The wolf nodded and indicated where the fox could put his boxers. Once the fox had stripped and was inside, the wolf looked at him softly. This was a huge step in the right direction. The fox, though blushing, was at least naked around him.

¡°So...." Jason said softly, a hint of nervousness in his own voice that he didn't expect. Robert nodded and slowly moved one paw away from his crotch. He reached for the fur cleaner, and then he let go of his crotch with the other paw as he poured some into it. The wolf did his best to keep his eyes up on Robert's face. But he couldn't hold them there forever. Slowly they drifted down, and finally saw what Robert was hiding under his paws. His sheath was shorter than most foxes his size, and thinner. His sac not much better. But, to Jason, it was all Robert. Satisfied that he had finally seen his boyfriend, his eyes trailed down his legs. Robert noticed the wolf looking and sighed. "Go on Jason. Laugh." But the wolf shook his head. "I see no reason too...." Robert kind of stared at him, but figured Jason was just being himself, the usual polite wolf with manners.

Once Robert began to scrub into that thick fur, the wolf relaxed some. The stiffness that sleep usually brought on was slowly ebbing away under those soft paws. Jason closed his eyes and let Robert wash him. They both had weekends off, so they could take as long as they wanted. As Robert's paws neared Jason's sheath, they almost stopped. The wolf opened his eyes. Robert was nervous. By comparison, Jason was a monster in length and girth. His own sheath was a good four inches long, just over two thick. And his testicles made Robert's look like peanuts.

The wolf spoke softly. "You can stop there and get my back if you want. You don't have to wash me there." He whispered. The fox nodded, and the wolf turned around. He leaned his head into his arms against the shower. Letting Robert work the lather deep into his fur and back. The soothing feeling of someone massaging him made the wolf let out a content murr. Even if it was just a week of this, it was a massive improvement. More than worth the messes the fox made.

Robert heard that murr, and took it as a good sign. He kept scrubbing, until he reached the the wolf's rear. Something about that toned, tight butt made him jealous. Jealous that Jason had the body of a god and he had nothing. He had never been able to get big. Even scarfing down a huge amount of junk food he gained a few pounds. Jason seemed to be able to gain muscle and tone just from thinking about exercise.

The fox didn't realize his paws had strayed down to that rear and was working him there. He blushed deeply and slowly pulled his paws back up. Jason noticed and glanced back. But he noticed Robert looking away and decided not to say anything. After Robert removed his paws, the wolf moved under the nozzle, rinsing off swiftly. Then he looked at Robert. "Want me to wash you too?"

The Fox nodded and handed him the fur cleaner. The wolf was a bit soft of paw as well, gently working the lather deep into the fox's shoulders. It took all of five minutes to get a full lather worked up and start working down that lithe body. But he paused at the fox's hips and held them there. "You want me to wash you there?" he asks. The fox gave a hesitant nod, but his nervousness is obvious. The wolf slowly worked his paws closer, but when he touched the fox's sheath, Robert let out a loud Yelp that startles them both.

They stare at each other for a moment before the fox lowers his ears and backs into the stream. Rinsing off, he shuts off the water. Jason exits first, taking two towels from a cabinet he offers one to the fox. Robert accepts and dries himself off. Wrapping in the towel before he heads off to his own bedroom. Jason watches him go, and sighs. So close, he had been so close. The contact would not have been sexual, so much as just being able to touch the one he loved.

The rest of the day, they kept a bit of distance from each other. Taking the time to clean the house and yard before they stopped for a light lunch. Robert made sandwiches for them. It was nothing more than ham and cheese. But Jason took it as a sign of improvement. The fox was trying. That night, after a small dinner the wolf fixed, they hugged and went to bed in their own bedrooms.

Jason didn't sleep much, wondering how Robert was doing. He got up very quietly and moved to Robert's room. Peeking in, he saw Robert's back to the door, and saw him breathing. He assumed he was asleep.

Robert had been awake, he had heard the door, but was too scared to turn over and say anything. When he heard Jason retreat back to his own room, he let out a soft sigh of despair. He would have to try harder tomorrow.

As the sun came over the horizon, Jason awoke to the sounds of someone in the kitchen. Robert must be making himself a breakfast. As the wolf sat up, he heard footsteps coming his way. Robert eased the door opened a little. "Did I wake you?" he asked softly. Jason shook his head. "No, I was awake already." The fox reached back out, and brought a tray of food. It was simple. A couple pieces of slightly over done toast, with a little butter on them, and a glass of Orange Juice. The wolf's face softened. Robert had made him a breakfast. Pathetic in size for the wolf's usual breakfast consumption, but the thought was endearing. "I...um....I didn't know how to fix bacon or sausage. I can't really cook. This is the best I can do besides some cereal," he muttered.

Jason smiled at him. "It's something dear. That's what counts." The fox smiled a little, until the wolf reached to caress his cheek. There he flinched some. Jason knew what it was. The fox was scared, of rebuke, and threats again. But the wolf just gave him a soft caress. He lightly nibbled at the toast. Though it was over cooked, and the butter was not enough to soften it, it was the thought that mattered more. And Robert was trying, which made it special.

It was much later in the day that Jason got a big shock. He found a pair of socks in the living room that belonged to Robert. Seeing the fox was napping on the sofa, the wolf decided to just take them to Robert's room. Upon opening the door, he found the room was tidied up. The bed was made, at least it looked like Robert tried to make it. The dirty clothing had found the basket in the corner, and the stacks of porn and junk magazines were piled neatly on the bookshelf. The wolf smiled a little and tossed the socks into the basket. Moving back to the living room, he leaned down and kissed the fox on the cheek. Robert didn't move, but he murred a little in his sleep.

The next day, Robert got up late. He hated his new shift, but he wanted to spend more time around Jason, to prove he wanted to change. Staggering from bed, he looked at the clock. He had missed the buss. It was going to make him an hour late for work. He thought about calling a cab, but he had already given Jason all his money. The fox just decided to hell with it and made for the kitchen. There he found a plate of food, a card, and a small stack of money. Picking up the card he read it. "Hurry and eat dear. You can still make it to work if you call a cab right now."

The fox bit his lower lip, and ran back to his room. Tears in his eyes as he threw on some clothing swiftly and then ran back for the food. It was just an egg sandwich. But to the fox, it was a feast at this hour. Once he had devoured it, he called a cab and went to fix his hair. Having finished that he grabbed the money, grabbed his briefcase, and made a dash for the street. He locked the door and when he arrived at work, found himself just a few minutes late. The boss looked at him from his office, but nothing more. He watched the fox rush to his seat to begin his work.

Raising an eyebrow, he wondered if the fox had be replaced by a clone. Robert was brilliant, but entirely unmotivated. He wondered what was making the fox behave like this. He observed him, during the day. Robert worked his tail like never before. He was nearly finished with a backlog of projects before the boss came over to him. "Robert, a word please. My office." The fox lowered his ears and let out a low whine.

Once inside the office, the boss closed the door. "Robert, I notice a change in you. You seem....well you don't even seem like yourself. Your appearance has gone to hell, but you're working like a mad beast. I have never seen you so motivated. What got under your skin boy?" The fox licked his lips. How could he tell the boss his personal business. "I, uh, I c..c..can't tell you." The boss eyed him. Robert never stumbled for an answer.

¡°Are you taking drugs?" the fox sat bold up right, "No Sir!" The boss nodded. "Well...what else could it be dear boy?" The fox slumped deep into the seat. "M...My boyfriend sir." The boss nodded. "Having trouble at home?" The fox shook his head. "No. It's me sir. I am his trouble. I'm trying to change. I'm trying to be better but I don't know if I can do enough. I'm afraid I'm gonna lose him." The fox's eyes welled with tears. He did love Jason, but he didn't know how to show him. The boss nodded. "Alright, look. Calm down. Just breathe. Listen to me. We offer marriage counseling services to employees here. Why don't you and he come see one of our staff about this? Couldn't hurt could it?"

The fox swallowed the lump in his throat. "I don't know. He has always been a private person. And I don't want him to think I'm just looking for a reason to not change." The boss smiled. "You know, I almost divorced my old lady three times now. Those nuts on the 15th floor kept our marriage alive. I think that they can at least give you a few pointers. Why do you just go talk to them yourself then? Just you. No one has to know. If anyone asks, tell them I sent you there to speak with someone about setting up a departmental meeting. Here I'll give you something to take with you."

The boss typed up a fake letter for the fox, then a real one. "Look, when you get there, give the real one to the secretary. She will point you at whom you need to speak with. Go ahead, and take the time you need. You have more than done your share of work for the day." The fox stood and headed out. Papers in paw, he took the elevator up to the 15th floor. Once there he, he found himself in a quiet place that resembled a doctor's office. Walking to the receptionist, he held out the paperwork to her. "Alright, just take a seat. I'll sort you out real fast."

As the fox took his seat he found the waiting room to be rather comfortable. The chairs were soft, and large. The music was calming, helping to sooth his rather frayed nerves. After a moment a soft voice called his name. "Robert, would you come with me please?" He stood and found himself looking at an older vixen. She was at least forty-five, slightly heavy set, but with a smooth soft voice. Taking him to a back room she had him sit on a chair. Her own chair was similar, and as she slid herself down in it, she pulled a clip board close and began to scribble notes on it. After a moment she spoke to him softly. "So tell me, what is happening between you and your boyfriend."

Robert choked. He felt a lump jump into his throat and he nearly couldn't breath suddenly. Finally he managed to swallow that lump and spoke in a slow, almost whisper. "I...don't want to lose him." She nodded, and he continued. "I....I've been terrible to him. And we had a fight. But, he took me back. He told me that if I loved him, I had to prove it in one week. That was two days ago. I want to be his. But I don't know how to prove it."

She held a box of tissues out to him and smiled a little. "Well, a week is a little straining. I think he could have given you more time. But you seem like you want to make it work. Have you done anything these past two days?" the fox took a few tissues and wiped at his face. "Yeah. I tried to make him breakfast. I...I started working a new shift to try and be with him more. I cleaned my room." She stopped taking notes. "You don't share a bedroom?" He shook his head. "Who's idea was that?" He looked at her pitifully. "It was mine. I'm....small. I didn't want him laughing at me." She smiled at him. "I don't think he would laugh if he loved you. Does he know?" the fox nodded.

¡°Did he laugh?" she asked. Robert shook his head. "Well I think he's honestly trying to make it work as well. I think you might need to just take a break from work while you work on this though. I'll speak with your manager and see about getting you some vacation time. Do you have any leave time built up?" The fox nodded, of all his bad work practices, he had never actually called in sick. "Good. I'll have him put you on leave for the next few days. During that time, you can try to relax and just spend time with your boyfriend. That should prove to him that you love him."

Robert nodded as he watched her pick up a phone and press a few buttons. "I need the employee information for Robert please." There was a short wait. "Connect me to his manager on the 10th floor please." There was a long pause as they waited in silence. After a moment she smiled. "Charles, yes This is Cathryn. I'm fine, how are you?" a short pause and she continued. "I need to ask you a favor. Robert will need sometime off. Can you arrange for him to have the rest of this week off?" The vixen smiled brightly the fox. "Thank you Charles. You have a good day as well. Yes tell your wife I said hello. Thank you again. Bye." The vixen then smiled and then leaned back. "I want you to take this time to relax, and spend time with him. Maybe you can learn to do something he would enjoy."

Robert nodded and looked at her. She took down a few more notes, and then wrote down a note for him. "Here, this is a list of ways to help you relax when you need it. If you find the situation too tense, then try something from this list." She held the list to him as she stood. Standing, he took the list and looked at her. "Off you go now Robert. Go home, and maybe do something special for him when he comes home to you. Make him dinner or give him a back rub. Talk to him sweetly. Fix him a bubble bath." Robert nodded and slowly left back to his desk. Gathering his things, he left for the rest of the week. He didn't know how he could do this. But he had ideas. Those were a start.

The fox took a buss, and arrived home with two hours until Jason would hit the door. The fox moved to the fridge. There was some pasta there, and a block of cheese. The fox wondered about trying to make something. But he didnt know how to cook meats. Then he looked at the phone. He didn't have enough money to order dinner. So he fell back to what he did know. How to make sandwiches. He toasted some bread, and then spread a little mayo and mustard on them. Adding some cheese slices and a few slices of sandwich meats, he closed them and fixed a glass of coke for each of them. As he was setting the table he heard the door open.

Jason was surprised to see Robert home from work this early. Even more so to see him fixing food for them both. The wolf stared a moment, before smiling softly. He shut the front door and moved to the fox. Robert figured he was about to be laughed at for not being able to cook, but Jason softly hugged him. Then much to the fox's surprise, Jason pressed his lips to him softly. Kissing him tenderly as he slowly ran his paws over his shoulders and back. Robert blushed deeply. As Jason slowly broke the kiss, he whispered. "Thank you babe. Dinner looks great."

Robert smiled a little and they sat. As Jason took a bite, Robert watched him. Jason smiled, enjoying the fact his boyfriend was trying more now. "So, you got done at work early?" The fox shook his head. "The um...The therapist at work put me on leave for the rest of the week." Jason stopped eating, he set his food down. "Therapist?" he asked softly.

Robert recoiled in terror, like his whole world was crashing down. "I'm sorry!" he sobbed. Jason nearly came out of his fur then. "Robert? Baby are you alright?" He moved to the fox and hugged him tightly. "I'm sorry," he whimpered again. "Sorry for what?" It was a while before the fox calmed enough to explain what had happened. Finally with all the words out, the wolf looked at his beloved. "Oh, hun. It's okay. I don't mind you seeing someone if you have too. If you want I can come too next time." "Really?" Robert rubbed his eyes, wiping at the tears.

Jason nodded and pat the fox's paw. "You just relax alright. Lets finish dinner and then we can bathe and go to sleep." The fox nodded, and then an idea came to him. After the meal, he stood and began collecting the dishes. But Jason gently took them from him. "You go on and shower love. Let me do these. You look rather worn out anyway." The fox nodded. As he headed to his bathroom, he paused. Watching Jason set to the dishes, the fox went and got himself a fast shower.

When he came out, he heard The other shower running. Good, Jason wouldn't notice him until he came out. As the fox crept into the wolf's room, he saw the bed was empty. Jason was humming to himself in the shower. The fox pulled the covers down and slid into the bed. Then with a quick thought, he pulled his boxers off. Once he was naked again, he pulled the covers back up.

Jason came out of the shower and began drying off. As he came out into his bedroom, he saw Robert there, in his bed, as if waiting for him. The wolf tossed his towel into a basket and cocked his head to the side. "I thought...that ...I could sleep with you tonight." The fox whispered.

Jason smiled a bit and moved into the bed. Pulling Robert against his damp fur, he whispered. "I'd like that." Kissing the fox, he stroked his hair and smiled at him. "Baby...about this ....week to prove yourself." the fox put a finger to his lips. "No...I still don't feel I have done enough. Let me at least have this week. Make your decision then." The wolf nodded, but deep down, he could see the change in the fox. Even if it was only a little change, it was more than he had seen since they had first met.

Jason watched the fox drift to sleep, leaned on his chest. The wolf felt that light pang, that calling of lust. But this time, it was so little he barely noticed. There was time yet for that. For now, he merely wanted to sleep with his mate and dream happily.

It was over cast the next morning, the wolf sitting up and rubbing his eyes. He felt something warm in the bed with him. Looking down, the wolf smiled at the fox. It was still early, as the alarm clock had not gone off. The Wolf slid from bed and moved to the bathroom. As he was starting his shower, he heard the soft rumble of distant thunder. His ears twitched, and he looked back in the bedroom. The fox squirmed under the covers as he whined.

The wolf slowly moved back to the bed, sitting on it and petting the fox's cheek. Robert opened his eyes slowly. "Mmm what's going on?" he said softly. Jason leaned down and kissed his cheek. "It's morning. The weather's looking kind of rough today." The fox lowered his ears and let out a soft whine. The wolf smiled and pulled the fox up into his arms. "Come on. Let's go shower and wake up. I'll leave you some cash so you can order something for dinner."

The fox nodded and slid from the covers. As they came to the shower, the wolf pulled the fox in with him and closed the door. Taking a bottle of fur cleaner, the wolf began to lather his lover up. Leaning close he kissed his nose. "Silly fox." The fox murred as his wolf rubbed him all over. He gladly returned the favor after he rinsed off.

They dried off and headed to the kitchen. Fixing simple breakfasts, they sat to eat when a loud peel of thunder shook the house. The fox dropped his fork and jumped. The wolf moved to get him a new fork, and spoke softly. "Why dont I take today off babe?" The fox nodded.

The wolf picked up the phone and called his boss. Taking a personal day, he told his boss he felt a little under the weather. His boss understood and told him to get better. Once the wolf hung up, he moved back to the fox and handed him a clean fork. "Here you go babe. Come on. Eat up and we can relax today."

The day was slow to pass, the fox jumping each time the thunder roared. He was terrified of the storm. Jason just tried to cuddle and hold him, and love him. It made the fox feel better, but he was still tense. Finally, after dinner they were cleaning the kitchen together. Jason had decided that Robert had really turned around. The wolf was happy that he was making effort and learning. But he felt bad that the fox was scared of storms.

Jason and Robert were settling down to watch TV when it got bad and the power went out. The fox yelped loudly and covered his head with a pillow. The wolf lowered his ears and then moved to Robert. Pulling him up and taking him to the bedroom. The wolf lay the fox down and lay next to him. "Hey love. It's alright. It's just some loud noise and rain. I'm right here."

The fox pulled himself closer, rubbing his face on Jason's chest. The wolf pet the fox and whispered. "Shh, I have you baby..." the fox raised his head and pressed his cheek against Jason's. Robert was feeling strangely, and it was something he had never felt before. He looked into Jason's soft eyes, and for the first time in their relationship saw the love the wolf had for him. The fox leaned up and kissed him softly. The wolf slowly kissed back and moved over the fox. Their paws ran up and down each others bodies. Feeling every inch for the first time.

Jason slowly broke the kiss and leaned back. "Robert....do you want to?" The fox nodded. Feeling Jason's paws run down his sides and gently grips his boxers. Slowly he pulled them down. Then the wolf removed his own boxers. Both of them bare now, the fox whispered. "Go slow...please." the wolf gazed down knowingly and smiled. "Anything for you baby..." The wolf pressed his body against the fox, and began to run, caress, and tease him heavily.

Robert could only moan and writhe as he felt those soft fingers tracing his ever curve. His long thick fox tail twitched and swished to his side, and he wrapped his arms around Jason. The fox could only moan as he felt his arousal grow more and more. He could feel the wolf's one arousal growing too. That thick sheath pressing against his leg, grinding into him. He wanted it, wanted to feel it in his paws, his mouth. He wanted to be held and mated like a bitch.

Jason listened to those sweet soft moans and smiled as he licked and kissed his mate. "Mmm you taste good foxy. You like this?" Robert groans at those words and gripped the wolf tighter. "Mate me love..."The wolf leaned up, a bright flash of lightening coming through the window and lighting them both up, the thunder shaking them both.

The morning sun rose slowly the next morning. Breaking the cloud cover, but not much. The thunder was still rumbling, but softer. The fox opened his eyes. And found himself looking at the clock. He felt a warm pair of arms hugging him and looked back. He could see Jason pressed tightly to his back. He went to move a leg and felt the thick knot of the wolf still locked inside him. The fox was starting to feel sore, but it was alright. He closed his eyes and went back to sleep. Waiting for the alarm clock to go off.
